HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE first visit with the Nurse Practitioner Felicia Turner, even though I made an appointment with the Doctor and specifically asked to see a Doctor on my first visit. This was my first time returning back to a Doctor after 10+ years (no insurance in the hospitality industry) and because I recently became insured again through my job. She was completely appalled that i had no doctors records to bring with me from 10+ years ago when I lived in a different state. She also questioned the reason for my visit in the first place, insinuating that I was "shopping for pills". For being such a suicide advocate, she belittled me to the point of feeling bullied that I felt tears welling up in my eyes before I could even get out her door. This was NOT a very healing attitude whatsoever that she projected towards me. I went to the car, cried and felt worse when I left than I felt when I got there. Second visit wasn't as bad because I actually saw the doctor this time, however it was a very rushed 10 minute visit for the $67 out of pocket I paid.

I'm new to Florida and have had a tough time finding a doctor that was appropriate . Since I'm new here I was running late due to an accident and they wouldn't budge on seeing me even though I need my perscription desperately. They offered reschedule but I work non stop and taking the time off is nearly impossible. I guess compassion these days is out the window . Seems like another place that doesn't value patients at all. It's very disappointing . I was actually at the door when my grace time was up and they wouldn't even open the door. I can't thank them enough for me taking these wasted hours off work to sit in there parking lot at and write this. Descretion is dead apparently. Guess I shouldn't have expected much. Very disappointed.

I made my husband's first appointment here. I informed them of his addiction to certain medications and Dr. Willem continues to prescribe these medications regardless of my informing them of his abuse of them. I am so angry and feel this should not be allowed. A doctor should be more responsible than this. We are changing to another doctor immediately.

I had been to a lot of other psychiatrists until I met Dr. Quadri. I was never given the same care that Dr. Quadri gives to his patients. His knowledge about different medications and which would work best for me was beyond that of any other psychiatrist that I have been to. I had done a Pharmacogenomics panel just to see what medicines would work best for me, but it wasn't needed as Dr. Quadri had already put me on the medicines that it said would work best with my genetics. He is one of the only psychiatrists that actually spends time with his patients, listens to any input they have about their medication or treatment, and checks in to see how they are doing overall. I will be moving a hour and a half away from the office but will still see Dr. Quadri because of the excellent care that he has provided.

This doctor felt very unprofessional to me. I would not suggest this place. I would think the job of a psychiatrist is to make his patient comfortable enough so they can opened up to them in order to help the patient get better. This doctor started judging my brother the minute he walked in the room. His first comment to him was "you are 30 mns late". Me confused responded " we got here 15 mns early Dr." he responded "yes but it took him 30 mns to fill out the paperwork, most patients fill them out pretty quickly so i can tell that something is wrong with him". I have never felt so offended. I wanted to walk out the room the moment he made this comment but i decided to stay and give him a second chance but it kept on getting worse and i was more and more disappointed. This doctor is very unprofessional. He will make you feel like you are crazy instead of helping you to get better. Like i said DO NOT GO THERE.

I was denied services from my therapist guided by Mariza, who called her self office manager that also denied sharing her information I was first humiliated and had high blood pressure ( the nurse measured and said with reason after the whole problem Created ) because she was confused and was asking me for payment on the amount of 350 dollars that I paid in full with no insurance and then 1600 dollars that was covered by the insurance that I made to be treated by this office suggested by them I can not believe that a doctor denied a patient service and humiliate a person with insurance this is wrong and I am offended

I am very disappointed in this office !! The front desk staff is rude and they don't know how to verify insurance or do their jobs! They told me they take my insurance and was verified all I have to do is pay my co-payment and hot a bill in the mail!!!!!I am a health care provider and I also refer my patients to this office!! Well guess what!!! I will no longer send my patients to this office!! The medical assistant didn't know how to take my vitals properly!!!

I have been coming here for the past few months. I love everything about it. The office staff are so courteous and helpful. Maritza is an amazing person inside and out I cannot tell you how she has went above and beyond to help me with anything. I have seen Ms. Techeana for medication management 2x and have never felt pressured even when I decided to go natural and not take any medication she understood and went with what was in my best interest, she listened to me and wanted the best for me, I also saw Erin another physician she was wonderful also so caring and was easy to speak with she ensured I was in the best health I could be also. I also see Dr. Kellog he is a great physician, I really enjoy our sessions as he has helped me work through so much. This facility is so nice, the physicians and staff are so caring. For me and my experience I have nothing but good things to say.

