My daughter’s pediatrician recommended we see Dr. Negin for depression treatment. She has has shown significant improvement under his care. Very professional/knowledgeable and we love that he honors the appointment times so you don’t have to wait.

His staff is rude!!! I spoke to Hannah today (If that is even her real name) and told her I have Humana and UHC. She told me that they dont accept patients who have two insurances because they dont accept Humana, but they accept UHC.....really??? When I asked to speak to the Office Manager and for her name, she hung up in my face. I had to call back and demand her name and her Office Manager's name. SMH!!! She barely even spoke English and had the nerve to be rude. If that's what I get for trying to make an appointment, I will never call them again.

Been seeing Dr Negin for years. I drive 35 miles just to see him. He returns my calls ASAP, always gets me in for an appointment and has done many things that I have needed in emergency situations. He is very pleasant and professional. I can always count on him which is very important to me.

Dr. Negin is a very caring and thorough physician. He went out of his way to help my son (even while he was on vacation). He took his time to speak with us and understand how to best approach our situation. He's a medical professional so he is busy, leave a message or send an email. He does get back to his patients so the reviews saying otherwise are not true at all.

I was a former patient of Mr. Negin. He treated me for ADHD as a teen and a young adult. A few years ago I cut ties with my prescriptions in hopes of freeing myself from my relationship to pharmaceuticals. i have now been attempting to reach Mr. Negin with no return call for two weeks, Today i left my third and final voice mail politely detailing my request to see him again. Without any proper greeting , Mr. Negin called me back finally saying without warning upon answering "I don't not treat adult ADHD anymore". No "hello" or "good afternoon" just straight to the point. His monotone voice only added to the lack of concern for my request. I completely understand his right to not treat adults for certain issues. All im asking was for a polite and friendly response. Instead left high and dry looking for an appropriate doctor. I would not recommend him for one reason, i want to feel like i am cared for by my doctors and Brett Negin is not that type of Doctor.

I find it OUTRAGEOUS that you can reply to my complaint so quickly but yet you can’t call me back personally to schedule a much needed appt for my daughter. I have absolutely called AT least 15 times, maybe I should give you my office number so you can once again go back to your caller ID and start your count over. This is a very bad representation of your practice that the Dr or Office cannot respond to a family in need bit rather be more concerned about a post. I have literally called 15 times and left five messages to try and get an appointment. I have not received one call back yet. I think people reach out because they need you.

I wasn't even thinking about leaving a review until I saw all of the negative remarks. I've always had a good experience with Dr. Negin. I've never waited long for a return call and I don't think I've ever waited in his office for more than 2 minutes during visits. I think it's pretty unfair that people are leaving such negative reviews but then again, he is a psychiatrist so... kind of goes with the territory.

Dr. Negin is a good guy and is straight to the point. If you are looking for fluffy feelings, hand holding and someone to blow warm rays of sunshine at you, he might not be your guy. However, he is a nice guy, straight to the point and good at what he does. In my particular situation, he has been very accommodating and has verified information requested by third parties when needed and without any hassle. Additionally, making appointments is easy. He returns his own calls quickly. I don't have anything bad to say.

Dr. Negin is absolutely wonderful. Myself and my family have gone to see him for years. He has helped me so much with my own medical issues, and has changed the life of one of my family members with his care and attention. Dr. Negin is not one to sugar coat anything. If you are looking for a warm and fuzzy doctor that will coddle you, he is not for you. If you are looking for an experienced and professional office, and a knowledgeable doctor who is willing to listen and give honest medical advice, then Dr. Negin is the doctor for you. He is the most honest person, and I trust him more than any professional in his field that I've ever experienced. Thank you Dr. Negin for helping myself and my family. Also, Dr. Negin has always called back within 24 hours any time myself or my family has tried to reach him. I have recommended him to many of my friends and family.

Myself and a family member have been under the care of Dr. Negin. He is straight forward and discusses options. He returns calls promptly and the wait to get to see him is not bad. (Usually a few days to get an appointment) Never more than a 10 minute wait in the waiting room.

