This place should be shut down, or at least Dr Sajan should be. Just look at Google for real reviews. 1.5 stars on Google. 1.5 stars on Healthgrades out of 83 reviews which is the worst rating I found for a Psychiatrist. Doctor Sajan will spend about 3 minutes with you ONLY AFTER she gets your $250, only to try and change meds that work already, most likely she's getting kickbacks from the drug companies as this practice is run strictly for the money with no care in the world about your mental health. 2 hour wait is standard. You will talk to a Physician assistant for 20 minutes or so (at least they have a heart unlike the doctor), then Dr Sajan just might give you 4 minutes of her time as she has 10 other patients waiting, half the customers were complaining amongst each other as the other half were just too old to know any better. This place is just a sad excuse for psychiatric care. I needed an appointment and she was the only one available, now I know why as the waiting room was full due to taking anyone she can get as most DON'T return once they realize they've been ripped off. I don't think she actually has a heart, acts more like a heartless robot. I must say this is the worst experience I've ever had at any Doctor's office and her real reviews on Google speak the truth. 1.5 stars out of 82 reviews on Healthgrades. 1.5 stars on Google. DON'T BE A VICTIM LIKE I WAS AND SO MANY OTHERS, there is many good doctors out there so do your research because I forgot to and I paid the price of a complete quack, yes she's the typical quack that all the horror stories come from. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

I cannot understand how one doctor could have so many BAD reviews!? I almost made an appointment for my granddaughter before deciding to look at her reviews. Thank God I did! Why is it that no formal complaints have been made by all you people that are posting here? If, indeed, the doctor and the facility cleanliness is so inferior, there should be someone 'looking into it' should there not? It is so wonderful that this type of forum is available to us in today's world. Although I realize there will always be SOME bad reviews on almost any doctor, this is a complete blow-out! Not EVERYONE can be wrong!

This place should be shut down for negligence and malpractice. My boyfriend was a patient here for PTSD, anxiety, and depression. They know how severe his condition is. They literally see him every week. (After over 20 visits and a PHP program, you would think they could find a medication regimen that would work.) They verbally agreed to fill out his FMLA paperwork. He delivered it to the office, told them the due date, and the office has since then, avoided his question as to if it was sent in to the insurance company. Numerous phone calls and personal visits to the clinic and no one can answer if and when it was submitted. Fast forward to three days past the due date for the paperwork and he gets a letter that his FMLA request was denied because they never got the paperwork and now his job is in jeopardy! He's in a full-fledged panic attack at his job, at a greater risk for another heart attack, blood pressure through the roof, and in worse shape than he ever was before going to this clinic. If you want treatment, do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague! A word of advice to the doctor here: Don't take any new patients if you cant treat the ones that you have.

I'm forced to give it one star it should be zero. This place is a sham. Nothing more than a script farm, where patients are overbooked, forced to wait excessively long waiting room times only to never get to see a physician to discuss their mental health issues. They see a PA, are issued a prescription, given a few places to call to talk to a therapist, and charged $79. This place is everything that's wrong with the mental health industry.

Do not recommend and will never return. After waiting for an hour and a half past my original appointment time, Dr. Sajan finally got around to seeing me. She barely asked me any questions, but focused primarily on the questionare I filled out prior to the appointment. Instead of paying attention to the main issues I've been currently experiencing, she focused only on two minor symptoms that had nothing to do with my primary issues. After she made her diagnosis (after only seeing me for only ten or so minutes), she would not elaborate how my primary symptoms (that I originally made the appointment for in the first place) connected with her diagnosis. She was unsympathetic, unprofessional, and completely incompetent. An awful waste of time and money. Now I know why the waiting time for an appointment was so short. I'll be finding another psychiatrist and get some help for issues I actually need help for.

Super long wait, require so many tests just to be seen, this practice needs to be shut down permanently.

Worst doctor and staff I ever had to go through, they should not have a licence to practice, people`s lives are at stake. I won`t go into more detail, because the other review`s are identical to my experience. I wish I had read these reviews before going there.

The people that work here go out of their way to make the client feel as terrible about their situation as possible. This office is in my network and my former Doctor passed away from cancer so I had no choice and had to move on, quickly. I never expect to be treated poorly bc that has not been my prior experience at any Doctors office I have visited so I was a bit shocked to say the least. I am a very loyal patient so when I find a good one I stay. The guy I saw (Daniel) about the medication seemed knowledgable until I figured out he thought I was someone else and went into the appointment without at least reading notes from my prior visit. He also mentioned they do not take my insurance which was also not correct. He had to go and check, then said most people are liars so he has to double check most of the time (good to know). In my experience treating people with respect and honesty will get you quite far and save u trouble later when karma comes knocking. I certainly hope the staff learn how to do their jobs correctly and when they are wrong admit it instead of being mean and vindictive. Unfortunately, they are just uneducated and do not know how to communicate. My impression is this office sees a lot of turnover in staff and patients, maybe the Doc has instilled an attitude that all patients are drug seekers and should be treated like criminals. This behavior drives the clients that truly need help to make appointments with other more reliable and empathetic practices. The entire experience just exacerbated my issues and I am feeling more anxious and depressed as ever, however, I am happy I figured it out so I have some time to find a real Doctor based on referrals from family and friends. If you don't mind being yelled at by the so called PA who doesn't remember you and makes excuses that he (has a lot of patients) and dealing with underpaid and under educated minions this is the place for you.

It is a circus.. 20 minute wait past my appointment time only to be asked the same questions as I filled out in the new patient paperwork. Then low and behold a PA came to talk to me which I had been very specific that is not what I wanted. Then after she said this she said that the doctor comes in and starts the same bleeping question! Avoid this place at all cost.. you want help with things going on in your life this is not the place! This doctor needs to realize it takes a lot for people to reach out for help and she wants to mask what she does as help??? Please save yourself a lot of wasted time even to just feel out the paperwork! I lost 4 people in 7 months your physician assistant wasn't what I asked for.. a DOCTOR was what I asked for save yourself because here isn't helpful!

