They won't help people w medicaid

I was referred by my lpn who works on the 2nd floor in gynecology-(Mrs Pierce is amazing, btw!! Love her!). I need someone to talk with $m& that’ll listen, & possibly the meds I used to get (since I was 19-I’m 36 now), but haven’t got since my dr retired last summer. I went to a dr somewhere else, once or twice after that, but she wouldn’t listen to my problems-& I have ptsd? That’s unprofessional & not right. She told me to not talk about the past-I understand how that works in normal life situations, but that’s why we pay counselors-to listen to our problems & hopefully to try & treat them with therapy &/or meds. I hope this dr at Springhill is good, like I’ve heard that she is, & I’m excited to be trying a new dr here at Springhill in a couple of weeks-& I pray that she listens, is kind & compassionate, & wont judge me. I also pray she gives me at least a low dose of the medicine that I used to be on, & that I need. (I will update this as soon as I see them.)

I have been going here for at least 4 years now and the "doctors" keep getting worse! Today I had an appt with Joshua Proemsey. He is TERRIBLE! Condescending,rude,argumentative,dismissive,all of the things a mental health provider should NOT be! I left there in tears for the second time in a month! I go there for help. Not to be hurt more! The attending physician was awful as well. The office manager,Mary Ellen Frey is a joke as well. This place needs a real clean up!!!!! They are so out of touch when it comes to mental health.

Everyone I encounter, from the downstairs receptionists, to the people who check you in, to my doctor, is absolutely wonderful. My doctor is very thorough, and never makes me feel rushed. He has called me when he knew things were very rough for me to make sure that I'm maintaining, or to see if I need to come in. I feel they all genuinely care, and I'm very happy here.

Dr. Morrissey is amazing. I went in for my first psychiatric appointment ever and I was very nervous and anxious. Dr. Morrissey made me feel comfortable and relaxed as soon as I was taken back. She’s very nice, compassionate and you can tell she loves what she does and genuinely wants to help you. She gives you ample room for answers and never interrupts you. She explains everything very well and made me feel so much better about visiting for the first time. I’m glad I made my appointment here and I look forward to continuing treatment with Dr. Morrissey. If you’re able to, request an appointment with her! She’s the best.
