Dr .Potluri is a piece of shit and so is his racist employees I was having a mental Chrisis today June 4 2019 he called the police on me not to get bakered acted but to take me to jail Dr.Potluri staff is lazy most time his front desk clerks and office manager are on their cell phone and doing nothing .He is over billling medicare for treatments he is not performing I had left when police arrived Dr Potluri gave the police my name in which violates hippa laws I was not a threat to myself nor to the office staff..Dr Potlurru balled his fist up as if he was going to strike me... Dr Potiluri has bad temper and he tried to slam me in the door as I was leaving out of his office Dr.Potluri is a fraud he was seeing me every month their was no need to see me every month so his staff could over bill Medicare. Doctor Potlurri only hire hispanic staff and no othe race I would like to see a diverse staff.. This is the worst Clinic you could ever go to.. Dr Potluri is not a good listerner and force meducations that is not needed so he can over bill medicare...Dr Potluri business is based on networking he wanted me to change my pharmacist too his friend pharmacy in Poncianna next to his new office. Dr.Potluri is going down when the feds find out about him overmedicating and not properly diagnosing the patient and over billing the state Insurance.....His staff is very unprofessional worst clinic ever... Dr Potluri violated my hippa rights by giving the police my name because I did know wrong....Dr Potluri is the worst doctor ever..Dr Potluri office is a fraud..What Doctor Porluru did know I was disrespected by his office manager she is disrespectful bitch..Dr Potluri denied me Medical care and I was having a mental break at that time.

Speaking on behalf of my spouse, the persons who work in the office are rude, incompetent and WILL LIE like cowards to the Dr. when the patients complain about their issues for instance noting when a patient cancels or reschedules an appt. Also, good luck getting them on the phone. And don’t waste your time leaving a messsage, they erase them to cover their ass ( I was in the waiting area during my wife’s appt. and heard the office manager brag to a co-worker in Spanish that she does that and then tells the patients they never left a message, I guess she didn’t think I understood her......surprise). That was the last time my wife went there. When my wife complained about this to the doctor, he blindly defended his incompetent underlings. THAT says a lot about him TOO. Go somewhere else unless you like dealing with imbeciles.....

Even with copies of my medical history, medications, and consent to access previous records, Potluri did not renew a single one of my meds for me...but he still charged for the office visit!! I have been off my meds for over 3 weeks now because of this. Careless and rude, I do NOT recommend. Dr. Kotadia is wonderful, though.

I try not to leave negative reviews, as I believe if you have nothing good to say, better to say nothing at all. That being said, the staff at this office has pushed me past my limits, and I have to speak out some way. Let me start by saying that Dr. Kotadia is a very nice Doctor. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I have no issues with him* (see update). My issues lie with, as everyone else here has said, the front office staff. Specifically, with how they do not answer their phones, or deliver messages. Case in point, my local pharmacy has run out of my medication, and I need the Doctor to send a prescription to another one that does have it. I've called numerous times, and the phone repeatedly goes unanswered. Even worse, both my pharmacy, and the one I'm trying to get the prescription transferred to, have both told me they've called and left messages, and theres been no answer. Also, I've called during the times they're supposed to be open - only to hear their after hours recording play. The one time I got them to answer the phone- Yomaira told me she'd have the Doctor call in my prescription first thing in the morning - only to find, shockingly, that it didnt get done. Now, I'm out of medication Bottom line, if you think you'll never have to call in, or live close enough to just go there in person, sign up as a patient. If not, you've been warned. Update: I had someone call me back, and tell me Dr. Kotadia said he can't issue another prescription for me because it is a controlled substance, but that if I should have any symptoms, to go to the emergency room. So what on being told is, that my Dr - Dr. Kotadia, does not care if I run out of medication, and basically is just saying, get sick and go to the ER. Figure it out yourself. I will be looking for a new Doctor. Hopefully one who actually cares about his patients, and doesn't just say, get sick and go to the ER.

First time I when he was running behind and maid me wait a extra 30 minutes while he talked to a representative this running a hour behind and when I asked to reschedule they charge a 25 fee most the ladies in office is good but there is one that sould be fired if you can I would go somewhere else

As a professional counselor myself, I can truly say Dr. Potluri possesses all of the qualities I seek in a health care provider. Dr. Potluri is knowledgeable, engaging, compassionate, and places great effort in making sure his patients are cared for with the dignity and respect the deserve. Office staff are great. I am always in and out with minimal wait time. I would highly recommend Dr. Potluri and his care team to adults and children.