This practice needs to be investigated by the authorities. Girlfriend has been going for a few months and always leaves more upset. I tagged along to a recent visit and was appalled. My poor gf had never been to a Psychiatrist before and thought her treatment was normal. PA didn't even read the intake file which included thoughts of self harm. I was disgusted by the way my gf was treated. The PA was gruff and a bully and literally rolled her eyes at one of my GFs questions. These are pill pushers at their worst and they give psychiatry a bad name. I love my shrink but my gf's insurance doesn't cover. Please value your mental health enough not to see these sorry excuses for mental health "professionals".

STAY AWAY! This place is an absolutely hell hole. First thing you notice when you walk through the door is how FILTHY it is. Waiting area, offices, hallways are drab, dirty and poorly lit (our town's tax collector's office is more inviting than that). That "theme" is reflective of the people who run this place...the PA"s are terrible-Melissa has "bedside manner" of a toll booth attendant, Daniel is flat out a dishonest person. When you meet the "head honcho", Dr. Sajan, it all makes sense. That woman truly lacks professionalism, compassion and basic human decency. I felt compelled to write this review even though I WAS NOT A PATIENT of this clinic. My wife was and I witnessed first hand how she was treated. We ran away from this hell hole as soon as we could and fortunately were able to find an excellent Dr. to administer her care. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

This place is an absolute joke. You see a different provider every time you go, and they give you a max of 15 minutes. Not a place you want to go for mental health. I'm honestly not sure how this place is still in business. It's like a patient mill. Don't waste your money or your time. Find a doctor where you actually SEE the doctor when go in for appointments.

Barbara Carroll

I have to say I just set a new patient appointment. The staff on the phone when a appointment was a month out seen I wasn't doing and got me a appointment in 3 day's. So far they are on point. Thanks for being polite and caring on the phone. Going to meet my doctor in person. Then follow up at the New Port Richey office on Ridge Road. To the people's writing bad reviews. You should of had my last doctor. Today is 7/11/2019 Just following up with my review. I just got to say I had a 5

Wedja Souza

Who deleted all of her positive reviews? I've been going for almost half a year and even when I've arrived a little late, I never waited for more than 20 minutes. It is usually about a 10 minute wait, if that. She is very professional, along with her PAs, and no one has ever been anything but courteous with me. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a psychiatrist, especially if you don't want to wait several months for an appointment. Does her job well and so does everyone who works with her.

Jamie Edwards

Horrible place to go. This doctor treated me and my husband with such disrespect. I truely feel this was the worst place I could have went. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to go here. It is a joke.... unless you want to be drugged up. They did not listen to me and my personal experience without just assuming I needed drugs. They just seem to want to push people through and not pay attention to ones needs in my experience. Then they over charged me and made me pay a new patient fee for absolutely nothing the last time I went there.

K H

After being rescheduled once, having them blow up my phone to confirm my new appointment time I get a phone call 30 minutes later, the evening before my scheduled time, saying they actually can't keep the appointment and need to reschedule. Highly frustrating and unprofessional. How are you so disorganized that my appointment is screwed up twice, once just after you confirm it's set?

Chrystal Fair

Run! Run as fast as you can away from this doctor!! Just after the money wants to come in every two weeks not change meds halftime you don't see her after waiting two and a half hours!! She is a terrible doctor and does not care about people at all! She made me worse!!!

TOTAL POS! GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

Joshua Szlasa

Just a passing of the old office and even at the new office location a passing glance will tell you all you need to know about this place, and that is the real money is in making rich people look skinnier or tanner, or you know getting rid of the dreaded cellulite. Do not trust your mental health and well-being to this clinic. Dr Sajan, and I am reticent to actually call them a doctor, has shown very clearly that the priority is to get money in the door. They treated my mom and could not get her meds correct, including putting her on meds that had direct interactions with long pre-existing conditions. You will wait at least an hour past your appointment time, at least at the new location you won't spend the long time in a sardine-can office waiting room, but will still be waiting well past the appointment time consistently. Do not let your loved ones or own mental health be put at risk by subjecting yourself to their "care". Incorrect meds can lead to many different issues, especially when it comes to chemical imbalances. Go to almost any other doctor in Pinellas or Pasco.

I dont know why people complain, never waited 2 hours, staffing great, you eventually see the doctor.

I went to Dr Sajan when I was in a deep dark depression. After trying several medications and having no success, she recommended TMS. I was very scared and skeptical about it but was desperate to feel better so I decided to try the treatment. It was a commitment of 6 to 7 weeks every day for about 20 minutes. My technician, Hailey, was like an angel to me. Not only was she friendly, gentle and knowledgeable but she listened to my fears, laughed with me when I laughed and comforted me when I cried. I actually looked forward to going to the sessions because I knew my “friend” would be there. Hailey definitely supported me through a very difficult and scary time in my life and I will forever be grateful to her for that. I am thankful that i had the opportunity to meet and work with Dr Sajan and her technician Hailey.

Truly a waste of time and money for me, and this office got me absolutely nowhere. I've been a health and fitness professional for over 30 years with a clean diet, lifestyle, and no prior health concerns. Yet this office requires an EKG, expansive drug tests and testing by other businesses for evaluation. When I already had that from my previous medical doctor. So why go to this firm and share your personal information? I, like others would rate this Doctor's practice a zero if possible. I am a grieving mom who lost her son two years ago, who was just hoping to stay happy and focused at work as I pondered the anniversary of my son's death and birth which falls in the same week. I pity anyone that gets stuck in this money trap, and if you're really expecting immediate help. You can fly yourself anywhere in the U.S. to go see your medical doctor for what it may cost you for these unnecessary tests. I also should have taken the time to read the previous reviews, and waited for a true professional that has good reviews and would confirm what I am posting.

