The appointments are rushed, doctor is usually not on time but if YOU are 5 minutes late they will try to reschedule you. Your time is not valuable to them at all. I spent an hour and three minutes on hold before I got to a real person just to ask a question that took all of thirty seconds to answer. And unfortunately that's fairly typical of their office. Anytime I've made a phone call to them before it's been 40min.+ before I got ahold of anybody and that's just to make an appointment usually! No one apologizes for the wait time-in fact they pretend like you haven't been waiting at all. To top it off, I feel as if the doctor does not hear me or acknowledge when I'm not doing well. Or have any plan to help my symptoms improve. "Keep positive," he says. If it were that simple, I would have already done it. But that's not how most mental health conditions work and he should know that. Now bear in mind that I am seeking therapy with someone outside of their office (don't get me started on that, the one I tried in office was a nightmare) so it's not as if I'm not taking steps to work on things myself-it is entirely on their end. He's continually failed me as a doctor and now that I have better insurance I can actually try to go somewhere where I might get real treatment. But to anyone considering this practice -unless you have no other choice, you really shouldn't go here.

Horrible horrible place. I’ve been going here for a while because it’s the only place I can get an appointment with my insurance and it’s hell. They charge you $25 if you’re 5 minutes late but yet 90% of the time you will be waiting 45 mins to 1 hr for your appointment!! I’m writing this as my appointment was at 11am and I’m still waiting at 12:06pm, ridiculous.

Katie LeBlanc

Literally the WORST experience everytime I come into this office. The receptionist have absolutely no work ethic nor are they eager to help any of the patients. EVERYTIME I call to make an appointment I get put on hold almost immediately and have to wait 30 minutes. EVERYTIME I come into the office at the time of my appointment they are always always behind and I don't get seen sometimes 1 hour and even 2 hours AFTER my appointment time. This place needs a major intervention.

Sandra Valverde

Every time I have an appointment I have to wait 30 or more minutes to be seen because the practitioner is always running behind! Yet they ask you to come in 15 minutes before but make you wait for ever to see you...this place is the worst and I would not recommend to anybody

Sal Lopez

I’m not sure why everyone says the staff is rude but in my experience they were very helpful and friendly !

My therapist is amazing. My Dr is great. Trying to reach someone in the Maitland office to make an appointment is very difficult. They leave you on hold- my “on-hold” threshold is 7 minutes. It’s poorly managed.

Gabriel L

Go here if you love having every appointment canceled or rescheduled on you. I go every 3 months and every single time it gets canceled

Jeff Sorenson

A dumpster fire from top to bottom. If you care about your health, do not patronize this place.

I would give them zero if I could. Worst run business in Orlando. Desmond the man on charge is completely incompetent and Dr. Gergis is a conservative republican who laughed in my depression suffering wife’s face the day After the election when the so called Dr. asked her why she was crying in her appointment. The three good people I have met there do not overcome the absolute cluster f... the rest of the place is. Find ANY other option, it will better.

Angelie Coronado

I wouldn’t even give this place a one. I have been dealing with my mental health for the past 10 years of my life. I have been searcing for the right therapist and Dr to serve me and help me progress. I have seen two therapist that have been the worst i have ever met. The first one is an older lady named carol very nice but during therapy does not speak one word nor tries to help me do or fix anything after crying out to her opening my past to her and nothing. I decided to see another therapist claiming she would help me and her name is marci . Finally thinking someone is ready to help me through this long process. I She stated she was foing to teach me coping skills ext and on my first day of therapy i had a panik attack AND SHE TOLD ME TO CHILL who says that , then after her seeing me late she was kicking me out of therpy 15 min before it was done. What kind of place is this or that would allow these women to work with people like me.

Brittanie Boulton

The receptionists are ALWAYS rude. They are downright mean to you. They also make mistakes and then blame it on you so you end up having to pay for a no show fee when you called them 24 hours or more ahead. They make the entire experience dreadful and I hate having to go there to see my Dr. He is great though, and that's the ONLY reason i stay. AWFUL PLACE!!!!!!!! *update- ran out of medication and called thw office for a refil. They told me they needed the doctor's signature, then they could call it in. I called back for FIVE DAYS and they kept telling me he was with a patient they would track him down, they didn't get a chance. 5 days the SAME EXCUSES. I STILL have np medicine and now I am experiencing withdrawal symptoms. I am concerned about my health and have no way of getting these pills because they REFUSE to get the doctor's signature. I am going to new office immidiately so I can get my medicine ASAP. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN PLEASE.

