Appointments are cancelled without notification. They say they called, but no call received. Then the pt gets a strike against them and are called a liar. When you drive a hour one way to receive help and are treated like this, I feel your company needs training in customer service. Your receptionist are very rude.

Really liked this place at first but I don’t recommend any single moms to go to this place cause of the fact I have a 6month old and I had to miss 2 days cause of my son being sick and then a day cause I was at the hospital I let them know all those 3 time and they told me well you didn’t call 48hours so i was told I can no longer go there so I do not recommend it to no one

I do not go here, but my wife does. I do however know that this place is helping her, and genoa pharmacy is one of the best pharmacies I've ever been to. I also know from past employees that most providers in this office will care for you. These people do seem to care about their patients and it looks like they treat a range of disorders and ages. But as always reception could be a little better, nothing makes you feel more welcome like a smile and a warm welcome! Leave a like guys and girls if you found this helpful! Not happy with today. Waited over. Two hours as a walk In. Was told to be here at 745 when I was checked in was told I would be seen shortly after an hour and half ask if they had a time frame as to when I would be seen and was informed they had no idea i could be sitting here all day and could still not get seen today it just depends on if so.eo e does not show up. So my question is why tell me to be here at 745 and that I will be seen shortly, when you could have explained from the start that it would or could be an extended wait. You could have told me that last week when you told me to be here at 745 today.

This place really fell off after it became OBHW. The piss poor service I received was so unbelieveably unprofessional and incompetent that I've made up in my mind for the last time that I'll go elsewhere out of town for behavioral health services from now on, how sad, what a joke

Waited 45 mins for a walk in to see a therapist. Finally get called back and it's someone with a desk job who can't help at all. Worse, she seemed like she didn't care about my medical issue. As stated by others, no benzodiazepines are given, regardless of need and actually having a valid prescription. I feel like I was treated like an addict. I felt no compassion or sympathy from Sharon Sims. I felt as if she truly couldn't have cared less. Thanks so much for caring for people's health and wellness at Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness.

This is my only choice for mental health care in Hot Springs because it's literally my only choice. They can't keep adequately licensed therapists and your options are extremely limited if you're on Medicare. They are perfectly willing to prescribe psychotropic medications, including antidepressants, "mood stabilizers", antipsychotic meds, etc. but nothing that actually helps more than it hurts. Patients are all treated like convicted addicts, so no benzodiazepines are prescribed regardless of medical need. Poor communication between doctor and therapist. Generally feel that Medicare is billed regularly while my needs go largely unaddressed and/or ignored. It's all about the money.

Not handicap friendly, can't handle phones and don't have voicemail for your therapist. Called for hours and couldnt get past answering service saying they are overloaded and can't handle the calls. Not good for people trying to find mental help. I've been there and intake doesn't get finished they stick to time in instead (most places know intake takes longer so slots should be longer if needed, & I was there for 4 hours) and send patients to people they would naturally feel uncomfortable with. Haven't been back.

Always gets you in late. You pay for an hour service and only get 40 mins. They take along time to get you in for needed medication.

Horribly rude women at the front desk. I've heard good things about the therapists and psychiatrists on staff, but the receptionists apparently don't know how to treat someone with basic respect, especially someone coping with a mental illness. Terrible experience.

It all depends on the person you're dealing with. Some are great! Others... Not so much.. During intake, an individual is rated from 1-20 on how in need of help they're viewed as. My wife is obviously in need of help. You can take one look at her and physically see how much she needs the help that she wants. The person that did her intake rated her as a five. A FIVE! She just recently attempted to go again and during her intake this time, she was rated as an 18 out of 20. We were told that rating higher requires paperwork to be done and the individual that processed her the first time just didn't want to go through that effort. OBH can do some wonderful things but it all depends on if the person you're seeing feels like actually doing their job.

Called to schedule an appointment. Very dissapointedFirst you have to see a therapist? Then they relay your session to a dr, who then will get to you when there schedule allows. The receptionist couldn't even give me a time frame of when I may see a dr. THIS is what is wrong with this world. No one can get mental healthcare in a reasonable time frame. And alot of the time mental health cant wait! This place is a complete joke!