Waited weeks to get in and didn’t even see the actual doctor- the PA decided it was a good idea to switch my meds to something that gave me 5X worse side effects than the thing I was on that was only producing one bad side effect- after telling her I had a 2 year old at home and she tells me the new stuff will probably give me headaches and insomnia and did not give me a matching sleep aid AND has the same side effects that I was trying to get away from with the first stuff... SHES NOT EVEN THE DOCTOR- I don’t recommend anybody to go here Ever

Dr. Sajan's "practice" is kind of a joke. You're seen by a PA (I saw Natalie who was very nice), asked a few questions & then told what rx you meet the criteria for. I come from the mental health field & know the diagnostic criteria for most mood & anxiety disorders. The doctor did not meet with me or ask me any questions at all which I find highly unprofessional. Natalie (the PA) told me that she did not have any mental health background & seemed taken aback when I told her what my educational background was, which I did at the end of the appt. When Dr. Sajan finally came in the room, she said she reviewed Natalie's notes and agrees with her treatment plan. The woman did not care who I was or what I was there for. She relied on Natalie's notes. As pleasant & professional as Natalie was, I find the way Dr. Sajan runs her business to be inappropriate & unprofessional. I will not be returning.

Worst phyciatrist I’ve ever had. She forgot my name one time, never knew which medicine she had put me on. Every time I came I saw someone different, one of the “students”. Accused me of being a drug addict, switched my meds every time I had to visit. Had no insurance and had to pay cash every time I went and they made me see her every 2 weeks to be able to fill my meds regardless. Had to wait 2 hours once. Not even enough chairs in the waiting room for all the people crammed into the room. Told me I wasn’t old enough to be diagnosed with anything (I’m 19). My mom comes with me to my appointments because of social anxiety. My mother brought up my Suicide attempt I had done under dr. sijans care in April and she raised her voice at my mother saying “we’re not talking about that.” Sijan could not care less if you get better, she’s just focused on writing the scripts and getting her paycheck and when you meet her you will become very aware of this. Would not recommend to anyone, especially younger adults who have trouble speaking up for themselves. Also talks over you and twists all your words. Wish I could leave 0 stars.

I have been coming to this office for over a year and I can honestly say it is likely the most disorganized, unprofessional and disgraceful establishment I have worked with. The staff is downright rude and belittle patients who have legitimate questions about the care being provided. They will come up with any and every reason to schedule as many office visits as is legally allowable by your insurance company with no consideration to those working full-time and not getting paid for missed work. Not once have I waited less than an hour to be seen and most times it is 90 minutes after your scheduled appointment before you are called back. I am seen by a different P.A. each time I visit as it seems they cannot keep consistent staff for any length of time. I did not meet the elusive Dr. Sajan until I demanded a face-to-face consult (due to a major mix-up in my standing script order) and this well after having been a patient there for over a year. On my last office visit, I became fed up with having waited YET AGAIN for 75 minutes past my scheduled appt and requested copies of my medical records informing staff I would be taking my business elsewhere. Moments later, Dr. Sajan appeared and asked that I please give her another chance and that she would make a persoanl note on my chart that I should not wait longer than 10 minutes for my appts. I agreed with hope this request would be honored yet, sadly, just another attempt to keep the $$ coming through the door. My recommendation, trust your psychiatric care to ANY OTHER doctor in Pinellas or Hillsboro County as the care could NOT be any worse than what is provided at Dr. Dinar Sajan's office.

My last Doctor retired, so I cam across the sleeziest scam artist, and the biggest waste of time, I have ever had. I have been prescribed adderall for 5 years, with all proof and documentation from my previous doctor. After filling out an hour's worth of paperwork (assessment: $250), I waited almost another hour to be evaluated for my medicine. I was asked a bunch of questions by Natalie (very nice/cool girl), which took another half hour. At the end, I was told that I had to take all sorts of tests 10 miles away (EEG/EKG), to spend more money on Doctors who just-so-happen to be his AFFILIATES ($$ in all of their pockets! I have been prescribed by 3 different doctors over the years, and all of whom do a quick evaluation (10-15 minutes tops), give me my script, and then I pick it up. Do not waste your time, energy, nor your money on this place. P.S.- In the middle of Natalie assessing me, I told her I didn't want to be their patient anymore, went to the front desk to ask for my $250 back, and they refused to do so.

I wish I would have read these reviews before I wasted $250 and a day of my time. I am going to try to tell you my story without making it obvious as to which patient I am at because I already feel like there is going to be backlash towards me. First off I was only seeking a new provider because my other Psychiatrist is no longer in private practice. I came to them with all of my prescriptions from my previous provider. I was belittled about the medications that he had had me on and the dosage that I was taking. I have been completely stable on his medications for over four years. I was then belittled because of my profession. And I was told that it was unsafe for me to take these medications while doing my job. After careful consideration of the way that I was treated I am playing scenarios in my head. If I had a heart problem and my cardiologist put me on medication that I was stable on I cannot see a new cardiologist changing that medication. I also cannot see where I would be told that I am not capable of doing my job properly if I am taking my medication as directed. Keeping in mind I have been completely stable and able to do my job on these medications for four years. Next I was told that I would have to take a drug test to receive my script. If I did the drug test in the office it would be an additional $250 or I could go to a lab to have the drug test for $50 but then I would have to wait an additional week to get my prescriptions refilled (and pay for another office visit). A drug test was never mentioned when I called to schedule my self pay appointment. This would have been nice to know. I would have been more than willing to pay the $250 to have the drug test done right then had I budgeted for the additional cost. I ended up breaking down crying in the middle of the office feeling like I had no real options available to me to receive my prescriptions. After reading all of these reviews I’m seriously surprised that she did not Baker act me as I was almost hysterical. Not in the oh my God I need my medication I can’t live without them; But in the oh my God where am I going to come up with this money and I can't believe I spent $250 I didn't have for nothing. Needless to say the treatment plan is going to eventually take me off of the medications that I am currently stable on as well as Cost me an additional $160-250. So I guess if I want to keep my sanity I'll just find a new doctor again.

DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR WITH YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. I was seen for an inital evaluation today and within 10 mins of her talking with me the doctor was already suggesting electro shock therapy. She judged me on my religious beliefs and practices and asked if my doctor told me to refrain from sucrose because I was "fat" ( those words verbatim) The doctor wrights papers on mental illness and is just looking for new guinea pigs. When I told them we would not be having a patient client relationship she signed papers to have me baker acted. Mind you without even knowing my history, situation, or seeing any prior medical documents from my previous doctors. I will be contacting a lawyer and fililng formal complaints with the medical board as well as my insurance company. I have never been ostracized in such a way in all my life. This is the problem with psychiatry today. Doctors and therapists do not care about the patient only insurance, pushing pharmaceuticals, and making a name for themselves.

king spice

Waited over 3 hours my initial appointment time just to be baker acted. I see people saying she is a pill pusher and honestly I wouldve preferred that over her baker acting me!!! I was not suicidal and told them over and over I had no intention of hurting myself or others and she didn't listen. Before she even started the paperwork I was told I was not allowed to leave the premises. They treated me like a dangerous criminal when all I wanted was some help with my mental health. After she baker acted me she REFUSED to sit down and talk to me and when she did she talked over me, twisted my words, blatantly lied about what I said, and treated me very poorly. Her practice is supposed to be about helping people and all she did was traumatize me. I now have a fear of female doctors and psychiatrists in general. Please save yourself the hurt and go to a different practice. I wish I had read the reviews before coming to her practice. Save yourselves while you can and give a more worthy practice your time and money.

Katelyn Davis

Talked to 3 different assistants before I even met the Doctor. Went 5 times and didn’t receive the medicine they were saying I needed. Waste of time and money

Sage Bohannon

You’ll never talk to the actual doctor, none of them care anyway. They’re pill pushers. Dinar Sajan deserves zero stars.

Marisa Kopera

We were kept waiting for close to one hour - after having arrived ON TIME - for our first appointment. No apologies, nothing. The waiting room was PACKED. There wasn't a free seat. Obviously this office overbooks patients. On top of that, she came in wearing flip-flops and talked over me - she literally told me she had no time to read a summary of our issues because "if she did that for everyone, nobody would get help." She was condescending and short. The icing on the cake was finding out that she is also the Medical Director for a family-owned TEETH WHITENING AND LASER HAIR REMOVAL SPA. That would explain why she doesn't have time to learn what her patients' complaints and needs are. Will not be returning. Waste of our afternoon and wrong meds were prescribed anyhow. They did not help at all and I get the sneaking suspicion she doesn't care anyway.

Atom Earth

Absolutely terrible. I've been prescribed same medication for 10 years and she was not allowing me to go off my track record. Took my $210 and didn't prescribe me anything. Thieves.

Matt Schaefer

I was a patient of this practice for around 6 months for medication management strictly. I received an explanation of benefits from my insurance company that billed me for 2 separate services for one 10 minute visit, where I saw one person, whom isn't a doctor nor does she have mental health certifications she is strictly a Physicians assistant. The lady who handles billing said I received psychotherapy, which is the treatment of mental disorder by psychological rather than medical means, odd, since all that was done is ask if there was get asked if my medication was still working okay and my prescription was called into Walgreens..I have never met Dr. Sajan, but my bill always said I did. Probably because the two physicians assistants I have seen aren't certified to practice psychotherapy. They also will bill insurance about $180 more than what the cash pay rate is, my total out of pocket cost after my insurance paid them is $30 dollars more than what the cash pay rate is. I was never alerted of any of this, never saw one financial piece of information from them. It is 100% illegal to bill at a different amount than what your "cash pay rate" is. This place is good for walking in and out with a prescription quickly, that's it. If you truly need clinical help or true therapy, please I beg you, do NOT go here.

theresa david

Horrible, Horrible, HORRIBLE. Had a confirmed appointment for today only to be called and told that Its not available AFTER i booked and then told that an appontment 2 weeks from now is available! 2 weeks! Seriously - how will that help me- ???? I would be fine if the apprt was not BOOKED. Unprofessional, unacceptable. People come here for help and they could care less. 2 weeks. Next stop BBB. Not right.

Uma Whitt

Pill pusher. Extremely disconnected.

they say, when you need it, ask for help. it's a lie. mental health in this state has become a luxury for well-to-do families and individuals. i showed up for an appointment at the Port Richey location, not only had i not been told that i'd be talking to a screen, but i had no idea this provider is a scam. i sat and bore my soul to this lady, without a diagnosis she told me she was going to move forward with a mood stabilizer, paxil or seroquel. after i explained to her that in my experience personally and having recieved an education in human services, the potential risks of taking an SSRI or SNRI far exceeded the benefits. after bearing my soul to this woman, after opening up to a level of vulnerability i would never otherwise allow myself to exhibit in response to HER questioning, after sharing my stance on SSRI/SNRI's, after just having gone over all of the reasons i was there and how troubled and in need of help i am, she says, "well why are you here?" there truly is no help when a provider doesn't have a powerful profit motive. there is a plethora of other medications and doctors i could have been referred to, what she did was despicable. i'm currently looking at my options of going into litigation against this chain of clinics and will not rest until, at the very least, her license to practice is revoked for at least a legnthy period of time. i spoke to a supervisor at the Oldsmar location who promised to call me back on a conference call with Sanjar him/herself so we could discuss how this could be resolved, that was on thursday and i have not heard back. i will give them one more chance to speak to me and attempt to resolve this, but more than likely both Sanjar and the "screen lady" will be reported to the ABPN and Tallahassee as i seek litigation for damages. if you are in need of help, do ask...just don't ask this office or any of their associated clinics. go to baycare no matter what the wait is, try anywhere but here.

Randi Morten

Changed the quality of my life. Very nice and helped me so much. If you're looking for therapy sessions go for a psychologist, this is a doctor psychiatrist she helps prescribe you with medications for mental illnesses

Megan Mota

Went one time and will never go back. It was a waste of time. I have waited over 1 month for them to call me back about test results and to schedule another appointment. Have called weekly with false promises to return my calls. No one returns my calls. Their customer service is appalling. If I treated my patients this way I would have zero. I should've read the reviews first.

