I had tried to convey a sense of urgency that I had had three deaths in my family, cleaning out of those loved ones home's, and that my own home had burned completely down, plus trying to work, plus being mom, all in a 10 month span. I stressed I was not able to focus, that I was not able to use the non mediated tools I had learned over the years to successfully function with my adult ADD during this season of my life and that I really would appreciate an appointment as soon as possible. My ADD symptoms were worse and I recognized I should possibly go back on Ritalin as I was when I was younger. It was effective when I used it. That call was back in November of 2017. They gave me an appointment for the beginning of March 2018. That is not responsive, nor responsible. It was disappointing as I had also asked to be put on a cancellation list. However, thankfully, I found the WONDERFUL WHEELER CLINIC empathic, responsive and they gave me an immediate appointment for the day after I called for my evaluation. I recommend if there is any sense of urgency not to call Dr. Katz. Apparently they weren't able to squeeze me in for over 4 months. He may be wonderful once inside for an appointment but if they really cared about people they would've proved it with actions... Just my opinion.

My child was referred to Dr. Katz 5+ years ago when her pediatrician felt her ADD medication warranted a more thorough review by a physician with more experience. Dr. Katz has been though in obtaining information from school and family, and he adjusted her medication to a highly effective level. We are grateful for his involvement and that fact that his expertise has greatly improved my childs school and life functioning as a result.

I have been a patient of Dr. Katz for over 5 years and he has been very helpful. As an adult with ADHD, it's not easy to admit or seek help. Dr. Katz has helped me turn my life around and since I've been his patient, I've had numerous promotions at work and my personal life is great. I only wish I would've met him sooner. Diane is awesome, she is always cordial and goes out of her way to help. I would recommend anyone who is looking for an ADHD specialist to see Dr. Katz and trust that he will REALLY help you and you wont be just another CO-PAY.

Dr. Katz takes his work very seriously and handles things in a professional manner which makes me feel secure as a patient. He listens and makes sure to answer any questions you may have. It's hard to get an initial appointment, but afterwards the scheduling is prompt.