Meli Lime

It's amazing how rude the receptionists are. Wow.... Dr. Gergis is the epitome of arrogance! You're supposed to help your patients, NOT aggravate them. Shut this place down, no one actually gets better here.

Mary Bush

I had been a patient with Dr. kesairi any, many years until he stopped seeing patients. They put me with Dr.Ballenger...please, please, if you need help of any kind DONOTgo to these doctors. The front desk hangs up on you.....Denise, the supposed office manager is a complete incompetent....Wanda, assistant manager use to be o.k. until something physically happened to her and she has blown up like a balloon...sorry for her..no one returns your call when trying to reschedule therefore you get charged. I personally am reporting this office and doctors to The Psychiatric Administration. I urge you to not go to any of the Behavioral Health offices. You are taking your life in your hands. One doctor that they have in their Maitland office unfortunately weighs at least 300lbs. or more and he rents the office space that he is in. When authorities find out what I have to say to them , with plenty of evidence I can’t believe that they will still be in business. Please take my word....I know all their names in the Maitland office...this review is absolutely true. Good luck and God Bless

Maria Larios

Horrible stay waiting for Dr. GERGIS, to prescribed me a new medicine for my condition. Thank God I found another doctor. These doctors don't cars about you or the people around you. Give find yourself another provider

Elizabeth Vaughn

Agree, very rude. Disorganized. Terrible Billing practices. They cant keep it straight. They abruptly quit seeing my son after he was admitted to the hospital for suicidal ideation for 5 days. They said there was a problem with insurance and refused him without any other options given. My son was in crisis and they quit seeing him immediately! Didn't let me attempt to figure out what was going on with the insurance. Heartless... On the up side, there are some very good counselors but the office and management need fired!

Jenny Ryan

Marci Is a great therapist. She has helped me a lot. I highly recommend her!!!

M L

A poor excuse for mental health care. When you need help, it would be a nice start to feel as though you are going to get it. I never did get that feeling. After 3 months of weekly therapy and medication appointments, I couldn't deal with the useless staff for another moment. 1) Therapists must get paid by the newest diagnosis or something because this woman tried to convince me every week, that I have an anxiety issue, suggesting I begin treatment for anxiety. I do not have a problem with anxiety, I have a problem with people who don't listen to me, and I don't need medication or photocopies of some workbook for that. 2) The psychiatrist's staff is the worst I've ever seen. Imagine, you show up, the place is packed and chaotic, you check in at the desk, you sit down wherever possible, and you wait, you see people going up to the desk repeatedly pestering the staff, you think the doctor is running behind, so rather than become annoyed, you wait quietly. Before you know it, your appointment was 60 minutes ago and now you are sure something isn't right, so in my case, I walked up to the desk and said, "What's going on here? My appointment was at 2:15, I've been here since 2:00 and it's 3:15 now, this is supposed to be a short appointment..." and they inform me, without offering a bit of concern, "the doctor left, he went on vacation 45 minutes ago. You'll have to come back when he returns in 2 weeks". 'Ummmmmm, NO.' My tone was direct, my voice was clear and noticeably angry. [paraphrasing] 'I came here and checked in with you. You were aware that I was here waiting to see HIM, and he left thinking he didn't have any patients left.... that's not on me! I'm not coming off my medication for 2 weeks while he plays golf, because you basically suck at your job, find somebody who can write my script.' Seriously, this is mental health care, which means that everybody in the waiting area has the possibility of being, well... mental. I have a temper, but I am mindful of other people and wouldn't want my behavior to negatively impact another patient or child. I am able to hold it together, so long as someone is helping with a solution. Which they did, eventually, but I can imagine a patient of lower functional capacity, coming completely unglued by that point. I have never returned.

