Dr. Gluszak saw my oldest daughter in high school and through the beginning of college until he felt it was not in her best interest to manage her care from 4 hours away, which was the most professional thing to do, for both her and him. He did not abandon her however, and was always available for her when she needed him. His office manager and wife Joanna is extremely responsive to calls and emails. You get very personal interactions from both of them. My middle daughter was seeing a different psychiatrist (whom she never actually saw more than once, only saw his PA) who just one month without any warning stopped taking our insurance. She decided to call Dr. Gluszak’s office and Joanna got her in quicker than any other doctor would, and put her on a cancellation list because she (Joanna) was concerned that her medication would run out. I have no doubt Dr. Gluszak will do his best to take care of her. He helped my oldest daughter immensely and was always very easy to reach when we needed him for an emergency. He truly cares about his patients, as does Joanna. As a parent (who has sat in on many appointments), I recommend him highly.

Dr. Gluszak is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever seen as I've been seeing different ones for 10 years before I came across him. I'm blessed to have been his patient for the past 6 years and he has literally changed my life around. I'm very stable on my meds and can actually function successfully and efficiently at work now. He is a very thorough doctor who really knows his stuff. He spends more than enough time with you unlike most other psychiatrists. He wants to make sure he gets you on the right medications. He's compassionate and very knowledgeable in his field. He actually takes different insurance plans as well which I've come to find is very rare in the state of FL. Most psychiatrists in this area only take private pay and give horrible service, always rushing their patients out. I rarely ever take the time to give reviews, but he's worth it as he's changed my life and I believe he can change yours too. I just wish I could have found him sooner and for those of you who need this kind of help will have to look no further after you meet him.

5/5 stars. Great doctor, I find him very personable, and very professional. Compassionate and caring is my experience with him. I have seen a number of MDs over the years and find him the most influential to the stability in my life. His office always calls me back or responds to emails. The low star ratings by the other reviews are confusing for me because I find him opposite. I could see other MD's closer to me, but would rather go to a small practice like this one where you are more than just a number. I don't know where I would be without him.He has changed my life. I would highly recommend him.

He is a great doctor. Always takes the time to listen, and really cares about his patients. I feel comfortable talking to him, and never feel rushed. I feel he's very knowledgeable about my conditions and takes the time to explain any questions I might have in a way that I can understand, which is extremely important to me. My previous doctor would rush appointments and wouldn't take the time to actually listen to me. I'm very happy now with Dr. Gluszaks care, as he hasn't done that. His assistant is a very polite woman who has always been prompt with scheduling/ easy to contact. The office is a very warming environment, and I've never had to wait past my scheduled time to be seen.

This Doctor is very rude and when I was telling him about my child's symptoms, he should have told me at the very beginning at she is not a good fit at his practice that she needs higher level of care. Yet he wasted my whole hour just to tell me he won't accept my child as his patient. Moreover, he kept criticize the psychiatrist my child is seeing right now saying he does not have her on the right medication. I think he was more interested in getting paid by my insurance that why he wasted the whole hour just to say "NO". He is very unprofessional.

He was very short with my sons telling him not to touch the pens on is desk (for patients to use) because "they are very expensive little boy." No office staff. Wife makes appointments from home and you go to an office he shares with an insurance salesman. He is the only person in the office. He "prefers cash or check" for your copayment that you must pay before he will speak to you, citing that the credit card company charges for using the machine and he didn't get rich giving his money away." Wow.

I called regarding services listed on website. The person who answered the phone was not aware of the services offered by the office she worked in. When I requested the office mgr she advised she was the office mgr. Very unprofessional which created the impression of a non trust worthy environment.

Dr. Gluszak is a very skilled and competent psychopharmacologist and psychotherapist. I entrust him with the psychiatric care of many of the patients I see in psychotherapy. He is highly recommended in the Tampa area.

Oh, and if you make an appointment and miss a phone call from them to confirm the appointment, don't waste your time going. They have already canceled your appointment and filled it. That's their policy they say. What a stupid policy. If I call and make an appointment, I am coming. If I can't make it , I'll be the one to cancel , not you. If you don't get the confirmation that you like, you cancel your patients appointment? Who does that? Unprofessional, Poor management and lack of desire to help are all under statements.
