Very rude staff.. Dr. Ndiro spends more time checking off boxes on a 'questionnaire' than listening to the patient. Often has interns with him and does not introduce them to the patient which lends to a very awkward experience. I hope the interns are learning what not to do! You can expect to spend over 30 mins. in the waiting room.

Dr. Ndrio and his staff work very hard to balance and serve every person who comes through their doors. Dr. Ndrio especially is the busiest, most hard-working psychiatrist I've seen, and he KNOWS his stuff. We had the craziest 18 months, and my 12 year old ADHD/Autistic son went from being suicidal and 100% non-functioning at school - to his happy self again, who can participate in school and feel good about his work. He's helped my daughter, who had so much anxiety she stopped being able to participate in class, treated my husband, and we have been seeing therapists in his office for these 18 months. The therapists get to know you, set goals for you, and encourage you to get to those goals and conquer them. I was most impressed with Dr. Ndrio's medical knowledge and ability to rattle out a plan to fix something as if it was the easiest thing in the world - I came in for the rest of my family for a year, and then decided to see Dr. Ndrio for my own depression/anxiety medicine, because it wasn't working. At my appointment, I met with Dr. Danielle Schmidt (who we also love equally) and we discovered that the old practice I had been at (Baber & Associates) had over-prescribed me the medicine I was on, by more than 150% the recommended dosage for that medicine. Everyone calmly sat down, and Dr. Ndrio thought for what seemed like a few seconds, visibly solving a puzzle in his mind - and then shot out how we were going to fix it. He listed off a plan that I was able to follow, as Danielle typed it up - to wean me off the medicine I was on, and put me on a new medicine that would not only benefit my anxiety/depression, but was also known to help with arthritis (which I have) because they knew I had trouble with that, too. Right now, I'm more than fully transitioned into my new medicine regimen and I didn't even know I could feel this normal. Dr. Ndrio might not have cuddly bear approaches to his job, as it seems some people would like him to have, but HE KNOWS HIS STUFF - inside and out! If you want comfort over your problems, please see his staff! They know what to do. The office is full of busy people, including students occasionally, who follow Ndrio through his work - and I've seen him in the midst of his routines, randomly shoot out questions to them, involving them in what is going on and making sure they learn while on his team. Ndrio is a multi-tasking master! And when he's not running this office, he's up at Presence Mercy, working with the kids there. We looked at FIVE other practices, over two years, and NONE of them could help my son - and Ndrio kick-started a treatment for him that IMMEDIATELY helped him. My son realized... there's nothing wrong with him. His self esteem boosted. It's been a huge roller coaster journey, but I'm forever grateful for this staff and their love for their work. We also love Dr. Kristin Hughes, and are so glad that *SOMEHOW* there are three head honchos in this office who love and care about the people they see enough to make sure what they do is accurate. They listen, process, apply, and succeed in what they do for you. I had a time once when I was there for an appointment, and forgot the diaper bag for my littlest - and Dr. Ndrio had someone run out and buy diapers for the office to have on hand for situations such as this - and then they gave me a diaper. What psychiatrist's office does that? Ten stars. Ten.

I have been visiting Advanced Behavioral Health Services for over a year now and can honestly say that I have made a lot progress thanks to the support from Dr. Ndrio, Meraj Baig and the interns at this location. I feel like I am being heard each time I visit and explain what is happening with my mental health. From the moment you walk into the office, you are greeted with a smile at the receptionist's desk and are greeted with a kind and warm smile. I highly recommend this location to anyone who is in need of getting help with their mental health. I will continue to visit this location as many times needed to over come my struggle with depression and anxiety. Thank you to everyone at the Advanced Behavioral Health Services location for your help and services!!!

These people could care less about you. I've I have to wait up to 45 minutes each time I seen Dr. Ndrio and the last time he was in such a hurry, he just upped my medication and ended the session. I ran out of medication recently and my pharmacy was trying to reach him for refills- no response. I called and talked to the receptionist & explained the situation. She was very rude & said well you haven't been in the past month. They prescribe medication but if their patient can't come in within a certain amount of time, they deny them medication. I received no call or explanation of their policy, the receptionist said if I didn't like it, it's fine if I go elsewhere. I wish I would've read the bad reviews beforehand...This place is beyond unprofessional.

My experiences with Dr. Ndrio and Staff have been very positive! I can reach them when needed, get medications refilled with no issues and always get an appointment at the times I need to. I think it's great that he has interns in his office and have felt very comfortable with them. My kids would be the first to say if they didn't like someone and so far, we are very happy!