Amazing doctor ! I have been seeing Dr. Potluri for about 8 years now and I feel like it has been a lifetime. That's how much positive change I have had in my life. I've had stomach issues my whole life and was never asked by a doctor about any anxiety. So much pain and unnecessary medical procedures could have been resolved if I had gone to a psychiatrist sooner. I was always so anxious and any stress would result in obsessive and irrational thoughts. Within a month with , I was experiencing very little to any anxiety and depression. My stomach issues are under control now without any stomach medications. I would have never dreamed that I could go a day without anxiety and yet, here I am. One of the biggest things I appreciate about Dr. Potluri is that he works until he has you on the right dosage of medications and monitors you closely while he is adjusting dosages or adding/subtracting medications. Also, he has and encourages you to attend one of several support groups in the community. It is so encouraging to see that you are not alone in your mental health journey. Im so happy in a way I haven't been before, have increased energy, and it has allowed me to be a better person and more importantly, a better mom! I believe this physician is ARROGANT and will not listen nor do the history and physical research required to PROPERLY REFUSE A DIAGNOSIS OF SCHIZOPHRENIA!! Really my son had been treated FINALLY AND SUCCESSFULLY AFTER 12 yrs of incorrect medications overdoses of very harsh antipsychotic WRONG HARMFUL PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS THAT CAUSED LIFE THREATENING COMAS TWICE ! ABILIFY MAINTENA (1 injection every 30 days changed everything for my son in a few days he had some lucidity and diagnosed by dr MOBIN 6/17 ) has improved since She dr MOBIN took the chance .. because nothing was working for 12 years . Harm was actually being done ! This new injection is the very best medication for schizophrenia and changes EVERYTHING! Yet he told my son ( unless my son is lying which really he normally does not lie to me but now since Potluri told him he wanted him OFF the ABILIFY because “mom is wrong “ . “You are fine “! What is it with mom and psychiatrists ?? .. if you have schizophrenia or if you think you may have schizophrenia do not go to this physician.

Mr. Potluri is a very professional physician. He has never maid me wait in th waiting room too long and is also very thorough . His entire staff has always made me feel at home and i do believe they really care about their patients. Always a good experience when i have been there :)

A nightmare! What a DISASTER :( It was the most awful experience of my life. After having several surgeries, a heart attack, my father passing away, etc I had a Major Depressive Disorder, another pre-heart attack and a minor stroke. On top of a severe heart condition (Cardiac Insufficiency) with Atrial Fibrillation, Fibromyalgia, Reumathoid Arthritis and more, I used the services of this doctor. I had already been placed on "permanent disability" by 3 other doctors, so I did not need him to place me on disability. The major problem is the office. I had an altercation with his receptionist. I had called requesting a letter to my airline stating I could not travel because I suffer from severe panic attacks and was having tachycardia (4 lines). The letter had to be redone 3 times, and it took 2 months to be ready. Doctor himself told me he was there to treat patients not to give out letters. Rosa, the receptionist, started saying that Dr. Potluri does not give disability to anybody. I said that I was already on permanent disability, I only needed the letter stating that HE IS TREATING ME SINCE JANUARY 2015, which was the truth. She proceeded to say that they have a lot of patients that needed disability more than I do, that they have patients that are "bi-polar, bi-polar" and they were not on disability, that they have a patient, an attorney, who is schizophrenic and he was not on disability. She proceeded to say that I was not sick, and that I should NOT be on disability, that my condition was curable, that she had a condition that was not curable and she was not on disability...). Nobody has the power or authority to discuss my medical condition with me or anybody else except the doctor...and she had other people in the office, I could hear voices in the backgrownd. I was so distressed that I decided to ask her: - What do you know about me? Who do you think you are to tell me if I should or should not be on disability? What do you know about my condition? She proceeded to say: I Know enough; am the office manager!!! Well, I was very disappointed because this woman kept on going and going telling me what I should do or not, what medications I should take or not. She even spoke about a pharmecogenomics test that I "should" take (which I had taken at their office) and she insisted that it was not true because she was the only person that performed that test, so that the test had never been done… Then she proceeded to say: "Oh, they are right here"!!! I was about to explode when I decided to ask her: Is Dr. Potluri in the office?- "No, Dr. Potluri is on vacation". BINGO ! This was the reason why this woman kept on acting like she knew everything! No need to say that when the doctor came back from vacation SHE HAD ALREADY TOLD HIM THE STORY HER WAY... As a second note to Rosa: - Honey, I have 2 College degrees, a Master’s Degree and I'm a Certified Translator in 4 languages. I'm a Diabetes Educator, I've been in the medical field my whole life and I am 59 years old. I've worked for the biggest and better pharmaceutical companies in the world with a very high position (not a front desk receptionist). You think you're smart, and you were stupid enough to discuss my medical condition over the phone with me in front of other people? THAT IS A HIPAA VIOLATION, did you know that? I should contact your attorney patient who is a schizophrenic, so he could sue you. Think you're smart? What on earth are you doing as a receptionist? Well... With that attitude I don't think you will ever move farther than that anyway . :( Dr. Potluri is not a compassionate doctor, and if you need a letter they will not be willing to help. I moved to California to pursue another degree. I am now a Certified Medical Interpreter by the Board of Medicine in USA. I might still sue them for violating HIPAA... Every time I was in the office she would be talking on the phone, with patients in front of her, reading other patient's Medical Records, including mine! My Medical condition being discussed in front of others is a HIPAA Violation!

