I have been going here for about 5 years. They saved my life. I was out of control and didn’t know why finally got a diagnosis and put on the right medications. Every Doctor (resident and attending) have been amazing. They don’t have an easy job and see tons of patients yet DR N. Patel takes the time with me and answers all of my questions and calls back in a timely manner. He goes out of his way to make sure I am safe and doing well. He’s easy to talk to. I highly recommend Dr. Neel Patel.

A literal nightmare. Mental healthcare in America is a mess as is, but this place takes it to a whole new level.

Very mixed experience, mostly negative, however TErry most accommodating. Definitely will not go back again. Another issue is billing, getting bills for days I have receipts of payments. Does not help my anxiety and depression . Even 1 star is too much

Have had an apt for a month get a call the day of to be told she cannot see me unless I came in at 10am already make the hour drive when I go there and it's 730 when she calls me no way for me to change everything in 2 hours and then I am not guaranteed another appt at all. I could have seen any Dr as I had said when I called to make the apt but for some reason they said I had to see a certain Dr and she tells me because they thought I was pregnant really????

Facility is a joke. They allow students to run the lives of their patients. Melissa Rudd is hands-down the most unprofessional dr. I have ever been around. Do not go to this facility do not see dr. Melissa Rudd. I have been on medication for now 10 months and I understand that with my diagnosis finding the right cocktail medications can be trying at times however communication with your doctor is key. well not with this doctor this doctor takes days if not weeks to get back ahold of you and now because she does not like the way I am handling things with her because I however am a professional and she however is not . she is now completely cutting me off of all medications instead of tapering me off . which in the medical world of mental illness is a big No-No! so unless you would like to have a doctor fill you up with medications and then abruptly take you off DO NOT GO TO MELISSA RUDD.

I have been going to this office on and off for almost 15 years. Never once asked for anything, no early refills, nothing. Even when they weren’t covered under my insurance I continued to see them and pay almost $200 our of pocket for every visit. I lost my prescription at an Airbnb so I called the office and spoke to Kenny, he told me to come in to get a partial script to hold me over until my next fill date. I did that and after driving 45 minutes to get there and take a half day from work all I get is “sorry about your luck” I literally went out there for nothing. I am a medical professional and my job requires me to be focused for the safety of MY patients. Do they care? No. I am also in school and have midterms due before I’ll have my medication again. They clearly don’t believe in doing what is therapeutic for their patients. I would give them less than a one if that were an option.

Archaic at best. Get to see a Dr every few months. Trying to get a message to the Dr is impossible. Every time I call it's like the first time, they have no idea about any previous messages etc... It's like a black hole. This is how medicine should not be practiced

I've been a patient here for years and because many of the doctors are residents, they come and go. Everyone I've worked with has been phenomenal. I appreciate that they try to work with me in terms of assigning me male staff (I have a lot of trauma and trust issues from horrific experiences with female providers--NOT at this clinic, though). My current resident is absolutely amazing in that he truly cares, is empathetic, and listens. He is not quick to Baker Act (involuntarily hospitalize), which I really appreciate because that's a huge fear of mine. He also has a gentle, nonthreatening demeanor, which is important to me as someone with PTSD. Psychiatrists like him are a rarity, so much so that I am willing to make an almost 300-mile commute to get to my appointments (I've moved across the state). The front office staff are great, too. They're understanding when I have to delay making a copayment due to financial hardship. Keep up the good work!

I have been going here for the past two years, ever since my original psychiatrist passed away. Since it is the only practice within a 100 mile radius that accepts my insurance, I have continued to go until my insurance lapses in a month. I will be as straightforward as possible with my review. My first resident was a dream doctor. He listened, wasn't judgmental, and I felt comfortable being seen by him because he was a respectable human being. Unfortunately he graduated and moved on to working within the field. After he left, although he scheduled my next visit, it wasn't input into the system, so I showed up for my quarterly visit to be told that I have to reschedule (1), which resulted in a visit months later. My second doctor was a nightmare. She was cold and uninterested, lacking any sort of bedside manner. After she scheduled two appointments for different times(2 &3) than what was written on the appointment card resulting in two more missed appointment times, I asked for a new doctor. Tonight was literally my breaking point. Finally I had a scheduled visit at a time that worked with my schedule (I live 40 miles away). Immediately she has me fill out a questionnaire after I told her that I'd like to get put back on a medication I was prescribed for years and decided to stop while I was pregnant with my daughter. Then, after discussing my life, childhood and all the other unnecessary drama that comes with having a woman doctor, she begins telling me that she wants me to stop my current medication (which I have been taking for the past 3 years with no issues) and try multiple other types to see if I can switch to another. I'm not sure why on a first visit, this student has decided to take it upon herself to completely erase and rewrite what has been working well for years. Needless to say, I left without a prescription and have to return after a few days so that she can start me on a whole new medication.

I noticed mixed reviews. My husband has been coming for 5 years. they have prevented some pretty chaotic episodes and kept the ones that just couldn't be halted to a lower level. Yes they have canceled on us and yes there are interns coming in and out....but they are cutting edge most recent knowledge hungry interns we've seen. The mental health care does need some help apparently from how busy they are but i have to say before this our choice was a 9-5 old school psychiatrist who just didn't know what to do with that chaotic stuff. We will stick with cutting edge interns and the sometime inconvenience thank you very much.

Waited six months for an appointment. Don’t know why it’s so hard to get an appointment when this place is inefficient. My daughter was having psychotic symptoms for years. We went to the first appointment and they referred us to a place. I told them that the place doesn’t take adolescents. They insisted the place did. They realized I was right. They wouldn’t adjust my daughter’s medicine. They referred us to Rogers and Rogers referred us to another place in California. We had Dr. Iannuzzi . We dealt mostly with his second year intern who had an attitude and little life experience. Our experience is that it was a waste of time. We are seeing a psychiatrist who adjusted my daughter’s medicine and she is doing a lot better. I guess some people have stucco here, but we definitely did not. When I told the receptionist I wanted to cancel the appointment, she asked why. I told her. She said somebody would call me and address the problems. Never received that call.
