Psychiatry is good here but the therapist Elana Spanos sucks. She started our session late and finished early. All she did was print out a filled in template with the diagnosis concealed. Her therapy plan consisted of thinking “happy thoughts” like Peter Pan. I’m not kidding. Waste of money and time.

Where do I even begin. From the moment I stepped into that office I immediately had anxiety that I haven’t felt in a long time! The office has many patients at one time in a very small old, filthy bldg. Patients are mostly unhappy and arguing with front desk. Front desk barely even brushed their hair for work. Wore clothes that look like they roll out of bed and just come to work. Nothing professional about this place what so ever. I don’t do drugs but you’re made to take drug tests like a junkie. ARNP LEFT and never notified patients. Staff made appointments wrote wrong time down on card and then tried to charge me for a “missed appointment” I call to ask about several things and was put on hold multiple times for 15-20 minutes at a time. I wanted stability not pills thrown at me left and right anything I could Have asked for. He wanted me to take ADHD meds while changing others. Any good Doctor knows not to change a bunch of meds at once or you won’t know which one causes issues if one doesn’t agree with you. This office is a CIRCUS SHOW to say the least. I’m glad I found somewhere calm and caring to go. Somewhere that is ran professionally and with compassion and empathy. You people lack all of the above and honestly should not be in mental health. Run from this place. Their front staff is horrendous and speaks to you like a child, argues and tries to talk over you. She needs to be fired. I never in my life would ever employ such a person. If they keep a person such as herself I want nothing to do with a Doctor who willingly knows he has such incompetent and rude staff. R U N A W A Y!!! Find another place to go because they are the worst

AVOID THIS PLACE. No idea how this place got so many five stars. Dirty, unprofessional, horrible intake experience, they gave me false information to get me in, had to wait a month and they have this attitude like they're paying you or that you are required to be there.

He asks me every visit what I want which is the medicine I need for seizures. I'm in his office for 5 minutes maybe. I have to go every two weeks for a useless "meeting". He's a money-grubbing useless Dr. I'm changing ASAP.

I have been going attending this practice for 6 months now. In the 6 months I have been going for add I have only been able to do a total of 3 weeks worth of medication (2 different kinds). Jean is who I see and is great when you are there in person. She really listens and asks lots of questions to figure out what you need. The staff however falls short. Because I have BCBS insurance, every medicine needs a pre-authorization. This office is HORRIBLE about sending them. I literally call every week to ask if they did it, remind them to do it, and always get the same line “we will check and call you back”, however no one does usually (got call backed two or three times ever I believe). I have been jumping through hoops trying a couple generics but apparently there are 5 needed to be tried before any name brands (and the insurance company faxed this to them on the denial of the medication authorization). Jean prescribed adderall since I’m the past it worked for me, however due to not trying all other 5 generics it was denied. Jean told me we would try again and in the event it was denied she would send a prescription for something else. Well that was 5 weeks ago and I keep calling about having a different med sent over and today I finally get a call back saying “ if I want to be prescribe something else I need to come and see the doctor first to go over exactly what would be needed with my condition”. THAT IS EXACTLY WHY I HAD TO GO 5 WEEKS AGO AS WELL (just for a diff prescription-one that she already didn’t think would get approved)! Today I spoke with a woman named Melissa that instead of asking the doctor to just send in a prescription for an approved medication on the list (insurance sent to them ) said I would need to come in ONCE AGAIN and pay $75 for the doctor to send in a new prescription to the Pharamacy. I asked for a discount since $75 is what I pay for the actual doctors check up / consult and since I just paid to get a different prescription however, as suspected did not work and that Jean said she would do it and that they can see this has been an on going issue with the medication/insurance approval/ getting them to send in authorizations (“because Jose hasn’t had a chance to get around to it because he’s been so busy”) . Melissa immediately shut me down saying this is on my insurance company not on Jean. I understand that but what needs to be understood is that this office is about the MONEY! They don’t care to help make your life any easier or to help you navigate through the insurance process. You are on your own for all that. I do not see what the big deal is about having a generic prescription sent in without seeing me again when the pre-authorization denial was sent to them 3 days after they turned it in Telling them which ones would be approved when it’s all the same symptoms and issues! They clearly see that the medication was denied so it’s not like they think I’m stocking up on a bunch of pills. Meanwhile every time I go I pay $75 just to go and have a new one sent to the Pharamacy and later to find out once again a ball was dropped or and that I’m still not being able to get my prescription. It’s bs! Make sure that you Go with a list of what is approved ahead of time so you don’t have the same problem as me.