Fran Zapart

Horrible doctor.. cares only about getting patients in and out... I’ve been under psychiatric care for over 30 years . Moved here and started seeing this doctor , or more accurately, a litany of PA’s some of which were competent but held on a very short lease by dr sajan. She is extremely uncaring . Patients are merely a means to fill her pockets ... please take my advice... there are plenty of good doctors out there. Take your time and research your options. Do not go to her.

Kyle Gruber

This doctor diagnosed me with clinical depression and then would not sign my paper work for FMLA leave after both the assistant and staff told me prior to the appointment my paper work would be signed but she then refused. Then she also told me my next appointment would not cost as much as my first appointment and that was a lie. Don't use this doctor If I could leave zero stars I would.

Nancy Johnson

This place should be closed down. I do think it's a pill mill to get you in and out as fast as possible. My first visit , my husband went with me and it gave him the creeps, too. My first visit went like this: a tech entered all my information into a computer and I was sent back to the waiting room. About ten or fifteen minutes later I was called back to see the doctor. When I walked in, she never looked up. She was typing about 90 wpm. After about two minutes she glanced up from the form I'd filled out and said, "You have all this?" Making reference to the boxes I'd checked. I nodded and said yes. About two minutes later she says, "Stop the Welbutrin and double the Paxil. You will probably want some counseling but we are booked until July, so you might want to go somewhere else." I was led to the front desk and they made an appointment for a recheck with a PA. When I went to that visit it was more like a "These are the rules. We do random urine checks, we don't prescribe more than 3mg of Xanax for one day and I see you're already on 3mg so we will not be raising it," The next day my anxiety level SOARED to the roof. I was having panic attacks, couldn't leave the house, etc. the only thing that had changed was stopping the Welbutrin cold turkey. I went to the Internet to find articles on Wellbutrin withdrawl. I WAS HAVING ABOUT 7 OUT OF 10 OF THOSE SYMPTOMS. I started myself back on it the next day and started looking for another psychiatrist and a counselor. I found an awesome one at Florida Behavioral Medicine in Clearwater. First appoint with her was an hour and a half. She changed my meds making sure to wean me off Paxil. She took the time to write it all out. Met my counselor last Tuesday. Love her! STAY AWAY FROM DINAR SANJAN's practice.

Being a physician i am constantly shocked at how bad some doctors are. This is the second poor physician I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with in approx a month....In 11 years of seeing physicians for this diagnosis I have not written a bad review but feel these doctors deserve it. I have ADHD and for 11 years, and have been on the exact some dose (which is also the lowest dose) since the beginning. I am on no other medications and a very healthy person. Over this time I have been seen by only 3 doctors. One followed me for 7 years, one for 3 and one for 2. The only reason I changed is due to moving. I have found floridian doctors to be very guarded when it comes to writing for adderall, despite being able to find my hx online with a website that shows controlled substance hx an to speak with my past physician. So I allowed the last doctor to send me to a psychiatrist stating that she could do what my doctor in oklahoma did and write for 6 months at a time (post dating them to the month each could be filled with the understanding if it was lost that I could not get another script)...The psych office called and stated I would need EKG, labs, recent psych eval...I explained I am a doctor and my record with past doctors and that I would not spend my time or money on seeing them if these were required, the office called me back in a day or two and stated no they were not required and to come in. So mind you I already spent 3 hours in a PCP office to get told I needed to be seen elsewhere and paid their copay and informed that doctor I wanted to stay locally in downtown saint pete. I agree to go see doctor sajanw and drive 40 minutes and pay a 40 dollar co-pay and then wait over an hour to be brought back...after that a PA starts to list all the things needed....so I inform her of what I was told by the front desk... then the doctor comes in and says basically no the front desk didn't say that and that no she won't be adapting anything despite my history and background. I called back to ask for a refund (which I have NEVER done before but it was completely principle based after being lied to and forced to waste hours out of my day). An man with an indian accent proceeded to scream and me and demean me and blame me. This doctor is running a mill factory for the mentally ill and has completely unethical front staff desk that when made aware of she seems to not care about.

ThePAD AT DULLES

If I could rate it zero stars, I would. Wait times are completely unacceptable (waiting 90minutes beyond my scheduled appointment to be seen on my first visit). Left my second appointment and waited at the reception window for 12mins (yes they saw me standing there) before I walked out. Zero respect for my time as a patient nor any respect for my well being in regards to a treatment plan. These people are here to turn and burn patients to collect their money.

My daughter has been going to this clinic for about a month and half now. Not once (after 4-6 visits) has she been able to see the real doctor. I think this place is really more about pill dispensing and collecting money from people who are so desperate to feel better about their lives. $40 a week (with insurance) and she has been on 4 different medications. When she expressed her concern and asked about the terrible side effects of one of the drugs, the PA told her to Google it. They when she questioned the PA's knowledge because she said this, the PA said "if you don't like what i have to say you can go somewhere else". Then as she was walking out the door she said "Oh by the way you will see someone else when you come back." Such arrogance! Patients with anxiety, depression and bi-polar issues should trust these people to help them feel better about life??? Sad...very sad! I guess its a great place for those that just want to get pills to mask the problem, but not if you want to ask questions and get guidance and counseling. Or to see a doctor. In the process of looking elsewhere. Any suggestions from others who have left this place?

Anastasia McGee Montoya

Waste of my $20 co pay! Seemed like a Doc in the box pill pusher to me. I though it was just me having this feeling but it looks like others had the same impression. Sad that people are searching for help and the feeling of being left empty handed is like a slap in the face.