I LOVE Dr Potluri. His staff is terrible at responding to phone calls and messages. If you don't have emergencies, it's fine. He's a progressive and intelligent doctor. It's taken me years to find one that is any good. I'm just really concerned about the staff with the exception of the nurse. She is wonderful!

Front office needs to communicate better. Receiving Doctors letters to employer may take up too a month. Due to lack of communication with other staff. Leaving voice mail is useless as I've been told several times my voice mail was not received.

This place is all about prescribing medications and make money from it. As a psychiatrist you do not degrade a patient just because I have a condition does not mean I wont have knowledge of things which I dont need a degree to do so. I never had a problem with the staff but the doctor hes been so assuring that my son is getting better with medications medications its all about medications I told him my son has not change medication is not the answer for him we can not always control autism with medications it takes more than that to manage only a parent knows their own children just to clarify something my son is in a environment where he has no over stimulation to act up in the office thats why hes always on his best behavior because hes not overwhelmed comparing to other places in public you need to use other considerations about autism not just medications thats making him behave well when he first came in he wasnt acting up much but its because he was not familiar with the environment of course due to his sensory not because of the medications and telling me im in denial lol!!!!!! Look im always with my son i know how he is dont degrade me because your a doctor doesnt mean you know everything even a behavior analyst handles autistics better than a doctor as a psychiatrist they only write prescriptions as for a behavioral therapist they take action and train the child and know whats the causes of these behaviors. I know alot about autism than you think but just because a child visits the office with no behavior problems does not mean that they do not have behavior problems else where is the medications did function he wouldnt still be aggressive and violent else where for your information! It takes more than medications to treat autism! behavior therapy is more effective! Do not degrade me and say im in denial! because i never am i dont care about his opinion your not there 24/7 with my child im an honest person rather its negative or not thats too bad hes gotten better at school because with the aba therapy internvention plan we made with the school staff again not the medications! Im looking somewhere else

This place is the worse of the worse!!! The office staff is the worse specially the manager. This is a place to have complete care for people with mental issues and I feel that the Dr. should look into the front office start and make some adjustments because is not worth the hassle. Now the PA and the Dr. are good individuals but the office staff is the worse of the worse. If you can deal with the staff then go for it. But for me is a migraine headache. There is better places with more convenience location and friendly service in town!

Dr. Kotadia is a great doctor. You can tell he knows medication very well and is caring in the management of the medications. He never lets you go without a refill and does his best to address your concerns. However, the staff is COMPLETELY horrible and unfortunately I quit going. Multiple reviews that warn you about the front desk/office manager are sadly true. They erase messages, the head Physician, Dr. Potluri defends his staff but it’s sad he is blinded to how they treat patients. You’re look at as “crazy” so your story couldn’t possibly be factual.... sadly many patients have been run off by his incompetent staff and he’s too cheap to hire more help. *sigh*. Dr. Kotadia falls under Dr. Potluris supervision so he of course, is impartial. I wish he would open his own practice. All the staff there seem miserable and I’ve even heard them discussing the management in front of patients because they were “too cheap to offer their staff health insurance.” They’ve left patient information out for exposure at the front desk multiple times and violated HIPAA. When bringing these concerns to the head doctor he grossly defended the ILLEGAL acts and told me if I was not happy; to go and “one or two bad google reciews isnt going to hurt his business.” Well... it’s not one or two lol... it’s multiple. When you upset multiple people and make them mad with your poor patient care, shady staff, and incompetent customer service - you lose business. Overall, great doctor - horrible practice. Not worth the hassle or the drama. Found a new provider who’s been treating me - doesn’t look at their patients as “just another number and insurance payment”. It’s all about the $ and the billing there. Wish Dr. kotadia would transition somewhere else - he’s too good for that trap.

I have never seen staff as rude as in this place especially the “manager”Rosa! OMG, how are they still in business when the place is ran by this arrogant human being?! TAKE MY FREE ADVICE and never go to this place. You will be treated with the most disrespect, unprofessional staff. I can go through the details but I will end up writing a book. Think of the worst place you have been treated at, this place is even worse. Not sure if the doctor reads these reviews, if he is. First step to take is change your office manager, she is far from fit for the position.