Without going on and on, in a nutshell - psychiatrists do NOT EVER come better than Dr N'Drio!! His entire staff is amazing but as in the doctors abilities, I don't believe there is a doctor out there in this area who has the knowledge, listens, gets it more...years if therapies etc and within less than a year of seeing Dr N'Drio I kid not mine and my sons worlds have been turned around, most definitely in the right direction...thank God he is young lol because I truly fear the day he retires and we can no longer see him...life changing...he is not one to sugar coat or pansy you which I like but even if you don't the care you get is well worth it...I truly believe it doesn't get better than here...the entire staff really...we drive over an hour and will never change that...it is worth whatever we have to sacrifice because he changes your whole view of mental health...the BIGGEST THANKS EVER Dr N'Drio

Very unethical business. Billed for services not provided.

Dr. Ndrio, is one of the rudest doctors or professionals. I've ever dealt with. He called me and idiot straight to my face. Highly debating switching doctors after this, and he came off as huge misogynist EDIT: The Doctor called me multiple times demanded I take this review down and called me a liar. He then canceled my prescription he wrote the following day. Medicene in which I NEED. All out of revenge. Awful person

I am not a patient of Dr. Ndrio and I never will be because of what I just experienced. I am looking for immediate assistance and have been going down the list of providers that I got from my insurance company. I came to ABHS's information (#14 on the list) and proceeded to call. I got connected to the Dr. via the phone tree and he then proceeded to lecture me that I did not have an urgent need, that I needed to call back and press 0, that I was not his patient and then he hung up on me. To start, he didn't know if my need was urgent as he never asked the purpose of my call. Secondly, - and I'm no doctor, but common sense - if a person is calling a BEHAVIORAL HEALTH facility and indicating they have an "urgent" need, it doesn't take a genius to realize that the person is potentially in a crisis or near-crisis mode. I just keep thinking, what if it hadn't been me but someone suicidal had called? It sickens me to think that this person considers his action acceptable considering the field he is in.

Staff is super rude and will take money out of your bank account without your consent. They promised to send me an email to see what I signed . No email , lady with foreign accent dismissed me . I’m contacting the State Attorneys office and BBB for their tactics . Never , ever give them your credit card number . They will take money out without consent and lie. They lied about my husband consenting ro charge MY card .

Awesome work with my son!

I’m so happy to have Meraj Baig as my healthcare provider. I never feel rushed. She answers all of my questions. We went over detailed information about two specific drugs. She asked me several questions to gauge which drug was best for me. She reviewed all of the details of the drugs out of a book before prescribing. (The drug interactions, long term side effects, short term side effects, how it works in my body.... really everything you need to know about a drug before taking it). I filled my prescription and started taking it with full confidence. In addition to this, I’ve been seeing Cody White as my therapist for nearly 3 months now. His sessions have had such a multifaceted positive impact on my life. If you’re looking for a therapist who gets you to start thinking and noticing areas you need to work on as well as giving you the proper techniques and tools to help yourself, Cody is your guy! I highly suggest Cody as a therapist. Hope this helps you in finding what you need.

I saw a therapist at ABH last fall and planned to used EAP to pay for the services. I coordinated with my insurance provider, they gave me the info, I gave it to my provider and the front desk. The front desk explained I would have to pay for my sessions until the EAP "reimbursed" them. Cool. So I paid $112 the first few times I went, then was told my EAP was approved and paying for the services, and thought we were GTG. I went to about six counseling sessions before deciding to stop. Every time I would bring up my history with disordered eating, my therapist kept hinting that I should try Weight Watchers. (?????) Don't even get me started on how clinically inappropriate this is, to suggest a diet to a person in recovery from eating disorders, but I digress. Fast forward a couple months and I get a statement from ABH in the mail for my services claiming I owe ~$300. I called them and explained the EAP, gave them the EAP info and they told me to disregard the statement, which I did. Fast forward to a week ago when my debit card was suddenly charged by ABH for $285. ?!?!? So I called their billing department AGAIN on Wednesday and left a voicemail. It's been two full weeks and I haven't heard back from them. So in short - this place is messy. Messy clinicians. Messy administration. Go elsewhere.

If you want someone to coddle you, go somewhere else. If you want someone to make a plan that works he is your doctor. He has had my son's best interests in mind since the first day, 3 years ago, since we walked I his doors. We also love Cody White! Fantastic therapist and our son loves him.
