My experience with Folsom psychiatry has been very positive. First off that accept Medicare with no problems, and my first appointment when I couldn't locate my card they patiently waited until I sent it in. They were also able to do the genesight test and book me right away. And they were also able to start TMS with me right away and bill Medicare with no issues as well. Tabitha, who does the TMS is wonderful.

I have been seeing Dr. Soliman and staff since 2013 and from the very first appointment they treated me with compassion and knowledge and though I had lifelong severe mental issues that no one else had been able to diagnose or help me with,Dr Soliman was not intimidated. Through kind and careful interviews, he was able to diagnose my real condition. He then worked tirelessly and creatively to combine medications and new technology to bring about my stabilization and now I am thriving. There are no words to describe what Dr. Soliman has done for me. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field, yet he is humble and caring and very approachable. The staff are all kind and helpful and I’ve never had a problem that they weren’t willing to work to resolve. I would give Folsom Psychiatry Associates an off the chart positive rating.

This place only cares about money, I tried to give them a chance over and over again but every time they would over charge me and couldn't even explain why! They cancel appointments and almost every time I went to a scheduled appointment they came up with a new reason I couldn't be seen that day. I regret not checking the reviews before I went here!

It’s hard to find a good psyche doc and Counsler. I am traveling 50+ miles for Folsom Psychiatry. I’m 2 appointments in. Intake and med management. Every person I’ve encountered from front door to back is praise worthy. I have hope again! I would drove 100 miles for this service.

I would like to mention one employee in Particular because she stands out above the others. Her name is Brenda, she is kind, sweet, and an all around professional. She always makes me feel like I’m the only patient and never seems rushed although I know shes busy. I have never seen her having a bad day. Shes the only one (out of all the medical assistants) who’s taken the time to get to know my name. So many come and go around there and I hope she stays a long time.

I've gone here off and on for about a year and a half. The staff is friendly and very responsive. I needed a pre authorization for a prescription and my insurance company is not the easy to deal with. Balvir and Nicole were persistent and got everything taken care of very quickly. They also didn't mind that I called in every day to check on the progress. They were friendly and patient.

Just now, I had the pleasure of speaking with a staff member named BALVIR KAUR. I was calling to reschedule an appointment and there was some urgency in my getting it scheduled as soon as possible. Balvir was very helpful as she assisted me in geting an appointment that would better suit my needs. She gave me numerous options I could consider so I could get my business completed as quickly as possible. Balvir represented her emploier very well and she is one of those associates that others should try to emulate.

FEES, FEES, co-payments, and more FEES! They seem to have decent physician's. However, the front office staff, as well as management, are incompetent, at best. The clinic is run like a bank, rather than a professional medical clinic. There are so many FEES and unforeseen expenses at this office. $100 FEE for a note to take a day off work. $100 FEE for a note to return to work. $100 FEE for EDD paperwork (every 6 weeks). $100 FEE for a missed appointment. Perhaps there is a $100 FEE for forgetting to wipe your feet as you walk into their office! They'll create any excuse for charging FEE, after FEE, after FEE. My wife canceled an appointment with her therapist, well in advance, and yet they billed her $100 for a missed appointment FEE. After a barrage of bureaucratic nonsense, they told her they would waive the FEE, particularly because she had evidence that she indeed canceled the appointment. A few weeks later, she walks into the office to pay her Co-Payments and AGAIN they claim she owes a $100 FEE for the same "missed appointment" that they agreed to waive. It's a financial trap, folks. Mental Health Consumers have difficult life circumstances as it is. Unfortunately, Consumers are more likely to be taken advantage of, than the average citizen. Folsom Psychiatry Associates knows this AND THEY'RE BANKING ON IT.... LITERALLY!!! I honestly contemplate whether we're paying FEES for services rendered, or if we're paying FEES for a Circus Act!!!

My son has been seen here by Dr. Soliman for the last three years. Despite a move to Woodland last summer, we still take him to Folsom Psychiatry for a few reasons. Firstly, they accept Tricare, which is a tough thing to find around Sacramento. Second, appointment wait times are unusually short. We can often be seen in less than a week when a new issue pops up. Lastly, just this weekend my son lost a prescription. The team was very responsive, and we managed to get the refill request processed same day. 10/10.