Y. G.

I want to start off with the best to worst. Carol Lobe is a wonderful therapist. She is caring, listens and suggests new perspectives. Dr. Kazi Ahmad is my psychiatrist. Let me be honest in saying that while he listens to me while I am there, going back to him is like addressing Dori from Finding Nemo. He continuously recommends the same medication I have explained we already tried and I have an aversion to. Even if he does not remember me, he can at least PRETEND by reading my chart. His strength is that he is knowledgeable. Now, the staff that does the intake is nice enough. They're polite and they are patient with everyone. The office manager and the billing specialist are a whole different animal. They avoid you, they don't listen, they take advantage, they are rude.... I have great health insurance and my insurance has attempted to reach them various times with absolutely no response. They have tried billing me for services that were denied because they failed to file a proper claims, they have failed to reimburse me for money that is owed and has been repeatedly proven that it is indeed owed. I am really disappointed since I thought this place would be more efficient.

Eli Mar

Dr. Rodriguez is terrible, period. He’s rude, he has this ridiculous temper on him where he’ll end up yelling at you if you’re not careful with your words, he’s easily offended. I asked him a question about my prescription “how come many people online say this isn’t for ADHD?” Since he was trying to give me a medication that was more for depression then ADHD (and I didn’t have depression) and I honestly just wanted to get a simple answer out of curiosity. Instead of simply answering my question in a professional polite manner, he begins to raise his voice and start yelling “I’m the doctor here, you’re not” and a bunch of other things he yelled at me, I was just amazed of how unprofessional he was. If you can avoid this doctor, please do!

Kailey O'Shaughnessy

I’ve been sitting here with a friend (im their ride) for three hours. There was one polite staff member who was very understanding. However there was another lady who was very rude and insisted after two hours of waiting we could either pay $50 or wait for the doctor. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy let alone anyone who needs actual treatment.

Sirxup

2 1/2 stars if I could. I like my doctors a lot, but I dislike the rest of the staff. Always confusion about payments, unprofessional, and rude. Is it like that everytime? No, but enough to get you very frustrated. The worst thing is they recently upgraded the phone system so instead of getting the office directly it's a joint line with the rest of the offices and now you can never get anyone to answer the phone. 5 stars on my doctor and therapists 2 on the staff.

Brandy Slusher

Terrible

Jessica Thomas

You will need therapy after going to this place! Dr. Rodriguez, Xiaoyin "Anne" Wang, and Sharmisthra Barai are a JOKE. Saw every doctor there thinking the next one would be better than the last and nope, THEY ALL SUCK. The WORST doctors, staff, and therapists I have ever seen. DO NOT GO HERE, you will be sorry you did. You are just another number to them here. They do not listen and are very argumentative and combative. I expected someone with a degree in psychology to have been trained with better people skills but nope THEY ARE ALL A BUNCH OF A**HOLES!

Evan Caulfield

Scheduled a meeting with Jack a week prior. When I arrived at the building, I was informed I could not meet with him due to company policy. This was extremely inconvenient and a complete waste of my time. Why I wasn’t told this beforehand is beyond explanation. Very frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values their time.

Tony Rose

Believe all of the reviews and listen. It is not just this location, their whole network is a joke. From therapist to office staff and their crappy notification system. I have been turned away now for a 2nd time by this network despite being ordered to come here. I'll never go back to any of their places, wish i could share more but not for the world to see.. sorry. Go find yourself a private provider, screw this network.

For anyone in need of GENUINE MENTAL HEALTH CARE,please heed this statement... “I’d rather continue with my issues separating me from “normal” society for the rest of my “abnormal” life then return to this facility for what they deem as acceptable mental health care.” If this doesn’t give you some perspective on how the facility is operated then please continue reading the reviews... any of them. And any one overseeing the care of another individual please read the same reviews and care for those people the way that you would care for yourself and not take them to see these “pill pushers” who are concerned about nothing more than their pockets been lined up by pharmaceutical money.

Long wait time

Chris Hull

I have been going there for 3 years and they are very rude. Only once has my appointment started on time which is fine but last time I was 10 minutes late so they canceled my appointment and rescheduled it to 3 weeks later. This was the first time they have ever mentioned a 0 tolerance policy before. Taking me off my meds for 3 weeks seems a rather severe punishment for a first time offence. I don't like to be bullied but holding my medication hostage is a violation of the AMA code of ethics 8 and 9. If I loose my job because they took me off my meds for being late then I am going to sue them for damages.

