The staff was friendly, but I was not very happy about the results given by the Neurologist, instead I will get a second opinion and go to my doctors and maybe another Neurologist to see what they can do for me as well. That would be my main focus at this time. They are all unprofessional, uncaring and not at all knowledgeable when it comes to the mental conditions they claim to treat. Let's not even talk about the billing. Unprofessional , lack of compassion, refusing to understand a patient's requests. It appears the main concern is processing without regard to the patient's needs. It is best to seek neuropsychic testing elsewhere. Being a retired professional they are a sad commentary on the medical profession.

I can't tell you how many times I've called in with concerns. All I get is an answering machine and no call backs. This establishment apparently has no staff ever. I just want to settle my bill and be done. If I could give them no stars I would. Anyone looking for help please please please seek aid elsewhere. This location truly is a pitfall and I regret to have known them. Update: still no actual ETA on the refund, asinine reasoning and blatant disregard for courtesy. Claiming that nothing can be done unless I return the original documents when a copy should be fine? This is either faulty record keeping, or simply a case of CYA. I do hope that this establishment does a massive overhaul of its employee base and maybe send some individuals to a course in communication and etiquette.

I have 2 Doctors there and they are great. However if your coming off of a medication and going on another medication dont expect to get very far from the medical assistant. WOW the one for my Dr. is absolutely horrible. Not only could she care less about your problems but she is extremely rude and not helpful. I would be embarrassed to have her as my medical assistant if i was the Dr. Because not only is she giving the company a bad name i feel she is not relaying any of the messages back to the Dr. I would give this facility a 0 just because of the medical assistant Even tho everyone else is nice at this facility. I can’t say enough about how helpful Justin Roth was a therapist, particularly regarding infertility. My husband and I had been struggling with infertility for over 3 years. We had undergone a few rounds of failed in vitro fertilization (IVF) and an ectopic pregnancy. As the months continued to go by without getting pregnant, it started to take a toll on me. It seemed like we hit problem after problem and I was very depressed and starting to believe my body wasn’t capable of getting pregnant. We decided to do one last round of IVF and only got one embryo, which would be our final chance. We were hoping that this third round would bring the miracle we longed for. Mentally I had hit such a bottom and I knew I needed to get my head straight if this were to work. A friend of mine had been seeing Justin for other personal reasons and she seemed to speak highly of him so I decided to schedule an appointment. I was hesitant to speak with a male about my infertility issues and wondered if he would be able to understand or relate, but I figured I would give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised and not only did Justin understand, but he would come up with sayings that made so much sense. Justin helped me to see that I had been holding onto something that happened 20 years ago, which was adding to my anxiety about having a child. I was finally able to forgive myself and be free of this burden. We also worked on the mind body connection, focusing on the positives, and focusing on things that I could control in my life and letting go of those I could not. After seeing Justin for a short time I started to feel much better and more like myself. By the grace of God I got pregnant and delivered a healthy baby boy in January. I continued to see Justin through the first half of my pregnancy and after that he would check in with me via e-mail and still does. I don’t think Justin will ever know how much he helped me and I don’t know why this last time worked, other than God’s plan, but I do know that I was in a much better place mentally and physically and Justin helped me to get there. Justin was compassionate, sincere, and by my side every step of the way. I would highly recommend seeing him if you’re struggling with infertility. He can help!!

Th WORST! No one EVER EVER EVER answers the phone! Days several days to get a prescription refill! I called several times one day and was later told "sorry we had no one anwsering calls yesterday" it was a Wednesday morning not a weekend. I think it's bad practice to prescribe patients meds that they become dependent on and then make it nearly impossible to get a refill for them. I also had to have a form filled out by them for my child to take meds at school during school hours. So I wait and wait, days go by that my child can't take his meds at school. I finally started calling I had to call SEVEN TIMES to finally get in touch with Pam, who later flat out told me "the doctor lost your form" we will have her fax over a new one! They are understaffed and over booked. It's a big company and your just a small number to them, another dollar they can make. I could go on and on with more things about this conglomerate of a company but you get the idea. Do not go here! Save your time and sanity!

