Very caring, and accurate. Has mad a difference!

The receptionist is rude and shows no empathy, something extremely important if you are working at a psychiatry place. She made a mistake of telling me that they don't take my insurance, when in reality they actually did. She did no attempt at trying to find out if there was some kind of change to this for this new year. I struggled so much trying to find a new place and I call back and come to find out THEY DO TAKE ME INSURANCE! So i went through all this trouble calling different places for DAYS trying to set up new appointments. I express to her how It's annoying to find this out and AGAIN no empathy or "I'm sorry for the mistake".

The office staff helped with billing, insurance questions and concerns I had. For the most part it wasn’t difficult to set up an appt. Dr Parvez addressed and then followed up my treatment making sure it was effective.

Barbara Newman

Finally found a caring, nearby psychiatrist (Dr. Saleh Parvez) willing and able to work with SMI that takes the time and effort to include the caregiver in the treatment plan. So many psychiatrists in the area will not even accept difficult complex cases or spend more than 5 minutes with you or are unwilling or unable to provide oversight treatments such as clozapine. Finding Dr. Saleh Parvez has been the silver lining to finding the right combination of medications that has brought peace to our home. The modern office is never crowded and you get the attention you appreciate from the doctor and the office staff. We are very grateful circumstances led us to this practice.

A family member of mine was a new patient here. The worst customer service from Shannon, we had an emergency come up and had to cancel our appointment. Shannon was very rude to us and said she would not waive the $40 fee and would rather lose a new patient and then hung up on me. Very disappointed we spent our money on this terrible place!

Highly recommended. I just saw Dr. Parvez for a new patient consultation (I had to switch psychiatrists due to my insurance plan) and I am very pleased. She took the time to do a thorough history and I never felt rushed. A+

Lisa Collazo

Terrible experience. The doctor doesn’t care about her patients. She’s there to prescribe and collect.

Great doctor!! Nice experience!!

Chitaru Namatame

I've seen two different doctors here and felt rushed and not taken seriously by both. I approached both about wanting to get a diagnosis/evaluation on a lot of personally concerning symptoms and was told I seem like a normal happy person by one and asked existential questions and showed the door by the other. They rush you out in 10 minutes or less and just refill your Rx. Don't go here if you want anything beyond that. The front desk staff was consistently rude as well.

Cassaundra Grimm

Read the other one star reviews. Those sum it up rather well.

Please please please take what I'm saying serious. Please don't ever go to this place. We move a lot because of my husbands job. I've seen 4 different psychiatrist in my life that where great. I went to.see the woman doctor. I forgot her name. I've never been so belittled and humiliated in my life. She was so awful to me. She for no reason was going to pull my off meds. I tried talking very nicely to her and about my issues. She had not one care in the world. I switched to an amazing new psychiatrist. She said a lot of her patients came from this facility because of the way they where treated. My sitter goes to her and she said also, how horrible she is to her and loud and mean. She has her so doped up on lithium she passed out the other day because she increased her dosage. And my sitter is a good person and not crazy. She has her on zoloft as well. I've never in my life experienced anything like this. Im giving everyone the best advice to never go here. They are quacks, and horrible to patients with mental issues. If anyone needs the number to my psychiatrist I'm more then willing to give it out. She's wonderful. But I beg you not to to go there. And that's a strong word, beg!!! Please, it's for your health and safety. Theses people should be reported. I'm not one to ever rat people out or post a bad review. This is my first time ever posting a bad review on anything. This is how serious I'm. Bad bad bad place. Please don't even consider this place. How they are given 5 star ratings is beyond me. Im not bad mouthing the people who posted good about them. But I've heard from several people Andy doctor how bad they are. How she's still.in business baffles me. Lie I said.... I will help anyone out with info to my doctor.

This place is a joke! This place cares only about money! The list of what they charge for is ridiculous. Turn patients away because they aren't able to pay there co-pay, or because you don't give up your debit/credit card information for them to keep on file for them to charge whenever they please. The billing manager Mr Hart has absolutely no compassion or care, he says you have to pay or we can't see you until you do. There is no other option pay or get out! Don't waste your time. Your money and time are more valuable then this place.