Dr. Quadri has been my doctor for about 1.5 years. I have been seeing doctors since 1981. He is very good. I switched to him because he helped my 12 year old daughter who was having suicidal thoughts. Turns out, she has recurrent depression. He helped me with my extreme insomnia, and other issues. The staff is kind. The staff at Dr. Sonny Joseph was not, when I went there about 1 year. That doctor showed up pretty late in the morning, and I had to go to work. The office women had such a bad attitude, as if I was to blame in some way. I think some people have been complaining about PsychPoint, but dig deeper. These people are most likely the ones not paying for their services. Dr. Quadri is very compassionate, and has allowed many people to receive his services, with no pay or delayed pay. Try this at Dr Sonny Joseph’s, and you will receive no services. It is actual difficult for PsychPoint to pay rent, so they have finally required the overly late to pay their bills. He is not bad for that. Common on. He is not a rich man. He has to hold a second mental health related job just to survive. He is interested in helping people, not giving out drugs that people are addicted too. I pay my bill every visit, which after my $2500 deductible is about $19. Pay the place. Oh, I saw a counselor there, once. One of the best ever. Great communicator, understanding, and gave me helpful free web links to look up.

Terrible and poor service. One month waiting and it still not resolved. I called many times to give them the number and all the info they need provided by my medical insurance and no one is been able to call or submit a medical authorization to my medical insurance. So obviously my prescription is not covered and still been paying more than $200.00 for my "covered"prescription. Ahhh but they are very good charging for deductible even not doing anything of their basic services. So if you want a strong headache, definitely this would be your best place.

The front staff are okay, in the sense that they are polite. However, they misquoted me by over $100 on phone call, then charged for services that were not rendered at time of visit. Then said I would have to speak with the office manager the next day in regards to what shouldn't have been an issue, in order to reach a resolution. The "care" you receive doesn't feel like care. She seemed misinformed, and had to re read my simple intake form several times just to remember the basics of why I was there. She interrupted often, and came across as not being genuinely concerned with me, my wellbeing , or current situation. Was unable to answer questions in a clear, concise manner. Seemed impatient, uninterested, and quite frankly, not a nice person. I would liken the experience to a forced conversation with an acquaintance you don't like, but getting charged $350 for it. Would not reccomend this place to anyone.

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE. I’m reporting them to Channel 9 investigates. They take co payments without verifying any insurance information and then don’t want to give the money back. I have waited over 3 weeks with nothing in return but empty promises. They messed up my appointment with setting me up with the wrong person then when getting me with the right person made me pay another co payment. I didn’t meet with the first person for more than 10 minutes n only about 15 to 20 minutes with the next. The office is filthy and admin staff has no clue what they are doing.

They were never even able to make me an appointment. I initially called them seeking treatment for my anxiety and depression, however they were unable to pull up my insurance information. So I called my insurance and they told me that Psych Point had called and was in fact able to pull up my information. This phone tag between me, psych point, and my insurance continues for well over a month. Psych Point finally calls me and said they had my insurance info but had to wait 5 business days to make me an appointment, and that they would call me back in 5 business days. I decided to give them a chance to do their job and wait for THEM to call me for once. It's been over 2 weeks and they have not called me back. If you call psych point, prepare to do all the work their front desk people should be doing for them. I would've rated 1 star but I can't speak for their quality of treatment, I wouldn't know.

Do not go to them, they charge a BUNCH of hidden fees that they will not tell you about until they send you the bill. TWICE I had them tell me my co-pay was something different than what it actually was. They're liar and cheats. They're also very manipulative, I was talking to them about going to a closer office, and they told me "You don't want to do that, you won't get treatment like you would here. Other people don't care like we do." They treated me for Bipolar disorder without PROPER testing, and it turns out I had anxiety and depression, not bipolar. And they don't listen to what you tell them, for example, I was put on a drug that made me extremely tired and violent but they wouldn't take me off it. I was taking around 4 medications with them for my "Bipolar Disorder" and was WAY too medicated. I wish I could rate 0 stars, but I just overall wouldn't go there ever again.