I'm a current patient of Dr. Edgar's. I am unfortunately going to be forced to search for another psychiatrist. I feel very Uncomfortable with the fact that I receive 0 calls backs in a timely manner, if that. I'm told his assistant will speak to him about very important issues I'm experiencing and that I Will get a call back. I leave messages asking for directions on medications. I speak to the assistant, explaining the urgency that I come in for an appointment and to please see if she can fit me into his schedule.. ...and shocking...I don't get a call back....maybe it's the next day, or 2 or 3. When someone has a mental disability it should take hi priority, I would think. I'm sure there are a ton of other patients that are having the same issues, if not worse! My main concern is the LACK of communication and the time it takes for a response. It's just sad that to get a message to the doctor regarding something so sensitive seems to take the back burner. If your establishment cannot handle the amount of patients, then please do something. And if you are capable, then you HAVE TO, for the patients sake, return calls in a Timely manner, put some effort Into it. COMMUNICATE better, something! I don't see how all these bad reviews can be real. I've had nothing but nice and caring people. Dr. Lugo has been great and extremely knowledgeable. Justin roth is great at what he does, and I haven't met any rude office staff yet, everyone's great. I highly recommend them and have been.

I arrived early. Went to the front desk. Was not handled very well. Rude brash loud receptionist. I spent time trying to explain to the receptionist how people who come in to her office may need compassion. To no avail. Waited an hour. Returned to another receptionist and was told Dr not in that building. Dr did come to get me and said running late. Just not well run or professional.

Disreputable. Do not give credit card info. The first time I went, I paid with a credit card that I only use for one other thing - it immediately go compromised.Can't prove anything - but left me uncomfortable -like they did not have proper safeguards in place. The past 3 weeks, I have paid by check, and they charged my credit card anyway.On my last visit I handed them a letter that they were NOT authorized to charge my Citicard under any circumstances. Guess what? - double charged for the third week. This is not a commentary on the therapists - the company is just poorly run, if I am being kind, while others might consider them crooks. STAY AWAY - look elsewhere - You can search on psychology today for top rated professionals in your area.

This is Diane Yoder, Chris's mom. Chris cannot write this review because he died of a heroin overdose the day before his appointment!! Chris had moved to Bradenton the previous month and I was trying to get him in to see Dr. Sylvester for his Vivitrol shot (an opiate blocker) which he has been gettiing every month for the past year. It kept him away from any opiates. First of all it took 1 month to get an appointment with Dr. Sylvester, and secondly CMPS said they had no other doctor or nurse practicioner that could administer this shot. This is just a time released naltrexone shot....not a controlled medication so I did not understand why there would not be anyone else in this extensive psychiatric system that could help. I called numerous time and when I finally got someone at Dr. Sylvesters office I was told that he would not even be able to administer the shot on the first appointment, even though his Psychiatrist in CT would provide his records??? On April 19, 2017 my son died of a heroin or fentanyl overdose. His appointment was on April 20th. I think he saw a window of opportunity to "just try it one more time" and it is the last time he will do anything on this earth. CMPS is supposed to specialiize in addiction and other psychiatric disorders. We all know that an addict does not think rationally and say "Oh I have to wait a month before my next appointment. I just need to behave". Why didn't CMPS know that? I would not recommend this practice to anyone!!

I cannot believe how cold the people in the office are. My husband is in Stage 5 Kidney Failure and they called me during Dialysis training to reschedule because the Dr. needed to change the appointment. I missed the newly scheduled appointment because I did not write it down when i was in training and they charged my card without consulting me $100.00. When I got the message that I missed the appointment the Dr.s assistant informed me that they had charged me the missed appointment fee of $100.00. I was in shock. I explained to her my case, that the whole reason I am coming to see my Dr. is because I am so overwhelmed and I have never missed an appointment before. I asked her to please be compassionate and waive the fee this one time as my family is drowning in doctor bills right now due to my husbands health issues. She said it was not up to her it was the company policy and that she had called me to remind me of the appointment. I pleaded with her to please understand that was my grocery money for the week, she insisted that she cannot and asked me if I want to reschedule. $100 is a lot of money. That is too much money to charge people in need of help whose lives are turned upside down. I never miss my appointments and I am so upset that this is the outcome the one time I do. My Dr. has asked to change my appointment with him many times and I do not fault him for being unable to make it for the original scheduled time. I admit my fault in missing the appointment but I am so upset at how unreasonable the outcome is.