Retracting my review on this doctor. Horrible practice, I was seen 1 time , get to meet the doctor for 30 seconds , the assistant has no comunication with the acting doctor! The assistant changes medicines on a first visit without approval from the doctor , made me so ill from the switch of medicine that caused my throat to close up and stop breathing. Luckily I had a epi pen injector to counter the reaction saved my life. Take my word for it , dont see this doctor or practice . I am not a patient of their previous doctor and I am not a med seeker. I went in for anxiety and PTSD with some depression and they took me off a medication that worked for years just fine for my depression and against all medical records that show 100 percent proof or the need to stay on it, mostly bc of alergies reasons which was stated before they changed it. Also they never took the time to look for my medical records before changing medicines! This is not a disgruntled employee making this review so dont let the office staff tell u otherwise and make up lame excuses. 100 percent honestly speaking all I said is 100 percent true. In my opinion the office staff are current patients most likely . Most of them need to be seeing a doctor themselves. Totally disgusting they way their office unprofessionally handles new patients, I was lured in after canceling the first apointment by a person working for their staff that was very conning in nature . STAY AWAY FROM THE PRACTICE THERE, unless u want damages .

Christian O'Donnell

I AM GIVING 1 STAR BECAUSE ZERO STARS IS NOT POSSIBLE. SAJAN IS A REAL SCUMBAG AND WANTS TO KEEP PTS ON DRUGS AND COMING BACK FOR LONG WAITS AND ATTITUDE. SHE DOES NOT PROVIDE SERVICE AND PADS THE BILL AND FLIPS OUT WHEN YOU ASK ANYTHING. OFFICE STAFF GOING ALONG WITH IT. THIS IS A VERY SHADY HUMAN BEING AND NOTHING MORE THAN A LICENSED DRUG DEALER. DO NOT GO HERE EVER, FOR ANYTHING.

Ashley Rees

I've never felt worse leaving a psychiatrist office. The PAs think they know everything and just adjusted my prescription without my approval. Even after telling her I didn't want to go any lower yet she cut my dosage in half again. If it wasn't such a hassle to change doctors I would have done in years ago. Now I've had enough and am looking into different doctors.

Jadore Malika

Sajan Dinar is by far THEE WORST psychiatrist and human being I’ve ever come across. I felt like I was in a third world country; stay AWAY from this place!!!!

L D

They had no problem getting me in real quick for my $50 co-pay for my consultation but when I left I got the runaround kept calling for an appointment and they kept giving me the runaround to have these random tests done. Don’t waste your time.

Shaun Hussey

I had a 10:30AM appointment it is now 2:30pm in the afternoon. There is not as much as a vending machine or place to get a drink of water. The waiting room was filled so bad they ran out of chairs and old folks where on the floor sitting it's a 10ft by 12ft room you Wate in for a DAY... They need serious order and more space for the clients. There are also 3 other doctors in this tiny office. It was bad.

Christi Kilpatrick

Waited over 90 minutes. Extremely unprofessional office.

Shelly Wanta

I changed insurance after getting married this year and Dr Sajan’s practice was in-network. I had a 2 pm appointment and was not seen until 3:30 pm. There was an excessive amount of paperwork to fill out and the fees for visits are over $100. I was seen my a PA student, a PA, both whom were nice but dr sajan is the prescriber and decision maker for medication and I spoke with her for 30 seconds. Thankfully everyone but Dr Sajan were kind, and empathetic towards my condition but I’d seek treatment elsewhere if possible

Tara Still

Spent an hour and a half there and NEVER saw the psychiatrist with whom I had an appointment!

DO NOT GO HERE! If you have any mental health issues at all please avoid this place at all costs. This place has zero respect for their patients and the very real illnesses that they have. If you see them advertised online as Dr Dinar Sajan beware that the real name of this business is Health & Medspa. The psychiatrist that you trust with your mental health is also peddling facials and skin care. Do I go to my optometrist for a pedicure?? I made it through five appointments before bailing and I saw an actual licensed doctor for less than five minutes one time. They have spammed my cell phone with text messages offering spa services and they have a revolving door of students and physicians assistants who have no recollection of you and no idea why you are there. It's a complete joke and they quite honestly should have their license to practice medicine revoked. They are an antidepressant pill mill and nothing more. Please seek help from a doctor that will treat you like a human and not a cash register.

Rating should be zero stars. I have been suffering with major depression, PTSD, & prolonged grief disorder for about 30 years. For about 20 of those years I made very little progress, until i got the right therapy and cocktail of medications. (I am very protective of all the progress I have made on these meds and will not consider allowing anyone to mess with my recipe for my success). I have evolved from a wheelchair ridden individual that was completely dysfunctional into a fully functional recent college honors graduate, now pursuing a Master's degree. I have been religiously getting therapy and meds at Bay Care Behavioral Health for 13 years, where I will continue to get care. I went to this person to get a psychiatric evaluation for bariatric surgery because my insurance covered her services. This was my final prerequisite before seeing a surgeon. The first problem was it took over an hour to fill out the intake paperwork. I thought certainly with all the documented progress and good decision making I have shown over the last 10 years to reach my goals, my psych eval would be a no brainer. The doctor started talking about not being comfortable with my current medication regimen and said that I should have had my records sent to her. When I replied that I had my records mailed to her other office 4 weeks prior, she acted befuddled and wanted to know where the records were. I explained it to her over and over and she kept remarking that she did not understand where they were. She also could not understand why I would have to wait 6-7 months to see a referral psychiatrist recommended by Baycare. I had talked with her office staff 4 different times before my appt. trying to make sure the records were received, but I got absolutely no assistance. Finally this woman (the doctor, lol) says, well we will need to get your records before your next appt. and I will need to talk to your provider at Baycare about your meds. What next appointment??? I already had follow-up scheduled with Baycare. All I needed from Ms. Sajan was an evaluation stating that bariatric surgery was not contraindicated. I cannot think of any words bad enough to describe this provider, her service, and her staff. If she thinks I am going to pay for another visit, because of their incompetence or believes that I would ever consider letting her readjust my winning medication regimen, she needs a psychiatrist more than I do. This practitioner did not help me at all, in fact, she created obstacles for me in the pursuit of attaining my goals.

jocelyn hotz

Waited 2 hours to speak to the doctor to refill my medication. Talked to a physicians assistant for half an hour before actually talking to Dr. Sajan and when I did finally see her, she tried forcing therapy down my throat when all I needed was a refill. I highly DON'T reccomend this office. Save your money and time.