Rae White

Cannot get staff , nurse, anyone to call you back. Over a month without medication. Won’t respond to new Dr wanting medical records after many calls , fax requests from myself and Dr. 5 weeks now. Spoke to Dr a week ago who said records would be sent that day. Still nothing.

Office staff is absolutely horrible. I had an appt to renew my prescription. After standing in 1 line for 1-2 minutes I'm told I need to check in at the other line. Standing there for a few minutes while the lady in front of me talks to the staff about I phones. It's my turn and after being told 3 different co-pays, I'm asked to wait a second. She comes back and tells me we will have to reschedule due to me being late. At this point I look at my phone which is 5 minutes past my appt time. I advise that I was in time but had to wait for ppl in front of me. She told me that wasn't true and that was the Dr. Policy. I have been there and waited between 15-30 minutes before for a 5 min consult. Office staff didn't care and would not let me talk to the Dr.

Tucker McDonough

Ridiculous. Impossible to get into contact with anyone ever. All the phones go straight to voicemail and nobody ever returns calls. Been waiting over two weeks to get my paperwork completed and sent out and still waiting for them. Was told the paperwork would take 1-2 days tops. All they care about is the money.

Kristen Purse

Kristina Dixon

They never answer the phone or return voice mails. Staff is rude and not helpful in person.

Marie Nabors

Downgrade that 1star to a 0. Don't go here! Worst experience in the healthcare industry ever. I had to wait around 15 minutes to sign in because there was a line behind one receptionist who was checking out patients at the window, taking phone calls for other patients at the same time, and rescheduling other people, making those of us in line continue to wait. By the time I got my turn it was past my appointment start time. She informed me that I would have to reschedule because I was late, but I wasn't...I actually arrived early. What's even more infuriating was her attitude and overall "whatcha gonna do about it" tone. Don't go. Find another doctor.

SHARON MOREY

The staff was caring and very patient with me.

David Younker

Tony Tschirgi

I actually had to go to a different office, because the girls that work the office are quite nasty

The Punisher

Took my 10 year old to this location for the first time today. The staff was very nice and attentive. Dr. Rodriguez was good and thorough with his evaluation. Will keep coming to this location.

I wish I didn't even have to give this company 1 star. Orlando Behavioral Healthcare in Maitland and Dr. Denise Barnard have recently put me through the worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with. First of all, in their automated phone menu they have a "prescription refill request" line, but don't be fooled because it's not there as a convenience feature for their patients. It's nothing but a time trap and I have now ended up off my meds, going through dangerous withdrawal symptoms as a result of this and complete carelessness on their end. They will gladly take your payment over the phone and tell you your script will be sent over to your pharmacy, but it won't. Then when you get upset because you find out you paid for them to do absolutely nothing for you, they'll actually start lying to see if you'll just go away!! For example, Marcella, who works in this office told me that my scripts actually were sent to my pharmacy and that I filled them, which was completely false. I had to go down there, explain everything to the manager, and then Dr. Barnard STILL refused to write my scripts, citing that "it's just been too long" since I've been seen. I was a patient there for over two years and no one ever bothered to let me know this was a rule. Probably because it's not. I don't trust them at all at this point. When I'm out of refills, the bottles say on them doctor "authorization" required. Not "appointment." So, my advice is if you're on daily medications like me (no matter what it's for; controlled substance or not) and you're really still considering seeing someone in this office to have your scripts written, be prepared to go through this entire process every 30-90 days, depending on how many refills they feel like writing you: Use their automated phone system to leave a message and wait for someone to call you back to schedule your appointment -- but don't miss that call or you'll have to start over and leave another message. Wait up to 1-2 months for the day of the appointment, take time off from your job, drive to their office, and then wait 10-40 minutes just to have a FIVE MINUTE conversation of nothing more than basic small talk before they will lift a pen to write a single script for you. Please save yourself the time, stress, and mental breakdowns. Do not deal with this company.

Ty Smith

The office staff is quickly dismissive and extremely unimpressive. The needs of the patient are not recognized, there is no sense of urgency, this has been an entirely terrible experience. When choosing to be seen by this provider, I wish I would have gotten a heads up before hand of the headache, hassle, and fight I would have to put up for my own needs as a patient to be met. I would strongly suggest doing your research on all of your options before settling for this place.