I haven't even had my appointment yet. And it's taken over a month to schedule. I've tried calling for 2 weeks now trying to reschedule and I'm still without a call back. I've called repeatedly daily. Left numerous messages and yet no call back. So far; I am FAR from pleased with this place, now I'm not saying the doctors aren't good or anything (I wouldn't know since I've yet to go). But now I'm obligated to keep my appointment because I'll be charged 100 dollars for them not calling me back .. LEARN HOW TO ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE AND CALL PEOPLE BACK! And when I finally do get a hold of someone. I get an attitude from the lady on the phone... I finally was able to reschedule so I might give it a chance. But they told me that I didn't even have an appointment, when I was looking at my confirmation, they said it wasn't in the computer. But it was a hand qrottwr appointment, from over a month ago. Although I got a computer generated text message confirming said appointment... 1* is pushing it at this point...

I just wanted to comment on the business replies -as a business owner, I would polish up how I respond. First you can not violate HIPAA, you cant say who was there and who was not, and, in some of your responses you pretty much call the patient crazy, kind of like a low punch approach-coming from a doc, its not really professional, and shows your buttons can be pushed rather easy. I have never been to your place, but the 100 cancellation fee is rather nuts, I feel if you took a poll, that would be a statistical fact. And, what if the complaints about the receptionist or call handling has merit? Try to take a deep breath before responding to posts is all I'm saying. I was rather taken back by how you came in swinging...5 stars because I do not have a N/A button and wont sink the reviews unjustly.

Update 2019: I have now seen Dr. Caroline McDonald for the last 3 years. During this time, alot had transpired. I ended up with cystic acne from a med and had to go get on ACCUTANE! I also ended up in the emergency room from medications that she has put me on and not followed up with. She does alot of mixing medications that pharmacies won't even dispense together because its extremely dangerous (and the benefit of these did not outweigh the cons!). Also, every very single doctor, dentist, therapist, primary care physician that I have seen in the last 3 years, when I list my medications to them, EVERY SINGLE ONE stated me she needs her license revoked. So to wrap it up, "DR" McDonald had me on a ridiculous amount of Xanax and adderall mixed. I was told by another doctor enough to tranquilize a horse! I went to go see my new doctor Who set me up on medications that were safe, no bad interactions, and did not mix the ones that "Dr" McDonald had. She also wrote down Dr McDonald's name because she couldn't believe my history with her. Anyway I had an appointment today with their therapist Kim, I show up to the appointment to be told that I have been discharged fully from comprehensive medpsych systems and they sent a letter in the mail yesterday. Not even a call to me? Extremely unprofessional. This was because they were mad I was switching doctors and did not tell them, they sent this discharge letter out the day after they had to release my medical records to the new facility. To end, if you go to comprehensive medpsych systems just don't see McDonald unless you are an addict because she is the biggest pill Pusher I know. I had to beg her to get me off Xanax and she refused. Every time it was a new med!! Even if I was feeling good, she always seemed to prescribe me something else unneeded! Unless you want to ruin years of your life, do not see this woman. She used to be FABULOUS but, not to be ugly, seems to be going through menopause or something. She totally changed. I'll be praying for her I totally do not understand all of these bad reviews. I have been going to the Bradenton location by the Riverwalk for almost 2 years now. The front desk staff, especially Lindsey are extremely personable and professional, and are great at making you feel very comfortable every visit. I have seen Dr. Caroline McDonald since day one and she is absolutely 100% without a doubt fantastic. I can't imagine not going there every month or two and not talking to her. She's great at listening and understanding, as well as giving great advice. Calming you down if you are upset, and different ways or techniques to help solve whatever situation you may be in. She also remembers things that were told to her months before, which makes you feel like someone truly cares. I had a complete breakdown recently like never before, I called the office and asked for her to call me back asap, and she did right away. We spoke for a while, she calmed me down and set an appointment immediately for me to come and see her. I could not imagine going to any other psychiatrist besides her, I absolutely adore her! The only thing that I can complain about is as of 2018 there has been no contract negotiated or signed with Florida Blue which is who I go through, I am told they're working on this but I hope it is sooner than later because I cannot afford to go without insuran! So I'm just waiting it out and praying this gets completed!

