My son was seeing him, and then we stopped for about 6 months. I called to make another appointment, and the secretary says "It says here to not make an appointment for your son" in a somewhat irritated voice. I asked why and she said "I don't know". So, again I said okay I understand you don't know but can I ask someone who does know? She said "The doctor probably said so". Now it was obvious she was very irritated that I was still trying to get more information. Finally, I asked if someone in charge could call me back and she said "Yeah I'll write a note". After a pause I asked if she needed my phone number, because in my head I know I'm divorced and they might have my ex's number, but she said "It's probably in the system already". I said can I give you my number so we can make sure it's the right one, and she said "Yeah, fine". Before I got off the phone I said as calm as I could that if she's answering phones she could be a little more polite because she was very rude to me. Then she paused and hung up on me.
If you're the first person someone has to interact with at a place of business you should not have an attitude and talking rude to people.
This is a place for treatment of mental health problems. If you're going to flat out refuse treatment to a child in need then at least have an explanation. But just refusing to treat someone is uncalled for.
I wish I got that secretary's name, but I didn't even think about it.