Neena Figueroa

I was to become a new patient and I set up and appointment but unfortunately I was unable to make it. I received a reminder phone call from the receptionist Shannon on Wednesday 10/09/18 @ 2:51, As I was trying to reschedule I noticed that her tone was very rude and annoyed. When I asked "Are you annoyed that you have to speak with me? because you sound very disturbed that you have to help me with my reschedule", When she replied she was very disgusting in her response for lack of a better word. Needless to say this staff has ruined this facility and I will not attend. People come here to seek aid with stress in there lives and to recievce horrible treatment from staff is quite unsettling. Lost a patient for life.

DrParvez is knowledgeable and caring, I would not recommend another psychiatrist in Florida, keep up the good work, thank you

Dr.S.Parvez really took extra time and effort to ensure I was comfortable! I TRULY appreciate that! She was down to earth and even shared personal insight! She has altered my perspective on the field of psychiatry! Thank you!

Eduardo Martinez

Sherin S. Parvez is an amazing psychiatrist. She is very understanding, and she worked with me to come up with the best solutions to my concerns. She is not stubborn like my psychiatrist before. She really seems to care about her patients.

Kasea Bishop

Excellent place

Joseph Lorello

The staff is great and very helpful and make you feel at home and the atmosphere in the office is very calming and relaxing and the head psychiatrist is very pleasant and very very knowledgeable! She really helped me with my meds and explained everything to me and and she's also very pleasant to look at also! If she wasn't a doctor she could have been a movie star! But I'm glad she's a doctor cause she's great at it!!!

Alejandro Arcila

Dr. Parvez is very knowledgeable and friendly, she shows that she cares and gives you great advice on different aspects of your treatment.

Dr. Parvez saved my life. I was baker acted several years ago due to suicidal thoughts. I suffer from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. I have seen creatures walking around my room, shadows of figures behind doors, in mirrors, next to me, etc. I've heard voices since I was kid, and have seen "ghosts" and "demons" since I was 6 years old (born 1989). Around 2016, I decided I had enough of the suffering, having seen multiple doctors and getting terrible results every time. It was time to end my life. Dr. Parvez was my designated psychiatrist when I was in the mental hospital (from the baker act, I mentioned earlier). He was rushed, because he had many patients to see that day, but he took the time to listen to my story, and he immediately gave me meds that was able to help me. I've been seeing Dr. Parvez for roughly 3 years now (I wrote this review in 2019). I have my job back (I lost it around the same time I got baker acted), as a programmer. My family is less stressed out by my presence, and I'm content with every day-to-day living. I'm rebuilding lost/old relationships. I still have episodes, now and again, HOWEVER, they are *nowhere* near as intense, and they last for minutes, instead of days/weeks/months. I want to live the rest of my life, now. I want to continue programming, eventually become a teacher, and then a professor late in my life. If I had taken my life, and never met Dr. Parvez, I wouldn't have the dreams, goals, love, content-ness, and stability that I have now. This is the first review I've ever written. I saw that Silver Lining Psychiatry only had ~2 or ~3 stars. When I read the reviews, I noticed many people that just want to be heard, and want/need the help they've been longing for, like me. All I can say is, I know it's frustrating; I know it's painful; I know what it feels like to feel misunderstood, and not get the treatment you expected -- but please, *please*, remember -- Dr. Parvez, and everyone at Silver Lining Psychiatry WANT to help you. Give every doctor and secretary *multiple* chances before writing a review. If you write a review on first impressions alone (which many people seem to do in these types of review apps), then you're not really providing the community with an in-depth review of the service you are attempting to use. The secretaries and doctors are human, too. They will have bad days. They will have people yelling at them, and then expected to wear a smile on their face after these encounters. Their job in mental health is HARD and DIFFICULT. Please don't judge them so quickly. These people are trying the best they can, with what resources they have. Thank you, Dr. Parvez, and the rest of the crew at Silver Lining Psychiatry. Without you, I would not be alive today, and I would not have been able to leave this review for everyone to see you guys are awesome. Thank you for saving and giving my life back to me. Regards, Carlos P.S. I apologize for any grammatical errors -- I am a programmer after-all, hahaha.

