Total Rip Off find a place that really cares about your kids and not just money! My child is in desperate need of a good psychiatrist since she has a counselor and has been in a hospital for 2 months she needs continuous care. I have called plenty others in Sarasota and this is the only place that wanted $300 for “ a comprehensive examination”of 30 mins! then $150 an hour after that. My child doesn’t need him to evaluate her and find out what she needs. Children’s Hospital in Boston diagnosed her and Rogers Hospital in Tampa has been doing intensive treatment for her condition. This was clearly explained. She has all records & the hospital wanting to work with the dr! Sadly these people want the $300 for 30 min for no reason but to milk $300 for services she doesn’t need. Horrible some doctors are this shallow. Happily I have found another who sighed saying he wasn’t surprised at this shady practice but was very unnecessary. He will be seeing my daughter for the FULL hour and charging the same rate of $150. No BS $300 to learn what you will in the hour anyway. Especially with such a big hospital & other psychiatrists involved.. They were shocked but they atleast know to no longer recommend this practice! Call around and don’t settle to be ripped off!

My daughter and I have been seeing Dr. Dave for over a year and I'm so glad we found him. My daughter is back to her better self and so am I, with minimal medication. He listens to what we have to say and has made us feel important and heard along the way, letting us know WE have a say in our journey towards better health. He has always addressed any concerns we have had and has told us what we should expect every step of the way. By working with Dr. Dave, we were able to find the right path for each of us and his knowledge and expertise was evident throughout the process. He respects that our first choice in treatment has been the most natural approach possible and has never pushed us any other way. I did come to realize that depending on ones situation, we may need more than the natural approach to get us to the place we desire or want to be, and it's ok to do whatever is needed to help our bodies get to a place of balance first. Then after we reset, a more natural approach can take us the rest of the way, if that is to be our journey. Clearly, we are all different, so our experiences will be different from someone elses. ; ) Regardless of where we've been on our health journey, I always felt that we were moving forward into a better place with his care. Just remember that mental health issues are complex and so is every individual that has them, so what works for one person, may not work for someone else in the same way, and Dr. Dave understands this crucial point. In closing, I would also like to add that the office staff is awesome, and has always been polite, efficient, and very friendly. Thank you Dr. Dave, Jackie, and Mary for all that you do for your patients! I wish you continued success in all you do. S. Kelley
