I cannot say enough good things about this practise and it's employees. I followed Dr N from when she worked in a practise in down town Orlando to Windermere. That's how special, kind, smart and compassionate she is. I have been seeing Salema Watts - ARNP-BC for several years now. She is kind and caring and very knowledgeable. She wants to know about my life. She is NOT there just to write you a script and send you on your way. I want to add that "medical professionals" now know that certain psychotropic drugs are addicting and in the long run they are not good for you. Selema has been patiently working with me for quite a while to wean me off one of these Benzo medications. She is doing it the RIGHT way. I so appreciate her help with this and also with prescribing the right medications for my condition. I am appalled by some of the reviews I have seen here. If you are just doctor shopping this is NOT the place for you. If your only interest is getting a script filled ( with a proven addictive and unsafe drug) This is NOT the place for you. You should appreciate that these professionals are more concerned with your "long term" mental health than in just writing scripts and sending you on your way. If you really want the right kind of help for your mental and physical well being than "The Happy Mind Company" is the perfect place for you. I also want to give a shout out to the kind and courteous front desk and administrative staff. You care about your patients and it shows.

I have been seeing Dr. Napolitano for 9 years. She has, literally, saved my life. She is very kind, compassionate and self sacrificing. I have found her to be very accessible, always getting back to me when I have a question. Always very helpful in getting me my medication. I know she is always looking out for me. I find the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. They have always gone above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of. I do not live in Orlando, and have not since my first year of treatment, but, I continue yo see Dr. Napolitano, even though that means my insurance won't cover my visits. To me it is worth it to be seen by such a kind and caring professional.

Deenah (Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner I believe) and Dr. Napolitano have been so helpful in getting me on the right medications for my bi-polar and ADHD. I was referred to them by Amy a CVS Pharmacist at CVS in Dr. Phillips when a previous Psychiatrist had prescribed an unsafe combination of medicine. The Pharmacist was so right about how caring, and well versed in their profession they both are. They don't send you out the door in 5 mins with a laundry list of meds. They prescribe one med at a time and change or add on to it once they know how it is working for you. I wish all my doctors were as wonderful as these two ladies. I also appreciate the two ladies who work at the front desk; Ally and Melanie. They are really helpful and always find a way to get you in with Deenah or Dr. Napolitano when you let them know you need to be seen. My mental health has improved so much thanks to The Happy Mind Company! I'm so thankful to have found them.

I’ve been going here for years and honestly the care they provide keeps declining. They have horrible office hours that are hard for the working adult to schedule around. Also typically run late and use the excuse “it happens.” One time even had an NP say, “well you work in healthcare you know what it’s like...” I’ve never made someone wait an hour before receiving care. Don’t belittle our profession. They have also become stricter with over the phone prescriptions even when there aren’t available appointments (that work with my schedule) for over a month. I have finally decided to go elsewhere for care. This run-down office is just looking to make a buck.

My wife visited there today and was meet with one of the rudest non compassionate people she had ever met. As soon as she looked at my wife’s charts she made the assumption that she was there just drug seeking. My wife deals with anxiety and only wanted helped and ended up leaving feeling belittled. I not sure how the Nurse Practioner got her job but she need to learn some soft skills!!!! I would not send my worst enemy to this place to be treated like that. People do have real life issues and need help not someone judging them before they even know them. DO NOT GO SEE Sally!!!!! My wife will not be going back there and I hope if you are making a choice on someplace that would help you that you do not choose here.

I honestly wish I could give this place negative stars I went disregarding the reviews but after seeing sally I left crying! I’ve never been so humiliated in my life it was insult after insult. I would rather drive 3 hours to my old psychiatrist then to ever go back here again.

I see Deenah and think she is wonderful. This is a compassionate, honest and highly skilled office of people. It is not always easy to find honesty in Psychiatry but these guys are not in it for the big $ because they are so fairly priced and are not out to rip people off. So glad I found a great office finally ❤️

My 1st appointment at this office may be my last. The front desk staff was professionally inviting. As for my visit, I was seen by a NP. I assumed that there would've been a more extensive review of my medical history, or something more extensive prior to a "diagnosis" and prior to be given a script for meds, but I'm not the Doc. My visit started off with more of the NP assuming, rather than generally asking me questions, & me correcting those assumption's . I felt as if the 1st few mins. of questions came with conviction. Each question was asked with an assumed answer on her behalf. Which was all based on her assumption of me. However, there was a change in her attitude towards the end of my visit, but the sad thing is, that it was only after I was asked about my level education, and after I corrected all of assumptions made by her towards me, including her question, "Does your children all have different fathers?" If that question is even relevant to my visit, it should've been a general question, allowing me to answer, without having a clue of what she assumed my answer was. (My husband of 12+ years, is the father of my children.) I was offended! My culture was also insulted, Although hers doesn't differ much from mine,(Caribbean) I was told "well no wonder.....". That to me seemed very unprofessional, & made me feel less than in her eyes.I just don't approve of how that information was received. I also felt as if I had to prove myself in order to be seen as a person seeking help, rather than being generalised, or judged by her. Mental illness, mental well being, mental health, the overall well being of the mind is very important to me. A book should never be judged by its cover. Again, once all assumptions of me were cleared up, the rest of my time spent in the office was brief. I have no desire to return to this office. The initial attitude from the NP was very unprofessional. What bothers me the most is that I see the possibility of her hindering others from getting further help, which is truly sad because it is difficult enough for some to take that first step. I just don't feel that The Happy Mind Company is a good fit for me.