Dr. Boris Kawliche and his staff are very non-professional and rude! I have seen Dr. Boris Kawliche for over 6 years. On 12/17/2018 I saw him and everything went fine, I also scheduled with the local counselor and was going to do a TMS series of treatments. Upon picking up my scripts that get electronically sent in by the doctor, I was refused to get my scripts that had only been written for 2 weeks and were going to be available for pick-up on the 17th, but my 2 week script was due to be out on Friday, 12/21/2018, per the pharmacist. I called the doctor concerning this and was unable to talk to him. A girl named Jamie was relaying messages to the doctor and he was not concerned that I would be out of my medications for 4 days over the holidays. He rarely listened to me and only wanted to shove more prescriptions my way, without really describing the effects of new medication. I suffer from severe depression, anxiety, PTSD and chronic pain and was very suicidal. Which he knew and let go on my last appointment even though I said I had attempted suicide. I would also like to add that after seeing Dr. Boris Kawliche for 6 years and having my diagnoses, immediately dropped me as a patient because of the prescription problem over the holidays, when I needed help the most. On the 21st I was forced to call all hot lines and providers for a break down I was having after receiving the letter that Dr. Boris Kawliche dropped me immediately, with-out explanation, due to the prescription issue over the holidays, when I needed help the most. I would never suggest Dr Boris Kawliche or his “practice” to anyone, especially with someone with severe issues, he will drop you in a minute. In his profession you would think a person with diagnoses similar to mine were to display any of those symptoms, he will abandon you at a heart beat.

TMS treatment from Dr. Kawliche has made a huge difference in my life. I still get depressed and anxious at times, but I bounce back from them MUCH more quickly than I used to. I know using magnetic fields to improve your mood and mental health sounds like pseudoscientific mumbo-jumbo, but it is FDA approved, backed up by years of studies and covered by most insurance plans. Don't let how it SOUNDS fool you. Look it up and then try it yourself if you are a candidate.

Dr Kawliche and his nurse practitioners are awesome. I’m going through a lot in my life right now and they are helping me deal with loss and addiction. The nurse Shelby is great as well as Jose the receptionist and the young lady Briana. Great place for people who actually need help. Some of the patients that are leaving these awful reviews must of abused the policies of the practice because the nurse explained everything in great detail if you fall off track they try to help you but there is only so much they can do. Like me we are high risk patients so if we don’t follow the rules they infortunetly say in the rules before you even see a doctor that they have the right to discharge you. Love that they are strict and on time. I wish I could leave Six stars

I have zero complaints about this practice! I had never been to a psychiatrist prior to this and i was petrified that I would feel judged or that the office would be too “stuffy” if you will, it is not! Everyone is laid back, no one ever seems stressed or makes me feel like an inconvenience. Deanna Mann one of the ARNP’s is great! She talks to me like a friend, she is hilarious, down to earth and amazing at her job! I feel completely comfortable in the office. The process is very quick which is always a plus for a doctor’s office. I have only met Dr. Kawliche once but he was super chill! He’s professional and knows his stuff but also comes across as a regular guy and I truly appreciate not feeling intimidated by my care providers! I always recommend this office to my friends if they ask me where I go! You can get an appointment quickly, they have late office hours for the 9-5 workers, and they are super flexible if I need to change my appointment. Literally nothing negative to say. Thanks for being amazing, everyone!

All this Dr wanted to do was give me pills and up the dose when I didn't feel any different. He did not take time to get to know me, my first appointment lasted about 15 minutes, the second one was 5. The wait time is ridiculous and the doctor either can't hear or just doesn't listen. I will never go back. The office staff was mostly friendly, but they don't make up for the doctor's lack of care.

