Had a horrible experience here. My first appointment I watched my doctor talk to the receptionist for 30 minutes. My appointment was at 2 and I didn't get seen until 2:30. The doctor changed way too many medications at one time causing me withdrawal symptoms. When I went to get a refill for a prescription I had to get a prior authorization from the doctor here. It's been 10 days since then. I've called 4 times about it and haven't gotten a call back. I visited the place today and have been waiting for nearly 30 minutes with out a person in sight at their office. No signs or anything. This is absolutely ridiculous. The worst doctor I've ever had

I didn't have a very good experience with Dr Mohana Naidu. In my first meeting with her, I challenged something she said to me, by saying that my Psychologist (who I had been seeing for over a year) did not feel that way, and then she responded by saying that she knew more than him, because she was a psychiatrist, and that he was a psychologist. She also told me that I was supposed to talk to my family, because not talking to the leads to depression, and also because it was a sign of schizophrenia. A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who I saw later on, told me that it was normal for me to not talk to them, after being briefed on my background. When I had asked her if we could try alternative methods, instead of having me take medicine, she told me that not wanting to take medicine was a sign of schizophrenia. Any person has the right to refuse medicine. This right exists for a reason. She also told me that I had to bring my parents to the appointments. Something that no therapist has ever told me before. I did not feel comfortable having my parents speak on my behalf, and rightly so, because I caught my father saying something that was not true about me, in session. When I was trying to be friendly and make conversation with her, she said to my father that I constantly talk, which is another sign of schizophrenia (this was during the second meeting). I would spend all of my time with my psychologist (different person, who I had been seeing for over a year) talking face to face, whereas this psychiatrist asks some questions here and there, and spends a lot of time typing on her computer. During session, your therapist is supposed to talk to you, to get to know you. During one of the sessions, my father raised his voice with me when I was defending myself, and even verbally attacked me at one point. Yet, when I asked Dr Naidu if I could come to the appointments without my father, she completely declined, stating that he was more trustworthy than I was. Even after he raised his voice with me during the appointment, verbally attacked me, and gave out misinformation.

They don’t ever answer their phones and are wildly unhelpful. I’d recommend finding another place.
