Crystal is TERRIBLE! She is the rudest most vile person I’ve ever met. There isn’t anything that could justify her behavior.

I’ve been a patient with this practice for maybe 2 years. I personally can honestly say, I am pleased with my care. I work in the healthcare field as a LPN in an outpatient setting, so I am familiar with the system of this nature. As a patient, I am seen on time, always greeted with a smile and Crystal Alshamai P.A. always makes me feel like she knows me personally. I feel comfortable with her medical competency and any recommendations she makes. She even took proper ethical measures to ensure the safety of me and my kids during one the toughest times in my life. This particular office is out of my way, but I personally choose to make the drive just to see Crystal. I cannot speak for all or what goes on with others but I have observed when I am in the waiting room is that most of these patients have unrealistic demands placed upon these practitioners. Remember, people go out of their way to report the bad and not the good because good is what is expected, once good service is received it’s common for people to continue on with their lives and not comment about it. What’s the old adage? “It’s easier to report the bad and not the good.”

If you need or want help DO NOT go here!!. The ARNP was great. The doctor was horrible. Actually yelled at meSaid they couldn't help me with the doorknob in his hand before he knew anything about me. He did not allow the ARNP to finish giving him my history before he judged me. Absolutely terrible experience. I m surprised they rated even three stars.

I finally had my appointment yesterday after waiting a month (and a month prior waiting for them to send me the link to fill paperwork to then set the appointment) and I ended up seeing a very rude Physicians assistant (Crystal). She made me feel unwelcomed and she changed the 2 medications I took that has given me great results for the last 4 years. I didn’t have an option. At one point in the appointment she told me that she didn’t like the way I was talking when I questioned the exams they wanted me to tale to re-evaluate me when There was no need. She was extremely rude and the reason why I didn’t walk out was because I was going to be out of meds for weeks waiting for a new Dr to see me. To makes matters worst she never sent the prescription to the pharmacy...very disappointing. I am looking for a new Dr. I would highly recommend that physicians periodically evaluate their PAs work and service because it’s their clinic’s reputation what is on the line here.

Crystal is terrible

My doctor retired and I was looking for a replacement which was scary. I had 2 bad experiences before I came to Crystal. One doctor had a sign on their door stating they would do random drug tests on patients to make sure they weren't abusing their medication which I walked right out because that was obviously a pill pusher clinic. The other office I went to was closed during my scheduled appointment. I was scared to even try another Dr. I read the reviews but I wanted to give it a try. First off. Do not listen to the disgruntled patients that said bad things about Crystal. When I walked into the office I was welcomed by both receptionists. They made me laugh and made me feel comfortable which was a pleasant surprise because most psychiatric offices the front desk staff isn't very welcoming, they are judgmental and just aren't friendly. They look miserable working there. At Crystals office, I felt comfortable and I didn't feel judged at all. I met with Crystal who is a Physician's assistant, not a Dr and I was scared but she is super smart. She actually sat there and talked to me and got a lot of my background information. She was very informative on the different types of medications that are out there and she helped me to deter the withdraw symptoms of a medication I was trying to come off of so that I can later on get pregnant. She does continuing education and gathers information for her patients, like me. She went above and beyond to try to help me find a plan so that I can conceive and still feel well mentally and physically which I really appreciate her for. She isn't condescending, she is genuinely a nice and caring person. I am glad I found her because she really knows what she is doing. She has found mistakes that my prior doctor made in one conversation. She is like a detective when it comes to how my medication is making me feel and she finds solutions to problems I am facing. I highly recommend her. Please don't let negative reviews steer you away. I promise that it is 100% false. If you let someone else's negative outlook on life affect your chance at getting excellent care than that's just making a big mistake in your life. Give this office a try. I promise not all offices and/or Dr.s are the same. This office is truly a gem and I am grateful that I found them.

Crystal deserves 0 stars. Overall just downtalks patients. Feels more like a salesperson than a psychiatrist. Gonna go see someone else.

Crystal Alshamai, PA is a wonderful practitioner who has been instrumental in assisting me in getting my life back to normal. She is kind, understanding and really listens. She explained the diagnosis and treatment plan in a plain and concise manner so I was able to completely understand it. On follow-up visits she solicits my input and uses it to determine if any changes in treatment are necessary. There are no games played here, no unnecessary tests or anything else to separate you from your money, I feel she is 100% honest and trust she has my best interests at heart. The staff is also as nice as can be.

Crystal takes care of several members of my family including a minor. She has shown her devotion to her profession by making sure the minor in my family is being cared for properly. She follows up and follows through. She has made a huge difference in our lives.

The Dr only came in to chat, 10 minutes at most After 5 visits, Nurse , whoever, 1/2 increments Just terrible,

I called with several questions. I have no idea if the treating physicians are great or not...the person giving the information on the phone kept cutting me off (and seemed dismissive - why not just redirect me to the website - and be polite about it if you don't know or can't answer a question). I respectfully told her I had a lot of questions and she had been cutting me off - and then she became rude. So, I will find someone else. I'm really tired of rude receptionists! Physicians, take note...if your staff misrepresents you...people will notice.

I've been going to this office for several years now. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. I appreciate Crystle's care and empathy so much. She manages to combine the expertise of her chosen field with understanding of the challenges of living in this world.

This was a terrible experience for me. I should start by saying I am on an extremely high dose of a medication that I have the last of and she knows that and would not see me today for being 4 minutes late, now I have wait and see what the side effects will be for hoing off a medication cold turkey. It took me years to work up the courage to see a psychiatrist, several years before I had been diagnosed with both anxiety and depression. Upon meeting Dr. Crystal Alshamai she was cold and dismissive. When I expressed that I was not completely comfortable with taking certain medications due to bad reactions in the past she became slightly hostile and in a threating manner said she would not be able to help and I should find someone else. This was a tactic she would continue to use if I questioned medication or she did not like what I had to say. She is an absolute pill pusher!!!!! I Expressed I prefer natural ways of coping but would be willing to to try medication. When I told her the medication had adverse affects (sever depression) she uped the dosage in one case by 150%. I became a walking zombie, when i stoped taking most of them on my own recourse people had commented on how my demeanor had changed for the better. What bothered me the most was the reason I had finally made the decision to go was beacuse I had two panic attacks within two-to-three months, and repeatedly had to fight the onsets of them. I have only had six panic attacks in my entire life this was alarming. She took me off of the medication my general physician had me on which worked exuberantly well to put me on something else. What she put me on made me feel high as a kite, like I was on a time delay, it was such an uncomfortable feeling which lasted about 24 hours. She refused to change it and told me take a half after i told her I would never touch it again. She does not listen unless you are talking about hershe can be quite condescending and she pushes medications. That was my personal experience, I can not speak to the relationship she has with others.

Just Sometimes

Dr. Alshamai not only had me in and out in 15min. Bit she called me back minutes BEFORE my appointment time.

I waited a month for my appointment and after reading the reviews I really didn’t want to go but because I waited all this time I was going to go anyway. So when I got there and Crystal was the one who took me back I thought oh great... Crystal wasn’t rude, she didn’t talk down to me. Nothing like the reviews said. She did a great job at explaining everything to me and listening. She was so sweet and understanding. I tried so hard not to tell her that she’s nothing like her reviews but I had to. I usually never leave reviews but I had to this time because if you read her reviews they can be very misleading. So please don’t let the reviews scare you away from coming here.
