Every time we end up waiting about an hour past the scheduled appointment time and charges a high no-show fee, even if, say, you had to no-show because of an ER visit. In short, she's okay, but not great.

Brian Mortensen

Now I know why they have such a low rating. The people are virtually incompetent. We made an appt and had to cancel. I called a week in advance and got the reschedule and they charged us anyway for a missed appt. The lady that supposedly handle the charges refuses to call me back and take care of this and the front desk says they can't help me in this matter and I have to talk to Marisa that is in charge, but won't call me back. The Dr had an emergency crop up that took months and she was out and then tried to blame us for not making a ppt with her when they kept telling us she was the primary and had to recommend another Dr. They are still trying to charge us and we have moved on.

This is a really bad place. The front office staff is really rude and the counselors there are just terrible. They treat people like dirt and are abusive to them. Don't waste your time on this terrible incompetent office, go somewhere else

gabriela esteban

Don't seek medical help here if you care about your health and time. It takes 3-4 hours to be seen. The doctors don't actually care about their patients health. However if you're looking for a doctor you can lie to to get a prescription for adderall they're your people.

attention guys their phones are not working if you go into the office please let them know. Let the doctors know because the staff will not do anything about it. okay so the doctor is absolutely amazing so that you know dr. Farmer is the most amazing doctor I have ever met in my entire life. With that being said because he's a great doctor he has a lot of patients that absolutely loved him which means waiting times are very large I want to give it one star for the staff so that's what I'm doing at the bottom here there's one star for the staff the phones have not been working for 6 months straight. I have told the people at front that the phones don't work. Some of the staff I absolutely love but the new ones are not so good. I can't point fingers at who does what because I don't see who it is. doctors of this office you need to read your reviews so that you know what's going on. Your office is it possible to call and it's been that way off and on for over a yearperiod for 6 months now sometimes the phones works and sometimes they don't I can't even make an appointment and I don't know why. I don't know if anybody else is having that issue. So I guess the only thing left to do is to try to do a walk in because it's 15 miles away. I guess I need to drive up there tomorrow and let them know and hopefully the doctor will be there. I hope that you guys can get the phones fixed in the staff is able to communicate better with the patients. You guys can improve I know you can

Called to make an appointment and the awful telephone service and people skills was enough for not to book! First impressions are unforgettable. The employees are always a reflection of management and office environment.

horrendous awful practice, the worst. They treat patients like crap. The office staff is really stupid rude, incompetent the WORST. I began counseling with julie culp who equally is a terrible bad and trashy person and counselor. Julie seemed really nice at first, but decided she didn't want to see me after one session. Rather than her staff or her letting me know this, julie the snake, kept cancelling appointments which is so unprofessional, rather than telling me, she wasnt going to see me. I scheduled several appts which were constantly cancelled. Then, i had one appt and it was confirmed by the incompetent hispanic female staff members. On my way to the appt i called to confirm it bc/ i recall the times seemed to be wrong. Then the hispanic incompetent employee told me I wasn't in the system for an appointment. Then, they told me I could come in to see julie. Literally I was driving, then turning around, then driving turnnig around. Then the stupid employee called to tell me that julie wasn't seeing me anymore and sent me a letter regarding it. They said they sent me a voicemail explaining it- which is a lie I have the VM where they confirmed my appt with the wrong time. My thoughts are...the most unprofessional discourteous rude practice, and surprised that counselors possess such a lack of consideration for clients who are coming in for therapy- they abuse the patients too. Rather than treat a client with some dignity and respect i was lied to cancelled on constantly with no explanation. What a terrible coward and terrible person. Stay away from the office and bad counselor there..this world has hit the gutter when the people who are there to 'help others' are the ones in need of help, disturbed and out there trying to hurt people...im also a female this is my bf's account

I agree with the office staff being stupid and walking around like zombies with no idea about anything or who you are after 5 YEARS. Law, must return calls in 24hrs, 9 days today, to reschedule, out of medicine and I will sit in the lobby for 2-4 hrs before being seen just to refill. He (no name) has spent those years trying to get in my brain and find out how to heal my problems and help me find peace. I do trust him and appreciate him, it's just the way the staff runs, that makes you Crazy. If the staff ever reads this, you KNOW who I am and who my DR. is, PLEASE, DIAL MY PHONE NUMBER for the reason my husband and I have left SO MANY MESSAGES ABOUT. I'll be waiting...........................

I have been seeing Dr. Farmer for 6 months and he is an amazing doctor. I dont like the wait times and they are always running behind, but I believe it is worth it. They have fit me in without an appointment and have been pleasant each time.