I am currently looking for a new psychiatrist due to the fact that my current psychiatrist is only in the office from 9-12 on Wednesdays and unfortunately I attend class during that time. The reviews looked great until I started reading the staff replys. I understand internet trolls can hurt businesses and it's unfair. But I would be fired ON SPOT if I posted about one of my patients who name is CLEARLY stated in thier username talking about them constantly asking for abused medications. Huge HIPPA violation and very offensive AND IM NOT EVEN THE PERSON THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT. I feel deep sympathy for those who have life struggles and get treated this poorly. And its very very discouraging for new clients seeking treatment from this practice. If one of the staff could clarify why they repond to thier clients on OPEN internet for everyone to see instead of privately talking to them and addressing their concerns then maybe I would concider seeking treatment here.

Wow I have never seen staff this rude and inconsiderate. Responding to people reviews of them saying what happened and the staff and maybe the doctor respond back being so unprofessional, more than I have ever seen in all my years of seeing/calling psychiatrists/psychologists. I wanted to see this doctor for getting help but after seeing these reviews and mainly the staff responding back, I will find someone else. If the staff didn’t respond back or been more professional when responding back, I would of gave him a chance. The staff calling the patients liars and saying they made up things and talking about what the doctor and the staff said to them is so unprofessional and messed up. 10 plus people saying the same thing is not all lies. Obviously if someone keeps saying the same thing about you all, it is you that has the problem, not the people who left the review to help others. It seems the staff actually needs to see a good psychiatrist because the person responding seems to have some sort of issues. Can’t even imagine what they would be like if they actually called back or went there for an actual appointment. Thank you to everyone who left a review, I will no longer try to get an appointment with them. The staff and doctor should be ashamed.

Wow, the office staff is very quick to leave snarky replies to the negative reviews. Perhaps we leave them so as to help other patients looking for a good psychiatrist. This man is certainly not one I would recommend. I came asking for help as I have anxiety issues and did not want habit forming medication, he threw a sleeping medication prescription at me and saw me to the door. I can only imagine just how much my insurance was billed for him to listen to me speak less than 5 minutes and write a sleeping medication. If you are looking for a doctor that spends more than five minutes with you (I had seen him previously over a DECADE prior so this was not any kind of follow up visit) then I suggest seeking a different doctor.

Really good doctor. My friend's kid sees him and he is doing so much better. I started seeing him and my life has completely turned around. Very smart doctor. He is board certified in both child and adult psychiatry, which after doing much research there are very few doctors in the area board certified in both areas. I also like that he graduated from Tulane Medical School( one of the best med schools in the country). He is really easy going and has gone out of his way to help me. He filled out lots of forms for short term disability for my employer. I literally handed him my credit card for his time filling out the paperwork, and he handed it back saying that was part of his job to fill out paperwork. I highly recommend Dr. Negin if you are looking for a psychiatrist.

Is this even a real doctor? Someone should check. One of the most unprofessional rushed experiences I have ever had. Totally unprofessional in more ways then one. He only cares about getting you in and out as fast as possible and billing your insurance and credit card . Thats it. This doctor is arrogant, rude and unprofessional. He only became a psychiatrist so he can pay for his lavish lifestyle, live in his parkland home and drive around in a Range Rover. Don't go to him and feed his narcism. Find a doctor that really cares.

Absolutely the worst experience that I have ever had!!! This guy doesn't care about you or your issues. All he cares about is billing your insurance company and getting you to reach in your pocket for a copay. The negative reviews are all correct. I wouldn't reccomend this guy if you paid me!

Dr. Negin took care of my son from age 13 to 19. My son had many issues and Dr. Negin was a huge help. He spoke to him directly, honestly, and to the point. He gave me advice and found the right balance of meds for my child.

Great doctor! We have been seeing Dr. Negin for several years. Thank God we found him after many doctors for years were not prescribing the right meds for my son. The first thing he prescribed helped significantly and my son is doing much better ever since. He is helpful over the phone too, and doesn't make us come in all the time like other doctors we had. Very good to speak right to the doctor when calling too, and he always honors appt times without us having to wait. Huge improvement in life compared to the year we spent with the previous doctor, who I'm sure meant well, but was just not as good.

I was a patient of Dr.Negins about 2 years ago. At first getting phone calls back for appointments was easy. Then getting phone calls back was impossible. I would leave voicemails, probably about 3 of them and never got a phone call back. There was no office staff when I had been there, only the doctor. He would make you feel somewhat rushed. Would have left a better review if he answered and or returned calls. And if you no longer want someone as a patient, you should advise that person of the issue.