These people are a joke, I was a patient here for a few months, all they did was treat me for bipolar disorder and ignored my other conditions. After a few months I went back to schedule a appointment and in the process a old guy keeps poking at my shoulder , I told him to keep his hands to himself and he proceeded to yell and square off so I simply told him to step outside. He refused and some lady walks out yelling at me. I let her know that he kept putting his hands on me and that I don't appreciate that. Fast forward two days later and I receive a letter stating that I threatened a patient. Lmao never happened. I was recording on my phone the whole time. No big deal forgot to mention the old guy is a white Male and I'm Hispanic. Very sad day when you stand up for yourself and you get penalised for doing so.

I have been coming here for a year , The staff is helpful a very friendly. Dr. Kawliche is pretty laid back and understanding, He is straight the point , helpful and doesn’t waste your time which I appreciate. Most doctors take forever to get you back but they are fast and efficient . As soon as you sign in you almost immediately go straight to vitals , The lady that does then is really nice and makes you feel welcomed . When you are done you head back to the Doctor. This place is the worse. Prior my first appointment I was not advised to come two hours in advance, just told me to be 15 mins max prior my appointment and to fill out documents online. I followed steps they told me but when I got there they said i needed to reschedule because I was no tjere "in time" when I just did what they told me to. Then they made me seem like I was crazy and I had to leave and lose a whole job day for this. This is unacceptable and disappointing you go for help and they just give you a hard time.

First I must say that the lady who took my vitals was great, she gave me a wonderful first impression. However, Jean and Dr. Kawliche are horrible. I spent 5 minutes in her office before seeing the Dr for a few seconds and then was prescribed Zoloft. They took NO time to actually talk to me and discover what was going on, and how to really help me. To them I was just another paying patient they had to get through. Do not come here.

Went to see Dr Kawliche about TMS from a referral of a friend as a last resort for back pain chronic depression for years! Ty Becky; after the 1st treatment on my back it went from 10 a 0 using using TMS!! UNBELIEVABLE -I HAVE ARTHRITIS ON MY SPine for years, it's a rare form of an auto-immue disease, family inherited from my father! ankyolisis spondlysis, mostly mem get It. AutoImmune disease!! I have tried everything from a tens unit, trigger point injections, PT, antidepressants, YMCA pool therapy. CMT-talk therapy for year, medications to a chiropractor, none helped but TMS DID!! I like Jean a lot. Front office greeter is absolutely awful. She is rude and unprofessional. We called to change our appointment. The mailbox was full on Saturday and you have 24 hours to make the changes. ( they had to know the mailbox is full). So we responded to the text message to show them as proof we tried to change it on Saturday. I proceeded to call first thing Monday morning and changed the appointment and they knew the mailbox was full. When we came to our appointment a month later the office worker stated we owed 75$ for not giving 24 hour notice. I showed her the proof. She knew we called and changed it too. She said I had to bring now the phone call proof. I already had more than 100 phone calls since that one on my phone but did show the response to the text message. She was absolutely rude and acting like we were lying. So disgusted and the money isn’t the issue. Her rude condescending nature. I own a business and I would not put up with that for a minute from any employee . Sad thing is she absolutely knew the mailbox was full and I was telling the truth. She really needs to be fired.

Amazing staff, amazing Doctor that doesn't promote a pill mill. You can usually tell by the patients, but everyone is pleasant and look like normal people. I've had the luxury of having Dr.K since he first started his own practice...He does NOT just give out pills but has an action plan and specific guidelines if you need a medication. He monitors your every move and makes sure your in good hands. If it weren't for Dr.K and his therapy I would of lost my job as a bar Manager for a nice sports bar. This doctor's office is filthy. The waiting room looks like it's falling apart. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, dirty chairs. The staff are incompetent, the doctor prescribed a new medication for me and when the pharmacy kicked it back to the office due to an insurance issue, no response was ever received by the pharmacy. Dr. Kawliche is dangerous. He weaned me off of a medication I had been on for years, to supposedly start me on a new med. However, by his office procedures being sloppy, he never followed through with the new prescription and I suffered the side effects of being off of a medication. They required a urine test for each visit and want you to come back monthly to get a NON-narcotic prescription filled. They just want to make money on the appts & tests, from what I can tell. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. Trust me.