Dr. Napolitano has been treating my son (high functioning autistic, ADHD and anxiety) for over six years now and we are so thankful for all she has done for us. She is always very careful to only make one medication change at a time and really listens to us regarding how he is doing. She was also instrumental in getting my son released from a Baker Act facility that his SRO in middle school sent him to, despite knowing he was receiving treatment and has many issues on top of puberty hitting at that time. She is always available for us no matter what is happening.

I've seen a number of mental health providers in the cities I've lived in, and unfortunately Deenah was one of the worst. She wasn't thorough with my assessment (missed very basic mental health-related questions every other provided would ask) and lacked compassion entirely. She made numerous incorrect assumptions about my life and history, repeatedly interrupted me, and seemed to imply that I was there seeking drugs (I repeatedly told her I was not interested in stimulants under any circumstances). I was mostly seeking therapy to which she told me no one there "would help me" whatever that means (even though they employ therapists). She even recommended I switch CBD for pharmaceutical meds. If you're looking for someone compassionate and willing to listen/help, Deenah isn't the one.

Now in PPOCD/PPD thanks to Deenah!!! Pushed me out with no follow up, just Don't come back until after the baby. Don't come here for continuation of therapy, help, compassion, or respect. I have went here for several years. I followed my RNP, from another practice who had empathy and understanding. When she left, I was not contacted but changed to a different RNP. I saw her for about a year n a half. Yet again, a change without notice. This time, I was met with contempt, disbelief, and disrespect. My conditions are not a choice. My traumas are very real. My lifelong struggles need not be met with such anxiety about appointments NECCESSARY FOR MY ABILITY TO THRIVE!!! Always snide comments about meds I had been stable on for many years. Complaints about having to write my scripts, and encouraged to use non regulated, unapproved natural products with unproven efficacy, purity and standardization issues, interactions, long term ill effects, contamination, and the all too often safety discontinuations by governing agencies. Those were my first line before seeking help. To hazardly suggest such things to a pregnant women could be very dangerous. I am now postpartem with overwhelming hoplessness, guilt, anxiety, tripled ADD, continued insomnia, and fear of inability to care for baby. I will NEVER go back here and am fearfull I will be met with same care elsewhere. Be careful with this practice... They do not care about your wellbeing.

I am so thankful to have found The Happy Mind Company! 2018 was pure hell for me both physically and mentally and so far 2019 has been traumatic as I feel lost when it comes to understanding my mental health and why I’ve been feeling so much anxiety and depression. Last year I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, told I had maybe three good years and a tumor that was inoperable as it had grown into the cavernous sinus. I went to The Mayo Clinic praying for help. The exceptional Surgeons at Mayo found a way to surgically remove most of the tumor. It’s been a few months now and I am on several meds two of which are creating havoc mentally for me. I’ve had bouts of rage, diagnosed by Mayo Psychiatry as having Major Depression and Anxiety secondary to the medications and damage the tumor has done and I ended up with a jackass of a Psychaitrist here in Orlando....Dr. Sonny Joseph (run far far away from this guy pleassssse!) A CVS pharmacist who I’ve trusted for years turned me on to The Happy Mind Company because she knew they RX one drug at a time and make sure it works before adding or changing dosage vs. sending you on your way with a buffet of pills to swallow in hopes the “recipe” works. She also mentioned she has never seen an unsafe drug combination or scrip come from them. My first appointment was with Deenah and she just like Dr. Napolitano is beyond excellent. She took the time to review the medical records I brought from The Mayo Clinic and my recent bloodwork. Helped me understand what was going on with the medicines I’m having to take to replace Cortisol and Testosterone and explained my options to me with a focus on using the least amount of medication necessasary to help me feel normal again. I really appreciate Deenah so much for caring to take the time to get it right. Because I have secondary adrenal insufficiency she wanted me to follow up with Dr. Napolitano at my next visit. Dr. Napolitano is also excellent. She listens and takes the time to get it right and it’s evident that she really cares about her patients. Because of my run in with Dr. Sonny Joseph and the four meds he rx’d after meeting with me for three mins and the fact that the pharmacist refused to fill his concoction with my best interest in mind my surgeons at Mayo wanted me to get the chart notes from The Happy Mind Company to ensure they felt comfortable with the care and medication I was prescribed. Dr. Mohit Chauhan, M.B.B.S the Psychiatry Dept. Chair at The Mayo Clinic said he felt 100% comfortable with the treatment plan Deenah and Dr. Napolitano put together for me. Medication along with therapy and absolutely zero polypharmacy from the start. Dr. Chauhan commented that he could not have wished for a more competent Psychaity Practice to take over my care in Orlando then The Happy Mind Company based on his review of my medical records and our discussion. Dr. Chauhan made a few recommendations on how to proceed going forward as he manages care on a daily basis for patients undergoing similar surgery to mine with secondary adrenal failure and adverse symptoms caused by the meds I need to simply live. Dr. Napolitano was completely open to his input. I’ll miss Marianne (therapist) who has since moved to New Hampshire as she too helped me thru this crisis of trying to find peace and thrive knowing I’ll be on live saving medications that impact my mental well being for the rest of my life. If you want a team of true professionals who really care about you as a patient and a person you owe it to yourself to give The Happy Mind Company a try. If my story isn’t convincing enough then perhaps knowing The Chief of Psychaitry at the number one medical clinic in the world (The Mayo Clinic) stands behind my choice for mental health care will help you decide to give these ladies the opportunity to help you! Ali and Melanie (The ladies who answer the phones and make things happen are awesome too!) polite, helpful and they always try hard to work you in if you need an appointment even though their schedule may be full.

