I've been seeing Dr rustagi for 10 years I look for 30 before I found him he is turned out to be a true lifesaver he was there for me in the beginning anytime I needed in all I had to do is call him and yes it did take several medications for us to find out the right one for me and as some of the rest of you put he's very understanding very patient but the man is very blunt and they don't pull any punches that's what I like about him he's the best one I've ever seen and if anything ever happened to where I couldn't see him I would be totally lost he's a very good man very professional very kind good staff not a long wait and Dr rustagi is a smart man I think the rest of these people that have left negative comments just didn't like it because he is direct and straight to the point and willing to help anybody if they had a bad experience then there's probably something Dr rustagi picked up on that just didn't settle with him. He's never been rude telling me he's been there for me for everything at night early mornings he's a good man and he's very good at his job I would highly recommend him to anybody he has excellent insight!

I enjoyed going to Dr. Rustagi. He wasnt friendly, but he took the time to understand what I was dealing with and I felt his diagnosis and medicine prescribed worked. I left his office due to his staff. When I missed and appointment I was told I couldn't reschedule. I was not informed that all I needed to do was pay a fee for missing my appointment. I also had one of his front desk personnel shut there glass in my face as if I was a bother checking in. I personally have never been treated so rudely by staff I just couldn't bring myself to go back into his office.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Rustagi for years. He is THE BEST! He listens to you to fully understand what’s going on before prescribing any meds. He is always cautious with me, and orders tests whenever it is even remotely necessary. He is polite, and caring. I don’t know what I’ll ever do when he retires! Long live the DOC!

My mom took me here because she wanted me to get better, and be better. I believe I was in 7th grade when Rustagi started seeing me, and it was hell on earth. I remember one time he looked me dead in the eye and accused me of lying about my symptoms and that I just wanted him to take me off my pills. Plus when you enter you have to fill out a form saying how you have been doing since the last time the doctor saw you, one time when I filled out my form and gave it to him he threw it down on his desk and got angry at me because my mother was suppose to fill it out since I was a minor at the time (the doctor I go to now doesn't do this, even though I'm still a minor, the receptionist will personal hand the form to me to fill out). Instead of asking me about how I was doing, and if I was getting better he would asked the adults I was with. (My mother works very hard so my grandparents usually take me to my doctor's appointments) One day he asked my grandparents how I was doing to which my grandfather replied "why do you ask HER how SHE'S doing?" He would test everything I said, come up with things that aren't true, make me feel bad instead of helping me. The way he presents himself with an air of confidence that he shouldn't possess, and the amount of arrogance he has makes me physical sick. He is such a hateful rude man and I hate everything about him. Never go here if you value your children, yourself, and your time.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. The recepitionist are VERY sweet and professional. As for Doctor Rustagi he is very rude, racist and unprofessional. He will ask questions and cut you off mid sentence. He is NOT child friendly. I brought my daughter to one visit she is 5. He talked to her and I like dogs. He was very friendly with other patients that weren’t of color. It’s very sad to see that a doctor would even allow his racist ways to enter his practice and its a shock that not even small children are safe from his racist ways. I’m appalled and disgusted at the way my daughter and I were being treated.

He seems a little "blunt" during his visits with you, but he is very cordial and friendly. He is very efficient at what he does and really understands his patients. He is an extremely intelligent man. This doctor was very helpful to me and to be able to say I trust him means a great deal. Glad I found him.

Dr. Rustagi is hands down, the best Psychiatrist in Fort Wayne. A friend referred me to him after we had struggled with another provider. She said that she had seen Dr. Rustagi since she was a teenager and now takes her teenage son to him. She said she has always felt that he was good at listening to a patient and then discerning medications that would best help. I found him to be the same. My son has five diagnosed mental health diagnosis's and is complicated to medicate. He was very patient with us as it took trying multiple medications to find the best one for him. We spoke multiple times on weekends and he took the time to understand our situation and make changes as needed. I now see Dr. Rustagi myself, and have found him to be an intelligent prescriber. I highly recommend he and his office!!

Long ago in the early 1990s I had been suffering from depression and treatment was not working. I went to Dr. Rusagi and he worked until he found the best solution; a solution no other doctor had considered. That treatment has carried me through to today and beyond. He was diligent in solving the problem, unlike any other doctor I had seen. Thank you for saving my life and making it possible to be a productive person. You are the best.

I have been going to Dr. Rustagi since I was around 8 or 9 years old. I had gone to many doctors before him and no one could help me. I had horrible panic attacks and couldn't even go to a store or restaurant. My life has completely turned around since we started going to Dr. Rustagi. He does say it like it is, but I do too so that's one of the things I like about him! Once you get used to his personality, he's fine. He is very smart and really knows his stuff!

He is very rude and self ran. As a 12 year old he diagnosed me with multiple disorders based on what teachers had said about me. 5 years and multiple pills later I was only taken off because of an intern. Immediately I started doing better in school. As soon as she dismissed me he threw a hissy fit calling me an idiot and cussin me and my father out. He nonponger works at that location. Wonder why

He was hateful and pre judging. Without even know the person .He should learn how to talk to his patients with respect and disrespect.I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

This was not a great experience. I talked to a woman for over an hour explaining everything and why I was coming in to see a psychiatrist. The actual psychiatrist then came in and spoke to me for about 7 minutes and diagnosed me but did not describe or explain anything about the diagnosis. If you want a psychiatrist that actually seems like they care about their patients, don't go here.

Dr. Rustagi is a very good person. He consulted with me after my medical record was completely ruined by the incompetence of other doctors here in Fort Wayne. If you need a doctor that cares, do not see anyone but Dr. Rustagi. Your medical record is your life, and it will follow you everywhere. The big hospitals will team up, and destroy you on paper, as soon as a single one of their doctors makes a mistake. Do not trust them. Anyone who does not believe me, I will be happy to post my records for review. If you are seeing anyone other than Rustagi, my advice is to drop them before they screw up and hang you out to dry.

I have seen many Psychiatrists in my lifetime. If you really want to improve your mental health, he's the one to see. As a patient of his, I went to one of his seminars on Mindful Meditation. It teaches you how to be gently aware of the experiences you are faced with. It also teaches you to keep from attaching to your emotions. I have been practicing this along with neurofeedback and counseling. His next seminar is October 10th, 2017. I suggest making an appointment with him if you are truly seeking to improve your life. I also suggest you go to the seminar. I wish you peace and wellness on this journey we call life.

Dr. Rustagi is hands down the best psychiatrist I've ever been to. From my first appointment with him all the way to now, he's been kind, respectful and incredibly helpful. He treats me like I'm a human being , which seems to be rare when it comes to mental health. I've never waited more than 10-15 minutes at his office. And in an emergency, I've been able to get same-day appointments, which was a life saver for me. I'd highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for a great psychiatrist in Fort Wayne.