I have moved on to a better facility that is not to far and is great with children and adults. They do home health and office visits. They have great therapist. Company name is Big Bear behavorial center in maitland

Such an unfriendly and unwelcoming place. Staff is so rude and barely look at you when you check in, and they never answer the phone. Doctors spend 5 minutes with you, interrupt you, and then shuffle you out as fast as they can. Not a place I'd recommend!

Ashley

They allowed me to go 5 days without important medication. I called to refill my prescription 3 days before it ran out because I couldn't make the appointment due to work. The automated message said I would receive a call back. I will now be going 5 days without this very effective medication. It isn't the doctors, it's the staff that simply do not care.

Matthew Chandler

Flash Ryan

Lately (different from years-ago experience) I've found that this office has been helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating to me. I have really appreciated my experience with this office. A great example: Yesterday, I arrived at group therapy to find the group sitting outside! The office assistant, Ashley, stayed out there with us to keep us calm. Once we were settled, she ran off to find help. Really, everyone in this office has helped me feel like I'm an important, valued patient. Come by! Try it out!

Mandy Jackson

This place is the absolute worst. Very unprofessional and no patient courtesy. Definitely not the place to go if you're in need of any real help. The doctors and staff are unhelpful in every way. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Joseph Willis

This is the only medical facility I've abandoned because of a poorly run office. Expect to wait for an hour or more for your scheduled appointment or be sent home to reschedule. Phone lines are always on hold and there arent enough receptionists. Infuriating place.

Lourdes Carcano

Office management is the worst. Office clerks has the worst attitude ever. When you try to call the office, you have to wait over 20 min.

Alysia Santana

You can never get through to your doctor to discuss medication problems because the staff won't transfer you. The staff will tell you to hold, and then send you straight to a general voicemail. The recording says to leave a voicemail and they'll give you a call in one business day, to which no one calls. And even if you leave a message for an administrator, you don't receive a call. Document your calls and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Madeline Welsh

Dani Seltzer

The staff is horrible. They don't return phone calls, even if you're trying to reschedule an appointment. The doctors don't even listen when you talk to them and will answer personal calls on their cell phone during your appointment that their over an hour late for.

Karen Hesseltine

I have been going to obh for over 10 years. The staff is nice and careing........they are rude to people when they are rude to them or not listening to what they are trying to tell them. I dont understand the other people saying they are rude. They have never been rude to me and my family. It is a great company and I am glad to have found them.

Liselotte Hoshi

I've been going there for 3 years. I have been requesting my medical records since January 2016 and just today (July 15th 2016) I have finally received them in the mail. It took 6 months of calling them to finally get them. I had to call at least 5 times a month to ask where my records were. They just gave me the same excuse or the record keeper wasn't there. This place is a joke. Don't even bother wasting your time or money!

Gladys Vazquez

I dont if the assign me time why the dont respect that.

mike moyher

Well. I drove a hour to get there from Clermont left my house at 1150 to get there at 1. Said it took 36 minutes. But of course the traffic was horrible towards Maitland. Got there at 1:03. When I walked up Dr was already talking to the front desk about me. They had no clue it was me. She didn't paint a pretty picture I remember saying to myself I hope this isn't the Dr. They say don't judge a book by its cover. But you're a Dr atleast look the part. But I hear her saying something I can't see him, he's late and I need a full hour. So she turns to me and says I'm sorry the Dr is refusing to see you because you're late. I say I just drove an hour to get here. She's says wait one second let me talk to her again. They come back and says I'm sorry she wants you to reschedule It took me two months to get in there. Because I was late three minutes late? Wow. Should have read these reviews first. Terrible customer service.

Brandy Peacock

I read the reviews before coming to this business and since they were the only one who took my insurance, I just hoped for the best. From the moment we walked in, we were unimpressed. Upon entering the office, we heard someone complaining with a patient about billing, a private conversation that the entire office could hear. The front desk staff were cordial and took care of us. Our therapist, Beth DiGuiseppi, called us at the door when it was time to come back. She said "Hi" and walked down the hall (no introduction, no handshake, no direction on where we were walking to). This appointment was for my 4 year old daughter, so I expected her to at least interact with her initially. We sat in her office and never received a proper introduction, just an awkward "My name is Beth, what brings you here" ...she was unenthusiastic the entire time and asked questions that seemed elementary. We came prepared with notes from her school, drawings she made, notes we had taken over the course of 2 weeks and she did not ask to see or hear about any of it. There was no direction, no things to try, she said this was just an introductory session, but I left feeling like she learned nothing about my child. We scheduled a second appointment to only have her call the day before our appointment and tell me she needs to reschedule because she was asked to speak at an engagement (pushing our appointment out another 2 weeks). Patients are not her top priority. Even if you have to pay out of pocket elsewhere, avoid this place.