I love the doctor, Dr. Napolitano. Unsatisfied with practitioners and front desk. Practitioner arrived to the office 10 minutes past our appointment time (first of the day) and I was called back 20 minutes after. Rude front desk staff.

I’m not very impressed by the nurse practitioners within this practice. I’m a medical provider myself and can tell you they do the bare minimum while billing the maximum for their services. I’ve never actually met the medical doctor herself so I can’t speak about her as a clinician. I won’t be returning. I have colleagues that work in primary care that know more about behavioral health than the practitioners that work here.

Please do not go here if you can help it. I was seeing Sally for the first time and she was 10 minutes late to a 30 minute appointment where I was there 15 minutes early. Then when I finally was able to see her she was very rude. She didn't look at me and asked me very short and rudely toned questions. I was telling her that I was diagnosed as bi-polar but was recently thinking I was have border line personality when she rudely said "Well what do you want us to do?! I can't change anything" I was so upset, and walked out. I asked the front desk for money back, and as I was standing there Sally, slammed her hand on the desk and shouted, in front of guest in the lobby, "GIVE HER HER MONEY BACK. SHE'S NOT BIPOLAR ANYMORE" Which, one was so rude because I was asking to get diagnosed and I was very uncertain. I do not understand why you would work in the mental health field if you don't want to help people. I can not speak about anyone else but do not see Sally. I've been seeing doctors, therapist, nurses for over 13 years, and I have never been treated so poorly in such a short amount of time. And what's more frustrating is that I waited 3 weeks to see them while I am in desperate need of a psychiatrist.

I have Never felt more Humiliated and Insulted than when speaking to a doctor here. She was very rude and hostile from the moment she started speaking to me all while constantly trying to speak over me then she would accuse me of not letting her speak and harrasing her. People come to a doctor for help, this psyciatrist treated me like a drug addict and used insults and threats every other sentence. She also asked prying quesions that no other doctor has ever asked me before. ( my living arrangements and parents sex life when i was 7 years old has nothing to do with my adhd in addition to that i also had to explain to this Doctor how my sister is legally my sister even tho i am adopted and what step siblings really are and how there is a difference between being step sibiling and being adopted) than finding myself befuddled by the shear amount of information she was giving me i would ask why she needs all this? Which she would become hostily defensive about how much this drug is abused and how much the state regulates it now and how it “ isnt 2016 anymore”. After all the harrasment she wrote me a prescription for a different medication than the one i came in for and treated it like she was sticking her neck out to give me it even tho ive been prescriped for this condition since i was 8 years old. I feel sick and disgusted after my experience here, i have never met a more arrogant and condescending person let alone a licensed doctor. I have never once been inclined to write a review before and although the receptionist was very friendly and helpful 1 star because you cant give zero.

Have been going to this facility for nearly 2 years now and do not have a single negative comment. The staff is always very understanding and as someone who suffers from severe anxiety it is not always easy for me to make it in and they work around my schedule every time. Maybe I am just lucky to work with Mary-ann and the staff I interact with but I would recommend anyone reading this go here. I would speak higher of the other staff too but since I only deal with Mary-Ann I cannot.