Christopher Streich

They are going to change your appointment time. You are going to wait in their cramped waiting room. You may see someone in Scrubs but you will not see a Doctor. This business exists to bill your insurance. They do not do Healthcare.

Diane Kunz

Horrible, you will never see Dr Sajan. you will see many of her many interns. You will also wait over an hour before anyone sees you.

William Gordon

The physician's management of my wife's psychiatric meds has been tantamount to malpractice. Rather than try to understand the patient's concerns, she made wholesale changes to her meds and had the gall to order a drug test (which she passed; she has never had a drug abuse issue) when my wife protested over being assigned a new PA for practically every appointment, an indication of how poorly the physician treats her staff. Annoyed over the complaint, the physician suddenly cut my wife's Prozac dose in half on the "basis" that she risked serotonin syndrome, never mind the fact she had been on the old dosage for 15 years without incident. Her system is totally out of whack as a result. The physician has punished my wife for complaining of the staff turnover. She intentionally brought harm to a patient. Dinar Sajan, MD lacks the skill, temperament and inclination to do what's right by the patient. Her bedside manner is atrocious. It borders on confrontational. She runs a weight-loss money factory, not a psychiatric practice. Stay away from this doctor, far away.

Tim Kelley

I wish I had seen the reviews. I had an appointment at 10:30 am. I arrived at 10 am. It is now 11:52 AM and I still haven't been seen. When I verify I haven't been forgotten at the front desk I am told 10 or 15 mins.

Aryelle Westerhouse

Wow. These are the worst reviews of a doctor online. Yes, she is horrible, but stop calling her a pill pusher. You are probably right, but by saying it all the druggies are gonna give her business lol

Jamie Leonard

I was very thankful for the time they spent with me and truly listened to me.

Heather Hafner

I would give this Dr. less stars if I could. I will give the star to the non-doctoral staff- especially the receptionist at the front desk. She is really sweet. Other than that, this is a bad place to get mental health treatment. Especially if you "need" it. Dr. Sajan is very cold feeling. This is only from limited exposure to her, even though I have been there 4 times. I have been in the same room with her once for about 3 minutes on my first visit. She said things I never said, and then disagreed with me when I corrected her. It was wildly frustrating to be told what I said to another person was NOT what I said-she wasn't there at the time. I have seen a different PA or PA student every single visit-sometimes two different PAs. No one knows me as a person or understands my situation- no one could get the chance to know me since I get shuffled to a new person every time. The communication breakdown in this building abounds. Imagine playing the game telephone when you start with a phrase, and by the time it gets to the last person, the dr in this case, it is a completely different phrase. That is what the communication breakdown is like here. I promise it's that bad. I hope if you have to come here, that you have a better experience than I have had. Luckily, I'm in a good place, personally, or this place would have caused massive panic and depression. I came here because of insurance purposes and I am extremely unhappy and sad about the level of care I have received. I have been made to feel like a non-human or lesser than. I feel judged here and completely misunderstood-mainly because no one is trying to understand. I mean this. I have had a wonderful psychiatrist experience before, he just unfortunately passed away during my care. Good psychiatrists are hard to come by. I am leaving Dr. Sajan's treatment to pay out of pocket because it's just worth the money. I am seeing a nurse practitioner who I believe will be much better than this. I say this fearfully, but I really don't think my experience could be worse than the one I have had at Dr. Sajan's office. Please, if you have the chance to go somewhere else, do that. I really think the 5 star reviews on Google are made up profiles or those people were paid. One of the 5 star reviews says her practice is "perfect". That couldn't be true if you wanted it to be. It's why it's called practice. I pray and send love to all of Those reading this who need help. You are not broken, just in the process of healing. You are much stronger than you think. Never let a psychiatrist break your spirit! You are perfect and wonderful. Troubles help us grow!!!

F0STERD0GS

This practice is exactly the type I had hoped it would be. I don't need to see a doctor. I don't need therapy or sympathy. I only need medication management. The staff is to-the-point, polite and professional. The wait time isn't that outrageous, but face it, you have a long wait time EVERY time you go to ANY doctor. I give this practice an A+.

Taylor Glomb

Legitimately the worst practice I’ve ever been to. Their malpractice and overall treatment of patients is horrendous and I am thankful to not have to depend on them anymore. Dr Sajan is terrible and uncaring. It’s truly astounding as a patient to have been treated in that manner. Do not waste your time or money.

Roberta Obermayer

Horrible experience! She has a Spa to make money from clients insecurities rather than therapists and counselors who might actually help someone. That says it all.

Corey Wilcox

I have read a bunch of bad reviews for this place and so far I haven't experienced any of them. I've been coming here for a few weeks now and the staff has been extremely friendly. The longest I had to wait to see the doctor was maybe 20 minutes. And Dinar Sajan has done an excellent job reviewing my information and finding the best fit for me. Not sure if I'm just very lucky but I have gone to several places over the last 20 years and this place has been the most successful for me.

shannon apt

I hate this office because not only does the doctor doesn't see you on a daily basics you have to state you're issues through multiple people to get the help you need. Also, they aren't really efficient of knowing what medication you need for you're disorder they flip flop you around medication until something hopefully works. Not to be totally personal but I almost died because of this place due to the fact I was wacked out of all the new medication they were giving me. when I told her I was experiencing these emotions she baked racked me and I had to call my former doctor to release me from the hospital.

Lauren Cueva

They always overbook. No consideration for patients time.

Megan Moore

Aja Anderson

The only reason this “doctor” would have 1.5 stars is because ONE is the LOWEST rating you can give. She is the epitome of UNPROFESSIONAL, INCONSIDERATE & UNEDUCATED. What person who has apparently gone to college in a different country to study how to understand people tells their patient on the first encounter that what they’re feeling is wrong and then proceeds to YELL at their patient. Save your money, your time and BREATH by never coming to her. She needs to be diagnosed herself. When she starts her yelling you’ll know the only thing she has a degree in his BAD HYGIENE with her rank breath.