I saw the female Dr. She didn't continue me on the medication I've been on for years. She tried to push a brand medication very aggressively that I didn't want or need. She would ask questions and not listen to the answer, or start talking over me. I've never felt so insignificant in my life. My boyfriend went with me the last time and he made me leave. He was shocked at her behavior. I would not recommend this office at all.

I took my teenage son here and saw Dr. Donna. She is the NP in the Oviedo office. She was so laid back and very disarming. This was the first time my son has made a connection with a doctors office in a long time. Donna was down to earth and real. She explained things very well and pointed out things we had not noticed before. After only one visit, my son and I were armed with information necessary and finally a direction to follow. I am so glad I found this brand new office. The guy at the front desk, Jacob, was excellent too. Very professional but yet laid back. I am so glad we found this group. Thank you Dr. Donna for making such a great impression. We are looking forward to our next appointment.

Amanda Roth

What stopped me from visiting this office was the receptionist, honestly. From my first visit to my last, she was consistently rude, and I've tried to be patient and brush it off the best that I could thinking maybe she was stressed or having bad days but a year of being talked down to is enough. I'm not wasting my time, money, or gas, driving 45 minutes away from my home for a 7 to 15 minute appointment that could have easily been done over the phone to have medicine increased 25 mgs each month and treated like an incompetent child when I check in. I will say, Dr. Parvez was very nice and professional with me, she always listened to my concerns with my medications and side effects and worked her best to find the best fit for me, but it was a painfully slow process. After a year, I can't say I feel all that much better than when I started seeing Dr. Parvez but I also feel like I needed someone to really talk with and now I've found a psychiatrist who will sit and talk with you and get to know you, but to be fair, Dr. Parvez tried to stay very punctual with her appointments so that is probably why she maintained her appointments to a minimum session. I'm not saying she is an awful doctor by any means, but she is conservative in her practice, and she will take your medications very slowly, she will listen to your concerns, she is polite and professional as a provider and overall, I really did like her as a person, I just don't think that she was the proper psychiatrist for my personality and needs, which is fine, nothing personal. I will say, and I hope she does read these reviews, please do get a new receptionist, it is painfully obvious she is driving away your business and you have the ability to keep patients happy I'm sure. The final straw for me was my last visit when your receptionist made me cry before I came back before my final appointment and I was on complete edge when I last saw you. No one who pays for services especially psychiatric services, at that, deserves so much disrespect and blatant unkindness. If she truly is that miserable at that office, she should be at a different occupation.

Dr Parvez yelled at me and accused me of hallucinating object and people when I only hear voices. She has very limited knowledge of medications. She didn’t even know that lithium can dehydrate you.

Jithwara Alagiyawadu

Very Nice Doctor.

Worst experience I have ever had at any kind of office. The only way I can describe the front desk girl is like a 16 year old girl mad at their mom for not letting her date a boy... and I was the mom. Except she wasn't 16, she was in her 30s. Their website shows that you can email in your paperwork, so I did. Then upon arriving they asked me to fill it out again, so I let them know that I emailed it and and she said "well I didn't get it" and walked away. On the paperwork they make you write pen to paper all of your credit card info, including the security code, etc. I was in their office at 1:30 for a 2:00 appointment, I ended up being asked to leave at 3:00 without being seen because I was on hold with my insurance while they hashed out the fact that I do have coverage with silver lining's billing department that was trying to say that my coverage ended in July... my insurance card showed the start date as 10/05/18. In that phone call the office told cigna that they do balance billing (meaning they charge the full appointment cost up front every time) because they don't trust their patients to pay, despite that being a breach of their provider contract with cigna. There is now a cigna customer care complaint made by the cigna rep against the office. When I finally asked for my paperwork back because I was leaving and it had all of my credit card information on it and I wouldn't be using their practice, I was told I wasn't allowed to have my papers back. Then I asked for it to be shredded and she said "sure" and then just sat there and stared at me. I asked if she could do it now while I'm standing there and she scoffed at me and walked over and dropped it in the shredder, put on a fake smile and said "there" and then sat down and started eating. I can't steer you away from this office fast enough.

