This review is specifically for Michele Hills at the Lakewood office. Having been through my share of care providers, I have learned they all have varying levels of interest, listening skills, understanding, compassion and competency. Michelle seems to have all of these abilities, while demonstrating a human empathy for issues her patients may be going through. As patients, we aren't always the best at understanding what might be going on in our life and headspace in order to make sound judgements regarding mental health. Michelle really makes an effort to help her patients with this, and has on numerous occasions made some pretty eye-opening observations. She has an "I've seen it all" (without appearing jaded or uninterested about it) attitude which allows one to feel more comfortable sharing what's really going on and needing attention. I hope CO Psych realizes the gem they have in her, and I for one appreciate the stability of knowing she's there for me.

Michele is amazing! She is very accommodating of all of your needs and truly listens. She understands the situation you are in. Because of her and Colorado Psychiatry Center I have healed and gotten so much better. I would have never thought I would feel as good as I do now when I first walked in.

I have been working with Michelle Hills for quite some time. She is excellent at her job. Took me only two visits to absolutely feel like home!!! She is very easy going and exceptionally easy to talk to! It’s actually the ONLY doctor visit that I look forward to!! I have exactly ZERO things to complain about!!!

They will only help you if you have insurance. They are not interested in offering services to self pay patients. So if you need help don’t call them.

Horrible place. When you're already feeling awful, being treated like an ivalid and having everything you say essentially ignored does NOT help. If you just need someone to write your scripts, they'll do fine. If you want actual help and compassion, go elsewhere.

Horrible practice. Absolutely do not recommend. Reckless practices, total disregard for patient safety and well being. The goal is to make as much money as fast as possible, with as little face-time with patients as possible. If you just want to get in and out with your drugs, this is a good option, but don't be late or they'll charge you for the privileged! Michelle Hills, reconsider how you treat patients.

Michele Hills is my provider and I absolutely adore her. From our first visit, we had an excellent rapport and have maintained that relationship. Finding a care giver for mental health can be very challenging, because you have to have the right fit. In Michele, I found someone that I can trust and talk to; even about the toughest issues. I would recommend her without pause.