Lori Thomas

I see Dr. Sajan for TMS treatments. I have never had difficulty making an appointment besides minor issues with the Doctor or TMS technician running a little late. Majority of the staff have been kind and competent. I have had a couple, maybe two times of not getting a return phone call, otherwise all has been good. I do not know why there are so many negative reviews, it honestly shocked me when I saw the low rating. I have been to her office many times, over 100 in the last 3 years for TMS. So if you are considering seeing Dr. Sajan please consider forming your own opinion rather than the ones written by other people that we really have no idea the exact situations. In health care, especially psychiatry we know that people who feel a visit was negative are more likely to post a review than those that it went good for. And one last note.......if you do not want to be assigned to a ARNP, then discuss that at your first appointment and make sure the doctor agrees that this is possible. Understanding that doctors schedules change sometimes and in those instances they may need people to see someone else. But ask them, don't assume you will be seeing the doctor every time unless she has told you that.

Renee Alfonso

Update. Wage and hour board contacted them to pay me what they owe still waiting for the check to go to the wage and hour board as they promised them and they owe me I had an interview and I worked like an audition for five hours - won’t answer my calls and have not been paid for that time I couldn’t get out of there fast enough but I did work and they do owe me Had a bad feeling about that place didn’t want to pay me much per hour I knew I couldn’t make it a living wage there

James Thomas

Baker acted me after asking me if I hear voices. I told her I hear "One voice" She asked "Which one" and I answered "The voice of the lord". She proceeded to prod and try to get me to ask God questions on the spot. I replied by saying "Ye shall not test the lord thy God". Has no understanding of religious views of her patients. Some good came of it; when I was trapped in a psyche ward due to her decisions I met a good doctor who I'm now seeing and I'm stable. In addition to that while I was there I got to tell a man about how he could be forgiven for any sin other than blasphemy of the holy ghost. I forgive this woman, but she has little to no understanding of the nature of religious experience as of this posting to my knowledge. She also lied to me and my mother and told us we were waiting for prescriptions at the front desk and kept us waiting during this time. We were pulled over by police officers on the way home. What a great time.

Venus Victor-Guild

I spent over two hours filling out the paperwork in detail prior to my first scheduled appointment. After waiting for over an hour, I saw a tech ? or a physician' s assistant who looked at some of my paperwork and only addressed one thing I was concerned about and then I saw a second one who quickly went over the same info briefly and prescribed something that didn't work. Second visit same thing, over an hour wait and less the tech. I saw a different PA, who obviously looked down her nose at me and was not in the least hiding that she was judging me the entire time I was there. She didn't believe me when I was going down the list of drugs that used to work and that I eventually developed severe adverse reactions to, as I've had this problem for many, many years. I was very unhappy about the disbelief emanating from her entire physical demeanor. As I was leaving, I asked when Dr Sajan would actually be seeing patients as this was specifically requested by me when I booked the first appointment. I was told she was having "medical issues." I went home and began my search for a new psychiatrist. I also went and saw my new Internist who took one look at me and said he could see what I was saying was true. He prescribed me something that is helping my vicious insomnia, thankfully!!. I told him my previous PA said I had to see a psychiatrist to get some sleeping medication, which was the first reason for my seeing Dr Sajan. I believed her because I was new to this state and assumed that was the way things were done here. My new Internist told me that was a lie. When I told him I never saw the actual Dr at THAT practice, he told me that every third visit it was the law you had to see the Dr running the practice! This past week Sajan's office called me to book a third visit and assured me the doctor would actually see me this time. I'm happy something told me to read her reviews this morning. It's early Saturday and I'm calling and cancelling Monday afternoon's appointment after reading these reviews!!! I suppose I was seeking reassurance that I wasn't being too picky or even imagining shoddy treatment which existed in actuality. I do have another appointment for a different psychiatrist but it isn't until December 11th! That's a long wait when you're battling serious depression and anxiety - or anything else! In the meantime, I thank God for my Internist! At this juncture, he!s a real life saver!!! A doctor's office should realize that the patent's time is worth something, just like theirs! When you make an appointment to see the doctor, you should see the doctor! You and your staff should be sympathetic and caring, not cold, disbelieving and judgmental: especially where fragile people are concerned! Your pas shouldn't lie to your patients and as the doctor running a practice, you should follow the law and at least see the patient every third visit. Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy all the way around and completely unacceptable!!! What else can you expect when it seems they're only in it for the money? I came home and told my husband the entire process of "seeing," the ever elusive Dr Sajan was not only a bad joke, it was like a cattle call from the get go.

Elinka Latincic

Honestly speaking, I truly love this office, staff and doctors. They genuinely are attentive and do their best to pinpoint exactly what you need and what is best for you. They've helped and guided me in my life flawlessly. Especially, with the aspects of myself that I need/needed assistance with. I see the bad reviews and I'm truly shocked. The only issue that I've ever had was waiting to be seen, but mind you- I didn't have the patience (at that time) to even wait ONE minute, let alone 10 or 20 at most. With all of the patients that are seen, I have never seen one leave upset. Ever. With the Doctor, herself, she conducts herself and her work perfectly, in my humble opinion. If someone is upset that they weren't prescribed something that they thought they originally wanted, I sense that it wasn't safe or best for them. They examine extensively what you NEED as well as what you WANT. When I rated five stars, I meant that seriously. This office deserves a perfect rating. Truly.

Austin Spedale

I went to this office for over two months. I saw a different doctor everytime. My last vist the doctor picked a fight with my wife. They then upped my dose of lamictal to 200mg and gave me a refill of the 40mg prozac which I was instructed to take with a 20mg pill to total 60 mg. Long story short I ended up in the hospital for 3 days. I would recommend not going to this office because they have no idea what they are doing. They throw medicine around like toys and they should have their licensed revoked!

Judith Sikora

JT J

the worst doctor I have ever had the displeasure to meet. DO NOT GO TO HER!!!!

Kevin Bupp

Never have I ever received more of a runaround with a doctor than with Dr Sajan. She's very unprofessional and is always running behind schedule. Staff is great but same your time and frustrations and find another doc.
