Lindsay is an amazing provider! I am a nurse so I am super picky with the people who care for me. Lindsay is just one of those people who helps you realize everything is going to be ok, then shows you how. Super patient, caring, and knowledgeable in treatment options; always listens to my concerns. Thank you, Lindsay!

I have been nothing but pleased seeing Lindsay Pratscher since moving to Denver eight months ago. She is a great listener and helped me get my medication stable. I have also found the front desk and phone staff to always be friendly. Although I live 45 minutes away in Arvada, I have no plans of looking for a closer provider because I don't want to risk losing the care I have gotten from this CPC location.

Both my son and I are patients. I like the desk staff and doctors. Michelle Hill is great with my son and has done wonders for him. My biggest complaint is how prescription refills are handled. I have had 2 times where a refill for my son was not called in properly and I don’t become aware of this problem until it’s too late and I’m out of the medication. When I call the office and explain that due to a problem on their end with the pharmacy that I need the prescription immediately, I’m argued with and told that there’s no way to speak to an actual provider to get the situation resolved. I’ve never dealt with a mental health/ doctor office that doesn’t have a manger or emergency nurse/doctor to speak to for immediate assistance.

They have been kind, caring, and attentive while helping my child with her issues. Our lives have improved greatly since our first visit.

My daughter has been seeing Lindsay and we have been so happy. Lindsay has been incredibly helpful in getting my daughter's meds to the right levels as well as giving us strategies to help her with her ADHD and anxiety.

John Kroshus

Very petty and mean spirited front office. Late 10 minutes, appointment rejected and charged $100 without my approval. Not in the Hippocratic Spirit and my child suffered because of it. Not recommended.

This place has really gone down hill lately. Inconsistent co pay amounts. One month it was $29, the next month they wanted $150. I've cycled through 3 doctors in the past 18 months. The most recent Dr wrote my name and birthday wrong on my prescription and spent a lot of our session talking about herself.

Lindsey is a joy to come see. Very invested and caring. So glad I found her.

Sarah Jo

I see Kristen and has always been flexible with my meds. We finally got the cocktail that really helps! She is pleasant to talk to and I've never a problem with her or other staff says members

Lindsay has been a great support for our daughter for about a year now. She's incredibly receptive to our questions and concerns. It always feels like she has our daughter's best interest at heart, but can understand our interests as well. She's also incredibly kind; our daughter loves going to see her.

Danielle

The staff is really great. I see Lindsay Pratscher and she has listened to my needs and couldn't be a better advocate for me. She really helps to make sure I have everything I need each and every time we meet.

We were referred to Dr. Morley in mid-2012 for my son, who lives with high-functioning Autism. My son was diagnosed when he was almost 4 and he was successfully mainstreamed in public schools through 4th grade. Unfortunately, late in 2nd grade, he started having behavioral issues. These issues became increasingly worse for several years.... and over those years, he was diagnosed with Anxiety by JFK Center. Long story short..... after seeing several child psychiatrists (one at Children's Hospital), we were at our wits ends, as no one was willing or able to work with us. Many Doctors feel they do not know enough about Autism, thus are not willing to treat and even when they do, they are so conservative no progress is made. When we called Dr. Morley, he and his staff welcomed our son. He was so open to working with us and knew we needed help badly. My son's aggression (hitting, kicking, biting, swearing) had gotten so bad, our entire family was falling apart. Working with Dr. Morley over the past year, we have tried numerous types of meds and after ups and downs, we have found the right fit!! No matter how bad my son's behavior has gotten over the past year, he and his front desk (especially Erin!) have welcomed us and made us comfortable. Erin is amazing when we check in.... getting my son's favorite candy, talking to him about his favorite video games and doing all she can to make his appt easier. They don't mind when he is inappropriate, takes his shoes off and it's clear they really like him. The medication he is on right now has changed his life (and ours)! We have also found a new private school in Denver (The Joshua School) and we now feel we have gotten our son back! Dr. Morley and his staff have contributed significantly to this! I have referred 5 other families to Dr. Morley and do not hesitate to say we plan to stay with him indefinitely. If you need a wonderful Doctor for you or your child.... go see Dr. Morley!

The office staff has always been polite, professional, and very helpful - Zoey in particular! Michelle Hills (my provider) is absolutely wonderful! I think of her as Miss Honey from the book Matilda, which is about the highest complement I can give (wish I could find the passage that I'm thinking of in particular)

Sage is very caring and down to earth when interacting with my child.

Lisa Johnson

I really like the interaction between my child and the Doctor! My child is very comfortable sharing and talking with the Doctor where at another facility a connection couldn't be made. Kudos COPSYCH!

Agreed! These people care more about billing (which I never received) than they do patients.

This office is willing to risk a patient's health and very unprofessional. Numerous psychiatrists have come and gone without notification to their patients. Refill requests are ignored, and when medication runs out and you finally get a hold of someone and advise you have been calling for 2 weeks to prevent a no medication crisis, staff become belligerent and unconcerned for medical needs, and still delay without authorizing refills. This office doesn't deserve anyone's money, and are a complete embarrassment to the medical community. This is why medical practices have a bad reputation.

