Yeah she gave me a seizure medication that she said was for bipolar( I DON'T HAVE SEIZURES)and I'm having all of the bad side effects, including psychosis, irritability, anxiety, poor sleep, so on and so forth. On top of that she doesn't answer the phone.

Adore Gia; she’s a fantastic practitioner who’s helped me a great deal, but it is close to impossible to get someone on the phone. It seems set to auto-voicemail and they never call back quickly, making a simple task of setting an appointment incredibly frustrating. Please make an online option for requesting appointments.

Gia is great but the office never answers their phone and they have billed me for a no show that I canceled in advanced. I keep trying to call to speak with someone and have left several messages but nothing. This is not the first time I have felt undervalued as a patient here. The receptionist is a little rude too :( I stopped going there.

I have been taking my grandson to Gia for years. He has ADHD and Bipolar. She has worked with him since he was young and has always worked really well with him, which has been hard for most people in the past. She is as real as they come.

Every time I try to get a medication refill, it's a struggle to merely get them to pick up the phone. I've been getting my refill from my regular doctor because if this, but now that it's been long enough, they can't do that for me. This has been a huge problem in the past and I have to wonder why it's so hard to get a simple appointment. I need my medication so I can function in the workplace, and lately that has been a struggle as well. I may switch to someone who at least answers their phone. I'm tired of missing out on my medicine because I simply can't get a hold of the doctor. Update: I did finally get an appointment scheduled then they call me a couple weeks later because they aren't available. I ended up cancelling because I can't wait any longer for my meds. No, I couldn't recommend this clinic. With how difficult it is to get an appointment it's just not something I can do. Good bye. My family have been customers for a while... But frankly I'm displeased. At least they didn't seem to mind losing business.

Gia is great at knowing exactly what will benefit you in the long run. But the only gripe I have is the fact that no one answers the phone during business hours no matter how many times I call. And when I leave a voice mail for them to call back when they can it takes about one or two business days and for a mental health provider I find that pretty unprofessional.

Gia is freaking awesome, you can tell she actually cares and is genuine in what she does. She isn't just there to collect a check and write prescriptions like some other psychiatrist in the valley.... her receptionist is also super nice, loves to know everyone that comes through the door. Will never go anywhere else!

Really enjoyed my experience with Gia, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to get someone to answer the phone. It's extremely frustrating when trying to schedule appointments and verify appointments.

Gia Swope has saved my life, literally, several times. I am so grateful to have her by my side as I try to navigate the slippery slopes life can hand us. She is the best listener I have ever met and far outshines the psychologists and psychiatrists I have sought help from in the past. She answers any questions you may have and gives answers in words a layman can understand. She diagnosed my problem practically immediately and started me on medication I should have been using years ago and new and better medication that was not available in the past. I thank her each and every day for the help she has given me. She is a superb superb practitioner!