Wow. Do not waste your beautiful time. Firstly, I’m a Director at Quest Diagnostics. Not only was Shannon (useless secretary) unwelcoming, she could not wait to tell me that I was late. Secondly, I never received any appointment reminders. I made the appointment IN THE BEGINNING OF APRIL, (Appt May 6th) and I did not realize I had to be there until I was on a conference call. My work calendar had the reminder written down. Immediately, I rushed to this dump and was only 5 mins late. I APOLOGIZED!! Lastly, my insurance plan changed because my company chose the wrong plan. I was unaware; moreover, to Shannon’s immediate PLEASURE, she couldn’t wait to inform that my insurance was “terminated.” I was puzzled because I’ve NEVER had that happen; however, this inconsiderate “professional” rudely said, “Well, you’re already late so you can either make another appointment or leave. You would have already been seen already, but you’re late.” I even apologized for being late! I left and of course my insurance was fixed immediately. Do NOT come here. I found an amazing psychiatrist in Windermere. This place lacks professionalism. This is Winter Garden, not PINE HILLS!! PLEASE UTILIZE APPOINTMENT REMINDERS AND PROFESSIONALISM!

Patrick Lowery

I definitely recommend this place. This comes from a person that don't like going to what I consider doctors offices. At first I was uncomfortable, but my Health Care Provider Donna W. Adair gave me a sense of comfort and treated me like she really care. She really wanted to address my needs and didn't rush the process like other places. I definitely will recommend this establishment to others.

lpdnyc

Terrible office staff. Rude and entitled. Also asked for me to put my credit card in on a written form. That is a big no for me. With all of the credit card fraud out there, I don’t think this is good for anyone to ask for.

Vicky Levesque

I would like to recommend Silver Lining Psychiatry. Dr. Sharin Parvez is very kind and knowledgeable. I have been to several Psychiatrists in the Orlando area, and I find her particularly easy to talk to. I never feel rushed. When she gives or adjusts medication she explains the benefits. She also asks (at the next visit) if the recommended dosage was good, how are you sleeping, etc. I find her attentive as well as professional and personable. To me, the best Psychiatrists are knowledgeable about the right dosage of medicines, ask good questions and are intuitive and caring. Dr. Parvez has all of these qualities. That’s why I gave Silver Lining 5 stars!

After the series of misfortunes that I have experienced being a client at silver lining, from being used as a test subject for their new medicines, being misdiagnosed several different times and prescribed so many different medications I have decided to discontinue using silver lining as they have been very unfair and corrupt in their business practices. They don't listen to anything anybody has to say. They just stick a labeled diagnosis on you so they can make their money on prescriptions on the back end. When I went in for my most recent appointment, after not going for several months because of my poor experience, I finally decided to go to get a ESA letter, they tried to force prescriptions onto me after denying them several times and told me it would cost $100 ONTOP of my copay and whatever the insurance company paid for the appointment. This is a very poor business practice because most of these psychiatrist are being paid upwards of $100 per hour by insurance and I was only there for 15 minutes and I'm asking her to spend 5 minutes of her times writing a 2 sentence letter and have had nothing but problems. I went to my boyfriend's psychiatrist and had my letter in less than a hour and only paid my copay for the appointment. They tried to tell me a additional $100 for the letter plus 3-5 business days. These guys are a joke. Avoid at all cost.

Dr. Sherin Parvez is a very caring and well educated in the many aspects of psychology/psychiatry. She takes all the time you need and asks questions to help learn as much as she can in order to help you find out what is best for you and your health.

An absolute joke. Avoid like the plague. Incredibly rude and condescending. Did not attempt to diagnose me, refused to prescribe an emotional support animal but was willing to give me pills. A perfect example of the sorry state of affairs that modern medicine has become. Parvez is glorified drug dealer who should be ashamed to call herself a medical professional.

The doctor is okay, but sometimes I think that she more interesting in money than people. About her front office assistant, I never meet someone more rude than this woman, she was so pathetic, seriously don’t expect nothing nice from her..

YOU GUYS ARE GREAT & I WILL ALWAYS RECOMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE WHO ASKS ME..... ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU...... DR PARVEZ YOU ARE TRULY A GREAT DR......