The office staff were extremely polite and helpful. Dr. Quadri spent almost an hour with my daughter and asked very intuitive questions. It was clear that he was listening to the answers as follow on questions were clearly based on the prior answers given. He did not push medications and in fact recommended some lifestyle changes prior to medication which were in line with things we'd already researched. In addition he was very helpful with establishing a follow up appointment and helping to arrange psychotherapy and at no time did we feel rushed or misdirected. It's early days but the experience so far beats every other psychiatrist or office we have encountered. Psych Point and the staff have been quick, helpful, polite and courteous. My daughter's case is complex and challenging and others have turned us away. For the first time we have what appears to be some hope of consistent and caring help. Update: My daughter had an issue and the staff were extremely helpful and Dr. Quadri found time to see her despite being fully booked. His manner and approach was not only respectful and polite but insightful as he helped her explain what her issues were and where she needed help. He did not dictate, order or drive her to a decision. She felt in control and welcomed. Also whoever commented that the staff were rude has other issues as at no time since going there have we witnessed staff being anything other than helpful, kind and polite. I can't recommend Psychpoint enough. I'd give six stars if it were an option.

You can tell a lot about an office by the lobby. If we were going by first impressions, this one was incredibly poor. Despite the yellowed walls, mismatching and torn chairs, and stained carpet, I gave this office the benefit of the doubt because ultimately the care provided is what matters most. It is truly a shame that their practice and care of patients is just as bad, if not worse, than the stained carpet. I have been going to Psych Pointe of Florida for around a year now. In that time I have seen three psychiatric nurses. The first barely spoke a word to me, signed my prescription and sent me on my way. Apparently he quit a couple months in because I never saw him again. The next nurse was a woman who had an incredibly poor attitude with me and made me uncomfortable expressing problems I had been having with my medication. I nearly left the office but third time was the charm because the last nurse, her name is Erin Kim, was an absolute pleasure to be around. In an office that was falling apart and honestly gross to be in, she seemed to redeem it. That was until my last experience. While I always knew it was possible I could be drug tested considering my medication, in the year I have been here it has never happened. When I went to my appointment today they informed me that they were invoking the policy but I had to pay for the testing. When I asked why it had never happened before, they said they only just started "doing what they are supposed to". When I asked why I was not given notice of this, I was told "we have no requirement to provide you notice'. It's not even about the drug test, I am a college student paying my tuition and personal bills. If I am going to be incurring an additional charge I would have liked to be prepared, but I was never informed that even if I had been drug tested there would be a charge! When I asked if I could reschedule so I could come prepared with payment, I was told that even though I was there, I would be billed $50 from a collections agency for a "missed appointment" fee. They offered no leniency with this. I requested my medical records to go to a different office, and they were going to charge me $25 for my 19 page history even though Florida Administrative Code states that it's $1 a page up to $25 pages. It wasn't even about the money at this point, it was the fact that they were grossly ignoring HIPPA regulations (like how HIPPA blatantly requires notice sent to patients before drug testing). Not even that, I'd have to wait three business days for my records. After dealing with this disaster in the office for nearly an hour and a half, I left and called them back with further questions about my records. I was hung up on twice, placed on hold while I was literally in the middle of talking and they gave no notice of putting me on hold, and was told that they "did not care" about the anxiety I was caused (I am literally receiving treatment for anxiety). Needless to say, I immediately found a new office. But new patients beware, the staff treat their patients with the same gross negligence they treat the hygiene of the office.

They sent me to another establishment with no direction took time off of work to show up and have no help or success. When you call the office the useless receptionist will tell you No one is there. I called and scheduled an appointment for Friday, because that was a day that I didn't have work. They gave some weird excuse that someone else had scheduled me, so I needed to reschedule. I do. They kept trying to reschedule me for days that I couldn't make it in because of work. I try to stress to them that I want to keep my appointment time. My appointment comes, but I didn't know I had an appointment. I got absolutely no notice or confirmation that I scheduled an appointment. So they call me and tell me that I miss the appointment. Not worth the aggravation. i star. As in square root of -1. Because thinking that scheduling an appointment with them would be easy was obviously a figment of my imagination.