I have received ketamine infusions in the past 2 years( not through Colorado Psychiatry Center). After seeing one of these practioners 2 times they have a front desk person call me and tell me they are dropping me 3 days before my next appointment because I am not in their scope of practice because I have received Ketamine injections" and the Psychiatrist who oversees the ketamine injections should be prescribing my meds. I told the front desk person thats not how it works. But since she is not the practioner she can't do anything about it. I was changing meds as well, now that is all screwed up! I can't believe they dropped me for this reason and to not receive a call from the practitioner herself is totally inappropriate. When I find a new Psychiatrust shall I lie in order for them not to drop me? The ketamine injections are just another form of treatment. I don't get it. But, I can't ask the person who could actuall explain this too me since they had a front desk person call me.

For the love of God if you have bipolar which I have for 18 yrs I've been dx do not go see Michelle hills she is so clueless when it comes to bipolar I have never in all my stinking yrs dealing with my bipolar come across such an incompentent provider I will probably be looking else where all together for my care. patients beware

Steph Munch

I’ve seen Lindsay for a year and she and the office staff have always been wonderful. It’s so nice to have such a comfortable place to go when dealing with mental illness. Lindsay helped me work through and fill some medication voids I had. I would highly recommend Colorado Psychiatry to anyone needing mental health support.

Chris McCormick

I missed my first appointment due to a snow day. I showed up the next day and even though they ask for a $150 deposit, they wouldn't reschedule and the head office manager told me it's common for them not to refund the deposit when that happens. Avoid at all costs

Weston Johnson

DO NOT bother. This is not a place for helping those with mental issues. Unless you have over the top insurance you will be turned away with a "good luck" a speedy hang up.

Apostol Iliev

After almost 3 years of visitations I can honestly say that they are one of the best clinics!!! The staff is ALWAYS pleasant , helpful and friendly and Lindsay is AMAZING! !! Very compassionate and very caring! She really listens and gets to the bottom of the issue and does her best to get results! I am very pleased with the progress and very thankful for Lindsay's hard work and amazing desire to help people!

Here I was thinking I was crazy, but seeing the other reviews I now know this is just how terrible this place is. I have ended up in multiple no-medication crises from this place, including one that led me to have to call the county mental health services when I was away for a few months in another state because the sudden withdrawals made me suicidal. The front office staff are completely, absolutely unsympathetic and treat those just trying to get their antidepressants as drug-dependent loons who are over-reacting. Since then I have had multiple similar occasions, but thankfully with less consequences because I decided to stay away from medication that causes so much dependence after that incident. I started to think maybe all psychiatry was this way -- uncompassionate, money-hungry, with a total lack of empathy -- but I have recently started seeing a new psychiatrist outside of this center who is compassionate, understanding and most importantly, easy to reach with a system for refilling medication, even controlled substances, that is accessible and transparent. Do yourself a favor: do not go here, do not take your child here. You can find somewhere better, and it could save your life.

They made me make an appointment 3 weeks out and then when I showed up I was $10 short of my $60 copay they refused to see me. They said unfortunately they're running a business not a charity. These people do not care about patients they care about their bank account.

Tommie Hill

Overall I would recommend as long as you are very proactive in your own care. This is not the best place for those with severe mental illness. You must get med refills at least a week before you need it or you will run out. The staff is very nice but this place is very much a buisness first and that is made clear with their policies

Allison Anderson

My only complaint is that they charge you $115 if you're 10 minutes late or cancel less than 24 hrs in advance, but unless I'm the first appointment of the day, I have always had to wait well past my appointment time to be seen (30+ minutes on a couple occasions). A bit of a double standard, you can waste my time but I incur a huge fee if I waste yours. On the other hand, the couple Dr's I've seen have been good, know different medication options and potential side effects so they are making educated recommendations.

Jake Peterson

Had a great psych at first then I was told by front desk she went on vacation so I would see the actual psych and not more PA's seemed great but was 3 minutes late and they were gone- luckily got to see a new psych and finally starting to resolve issues

Lisa Thompson

They have been great to my daughter for two years and taking care of all her needs! Thank you for saving her life!

Michael Kelly

I can't comment on the psychiatric services, but I will tell you that the front office management at this office is totally unprofessional. We provided a court order that clearly indicated that we had medical decision-making authority to request treatment for our grand-daughter and the office manager rejected it. When we offered to have our attorney call her and explain the legalese in the document, she again rejected our request stating that they were a private practice and could make their own independent decisions on these matters regardless of what the court had decided. This high-and-mighty, arrogant attitude is extremely unprofessional and only harms the children that so desperately need mental health treatment...shame on this office!

I wrote a huge response and then it was deleted twice. I give up. Haha In short this office is wicked awesome and you can trust them with your care. ( looks like I wrote a super long response anyway ha. 3rd times a charm.) I am not an easy case and they have helped me immensely. I am thankful for this office, their staff and their sincere efforts to help those in need. For those saying they didn't get you your prescriptions, that's on you. They ask every time while doing vitals if you need a refill, they are not our babysitters. I have forgotten and had to call it in, couldn't have been easier. I originally had Jody Ruts, she's pretty cool. Like I said before, I'm not an easy case. Once she realized that she probably wasn't able to help me much anymore, she refered me to Dr. Morley. First, that is awesome that she saw that we were at a standstill and took the steps to get me into Dr. Morley and second, the dude is seriously a genius. He is extremely knowledgeable and doesn't give bs answeres. He takes the time to answer difficult questions and the science behind it. One thing is, I have not always liked their receptionists but the current one is the coolest. I'll have to get her name and edit my post. I most certainly recommend this office.