I did not have an opportunity to go to an appointment here. After scheduling the appointment the secretary called to confirm the appointment, during this confirmation she informed me that my newborn would not be able to accompany me to the appointment despite the appointment being for PPD. I said "okay, then I need to cancel the appointment, do I need..." And she said "OK." And hung up on me. I was trying to confirm that my medical records which I sent to them would be shredded/I would not be charged but instead she just hung up on me. When attempting to call back she'd just answer and hang up without even saying "hello." To answer the phone. Stay away from this office .

The lady at the front desk with giant mole on nose was extremely rude and difficult for no reason.....it was so bad i decided to walk out instead of give them my business and mind you I’m usually a very laid back person. Long story short do yourself a favor and go somewhere else...anywhere else.

I have plenty of experience with other offices and never have been treated so horribly. Lady at front desk is super rude and unprofessional she needs to be fired immediately no idea how she’s still employed there. If i could give this negative stars i would. Never ever ever returning here again.

Jovanna Salerno

If I could give this place no stars I would. Absolutely terrible. Receptionists are incredibly rude and sigh whenever they answer the phone. The male Dr I had made me feel like an IDIOT and would look at me weird. I suggest he gets new hair product to fix his balding problem before he tries to fix anyone else problems. DO NOT GO HERE!!! xx

John DiBuono

I have been attending for close to a year now, and it is easy to say Dr. Parvez changed my life for the better. Quick and incredibly accurate diagnosis, little to no wait time, competent staff, and very friendly. Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt, I honestly have nothing negative to say. Dr. Parvez's accent can be tough at times to understand, but does not pose any issue.

David McCarthy

Terrible staff, and uncaring doctors. I was informed that I was to be backcharged a large amount of money for "therapy" that I was not receiving, unless prescribing medications and shuffling me out the door as quickly as possible can be considered a therapy session. When I asked the front desk why I was being charged, she said she didn't know and I should ask the doctor. When I asked the doctor, she said she didn't know and I should ask at the front desk. She was nice enough to offer her services as my therapist though, which was funny at least. The front desk then said I needed to call the billing manager. The billing manager waa rude and defiant and finally dropped the bogus charges after a week of phone tag. I also didn't appreciate being lied to and told that there suddenly wasn't any availability until the next year when they decided to drop me. If you like being treated like a walking credit card and bubbles on a multiple-choice form rather than a person then 10/10

Ashley McWilliams

Dr. Parvez has played an exceptional role in my life with getting me on the right medication at this point in my life. She is patient, knowledgeable and does what is right for the patient. Her soft spoken nature has a very calming effect on me, which is greatly necessary. I would recommend anyone who wants the best for their mental health state to choose Dr. Parvez as she will provide what is best for you. Thank you Silver Lining Psychiatry.

Frank Chietro

Dr. Sheehan Parvez is outstanding and I feel very comfortable during our visits. She is very knowledgeable and took the proper procedure in handling my situation. I would definitely recommend her!

Lindsay B

Dr. Parvez is a fantastic physician. She really listens to what you have to say, is very fair and genuinely cares about her patients. Highly recommend!

I went in for an interview that was scheduled for 4:50 PM arrived at 4:45 and left at 5:45 without being interviewed or even an excuse as to why they were running behind schedule.

salma Saya

Please do your research carefully before you end up in this facility I made the mistake to go with them because they take my insurance I didn’t do any extensive research regarding the doctor she was very disconnected and it felt that she just wanted to push this new drug on the market more like a business other than somebody was concerned about your health apparently the drug she gave me was for depression which I don’t have I went into check for ADD and ADHD so she just decided to prescribe me a medication for depression it put me out for over 24 hours and when I called back she said that I need to go get a screening done which she could have done on the first place instead of just prescribing me a drug for a disorder that I don’t have just to push some new drug I think that’s the job of a pharmaceutical sales rep not an MD

Cyndi Casnet

Silver Lining was able to get my husband in on the same day I called...he saw Dr. Benjamin Mann and he was amazing, very caring and wanting to help him. My husband was really appreciative for your help.

