REVIEWS OF Colorado PsychCare IN Colorado

Jonathan Haslage

From my experience they have always been friendly, fair and extremely supportive. If you're looking for a fairly priced alternative to these crazy expensive docs around here that offer the same level of service then you need to go see them. Alison Rathbun is hands down the best psych I've ever had.

Staff is very friendly, and will help you with getting scheduled. Providers listen, and actually want to help you. Glad I started coming here.

Dr. Entin is a terrible psychiatrist

A caring, professional office in which I would be happy to recommend.

These people are crooks. They will take your money and then refuse to correct their own mistakes without demanding more money. Deb Arrera in particular is unethical and unprofessional. I have reported them to the CO medical board. Do not trust these people with your health or your money!

The other reviews are absolutely correct. It is only about the money for them. I never write negative reviews but people should know this. You should avoid these people. No one should be in healthcare without a level of concern for their patients. The provider I saw was fine but the office and their policies are absurd. I had been going there regularly every few months for years and pay for every appointment when I'm there with a credit card, no problem. I have paid when I am there every time and exactly what they asked for, no questions. Just learned that now they say I had an outstanding balance and they say they sent a bill to the wrong address so it was returned undelivered. Rather than simply waiting until I came in the next time and asking me to pay it, they turned it over to collections. Collections --- a patient that has come in regularly and still actively being seen. No one has ever treated me that way. To make it worse, they say this was only for an office visit so had to be a small charge. When I called them they were rude and would only tell me that it was their "policy" and that I "agreed to it". They could not see the absurdity of turning a regular patient over to collections for a small balance when all they had to do was ask for the money the next time I was there. Further, they were rude and treated me as if I was some deadbeat for not paying a bill I didn't know existed. They said they had no way to know I was coming back but all they had to do was ask my provider (also in their office) or look at the chart and see that she has me set up to come not less than every six months .. and they admitted it has only been 4 months since my last appointment. Totally ridiculous. There are plenty of other healthcare providers that are excellent and actually do care about their patients. You should find one of those and avoid these guys.

Dr. Langer is well-trained, compassionate, friendly, and thorough. I've received very good feedback from the people I've referred to her.

I have been a patient of Colorado Psych Care for almost three years, and they have whole heartedly changed my life. Merle takes the time to not only deliver amazing therapy, but make her patients feel supported, loved, and truly cared for. Colorado Psych Care has helped me through some very difficult transitions in my life, and I couldn't be more thankful. I recommend Merle to anyone in need of some counseling, psychotherapy, or maybe just some time to be heard. It's completely worth every penny spent. Thank you guys so much!

I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews, but I have been visiting Alison for about 3 years and I could not be happier with the service. Very friendly and understanding staff. A+

worse and scandalous people work here. I would not recommending this place. they will drop you meds cold turkey. very dangerous

They don't care about their patients, only the money. Don't go here. Do not trust these people with your care.

Wonderfully caring. Yes you do get charged in full for no-shows but that’s the case at every Dr’s office. Receptionists learn your name and greet you like friends. Dr’s are caring and genuine. I’ve been going there for over 2 years and am very happy with the care I’ve received from Merle, Alison, Jodie and Ariana. My counselor gave me her personal cell in case of emergencies and she has answered every call or text I’ve sent.

Saskia Hansen

Very rude over the phone completely inconsiderate and acted like she was to busy to even try and listen

The practice does not support our military! The practice used to be with Tricare and while someone I know was trying to get care and was trying to get approval for out of network. They very clearly stated we ONLY see existing Tricare Patients and if Tricare won't create a care plan exception they would charge full rates. This person cancelled their appointment 30 minutes after the 24 hour cancellation policy hoping that the details would be worked out with Tricare. They still billed the service member full price for a no show. The practice knew that they were working on the care plan exception with insurance and they showed no compassion. I personally would never see someone in this field with this lack of compassion. The military is working so hard to make service members mental health a priority and it is doctors like this that are creating a lack of care for our military and their family.

Missy is wonderful. I have been going for over a year now and have had a great journey thus far. The front desk staff could be a little more friendly and attentive (and perhaps finish their personal conversations when there isn't a patient standing there), but other than that, I am pleased with my experience and treatment. Again, Missy is awesome.

I called Colorado PsychCare somewhere around 6-7 months ago, and from the front office staff, to my psychiatrist, to my therapist, they have completely changed my world. Before this, I truly was a shadow of myself. I couldn't get out of bed some days, was beyond sad and unaware of where it was all coming from. This was compounded by debilitating social anxiety even around family and close friends. From day one, this team was 100% supportive of my best interests and helped me find my way out. I'm still continuing a long journey, but for the first time maybe since I was a kid (25+ years ago), I feel comfortable in my skin and happy with myself and where I am in life. Thank you to everyone in the office—for someone who has historically felt "under a microscope" and judged by everyone and anyone (whether or not that was actually the case), I have always felt welcome and like you were on my team.

Called as a new client looking for counseling, receptionist was INCREDIBLY rude. Even though they are not taking on new clients, I would not go here now! Terrible first impression of your business.