Worst medical practice I've ever encountered. The only positive thing I have to say is on behalf of Rosenne, the PA. She is wonderful, kind, genuine, and the only person with professionalism and empathy at the practice. Janet, the "office manager" is an overly-aggressive, argumentative, rude, embarrassing, "ghetto acting-bobble headed-hand waving in face" kinda gal...extremely professional to deal with. All the other members of staff their agree that she is crazy. I had proof on my phone that there was an accident on my way to an appt and called 24 times without an answer (worse office staff EVER) and when I was rudely confronted on "no showing" like I was trying to somehow swindle them, I asked to speak to the Office Manager and instantly she cut me off and began yelling at me and over my words, not allowing me to get a word in, like some high school chick, waving her hand in my face. She finally let me get a word or two in after being forced to yell back at her so she could actually hear me, and told me to email the 'proof.' I was bawling and shaking during my appointment and told 'she's just like that....that was nothing. Complaining won't get you anywhere, the Dr. is just the same". The next day, I called and asked for the email address to send in proof, and she then (surprise surprise) flipped her lid and began flowin' again, never letting me get a word in, said she doesn't have to give me an email address (?!...), then she wouldn't let me speak to her boss aka Dr. Lazaro or however you spell it. She refused. I told her that I was disgusted with how she acts and treats patients, especially at at mental health practice, she then began yelling, "ARE YOU FINISHED?!" over and over...she asked me "what it is dat you want from me?" and when I'd begin to answer her, she'd yell, "ARE YOU FINISHED? ARE YOU DONE?" when I was calmly attempting to answer her question (this went on for an awkward amount of time)...total INSANITY, this "Janet" woman. I eventually hung up because I was tired of her yelling awfully mispronounced garbage in my ear, and faxed the proof. She surely needs help and anger management classes, and to NOT work with the public, especially patients seeking mental help! Chuck was my therapist (whom I adored) and was the one who was flagging me as a now show, even though I talked to him in person about it, refused to call me back for a week. I was then fed up completely and called and canceled my care with him. Of course, a few days later, he calls and leaves a message for me, speaking slow and weird like I was a 7 year old, telling me to call back. I didn't, I was done. Today I received a phone call saying I am now "discharged" from the practice, which means I can't even see my Doctor, Roseanne. How caring and professional. Obviously Janet skewed what had really happened to the Doctor and you know what they say about 'birds of a feather'...not only do they flock together, but they are irrational and unprofessional, and in it for the money-not the care. (Roseanne was going me a discount because I lost my insurance) They couldn't care less. I've worked in customer service my whole life, even in a medical practice, and I've never witnessed anything or anyone like Janet. Disgusting.

Had appointment for 330. It is now 815pm and still in waiting room.

The negative reviewers are correct.Yes, there is an incredibly dreadful long wait to see Dr. Farmer. Yes,at first until you get to know the staff there is disconnect and they do feel cold and rude. However, it is worth the wait. Dr. Farmer is amazing at what he does. He is a wonder with his knowledge. After a while the staff warms up and are really great and helpful. The elevator is frightful but its part of the charm of the bldg. They lock it down at 5:00 pm for safety. You cannot take it up from the first floor because well it is after all a psychiatric bldg......

I went to this place, for counseling and encountered only horrible office staff and an incompetent rude and stupid counselor. the counselor julie culp, is some form of a psychopath herself or just a mean abusive person. People coming in for counseling are trying to get help- therapy healing. Many counselors out there are just disturbed people themselves...they claim to have compassion but really, they're in the business to be on a powertrip or mistreat people who are vulnerable and need help. These imbecilic low life counselors think that b/c they have a measley masters degree, they have power over clients and others, when really their degree is nothing but a piece of paper that any incompetent fool and idiot can get by studying and reading. the worst is that when i mentioned stockholm syndrome, julie said she had never heard of the term!! she went to 'graduate school' and had never heard of this. You dont have to go to grad school to know what the most commonly known psych term or one of the most common terms is. this was surprising and showed just how clueless this pathetic 'counselor' really was. After spewing my life story to julie, i didnt get much affirmation or reiteration all she said to me was in a condescending way- she looked straight at me and said "you need help." in a stern, strange, and condescending way--again...how rude?? someone coming in for THERAPY after telling their life story does NOT need to be told "they need help' in a condescending nasty way--she is such a bad person and shouldn't be a counselor but needs counseling herself. what a lack of compassion. Also this moronic counselor counselor said she couldn't give me anything after the session- normally she gives people something to take with them--of course isolate and outcast a client on a first session in a passive aggressive manner--this is one pathetic person that no one should go to. On top of being treated oddly in a first session, decent but with some minor rudeness, then this horrid practice along with the awful stupid counselor basically tossed me around kept scheduling and cancelling appointments with no care and treating me like crap, while the nasty counselor made a very lame decision about 'not seeing me anymore' based on irrational reasoning which was the first reason i was going to counseling in the first place. This horrible place doesn't help people- it tries to create new traumas for them...terrible place..

Been trying to help a friend get an appointment. They haven't called her back yet, and every time i try there's never a live person who answers the phone. Can't say this at all reliable, if we cant even establish contact.

I'm in the process of getting my past medical records released to my lawyer so I can be a part of the Risperdal law suite. The females at the counter, you cant call them ladies, are terrible: Barley speak english Terrible attitude I was put on hold with out warning and without music to tell if I'd been dropped of not. Very short on the phone and moody, even combative (it is unreal) These people are going to end up with a Major incident on there hands if they play their games with a person who has sevear anger issues, which is one of the things they treat there. Fire all the people in front and the person who hired them. I will never do business with this place again or recommend it, RUNN AWAY!