I’ve been coming to pervez for the past year now and she’s been helping me overcome my anxiety and panic disorder with the right medication. She definitely is the best clinic I’ve ever been too. He actually projects his demeanor as if he cares about your issues and not as a ‘glorified drug-dealer’ (as many would call these type of establishments).

Wanda Walker

I read all the reviews about Silver Lining and was hesitant to give it a try. Bottom line, you have to experience an establishment for yourself. My experience was very positive from the office staff to the Nurse Practitioner that I meet with. I would definitely recommend Silver Lining Psychiatry.

Adrianna Introini

Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at an office. The receptionists where incredibly rude and disorganized, they refused to request my medical records and it took three days for me to even get ahold of someone about it! Not only that, they had no room for me to meet with the actual doctor and I was scheduled with their assistant instead. I never actually made it to my appointment because there is another Silver Lining address on google maps with the same phone number and I went to that location instead. Upon realizing that, I called to inform them I would be ten minutes late to the appointment and was told they would reschedule me because being ten minutes late would “set the entire office behind”. I immediately started looking for a new doctor! If the experience I had with reception was so ghastly I can only imagine what the doctor was like.

L C

Love the new doctor that just joined! She is very understanding, friendly and listens to you. She even held my hand to help me walk to her office. I was in a lot of pain that day. The secretary in the front is very knowledgeable and very friendly to me each time I visit. I would recommend the office to everyone

To proclaim YOU PEOPLE are a disappointment would be the UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR!!! YOU WOULDN'T SEE ME...BECAUSE I WOULDN'T ALLOW Silver Lining Psychiatry TO >>>KEEP<<< A RECORD OF MY CREDIT CARD TO USE WHENEVER Silver Lining Psychiatry WANTED TO?!? YOU people are THE SICK ONES!!!!! AND..AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS...I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND WHY THERE'S NO WAITING LIST TO SO SEE 'THE DOCTOR!" "The doctor will see you now...!" NO THANKS!!!! I just relocated and needed a new dr. I’ve been to many physiatrists and she was literally the worst experience I’ve had thus far. She made me feel helpless and belittled me. At one point she said she was ending my session with no refund. I was so frustrated by her words and facial expressions as she sat there with no shoes on in what is supposed to be a professional environment. She was loud, extremely rude and and ignorant to my mental health. She refused to write me scripts for meds I had been on for years and claimed I wouldn’t withdraw from them. That was so crazy to hear seeing as how I’ve withdrew from them before and it wasn’t good. I do not recommend this doctor!

My husband has been struggling with severe anxiety and depression. He went here and the doctor immediately insulted him about not know his dosage. He has never taken medications regularly untill recently, plus he is dyslexic so he has a harder time remembering names. In a 20 minutes time frame she made my husband feel insulted and uncomfortable, accused him of not wanting to get better because he didn't remember the dosage of his medicine, and decided to up his dosage he just started taking. If you want to spend 200 dollars to be insulted and drugged up this is the place for you.

Judy Byers

You’re not fostering trust by the bait and switch tactic of advertising the availability of people who are not available - your website offers services of people who are not an option. Poor grammar, broken links: your business seems unstable. I don’t want to start as a new patient not knowing what to expect. The receptionist was understanding of my concerns and refunded both sessions (mine and my son’s) He is top notch, but you will probably lose him to a better boss if you don’t leverage his abilities before he gets too frustrated. Good luck, I realize the challenges and I wish you well.

So my visit to the oviedo office location....I've been struggling with anxiety for time time now so even going I was nervous but I came across people who made me feel like we have been friends for years starting with Jacob at the front desk who is very easy to talk to all the way to DR Donna ,who is the NP which is very nice and answers all questions I had while she took the extra few min to get to know my situation and me not like most that rush you out the door with meds they make it very easy to come back and feel very confident in my ability to overcome anxiety!! A++

I feel the same about the receptionist. She has absolutely no social graces. I despise calling to make an appointment, and now after looking at the reviews, I can see I am not the only one. I have seen about 3 different doctors, the last one being my favorite. However, I have had to come back almost monthly instead of getting a prescription for a few months.