Isabella Golden

The doctors here are terrible, there is only one doctor in the whole office that is actually good, and she knows what she is doing. Everybody else here sucks!! I will only go back to the office to visit her. There is one doctor in particular who needs to be fired for his constant tardiness, waiting 3 hours is unacceptable in every way. Do not ever go here.

If it’s your first appt, get there 1.5 hrs early to fill out forms on the iPad. It took me that long and that’s with all my info and history already written and ready to be typed. The app/tablet interface is clunky. I felt pretty rushed by staff, like it was my fault that I had taken that long to fill out forms. If they had a Bluetooth keyboard for the iPad, or better- if I could have filled out the forms online the day before-, that would have been nice and made things easier.

Leanna Chapman

I felt very rushed by doctors and staff. I showed up early, and the doctor saw me 15 minutes late. It seemed like all she wanted to do is write my prescription and get me out of there. I really don't recommend this place if you want real care.

Russell Ohl

I love David Walsh but this office is horrible. I call all the time with questions only get a voice-mail and leave messages. They assure you that you'll be contacted in 24 hours but I never EVER hear back. Theyou seem way over staffed but I question if anyone actually does anything there.

Robert Reeves

Canceled my appointment without contacting me then accused me of lying that I had an one, till I pulled out my card with the date and time on it, then it was " but we called you ". Save yourself some time and aggravation, don't go here

By far the worst facility ever! Do not attend or go!! They don't care about you or listen! They ignore you and send you on your way! I will strongly advise for anyone else to go elsewhere!

This place is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever visited in Orlando . PERIOD. Do not waste your time going to that office. The receptionists staff is the reason for the bad reviews. The office manager who is hiring these so called receptionists needs to be replaced. She or he is doing a terrible job with the placement of employees. Judging from the other reviews, it seems as if they just don't care. The practice charges extra for anything that will bring in more money. The doctors and therapist are great, unfortunately the receptionist is what makes this practice so bad. Receptionist Kelsey is the worst of them all. She has no manners at all and definitely doesn't care about being a professional. Please read the reviews and heed them. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE. I, myself , will be going elsewhere.

I went there yesterday my first time I swear This place really sucks ass the DR are rude asf they dont even care about what you have to say they just give excuses almost about everything I talked about they were just trying to find a quick solution for my mental health they aggravated me so much they just want to prescribe meds and get you out of there really fast this place needs to get shutdown honestly !! The people that work there are very unprofessional and need help themselves!!

Alexandra Hart

Don't go here unless you have to

Rich Moore

Office staff very unprofessional. Document when and the person's name if needing to cancel. They will tell you in next visit you have a no show fee. Left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. Odds of a more professional office are extremely high!

Kaydren 1082

This is place aweful! I work within the medical industry and have never posted on a site like this, but I felt compelled to protect others. My son was discharged from there hospital on medications and we made all the appropriate follow up appointment, which were promptly cancelled by their office the day of the appointments! I explained to them that my son would be out of medication within the next week and they replied that they would call it in. It is now a week later and they will not call it in (and never communicated with me that they didn't) these are medications that can have serious side effects if stopped abruptly. They cared nothing for my son and his condition. The office manager said "well, I don't know who did this so there is nothing I can do". These are people's lives and health, I understand it is called the Healthcare industry but these people only work in the industry with none of the care.

Christina Salcedo

Horrible front desk staff. Rude and loves to belittle people. Requesting an appointment change is a huge inconvenience to them. Staff loves to look down on people!!!! Also, called to cancel an appointment one week prior to scheduled appointment and STILL charged me a fee because they claimed I never called. Liars! Steals your money! Psychiatrist is never there. Always cancels her appointments and now has dedicated days for only disney employees. The rest of us is just pushed aside!!!!!

