Now the business has a rating of 2.0 out of 5 and that score has been calculated on 19 reviews.

You must have seen that its rating is very weak, and it's founded on a very high number of reviews, so we can say that the rating is quite reliable. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the business, is that it works.

You know that we don't usually stop to give feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

I have called this office five times to make an appointment. No one ever answers the phone and all you can do is leave a message. It has been two weeks now and they still have not responded. I guess it's better I found out now that they are a mess. I would hate to have a doctors office who does not answer calls or return messages. I feel for their current patients who suffer from anxiety because this will add to it.

The Doctors are very good. The office and billing department are rude and unhelpful. We have had numerous appointment cancellations without notice as well as unexplained excess billing. The overall company also changes its insurance every 6 months or so. This is a huge issue for us because it is the reason we get our appointments cancelled. This is all very upsetting because we like the doctors. In addtion they take insurance for the psychiatrists and not the therapists yet we need both. Again this is the psychiatric center practice not the doctors.

Dr. Williams is the worst! He always run at least an hour behind. Wastes a lot of time talking about the stupidest things. Go somewhere else. The old lady receptionist is very rude!!!! She makes everyone stand there and pretends to be working on something while the line is getting longer! I hate having to go there! She puts patients in a bad mood before they are even seen for therapy. She needs to do us all a favor and retire. The younger girls are much nicer and pleasant.

I’ve had a wonderful experience at Penn Psych and would recommend the practice to friends and family

expect to wait an hour past your scheduled appointment time just to see someone.

They are horrible. I was very clear when I scheduled my appointment when I asked for an appointment with a doctor who would help me manage a particular medication. I was scheduled with Dr Williams, who -within 5 minutes- told me that he does not prescribe that medication. He proceeded to get angry with me when I told him that there was no reason for me to have been scheduled with him, and that there was nothing else to discuss. He actually shouted at me at one point and I had to try to calm him down when I told him the appointment was a was not going to do me any good and that I was ready to leave. I strongly urge you not to use Penn Psychiatric.

My son, who has Asperger's and I went to Dr. Kendal to get some help for personal issues. Dr. Kendal put us on the defensive from the start. He made it obvious that he thought it wasn't necessary that his Mommy be in the meeting and belittled him because he needed help filling out the forms. He became defensive when he asked if we get flu shots and we said no. He began to shout in my sons face that he was going to kill pregnant woman and they're unborn baby. Dr. Kendal told my son to stop mumbling, (not knowing it is part of his disability) at this point I could tell by my sons face that he was getting upset. Dr. Kendal condescendingly, asked my son (who is 26) if he could read, and then told him to read a long letter about insurance and your rights, at which point my son looked over at me and I said just sign it, and Dr. Kendal said oh, you read fast, knowing that he couldn't have read it fully. Dr. Kendal than asked him to fill out a paper with his primary doctors address, which my son didn't know. When I started to help him Dr. Kendal ripped the paper out of my hand and said that's not legal, at which point my son got up and left and I said it's obvious you don't know how to work with the public. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, I WOULD NOT BRING MY DOG TO SEE HIM!!!!!

I tout genteel manners of office personnel, and assigned professional mental health professionals. The latter include an amiable gentleman psychiatrist, (with whom scheduled appointments recur about every eight weeks), and cheerful individual therapist, who allocates a specific session every Monday already booked until the end of time. A sincere authentic care for this client overrides any lament predicated whereby either the doctor, and/or the rapport with delightful gal both actively listen to emotional crisis shared by yours truly, i.e. me.

Katrina Sullivan

Worst place ever. Doctors take their time. They dont care if you have some place to go. Ridiculous. I would give then NO stars if I could.

I have been coming to the collegeville location ever since i was 13yrs old.. The wait in the waiting was pretty awful back then but as of currently it has certainly improved. While the wsit im sure still happens, its not as bad. They reply to messages in a decent timely manner.. I do enjoy most of the staff, theyre friendly and helpful.

Jane Dolomeyer is a petty lady who violated HIPPA. Don't talk behind the backs of your patients, Janie poo.

Not a good place for the fact that Chris the therapist falls asleep during sessions and Janette is a nasty person at the front desk. I've heard her on several occasions bad mouthing patients when they leave as I'm sitting in the waiting room. She's a vile person. I'll be reporting them.

Remo Miniello Jr

worst doctors ever they do fast med checks they discharge patients without care. I ended up in the hospital cause the doctor ran out of his 15 mins to change my meds. he decided to discontinue all meds at once.

Dr. Farag has been my Psychiatrist for over 20 yrs . Since I have been going to him I have gotten a better hold on my life . I feel that the Collegeville office is very helpful and understanding of me and my situation .

I would love to give a zero, but not an option. I waited two months for an appointment to see these people. After forty-five minutes in the waiting room with no explanation, I gave up and left, since other people were still waiting for earlier appointments. TERRIBLE TIME MANAGEMENT. Shameful. Do not book here. You will NEVER BE SEEN. They should be investigated.

Doctors come and go at Penn Psych monthly (so it seems) so don't expect a stable doctor or nurse practitior. It's hard to get ahold of them, and even harder to make an appointment. Also, plan on a 30-45 minute wait once you check in, since it seems like they're constantly double booking appointments. Worst of all, the the psychiatrists do not care about their patients, and are so obviously there to rush you in, and rush you back out again. It's a cold building, with an even colder staff. Not the kind of establishment that should be dealing with mental health patients. I honestly can't believe I remained as a patient as long as I did, without seeing any self progress that could be attributed to the help of Penn Psych. Do NOT go there, it is a waste of time.

Kathleen Blair

I like my current therapist and doctor, but the administrative staff are the worst I have ever experienced. The older woman who works the front desk (Janette?) is condescending to clients and constantly talks trash about clients and her coworkers for the whole waiting room to hear. Phone calls are rarely answered and voicemails are never responded to. I've had to wait up to a month for this office to submit prior authorizations for meds the doctor prescribed, which caused me to have severe withdrawal symptoms from stopping the meds abruptly. There's also high staff turnover (I'm on probably the 6th prescriber in 2 years) and long wait times. If you have any other choice, don't go here. BTW, isn't the owner response to Mr. Miniello's review a HIPAA violation? I hope my info isn't publicly revealed because I dared to leave a bad review. As I said, the office staff are total garbage.

This place is GARBAGE. How they handle patients is atrocious. Get better help somewhere else!
