I was there for a month and the staff are nice but the try to understand the kid and the food is ok i guess but people talking trash about that place it help me and it will help ur kid. Pinnacle point thank u for helping me with my problem

I had an allergic reaction while in the in patient ward. Large, red welts covered my body. Not a single person would help me. Was not even able to make a phone call. I found out later that they had only pretended to call my parents. I am thirty now and realize what a tramatizing place this is. I still have panic attacks at night trying to get to sleep. This is no place for children.

My son had a bad mental reaction to coming off of prozac and his therapist recommended that we take him to PP to be assessed by a psychologist. We brought my son in to be assessed by a psychologist to see if he needed to be admitted. He was assessed by a nurse, not a trained children's psychologist. They wanted him to stay there for 7-10 days. We did not think that him being there for that long was necessary. He was there for 4 days (3 whole days) and only met with his assigned therapist for about 15 minutes right before our family session. The other 2 whole days that he was there, he met with no one but a medical doctor and participated in group therapy. He saw multiple physical fights in the 3 days that he was there as well. Enough to scare the heck out of him and make him feel incredibly unsafe. He was unable to sleep because the boys that were rooming with him kept him up all night by jumping on his bed and yelling. He claimed that the staff was of no help because the boys kept acting up once they left. The assessment that the therapist made of my son after meeting with him for 15 minutes was inaccurate and incredibly harsh based off of his initial diagnosis by his regular therapist that he had been seeing for months. The staff did not contact our sons PCP or his therapist to discuss his background . We do not believe that our son being admitted to PP was helpful at all. We will never let him be admitted there ever again if it ever comes to that. I do NOT recommend that you take your children there unless they have deep mental issues that need severe help controlling. Our son does not. He has mild anxiety.
