To the point where it was interfering with his personal/work life.I found Elevate Psychiatry online and after reading the reviews, decided to take him in. Dr. Bhatia took the time to really get to know him ( I was in the waiting room for almost 2 hours). Sat down for my appointment. The woman was pleasant , talked to her for about 30 minutes until I asked her what school she went to and she responded that she was just the PA. I didn't say anything but I was shocked because the name title for the MD was right in front of her, she never announced that she was a PA and wasn't wearing any indication or a name tag . To get even worse she says that we will face time with the doctor ... she calls the doctor who answers and is DRIVING holding the phone where I can I can barely see him . I said hi and he introduced himself . He didn't ask me any questions, instead the PA and him were talking about my symptoms to each other . After about a two minute FaceTime they came up with the solution / what to prescribe . After I told him some contrary thoughts on it , he disagreed and assured me that what he said was the right thing to do. We hung up and the nice PA prescribed me the medicine . I payed $250 for the appointment for a 2 minute face time with the actual doctor . This was the most unprofessional visit , I have never experienced anything like it before . With a psychiatry appointment it is vital that a trained professional is the one who talks to you and listens in order to understand and I didn't get any of that . Seems like he just makes his PA do his work for him and face times patients to cover him so they can say that the MD met the patients. If you actually want help and treatment , I would not recceomend this place to anyone .

Ok these guys are the absolute best! I’ve been searching for a kind, intelligent psychiatrist for ages and when I happened upon Elevate I was thrilled - the office is mid century modern cool, which is totally my aesthetic, and Jane is sooo friendly - she’s awesome! Dr. Bhatia isn’t your typical psychiatrist either - he’s very attentive, has great listening skills, gives really good advice, and doesn’t push medication like a lot of other doctors I’ve seen. Best psychiatry office in Miami. I had to change a Doctor I had for years as he retired and tried several before finding Dr. Bhatia. My initial interview was as long as I needed. He gave me full attention. I felt very comfortable with the office and the Doctor. I was very relieved as I thought I was not going to find another great Doctor. It's hard to change to a new Doctor in Psychiatry as you develop a rapor with someone who knows you and your ups and downs. I truly feel I have found this again. I had an issue and emailed him and he answered immediately. Soi glad to have a Doctor I can count on especially with personal issues. Highly recommed.

Jane, his office manager, very graciously accommodated a late appointment. During the initial consolation, he listened attentively, asked thorough, thoughtful questions and gave direct, informed explanations - both in the areas of cognitive behavior and medication. I find Dr. Bhatia to be an extremely competent and professional doctor; one who is compassionate, caring, accommodating, and most importantly a good listener. Twice now, I have contacted Elevate Psychiatry seeking professional care. And twice, I have been met with the same very unpleasant experience. I am sorry... but this is not how you run a business, nor is it how you treat people! And people who are suffering, no less. The young lady who works the front desk at Elevate is an absolutely dishonest and unfriendly individual. She is so rude and unprofessional. She is to be a face, essentially, for this company and instead of working with potential patients and being warm and welcoming, she is instead very banal, disconnected, and totally unconcerned thus driving patients away. I recognize people have their days, times get busy, stress gets high... okay. Perfectly fine. But this is two times now, I have been met with the same exact experience and the same exact young lady. I wish I knew her name, but I do not. The only information provided in communications has been the title of "Front Desk". Hmm... I wonder why? If anyone else can read this that works there, please just speak to this young lady. She hung up the phone on me because I began sincerely telling her how I felt and that she was being very rude. I had called before (two months ago) and was met with the same exact thing! I was not openly hostile toward her, but I did have to confront the fact that she was being so cold with me on the phone, and continues to be. I really don't understand what is so hard about answering someone who tells you, "Hi, how are you?" She actually hung up on me and then had the gall to call me back and say, "Sorry, we got disconnected. How can I help you?" I am glad this has happened. I take it as a sign. Again, if this is any reflection of how the doctors are at Elevate... then I don't want their doctors or team of staff giving me psychotropic drugs, and you shouldn't either. FIND SOMEONE ELSE

When I first walked into the building, it had an amazing open lobby and security. I was easily able to go up to the electronic display and see where Elevate was located. I took the elevator up and entered a very beautiful, clean, serene office with hues of turquoise. I was immediately greeted by the receptionist and sat down to wait for my appointment and was provided water. The office felt private. I literally did not even need to wait for more then about 2 minutes until I was called into the office by Dr. Bhatia. He was very professional, respectful. The room had a great view of the new brickell city centre. The couches were new and comfy. I had a wonderful experience as Dr. Bhatia took his time with me and was very detailed and thorough and listened to my needs and I did not feel rushed. I truly had a wonderful experience from entering the the lobby of the building, to the receptionist, and of course with the physician. I highly recommend Dr. Bhatia to anyone that wants a physician who will be available at all times, courteous, professional and up to date on his medical knowledge. I will definitely be returning for regular appointments!

