Reattached a tendon that pulled off the bone in my arm. 5 months later, outside of a nice scar, the arm is pretty much back to normal. So, super happy, as the surgery was a success. The Dr. has a nice bedside manner and is a fairly easy to reach. All things considered, nothing to complain about with Dr. Fernandez. My result is excellent. Update 06/27/2018: bicep is solid! I ride my dirt bike without any issues and I've been at the gym the last 18 months lifting weights. The bicep is just as good as the other one that I've never damaged. I couldn't ask for a better result. This is good doctor, he listens, and doesn't roll his eyes at your questions. Update 03/26/2019: Still hitting the gym pretty hard and the bicep is solid. No pain, no dysfunction, no holding me back. Good job doc!

We came to see Dr. Schwartz for a second opinion after my wife was recommended for surgery. My wife broke her wrist and the orthopaedic surgeon we visited said that the only way to line her bones back up is with surgery, that was a complete lie. Dr Schwartz was able to do it without surgery!!!! This doctor is truly amazing!!! It was the most painful things my wife ever experienced but she said it was completely worth it!!!! Dr. Schwartz is not just a phenomenal physician, he is also honest and will do and advise the patient with ALL their options. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a hand and wrist surgeon (specialist) in Tampa!