I am currently a patient at Medpsych Systems with a psychiatrist and a therapist. Have been debating making a review, but after seeing other reviews and responses from the “owners” I felt obligated. First off, after being referred by my doctor, it took over a month of phone tag with receptionists to finally just go in physically and make an appointment. I was then scheduled a month from then. My psychiatrist was great and initially helped me tremendously (Will not name for anonymity). I was recommended and I then asked to start seeing a separate therapist. It has been over two months and I have yet to been able to make contact with receptionist again. Lastly, I just want to state that for a mental health facility, it is not a well run business. They do not understand the urgency some mental health patients need to see a therapist they trust. Yes, going to the hospital can help, but for some it is more anxiety inducing. p.s. after reading other reviews and the “owners” responses, I get the feeling they only respond to the good reviews and try to discredit any bad reviews. They publicly state whether or not a reviewer is an actual patient and share their information (from a few responses I have read). Not very professional.

Mostly repetitive ADT home security and TruGreen lawn service as well as other home service reviews scattered all across the country. You can tell there is a pattern. The owners have clearly paid for a fake review service. This discredits everything about them unfortunately....

The very low reviews you see for all of their locations are unfortunately justified. Completely left us hanging with no help after spending $1500+ on testing fees... also the process from initial inquiry until we finally were told they couldn’t take our insurance (Humana) for treatment except for one therapist who had “no recurring openings” for our son took over 30 WEEKS. Very poor follow up by their scheduling department (Patrice) who seemed completely lost every time we spoke to her. Weeks in between phone calls back and forth, as if they have no understanding that people are coming to them for immediate needed help...shame on this place for how they operate.

BUT i have requested from google to add the Bradenton location again, even though Kanter got all the negative reviews disappear. As you can see, he just abused his title to bully me, his former PATIENT, and tell me i have "issues" just because i criticized him. This is the culture there. i can't believe this McDonald dr made mistakes in my rx as well !! I noticed that Kanter, The owner of the clinic, deleted the whole Bradenton location from google in an attempt to make my review disappear, after I exposed him, his atrocious response to my review, bedside manner, bullying, and his own terrible ratings. I only found out yesterday that dr McDonald ALSO made a mistake in my medication dosage. Pharmacy said she ordered 20mg a day instead of 100mg that I’ve always been on. I’ll be posting a pic proving that because I have no doubt she will lie about that too. Do your homework, it’s about your well-being.

Well after waiting 2 weeks for someone to call just to schedule a appointment for my husband I hear from Chelisie. Such a pleasant woman! I was told I couldn't book the appt for him because of HIPPA. Sorry but appointments arranged by someone other than the patient are NOT a violation of HIPAA privacy rules so you may want to share that with your employee. When I tried to explain that he can't hear on the phone and I could set it up she said "Just have HIM call me!" and hung up. Seriously? He didn't want to go for a memory test to begin with!

This office has done nothing but treat me well....the receptionist has always been courteous to me. The wait time usually super short, even though I was late for an appointment once. Dr Cohen is laid back and friendly, maintains eye contact and allows me to address any concerns. If there's a problem, particularly with billing or related issues, he's quick to attend to the matter that same day. Dr Cohen has me feeling better leaving than I did when I entered. My heartfelt thanks. My only issue is he does not take Medicaid. All in all, his office is relaxing and the folks friendly and personable, which Is more than I can boast about Carter psychology center...one Dr there was rude, condescending, and without any bedside manner at all!
