The receptionist here is absolutely terrible. She was completely rude to me over the phone, in all manner of tone and words, when I simply asked whether or not my bill had been sent to my insurance. This is a PSYCHIATRY office, people calling here have anxiety and other issues and we don't need to be treated like like we're incompetent or not worth their time or the money we're paying to be seen. It's insulting, and if I were the doctors working at this practice, I would not want that woman to be the first person my patients speak to. I will be discontinuing patient services here after this experience, and I feel bad for anyone else who has to deal with this awful woman.

My first appointment with Dr. Batterbee was yesterday. He was super caring and helpful and listened to and answered all of my questions. I called last night with a question and sent an email today with information for Dr. Batterbee, as I have a communication disability and cannot always communicate right in office, and the receptionist was right on it, called me back, took down my question and offered for me to write more if I think of anything else for him when he's in office tomorrow. This is the first time I've felt that a psychiatrist was truly in it to help their patients. Thank you Dr. Batterbee and receptionist Valerie!