I have only been seeing Dr. Parvez for a short time, but in that time, she made me feel "heard" and she walked me through my options and spent a lot of time doing so. After years of being told this or that and feeling like there has to be something that works, I am finally feeling some relief. In the first few weeks I was taking my prescription, Dr. Parvez upped my dose and I had a reaction. I immediately called the office, within an hour she had my previous dose called into the pharmacy and I was good to go. So far so good!

Most unprofessional psychiatry facility ever experienced. Front office staff has a VERY serious personality disturbance/character disorder. ) It is a danger to potential clients' mental well being as well as privacy issues. The medical staff here needs to be seriously made aware of this. Upon calling to communicate with my practitioner- I discovered the individual was no longer practicing at said facility; and front desk person did not even inform me about it. When I inquired into a new appointment, or asked into a new practioner I was hung up upon. On a routine telephone call/inquiry. This was with no provocation. It was a mere medical inquiry made upon the office staff. Female front office staff person who shall not be named. This is a very extreme unprofessional manner..There is in the works a consideration of a small claims against this practice particularly with consideration to the front office staff. Let it be known today. And also in the future so that the professionals can make staff changes to therefore salvage this practice.

This place is horrible. They make you feel like there's more wrong with you. No matter what you do they write negative notes. They get very aggressive. Can't believe I spent money for such abuse!

The person in the front is very cold and rude. Does not say hello or anything. Just opens her window and asks for the copay. The appt is always running late, last time, well over an hour with no explanation from the desk person. I left work early to get there on time and had to wait this excessive amount. My scripts are maintenance doses, non-narcotic, which my past doctor would prescribe 6 months at a time. This office refuses to do so and will only give 2 months. I am told l need to come in every 2 months to say l am fine and get my refills.

I made a appointment with one of your Drs. First a young PA talks to me she walks out comes back 5 min.later and when I told her I had back surgeries she left the room comes back an DC says 350cash a month to be on subutex and leaves again. Then the Dr comes in and tells me he is not a psychiatrist and he doesn't know where I got my information from. So he said he can't help me but yet I get this questionnaire from Silver Lining Psychiatry group exactly who are you and where are you located because I'm getting conflicting stories

The person who answers the phones sounds like they absolutely hate their job. I have called roughly five times to schedule appointments, reschedule them, and get my prescriptions sent to a pharmacy (five days after I was told it would be sent there -- it was not), and every time I have called, the receptionist is short and curt to the point of being unprofessional. When I went into the office for my appointment, the receptionist was extremely blunt with me -- I was already shaking with nerves, it was my first time at a psychiatrist, and my interaction with her just made me feel uncomfortable. When it came time to pay my bill and I was confused as to why the price was a certain amount, instead of attempting to explain the situation to me, she simply picked up the phone and, without saying anything to me, called the billing department and said, "can you explain to this woman why her bill is so much?" and then shoved the phone at me. I understand that sometimes people have off-days, it happens, but every single interaction I have had in an attempt to liaise with this company has been disappointing and disquieting. The psychiatrist themselves was fine, but the meeting itself was maybe 25 minutes, while I was made to wait in the lobby for over half an hour. I gave them a shot but I really don't think I'll be going again.

I really believe this practice is a money making scheme instead of a legitimate, medical center. They will not give you more than a 3 month prescription without a follow-up appointment even if you don’t feel it necessary to discuss changes with the doctor. In addition to this, the receptionist is incredibly rude. She actually hung up on me during one of our phone calls. I would not waste you time with this center.

Jasmine Yip

They were very kind and understanding, I didn’t feel embarrassed to talk about how I felt. Only complaint would be the front desk lady who barely acknowledges you, she should fix her attitude.

Took my 12 year old daughter to this office due to recent behavior changes. I remained in room while Dr. Parvez asked her a series of yes/no questions. Within 5 minutes she had my daughter completely diagnosed and prescribed meds. It felt like we were completely routine to her & basically "shooed" us off. We were there a total of 15 minutes. This was our first time going to such a place and expected more empathy & care. To make matters worse, it has been a nightmare obtaining a report for school, much less ourselves the parents. After obtaining a 3 sentence "evaluation report" for school, it was signed, Front Desk. I've had to return to her office several times because of this. Furthermore, she charges $75 (aside from the visit fee) for this miserable report where she doesn't even sign her credentials. I would never recommend this place to anyone. By far the worst experience had in any medical field.