Had an appt scheduled for the doctor I see, showed up early, checked in. Sat 40 minutes and when they called in a client that had an appointment 1/2 hour after me I approached the desk. I agree with a lot of the other reviews listed , some of the staff are not attentive , nor are they compassionate , however the therapist I see is Tammy, she however is amazing, I am glad I pressed through the negative issues with this office, for therapy with her , The reason I came to this office was cause Tammy was the only EMDR Certified therapist in the surrounding area. THE EMDR Therapy has made a huge difference in my recovery of anxiety and depression . One thing just a tid bit, If you ever cancel by the automated text message MAKE SURE YOU SAVE THE MESSAGES, And also cancel by phone, they will quickly slap on a late charge of almost $100 , I had to show proof that I canceled within 24 hours otherwise they were charging me a outrageous fee. So be very on top of these types of matters. It does seem once you stay stern with them things get a little better. I HONESTLY Don't understand why they have staff that works there that have that kind of demeanor when handling people with mental challenges they are seeming not to understand their staff's behavior can cause the patient's issues to magnify or get worse , especially with anxiety . Just be guarded when utilizing this office. IF THERE IS OTHER EMDR THERAPY AVAIL CLOSER TO MILLENIA AREA PLS REACH OUT AND LET ME KNOW? I would gladly change locations and therapist .

I took my daughter as a new patient for an appt. We were 10 min late due to a block on I4. I called twice to let them know we were late and my call went to voicemail twice. When I arrived I was told the doctor wouldn't see her. The next appt available is about three weeks away. It was very upsetting and just ridiculous. The office mgr. didn't want to step in or look me in the eye. Very bad first impression. No empathy.

Unorganized. Worst office I've been too. Rated 1 star because it wouldn't accept zero stars.

These are the words from Dr Rodriguez mouth after I tried explaining how I felt, sorry I just push pills you have problems see a therapist. How are you going to prescribe meds without listening to your patient. Stopped going because he never listened would always say oh sorry to hear that papa. Told him the medication he was prescribing was not showing up in blood and urine, sorry to hear that papa, and still wrote me the same script. Hope this helps anyone.

I am a patient there and needed information provided to a doctor in Australia while I was at work there. The office told me to fax them a form and they would fax the doctor the letter. I checked in daily and they got no response til days later when they said they had trouble faxing it. Low and behold they can’t fax internationally!!! I wouldn’t be so upset except I had to keep reaching out for status updates on the letter. They did not notify me they had fax challenges. My last email was sent two days ago and I finally stayed awake late enough to call. Their response was that the team had been “trying to help me”. Trying to help me by not responding to my emails??? Yea that is not trying to help.

Do everything you can to avoid this place!!! Everyone keeps leaving and you are stuck constantly rescheduling appointments with new providers that don't accommodate your schedule like your provider that left that did. THEN, heaven forbid you are more than 5 minutes because they cancel your appointment and charge you a cancellation fee! Even if the provider is standing right there! Not seeing a patient! They will STILL charge you and refuse to see you. Refusing to see kids in need when the parent is standing there is HORRIBLE! :(

I have been to many branches of this practice and it doesn't get worse than Orlando Behavioral Health. This has got to be the most unprofessional practice I have ever dealt with. I’ve called and been hung up on so many times I’ve lost count. More often than not, you’ll get transferred to a voicemail and then no one will call you back; I’ve never been so frustrated before. This practice does not care so don’t even bother - only go here as a last resort. I ended up calling my insurance and asking for a referral elsewhere because after three years of stress, I realized it shouldn’t be this complicated and it was affecting my mental health. I’ve seen so many different doctors and counselors because it’s a revolving door - there’s clearly a high turnover so obviously the people who work there hate it too. Don’t waste your time and find help elsewhere.

I went to this facility the day after I got discharged from the hospital. My insurance required me to follow-up with this place, and that is the only reason I even went. My appointment was at 9am, and I had to fill out new patient paperwork. After I completed everything, I didn’t get called back until 10:45, almost two hours of just waiting. Many other got called before me, people that showed up and sat down for 5 minutes got called. The therapist I went to see wasn’t even in her own office, and struggled with remembering what I told her and putting the information in the computer. Overall my experience was very poor, and I am very glad I will not be visiting this facility again.