Do NOT go here!! This office is all about the money!!! First off, after I had my first appointment I decided I was never going back. The psychologist I saw did nothing for me but tell me what I already knew. She didn't give me any strategies or make me feel any better. Honestly, I would have gotten more good by going on a hike to clear my head then going to this office. But that wasn't even the real problem....Sooo, I just NOW received a bill from apparently a "no show" appointment I don't remember making back in August 2016.....for $50!!! I called the office to tell them I don't even remember making this appointment in hopes someone would clear up the situation. Well they didn't care..... AT ALL. Receptionist Cordelia was kind but wouldn't work with me at all to excuse payment or even cut it in half. I talked to the office manager, nothing. My co-pay for my insurance would have only been $10...had I gone to the appointment....yet they want $50 for a service I never got. This is a MENTAL health facility ...... let that settle. The office should be even more kind, forgiving and considerate with their no show policy. Some people have anxiety with making appointmentsand following through. The psychologists here are still walking away with probably close to 6 figure incomes why do they need to swindle us working class people with a $50 no show fee!! I understand $10 or even $15... like most normal doctors offices..I did sign something at registration but I don't remember $50 no show fee in the packet!!! Lesson for me? Read the fine print next time. Noted. That being said, I get it's a business but WOW. An office that doesn't work with its patients on financial issues or case to case issues is a office I will NEVER return to or recommend to anyone. I made the payment but only because they said they would send it to a collection agency!!! This is the problem with mental health specialist and doctors now a days, they aren't into actually helping their patients, but rather in it for the money. Do not go here if you want REAL mental health services, instead go work out or go hiking to clear your mind and reset. Play an instrument! That's what healed me and inspired me.

Went today for the first time with my wife, Tere Pizarro for initial evaluation with psychiatrist, Dr. Syed O Quadri which evaluated me and was with excellent Customer Service, very friendly, compassionate and a excellent human being! He knows about psychiatry and is up to date on all mental disease! He listened to me and took the time to explain everything to me and my wife for the treatment and prognosis of my mental disease! The Receptionist, the Secretary and the office staff are excellent very courteous, humane and considerate with the patients! In our opinion the PSYCH POINTE OF FLORIDA AND THE OFFICE STAFF AND DR. SYED O QUADRI ARE THE BEST IN Florida and around the world! We will recommend this place without hesitation! We give thanks to God for giving us the pleasure to meet this mental health professionals! My wife was evaluated by a Nurse Practitioner which was very good! During my evaluation my wife, Tere Pizarro entered the office and the Dr. talked to her and explained everything, He was very nice with my wife!

My daughter has been going to Psych Pointe for over one year. She has mainly seen Tachaeana Anderson and Michael Gilman who have been very kind and caring. There have been a few issues with phone messages, appointments and billing, but Maritza worked very hard to make corrections and we haven't had a problem for about 6 months. I tried to change offices to someplace closer, but getting anyone to call me back, having a long wait for an appointment, and having someone hang up on me accidentally were a lesson to me when I called Psych Pointe and quickly had a human answer the phone and schedule an appointment with Dr. Quadri - who we've seen only once, but was very kind when we saw him. They do try to answer the phone when they can, which is more than I can say for the other offices I have called.

Dr. Tach is absolutely wonderful. I've been seeing her for about a year now and she listens and is very knowledgeable and works with me to help me. The office staff has no clue what is going on. I've never had an issue until they got new office staff. Every time I call, I have to call anywhere between 3-8 times AND NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE NO MATTER WHAT TIME I CALL. When they do finally call me back, no one knows what the hell is going on. I've been misquoted for co-pay on more than one occasion, I've been billed for past due amounts AFTER I've made my payment IN OFFICE and have a balance of $0, I've cancelled appointments and then been called 2 days in a row to confirm a cancelled appointment.Needless to say, I love my Dr, but if the office cant get it together, I will find another doctor and go else.