This place is a joke i when there to get help and she just prescribe me sleeping pills that's crazy .. and they took 40 $ from my card without my concern. It's not a professional at all don't go there they will still your money....

Dr. P is the sweetest. She always makes me feel welcome.

Jessica Jones

Dr. Parvez is always very patient and kind with me. I've been going here for a few months now after my last psychiatrist retired and was worried about building a relationship with a new doctor, but she makes me feel very comfortable and always assesses my needs.

I cant even begin to tell what a terrible disappoint going to this office was, both locations are just awful. Please find any other place.

Dr Donna Adair & team are true professionals that understand the struggles of individuals seeking psychiatric care and are trained to assist.

I was met with compassion and reassurance that it’s ok to be right where I am knowing that things will get better. I am confident in this after meeting the staff. Thanks.

I have had the worst experience at this psychiatric clinic. Having previously gone to other doctors for my conditions, I have experience with other clinics. Once I moved to Orlando I found this clinic and gave it too much of an opportunity. The clinic staff is very unprofessional, rude, dismissive and treat the patients as stupid and incapable. They treat patients with little patience and have a 48 rather than a 24 hour cancellation period. They keep your credit card information and charge you without warning or explanation. The cancellation fee is $40 which is a high price for someone dealing with mental health related issues linked to their financial struggles. They won’t budge on this at all. The Doctor himself (Dr. Benjamin Mann) was also extremely unprofessional and told me that my mental health issues were do to me not being religious, he stated that the reasons why I felt strong enough to continue living were unstable, and insinuated that my crisis was because I chose to be gay (sexual orientation is not a choice). His temperament when “explaining” this to me was close to yelling and he told me that to disagree was intellectually dishnonest and lazy. He also proclaimed that he didn’t believe in evolution and whoever did was stupid (and I’m supposed to take medications from you?). I told him that my stomach is highly susceptible to most medications and that I tolerate very few of them (so he prescribed three at the same time all with known side effects particularly related to gastrointestinal distress - as explained to me by my new doctor). When I called to explain that my side-effects were making me unable to go to work, the staff was unable to relay the information the first time and told me they would call back. When I called back about 5 hours later, they said they couldn’t call my number because it was from Puerto Rico (I have never had a problem with that as my cell carrier is AT&T). They then told me to stop taking my medication entirely (which is typically not recommended because it can be very dangerous, again as explained to me by my new doctor), and said the would prescribe another. That perscription has yet to be sent (it’s been over a month). The doctor made no effort to reschedule me at an earlier time, or so relevant bloodwork to understand the root of my symptoms. Also when I called to tell the staff the medication I was taking, they wouldn’t believe me as to what I was prescribed and said their record contained two other medications instead of the ones I was taking - so they treated me as incompetent. I would stay away from this clinic at all costs, especially if you belong to any minority group, as they seem not to care about financial difficulties, and clearly believe homosexuality is a choice, and evolution is a hoax.

Seriously if you need help and are hurting find another place, you may hear things like "you need to grow up" when you explaining how truly suicidal you are. Or if they say your appointment is at a different time then you had written down " I will squeeze you in but only if you don't have any problems".

Dr. Parvez listens to my concerns and does a thorough job making sure you get the right medication you need and adjusts as needed. I also started seeing Dr. Mann and also took the time to listen to my concerns and see how I was feeling. I highly recommend!!

Meredith Goodlatte

The doctor is the best and so educated and caring— she has transformed my Life with her care! U also am only giving 4 stars bc the first few months there the front desk service was so uncaring—- and most of us there do not need that... so glad it has been updated and much more pleasant service!!

Dr. Sherin Parvez is an amazing physician. She really listens to all your concerns and needs before addressing them and makes sure you make an informed decision together on your care plan.

Nora Astorga-Zarger

I really haven’t felt a connection with my provider. It feels like every time I go in we last about 10 minutes and she really doesn’t care about my situation. She doesn’t do anything over the phone so if you have an emergency and are looking for advise her clerk will tell you to go to the ER.
