I have been a patient of Dr. Parvez for over two years. At first the office ran smoothly. In the last three weeks of my life, she decided to take me off sleeping medication. I tried calling her office when I noticed the negative effects of sleep deprivation. I tried calling, 3 times. Each time I left a message with a different prompt, press 1 etc, still no answer. My therapist even called to address the situation and he has yet to hear back from this office. So I decided my only option left was to physically go to the office. When I arrived at the office I told the receptionist why I was there and she referred me to the ER... over sleeping pills. ER would have laughed in my face. She did say I could wait till my upcoming appointment on February 22. I arrived today at the office, and the receptionist claims I never had an appointment scheduled for today. In fact, she claims that I do not even have an appointment scheduled for the future. This is simply impossible because at the end of each 5 minute consultation with Doctor Parvez she would schedule your next appointment. Their lack of concern, duplicity, and frustration with their patients is why I am switching to another psychiatrist and I would recommend anyone who is reading this to do the same, or strongly reconsider going to her for your medical issues.

To begin with my first few visits I had to call 5 plus times to get in on a emergency refill. Dr Sherin is anything but kind she seems to not understand all patients are different so I decided to bring my mom thinking maybe it was just her rubbing my mom wrong. I lost my best friend this past Saturday and wanted to go on my meds I was taking when I started there, we got in the day after, she had NO sympathy for me at all my mom tried to speak Dr sherin then raised her voice knowing everything I was going through and made me have a panic attack due to Dr Sherin acting totally uncalled for. We will NEVER be back. She’s so heartless we never even spoke rudely back and by the way after research the laws she stated she knew are not true! Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be even more bothered with.

My son was asked to come early and we did so. The receptionist was professional and help my son with some of the paper work. We waited for almost and hour past our appointment. My son was very calm and willing to wait to speak with Dr.Sherin S Parvez. My son was called in to the office and within 10 minutes came out more upset than I have seen him in weeks. He told me she did not listen to a word he said and said she couldn't work with him That took about 10 minutes of her time and 120 dollars. I have not seen him this upset with any therapist ever. I would not recomend her to deal with anyone who is having issues.

Don't ever go to the psychiatrist Dr. Saleh Parvez in Winter Garden, FL. She ignores patient complaints, accepts having an unpleasant receptionist, and doesn't get both sides of the story. I arrived about half hour before my first appointment to fill out paperwork as requested. I entered the office to a blaring TV of health tips. I asked if they could turn down the TV or unplug and the receptionist, a unfriendly person, said they couldn't. I backed off and started filling out the paperwork fully meaning to bring it up with the Doc. An older couple came in and the man couldn't hear the receptionist over the TV and complained vociferously. She would not turn it off (she told him it comes on automatically). He said just unplug it. I found the plug and unplugged it. It was such a relief. My Dad was hard of hearing so I'm used to loud TV. If it bothered me, the TV was worse than blaringly loud. From a both a mental and physical health standpoint, at that volume, you'd near ear protection. As a note, receptionist is separated by a wall and glass, so doesn't have to hear it. Receptionist was livid I unplugged the TV. I had tried to find controls on the back to turn it down since she didn't have the remote, but there were none, so only thing left was to unplug. About 5 minutes later, the receptionist came to the window and said the Dr. would not see me due to the disruption I caused. Ha! Who knows what the receptionist told the Doc. But, seems like especially a psychiatrist should take the time to hear what I had to say and should be more available to someone who is deemed 'disruptive'. I was by no means disruptive and I am kind to everyone, practicing random acts of kindness to family, friends, and strangers. I'm glad they decided not to see me after the initial shock, since who wants to go to a doctor with a terrible receptionist, where a blaring TV is OK even though patients complain and it's known to be bad for mental disorders, or a doctor that doesn't get both sides. Good riddance to Dr. Saleh Parvez in Winter Garden, FL. It's called Silver Lining Psychiatry, but the silver lining is I didn't have to see her, since she is clearly not the right psychiatrist for anyone.

Dr Parvez is fabulous. She's caring and thorough. I feel completely safe in her very confident hands and I honestly haven't felt this good in many years. The office is beautiful and the staff is great too. I highly recommend Dr Parvez!

You lost a patient. unforeseen events. I never rescheduled, or missed an appointment with my son. Today my son had an appointment with the dra Sherin Pervez, it was all right to go, but I had a car accident. My car is not walking. I called the consultant, who never answers the calls, I left a message explaining what had happened. 20 minutes later a very rude and rude woman called me and said she would charge us $ 40.00 for clearing the appointment. I tried to explain to her that I did not know they were going to hit my car, and consequently that I could not take my son to the practice. the woman, very rude, turned off the call, without letting me finish speaking, and charged me $ 40.00 on my card, even without my authorization. Dr Sherin Parvez lost a patient. My son has already been treated with it for 4 months, I pay 100.00 every month. I did not expect this attitude from the doctor's office, and I do not think it's right for the person to disconnect the phone in the middle of the call without letting me finish speaking. I tried calling several times later and they did not answer any more calls. It's not that kind of doctor I want to take care of my son's. I do not recommend!!

Dr. Sherin Parvez is by far the best psychiatrist I've ever had. I've gone through about 4 psychiatrists in the past ten years, never seeming to find someone who is both caring and highly skilled in maintaining my mental health. She is my personal advocate and I have complete faith in her ability to tweak my medication whenever I'm not functioning at my best. She is so nice and knowledgeable, and she smiles and is so pleasant to talk with. She keeps spots open in her schedule so that every time I need to see her last minute in an emergency she is available to see me in as little as a day or two or within that week as well. I've never had a more inquisitive psychiatrist. She keeps notes about my personal life, like how my main relationships and work etc are doing and asks how I've been and what my main challenges of that month or months have been. She opens the floor to me and asks is there any questions I have or anything else I'd like to share. She really takes the time to understand me and my life and uses that to treat me properly. I've never been this high functioning and confident in my entire time of being diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and anxiety and much of that success I owe to Dr. Sherin Parvez. Please choose her as your psychiatrist! She is the best!!

This doctor has true compassion! She helped me when I needed it the most. She made me feel safe. She was different from other doctors that just want to make their point and protect themselves without listening to people's opinions and thoughts. She understood my point of view, she listened.