If I could only give a zero star review. Tachaeana A. Anderson, MSN, ARNP-BC and the office staff are by far the most unprofessional, money grabbing, bottom feeders I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Following multiple phone calls and numerous messages being left, I ended up driving (40 miles) to their office to have a prescription corrected for my daughter. They will only refill a prescription after billing your insurance every 30 days, even for a 90 day refill and nickel and dime the patient for every last drop of insurance money available. Their treatment, lack of professionalism, and money-grabbing tactics were reported to my insurance and the appropriate oversight agencies. STAY AWAY!!! STAY FAR AWAY!!!

He is a professional first and foremost. He is meticulous and thorough and really cares about finding a resolution that works for me. He is very attentive and specific with regard to his intent for my treatment and even after 4 years, he always takes the time to evaluate my condition and then together, we work to find a resolution. Highly recommend!

This place is a scam! I was inaccurately referred here, and after the Nurse Practitioner Tonya King listened to my concerns about my son, she told me that I wasn't supposed to be there because I didn't want medication for him. However, THEN she told me that in order to get rid of my son's separation anxiety, I should have another child!!! I got my co-pay back and NOW I'm being billed $350 for this "SESSION." I'm making tons of phone calls trying to get this fixed. I gave them my insurance information a week before my appointment, and they never told me that this Tonya King was out of network for my insurance. This place screams cheap help and unprofessional. I left feeling worse than I did going in.

I have been a patient to this office for about 2 years now and they have had their ups and downs with me but they are small compared to everything they have done for me. One of the office ladys are just my favorite. Whatever you need she will be there to help you for without question. I wish I was good with names but her name starts with an M. Sorry for forgetting yet again. In the past the office staff has confused me with my sister in law because she shes Tach as well. So I would usually get a phone call reminding me of her appointment or vise versa and we did not want to get a no show charge so we freaked out most of the time. They never charged us and they haven't confused us in months now. Another incident that I was willing to change doctors for just happened last month. I wanted to be honest and explain I lost insurance so they didn't charge my insurance but they did anyways. It ended up totaling out to be an outrageous amount for a check up that only really lasts at most 30 minutes so it was not worth coming back. I explained it to my favorite staff member who's name starts with an M and she instantly handled everything for me right on the spot again without question. So with the amount of care, respect and understanding I receive from everyone there I personally feel they deserve the 5 stars for going above and beyond for me as a person and not just a number. Keep up the good work. I look forward to my monthly visits because of everyone there thank you for really changing my life for the better.

I would not recommend this facility. This office prescribed me Wellbutrin, and after a few days on the meds, I developed a severe reaction; so I decided to quit. I called the office for assistance on how to taper off, but was told that I needed to come into the office (which would require me to miss work and pay an office visit fee). After refusing to come in, they finally gave me the instructions over the phone, but placed me on a "Do not accept" list. So, now I can't see any of their physiatrists to modify or try a different medication, and they won't allow me to see any of their counselors. Their reasoning is that I refused to follow medication guidance. Excuse me, If I'm having a severe reaction to my meds, what else am I supposed to do? And, again, I called the office for advice. BOTTOM LINE: this facility cares nothing about treating its patients who may be truly suffering from mental illnesses; its all about money for Psych Point of Florida. They want to collect that office visit fee above all else, its seems, and will throw you away in a minute.

I have been seeing Dr. Quadri for over a year. I have so many different issues he has to deal with. He does it with such ease. I don’t like Doctors at all. However, Dr. Quadri makes it calm and seemless. The only thing I can say. Well two things... The office manager is amazing. She is not only amazing at her job. But, as a person. Sometimes the girls that check you in. Make mistakes that are super annoying. But, it gets dealt with. The other thing is Tasha the nurse practitioner. I saw her once did not want to see her again. Very dry and acts as if she couldn’t care less. Almost as if she is speaking down to you. I know I’m not the only one that has experienced that. As, other reviews speak of her as well. And how she is. Feeling the same way as I do. I’ve seen one other nurse practitioner there. Similar experiences with both.... Dr. Quadri and the office manager. Makes any and everything worth it. If you’re looking for quality. Dr. Quadri is a great choice. Google won’t let me make another review. So, I will expand on this review. I have now been seeing Dr. Quadri once a month for almost three years. I was recently dealing with some issues. That required hospitalization. Maritza (the office manager) took my mother’s call. Then went out of her way. To help her throw what needed to be done. She also made sure Dr. Quadri was informed every step of the way. I cannot thank Maritza and Dr. Quadri enough for their patience. And help to heal. For what ever may be going on with that patient. I will not see another Psychiatrist again. Unless, it’s Dr. Quadri and his AMAZING office management.