This facility is out of this world. I've been suffering from depression for over 20+ years and after 3months of seeking treatment here, I can't begin to explain how human I'm starting to finally feel. Polite & professional to the T

Long and painful here to assist my father the worst customer service

I have to say that while I'm searching and have not gone to this office, the reviews here have been most helpful to guide me away. I appreciate everyone being honest and open. I just wanted to post this so that the office can understand that treating people in the manners described here loses you patients and loses you money. I refuse to give my money to be disrespected. The moment I hand over money, I become a customer AND a patient, but most importantly, I'm a living, breathing human being that has earned respect, dignity, and consideration. I will seek treatment elsewhere.

Been a patient of Dr. Farmer's for several years now, he's a excellent doctor but the sad fact is this office is a living hell. Every time without fail, you'll end up waiting 3+ hours past your appointment time, and if you leave briefly to get some food or get some air, you'll get skipped over (and still charged). The office staff is incredibly rude and has zero sense of urgency and constantly makes mistakes- I've been skipped and had to wait 5 hours! If you're thinking of considering this place, you may want to knock it down a few marks on the list. They've only gotten worse with time.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I made an appointment for my daughter to see Tina Cannon, who is actually a good counselor. The problem is mostly with the staff and with the way the office is run. However, Tina's schedule is so booked it's near impossible to get in which is difficult if your child needs set dates of care. I ended up finding another counselor that worked better with my schedule so I called to cancel all her appointments, the phone rang and rang until going to a voicemail. I left a detailed message with her name and DOB and my phone number to cancel all her appointments. Thinking that everything would be taken care of, I left it at that. The following week I received a call that we had missed an appointment and to call the office. I called again, same situation and I left another message. The next week, another call. Literally 2 minutes after the person called, I called back and got the voicemail where I again left the information. Today, I receive a letter about how I am non-compliant and will be discharged along with a bill for $120 for two missed appointments. Needless to say, they will be getting a call (which probably will get ignored) tomorrow. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere more professional and organized.

I see Dr. Farmer. I regularly wait for at least 1 - 2 hours for my appointments. I ran out of medication because they rescheduled my appointment and after myself and the pharmacy tried to call for 2 days I was finally able to leave a message that got cut off half way through. The office staff has not changed to my married name after over a year. They once decided I didn't have insurance and it took me yelling at the staff in the waiting room like a jerk to convince them to call my insurance. They had the wrong persons information and they confirmed that I did indeed have insurance. The entire experience is incredibly stressful every single time. Watching people walk in, go to their counselor and leave over the course of the time I am there is exasperating. I am at the point where I am willing to self pay to see a doctor who will see me in a timely fashion and even know my real name.

Jennalee Ramos

The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional especially the "office manager", Janet. She is completely incompetent, unwilling to help customers and feels entitled to yell and belittle others. I will never go back.

I have never written a review for any business in my life but I felt compelled to write one after my last visit to this office. The doctors here are amazing...truly the best, I absolutely love them; however the staff is HORRIBLE!! They are extremely RUDE and NASTY! I have never experienced a group of such rude and nasty people in my life. They have attitudes all of the time and then talk about you when they close the check-in window and you can hear everything that they say about you behind the glass. About 2 weeks ago I had an appointment and I was running a little late so I called to advise that I would be a little late and the woman that I spoke to told me to be there before 3pm. I actually made it there around 2:45pm -15 minutes before she told me to be there and when I tried to go up the elevator it was locked! I spent 10 minutes downstairs trying to figure out how to get up to the office. Luckily another patient was leaving and she called for the elevator so I was able to ride up on the elevator. When I finally got to the check-in window I was ignored for another 5 minutes!! When the woman finally came to the check-in window she told me that I was late and wouldn't be seen. Needless to say I was a little upset and irritated. I reminded her that I called and let them know I was running late and was told to be there before 3pm and she said well its past 3pm and then she looked at me and asked me "how I got in anyway" and I told her that I rode up on the elevator that the patient called to leave and she gave me a very nasty look which makes me believe that she knew that the elevator would be locked and that I wouldn't be able to get in when I called to advise that I would be late. She finally asked the office manager to come speak to me and she wasn't any better. She didn't want to listen to a word that I had to say and I let her know that I called inform them that I was running late and that the woman that I spoke to told me to be there by 3pm and the other woman that I first spoke to said "no Shelly, I never said that I told you to be here before 2:40"! So not only are they rude and nasty they lie also! I have NEVER in my life been treated so nasty by anyone. Especially by anyone that works in customer service. I have been calling for almost 2 weeks to schedule an appointment and have left numerous voicemail messages and have yet to have my call returned. The sad thing is that the staff is the wall between the patients and the doctors and if you upset any of the staff they are sure to punish you and make it hard to get an appointment to see the doctors! I wonder how any people have decided to go else where because they don't want to deal with the staff there. I would give the doctors themselves a 100 star rating however the staff deserves less than a 1 star rating!