Absolutely the best care I have received from any psychiatrist over the course of more than three + decades. Dr. Soliman doesn’t just prescribe pills, put bandages on things, treating people like cash cows then sending them on their way. He definitely encourages patients to become proactive in about their own care and listens to what they’re saying without making you feel like you need to rush because he has to answer and send you along. His staff has always been top notch. Any issues that have occurred have always been dealt with accordingly, corrected and never a reoccurrence. Very friendly, helpful, professional, knowledgeable and courteous ALWAYS. They offer a wide selection of counselors as well. Except many different private insurance carriers. Quite literally turning my entire world around and in a new direction. For the better in every way possible. I’m forever grateful and helping others because of it. Life is a wonderful thing!!! I know I couldn’t have done it without the support of Dr. Soliman, his staff and family.

My fiancé recommended me going here after I expressed interest because he had had good luck with this facility. So, I took the card he gave me and gave them a call. A woman answered and when I told her I would like to make an appointment to see a therapist, she told me only one person could do that for me, and Tabitha was unavailable, but she would leave a note. I was a little annoyed (how do you only have ONE person that can make new patient appointments??? How hard could it be?), but I gave them my cell number and hoped they would get back to me quickly. A week passed by and no call. I call them again and come to find out there was no record of me call! So, I give her my information one more time since Tabitha is STILL unavailable to make my appointment, with a promise from this receptionist (pretty sure it was the same girl as last time) that my note would be marked URGENT. It’s been another week and still no call. Apparently being a female in need is of no interest to this facility, and they should be ashamed of themselves. It makes me worry just how many have reached out for help, only to be discarded because they can’t be bothered to make a simple appointment. At least say you’re not accepting new patients if you can’t be bothered to take the time to get them into the facility to see someone. Good luck to anyone looking for help. I suggest you look elsewhere since they seem less than inclined to help.

Staff is super nice. Office is clean and bright, with a sitting area and water fountain outside... I like to go and eat my lunch there before an an appointment. Everyone is very professional, but caring, and they really work with the insurance so to help get you on the right meds. One of the absolute best doctor’s offices I have ever worked with. Also, they take low income patients, and those patients get treated just like any other patient. Highly recommend this office.

I have had a traumatic brain injury for 7 years and I go here for therapy. I have been diagnosed with PTSD. I have had nothing but great, professional service from everybody here on the staff. I love Crystal Ward who is my counselor, my sounding board and my Obi Wan Kenobi!. She is priceless!!!! We all have jobs that we do everyday. But Crystal's job involves the heart and mind. She changes lives and the way you think and feel. How fulfilling when it works! Crystal has listened for countless hours, helped me with the rage and frustration that comes with a traumatic brain injury, given me "homework assignments" to do, cried with me and hugged me during the good times. I came from a dysfunctional family and have fought depression for decades. I yearned to be happy if I only knew how to fix myself. Well Crystal has shown me the way! She is so knowledgeable in her profession, she's like a personal trainer for your mind. She can teach you how to do a perfect sit-up but only you can do it to benefit yourself. If only you would listen and apply her words. I'm a big student of body language. I love to watch Crystal. it is wonderful when you ask her a question and show her that you are ready to open up a new door and travel down a better path. Her eyes light up, she leans forward in her chair, she squares her shoulders and her voice gets excited. This shows her passion and love of people. These are physical signs you just can't fake and her true colors and passion show through. Crystal Ward has truly helped me become a better person and a much happier, positive person. She truly helps change lives!

Our family member is seen at this office through worker's comp. Most of the clinics that accept WC insurance are horrible to work with. Not this office. The provider, Cortney is wonderful and recently there was a problem with getting a medication authorized. Cari in the billing/RFA office has really gone out of her way to get the paperwork completed and contacted the insurance company to get the authorization pushed through. She has called several times with updates so that we too are able to follow up on our end. Never has an office shown so much effort and concern. Cari, you are truly one in a million!

Kudos to Balvir Kaur! She provided EXCELLENT service in working with Walgreens Pharmacy to help me get a prescription filled for which they required additional information. Took a great load off of my mind when she took over after I had made calls myself to both Walgreens and Folsom Psychiatry. She provided Walgreens the information that was needed, and then called me back to let me know that Walgreens was proceeding with filling my prescription. She was a huge help to me!

My pharmacy needed preauthorization for a new medication I was prescribe by Courtney at Folsom Psychiatry. I called Folsom Psychiatry and spoke with Balvir regarding the necessary process. She explained and said it may take a day or two to complete. Ten minutes following my call, Balvir called back and said she expedited the process and the medication would be ready in an hour or two for pick up. She went above and beyond without me asking. I wish it had an option for negative stars. I was a patient for almost a year and I DO NOT Recommend this place to anyone! All that is cared about in this office is money. I have experienced rude employees and management. When I would email the doctors with an emergency situation they refused to contact me back. It wasn't until I threatened to file a suit for negligence and mistreatment. They will prescribe you anything and everything they can think of without knowin your full medical background. I suffer from multiple health problems and they add to depression, anxiety and insomnia. They neglect to send necessary request for authorization forms to my workers comp adjustor which leads to me not being able to get refills for my prescriptions. Every medicine they have given me has warnings to not stop taking abruptly but every month when I need refills I have to experience severe withdrawal symptoms for multiple weeks sometimes. I have ended up going to the emergency room several times due to this kind of issue in my care. They do not care about patients or their well being. Do not waste your time or money for below average care!!!!!

