I was told when I went there that they prescribe medications but left out they won’t prescribe certain ones you may be on. Even to taper off and try another. I needed help and a plan ASAP. BE UP FRONT FULLY TO YOUR PATIENTS THAT COME IN. PEOPLE HAVE SEVERE ISSUES!!!!! Not happy with experience!!!!

Plug for the new Coastal Psychiatric Urgent Care! My five year old has autism and has been very destructive and aggressive. His specialist couldn’t get him in until November, for an existing patient! I finally took him to Coastal for the first time on August 2nd. They were so wonderful! They put me at ease regardless of his behavior and were extremely accommodating of us. They have a sliding scale (not in network for insurance yet but working on it) and they were able to help with what we needed without issue. He was seen both by Dr. Karle and Michelie Levrier, APRN at the same time to streamline the appointment. I’m very impressed and happy to have a place like this in our community. Regarding previous post, I knew before going that they do not prescribe certain controlled medications as it is posted prominently on the website. For those medications, I am keeping his specialist appointment but I’m extremely happy that they were able to help with other medications to get us to that appointment. I’m returning to them for medication management appointments and recommend them to everyone I know. They also have amazing follow up for their patients. I’ve easily been able to speak to the ARNP herself multiple times since our first visit. I always am quickly able to speak to a friendly person, not a machine, and the provider calls back in a timely manner if I’m unable to reach her immediately. This place could be a real game changer for appropriate mental health services in our area!

Family member not helped. This place is a joke! They say they are, "Filling the gap in psychiatric services..." Not even close...If you go there in crisis, they'll charge your Medicaid and you, then send you away with a prescription you already tried and recommended you take more of it. Well, ...let's go play Russian roulette in our medicine cabinets! Advising someone ,in crisis to do this is negligent, plain and simple! Also, patient had an expired script for a med that works, the nurse practitioner,Michelle Reverie said , "it's a narcotic" , Oh,well what if that's what helps someone in crisis? There is no real psychiatrist on staff. The website misleads the vulnerable psychiatric patients. Michelle Lavrie, nurse practitioner, said she will give patient , "Seroquil" . Here is Seroquil info: It can take 4-6 weeks for quetiapine to give its full effect, but some people get good effects right from the first week. Many people say that it takes 4-6 weeks for quetiapine to show its full effect. Some studies now, however, show a good effect for some people within the first week of taking the tablets. How exactly is that helping a patient in crisis? This is dangerous,if you're loved one does harm,to themselves or others.. And they have a 401c grant? This must be stopped! Or hold the city of Melbourne accountable!

HEY JENNIFER THANKS FOR HANGING UP ON ME! People call you for help. You could explain what you were asking me so you hang up? THIS IS AN IMMEDIATE RED FLAG AND I URGE ALL MY FRIENDS AND FOLLOWERS STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Thanks for showing your true professionalism Jennifer! PS. Maybe find some where that people aren't in crisis when they call?!

There are wonderful, kind, and caring people who work here. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Do not go here. I brought my son. They won’t even tell me what they recommended. The just said a medication. I have in’s which they wouldn’t take. So I said I could only pay 150.00. They said that was fine. Now they said I agreed to pay 357 dollars and I will be billed the rest. They refuse to give me a copy of the doctors notes. My lawyer has asked me to get it. This place is poorly run. The psychologist and nurse practitioner didn’t seem highly trained, but they seemed fine. However they took my money and did nothing to help my son who deals with anxiety.

This place is awful. Poorly run by incompetent ppl. I would not recommend