Dr. Bhatia is one of the very best professionals I have ever met. He is experienced, knowledgeable, respectful, attentive to his patient’s needs, as well as he spends an adequate amount of time with his patients targeting the most important issues. Dr. Bhatia is one of a few professionals who provide services of online consultations to accommodate patients who are unable to come to his office. Important to note that his office has a very convenient online scheduling system allowing patients to manage their schedules electronically and independently make changes without spending additional time on a phone. Absolutely recommend Dr. Bhatia services!

Great PA (Polina Dascupto), terrible administrative staff, frustrating pricing. Making an appointment was difficult because the person on the other end was glib and only some of the appointment times work with insurance. Finding the office in the building was a challenge as the office is not clearly marked and the building is huge. Using the iPad to sign in was a long and uncomfortable process- I had to stand the whole time to reach the machine (definitely inaccessible for someone who cannot stand for long periods of time). I asked to fill out paperwork by hand, but they said it was impossible. Then the iPad crashed and they insisted that I fill the paperwork out by hand before I could see the psychiatrist. I arrived over a half hour early and was there for over 2 hours. The guy at the front desk played unsettling pop music and the experience was very stressful. Fortunately, they gave me a discount ($140 instead of $249) for the iPad hassle. Hopefully that means that they’ll have a better system soon. I have seen multiple psychiatrists and I believe that Polina gave me the most accurate diagnosis I’ve ever received. I was very impressed by the way she drew connections and coaxed information out of me instead of wasting time with more forms and basic screenings that rely solely on self-awareness of symptoms. I wish that I could see her again, but unfortunately she does not take insurance, so I will need to switch to someone else in the practice. Pro tip: they turn their phones off at 5 but don’t actually leave until closer to 9, so send an email if you need help in that time. Ultimately I’d recommend this place based on Polina’s competency.

My fault- I arrived 15 mins late to my appointment (combination of bad planning, and there is another building with the same name right next door, and suite is on a different floor than was listed online). However, I was willing to pay the full price for a shorter session, but the therapist refused to see me even though she has allotted an hour to my apt. Granted, the receptionists did try to accommodate a different time, but it felt wrong that the therapist would not even be willing to briefly meet, even to say hello, considering I was there already. After taking time off work and waiting 2 weeks for the appointment, this was very disappointing, and I left feeling worse than before booking.

Dr. Padam Bhatia is best the best psychiatrist I’ve ever had since i was 17 years old diagnosed with bipolar disorder, adhd, general anxiety disorder and later on to be treated by him for opioid dependence disorder with Suboxone as he’s a qualified provider unlike most physicians/psychiatrists who can’t prescribe the medication. Out of all the doctors I’ve had he’s the most knowledgeable about every medication and disorder, very professional, kind, thoughtful and compassionate about the care he gives to his patients. I don’t see him in office but in psychiatry, although my insurance no longer wants to cover but it well worth the $108 I Pay a month or every few months depending on what you’re being treated for and the medication used to see him. Every other doctor I’ve had was either rude, judge mental, quick to diagnose, acted like they knew your body/symptoms more than you, and just spoke with you for 5 minutes without even looking at you and handed a script not worrying about the risks over the benefits of each treatment given.He actually cares. He works with you both to himself to come up with the best treatment plan unlike other doctors who only go by what THEY think. He also has a patient portal website that shows all your notes and records and you can even chat with him thru there between appointments about medication changes, side effects, etc and he’ll answer within 24 hours with the best care. Also his assistant Jane is very kind and helpful in the duties any doctor couldn’t do with workoverload. I give them 5 stars and highly recommend if you live in or close Miami to see him or if you’re in the state of Florida to do telemedicine. Best regards, Trey.

It was very hard for me to find an affordable but yet skilled doctor here in Miami. Before I met Dr. Bhatia i was on 5 medications and living off disability, now I'm only on 2 and I have a full time job. He's a real compassionate doctor, and when I found I had to move to Orlando I was still able to do sessions with him through webcam. I'm very blessed that he's my doctor