My son attends therapy and psychiatry here and while the therapists and Dr Tach are great, they people behind the office are worried about one thing-money. $25 to fax health records, $50 missed appointment fee because of THEIR mix up with insurance. And it goes on. If we didn’t have to deal with the front office everything would be great. They are eager to chase your tail for more money and find very creative ways to do so. Beware.

Took someone for New Patient appointment - they mentioned it would be $120 on phone and a real doctor would be seeing him. Friday's no doctors are supposedly available and they charged $350 to a credit card to speak with a Nurse Practitioner NP. They didn't even pull medical records of previous doctor and upset my friend by saying he was BI-Polar - an NP should not be making any outlandish diagnosis or prescribe any meds if doctor is not there to do consult. They called the police and they were quickly told that they were in the wrong for not seeing my friend. We might be out $350 but we are also have no help given to us for the hours it took to wait for our appointment that was scheduled for 9:00am

Dr Quadri has been my doctor for many years! He is my psychiatrist which is someone who treats you for various conditions ( mentally and psychologically) and prescribes you the medications he feels would be the most beneficial and educates you on the effects of them and how it can help if taken correctly and always offers other methods not just writing your scripts for medication! He geniunely cares about his patients and thier over all well being and is always avail in an emergency sitation. He listens to your concerns to try and get to the root of what is causing your discomfort whether it's anxiety, OCD , etc! He is not advised to go those extra miles as he is not a therapist but he does anyway and makes time to listen and provide advice which is very comforting to have in a doctor who is in charge of your mental health! He has helped me tremendously over the years!! and I am very thankful to have him as my psychiatrist !!!!!

Dr. Quadri. Your email is down so I’m posting this as an update. I just received your refusal to assist myself and children form letter. This is typical of the lack of service, poor communication from your office management and uncaring attitude that has led to my displeasure with your practice and unethical billing practices that your office manager agreed was unfair but obviously your company cares nothing about. All three recommendations for Dr’s in your form letter were not qualified by your staff. The doctors are not available as (2) do not take Humana National POS and the other is no longer seeing patients. Your letter says you will be happy to discuss my case with a new physician who assumes my new care? Really? What do you know about me besides the notes that I paid a nurse practitioner TWICE to see and your 2 minute “physician-patient relationship” we had over the phone were you said to come in to see you that would have been another $55 copay after we were unfairly billed over $200 of copays + insurance invoices for intakes not even performed by a nurse? Another example of why your practice is only concerned with billing as much as possible, has poor communication, multiple VM left and no cLl backs, multiple calls made with promises made to call back not returned, claims that calls were made by the Dr. when there is no record on our cell phones, no one from the billing department explaining why our girls were billed for an intake review when there was none performed. Why I was prescribed blood pressure pill for only 2 weeks out of four, brought it to the nurses attention and got no call back..and now a form letter telling us WE DID NOT COMPLY? REALLY DR QUADRI? Are you in touch with your office staff? I hope not or your part of this scam for not really caring for the well being of pateints. It would have been nice to meet you at least once.

From my experience 'Doctor" Kings go to move is to over medicate her patients instead of treating their problems. When I no longer chose to see her anymore she charged me for a no show even though I cancelled my appointment within the allotted time. Do yourself a favor find another psychiatrist who treats your symptoms instead of writing scripts. I would not recommend!

Dr. Quadri is an excellent doctor that I would highly recommend. He is insightful, gentle and compassionate in his manner, easy to talk to, and very experienced in his field. He has been my doctor for almost 10 years and is the best I've had. The staff are always kind and patient whenever I have any concerns, and accommodating whenever possible. Unfortunately I would not recommend seeing the nurse practitioners at this office, which is why I'm not giving 5 stars. They did not have the knowledge/experience to provide quality care and advice for someone with my condition. Also I would recommend inquiring about prices for paperwork ($200 to do FMLA, for example), if that is a factor in your decision about which practice is best for you. I still highly recommend Dr. Quadri and the staff, as in my opinion, that is the most important consideration when choosing a psychiatrist's office.