Genuinely blessed to have found Folsom Psychiatry associates. I moved here from Texas recently and was worried about continuing Psychiatric care when I arrived. Folsom psychiatry has made the entire process worry free for me all the way from the front desk to the doctor. I had a panic attack after getting my blood drawn and the nurse was amazing and immediately responded to it happening she asked if I needed anything and all I could mutter was "something cold" she RAN and grabbed me an ice pack and cold water. I was apologetic because it was embarrassing and she was amazing but she wouldn't take my apology because these people actually care about their patients and know and see what you're going through. Doctor Hasnain is amazing, kind, genuine and thorough. I highly reccomend Folsom Psychiatry Associates if you're looking for a Psychiatrists office that actually sees you as a human being and not dollar signs.

The therapist assigned to my daughter was completely incompetent, always looked and acted stressed out, overworked and she was continually unfamiliar with the reason my daughter was seeking assistance as if she never bothered to read the chart or file prior to visits. To make things worse, I was sent to collections for a bill that I actually paid that they failed to assign to the correct account. They never sent me a follow up notice or subsequent request for payment, they never bothered to call me about an "unpaid bill" or gave me any notice that they were missing a payment. Instead they just sent the matter to collections with no follow up with me and when the bill collector contacted me, they made me do the legwork to prove I had paid the bill. Once I provided the paperwork, they were unapologetic and made excuses for their utter lack or professionalism. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS FACILITY! Between the awful therapist and the horrible billing and admin staff, everything about this place made for a horrible experience and a complete waste of time.

can barely even give one star. pretty much impossible to reach by phone or online unless you call at least 10 times and are lucky enough to not get sent to “voicemail” in which you are just hung up on. I haven’t been able to refill my needed medication since apparently no one has been able to authorize me even after waiting for two days. would definitely recommend finding another place if you are looking for a professional psychiatrist office that actually cares about it’s patients.

I usually do not write reviews but in this case I definitely will! I have been a patient here for a couple years now. I haven't always been a fan because of a certain doctor there but luckily I do not have to see him anymore. I called one day because I needed to see someone ASAP about my medication. I called to see if it was possible to get in and see someone right away. Usually you have to wait days or weeks to get in at other places. If you are a patient here they will try to help you as best as they can. Any time I needed someone to call me back or call to remind me of appointments they have been so good. I spoke to a woman named Balvir and she was so awesome to ask one of the psychiatrists that I had seen before named Abeer if she could fit me in. She did thankfully! Thanks to that appointment my meds have been changed and now I am getting sleep now. Abeer has seen me a few times now and she really does listen to everything I have had to say. She seems to really care and I like that. I have been having a problem with my medications and thanks to her I feel SO MUCH better. She changed them as I have asked her to. For that appointment I thank these ladies and I will stay on here at Folsom Psychiatry. Thank you!

I have found the staff at Folsom Psychiatry Associates to be very friendly, professional and courteous. I appreciate the reminders for my appointments and the ease of accessing my provider(s) via email as needed. I have also been impressed with the timely response I have received when I have needed medication adjustments and appointment scheduling accommodations. My counselor, Catherine Tucker, has been very helpful to me in terms of providing therapeutic and insightful counsel, and is very personable. I especially appreciate the fact that I have been treated with dignity and respect at every visit I have had with Catherine Tucker and Courtney Thompson. The only suggestion I have for improvement is that the no-fragrance policy that is offered there be followed in the waiting room by staff at all times, and to not use fragrant air freshening products. Do not ever come here unless you have money to burn and no real mental health issues. They spent more time going over the missed payment fees then starting a dialogue. They have forms for you to store your credit card on file but not anything to see if you are currently in crisis. Their intake is as adequate as WebMD and the staff is not trained in knowing about the questions they ask. Be prepared to do your own research on any questions they ask or any questions you have. Also be prepared to be lied to. They don't care about people just their walets. If you have a mental health issue go somewhere else. If you come here you will be put down, fell alone, know how many people are waiting and how you are waisting their time.
