Not to be trusted with your brain. I saw her 2x. On our first visit, she must not have believed the insanely traumatic events that I've undergone (my boss thought I was being stalked as did I so I was very scared in my life at that point-car break ins, hacking, etc) over the past year because she IMMEDIATELY prescribed me an anti-psychotic but sold it verbally to me as an anti-anxiety medication (resperidone) that was a "jack of all trades" (which it isn't-but if she actually believes that this is a huge red flag) and was "just to settle me". I have on tape her saying nothing serious was going on and she doubted I was bipolar-even if I was I should've gotten a mood stabilizer FIRST according to what I've read online about resperidone. SHE TOLD ME NOT TO LOOK UP THE DRUG (if this isn't a red flag for you idk what is). At our 2nd meeting I was still scared for legitimate reasons and she told me to go to an ER for a "brain scan" because it could be a "tumor" (this was of course traumatic to imagine, btw) and to "pack a bag". She was just lying to get me committed. During my 3 day involuntary stay I NEVER GOT THE BRAIN SCAN and I was paired with Dr. Jay Kutnick. HE TRAINED BRENDA CZABAN (his words-GO LOOK UP THIS MAN RIGHT NOW to see how -possibly evil- HE is...she said she knew "people" at the hospital who were "really good". LOOK UP HIS REVIEWS TO SEE HOW BAD OF A DOCTOR HE IS PLEASE. I didn't write the review about him prescribing meds RIGHT after you've explained to him they're bad for you BUT my friend in the hospital said she "was all messed up" because when she told Kutnick a certain drug made her suicidal he went ahead and prescribed that exact medicine to her so I can confirm that that review sounds about right. Even a nurse at the facility said my experience with Czaban and how I got into the hospital must have been scary (no sh** Sherlock) and that she wasn't surprised at Kutnick's lack of any treatment and lack of bedside manner (she basically said he's a terrible doctor but that my later second opinion doctor-Dr. Mays-is great at what he does). Kutnick prescribed me medicine BUT DID NOT TREAT ME. He had a med student listen to my story for hours and I knew Kutnick a total of 20 minutes or so after my mtgs with Kevin. Kevin told me he didn't think I was bipolar and right afterwards in a 15 min meeting Kutnick I guess he just ignored everything Kevin said and prescribed me Lithium for my "bipolar disorder". He didn't tell me what it would do to my brain and gave me no info about it; fun fact: just a little bit too much Lithium can cause BRAIN DAMAGE OR DEATH which I learned later. I was refusing my blood draws every morning (I gave them some the first day and my hand was bruised for weeks at this excruciating draw) so he needed to tell me (but didn't tell me) that those blood draws could be important to, I don't know, maybe regulate me not getting brain damage or dying from the drug he prescribed me?! In my "notes" according to Kevin it said I'd been with Czaban "for a year". I don't know where they got that HUGE misinformation but it may have been from Czaban. Only when I requested a different doctor (Dr. Charles Mays) was I prescribed an anti-anxiety med (propranolol) that he thought would work well because it "wouldn't slow my cognitive function" like the drugs Czaban and Kutnick wanted me on and that he would get me out of hospital "as soon as possible" because he didn't understand what they could do to actually help me there. Yeah, um, ditto. Kutnick, by the way, didn't even get my name right. This woman had a huge part in scarring me emotionally for life after that hospitalization. I went home entirely depressed and much worse than I was when I first entered her office. Czaban can do damage to your brain with intense drugs prescribed way too quickly to people she doesn't know and you might not know anything about your medicine because she tells you not to learn anything about it. Your brain is too important to be put into the hands of a liar who has been trained by a complete idiot and a terrible human.
