This is fabulous place to jump start the healing process for those in emotional distress. Inpatient is an acute care facility. It is absolutely a wonderful place to be "safe" while they adjust meds, and start you on the road to healing! Superb staff!!!

My daughter got in trouble if she cried, she had the phone yanked out of her hands after they told her she could call me. Only one nurse was helpful the weekend night staff was a nightmare. This place only made her more depressed and made fun of her for attempting suicide.

This is the worst place I've ever been in my entire life. I've been to jail once, and this is by far away worse than that ever could have been. Mind you I was in jail for something minor and stupid but still, what saw here has forever changed the way I view Mental Health. As a matter of fact what I experienced in this facility was so disheartening. I had no Suicidal Tendencies, I never threaten suicide, I simply needed to speak to a counselor in order to get my OCD in my anxiety medication worked out. I ended up getting sent here, where they were treating me like I was a suicide patient. They put me in a room where I was video monitored. They make you get completely undressed in front of somebody and shower like you're an animal. They have rules to follow and if you don't follow them you get punished. They treat everyone there like their mentally stupid. I'm not saying all of them actually experienced one or two nurses that were very kind. But on a hold this place is a nightmare and if you love your family and you're seriously trying to seek real help for them this is not the place to do it. I also wanted to add, but they tell the patients there trigger words and things are not allowed to discuss and talk about so they don't hurt other patients. As I was walking from my room to the quote on quote dayroom to try and find a crayon(I wasn't allowed a pen or pencil since I was so obviously suicidal) so that I could write my experience down on this piece of paper I was so kindly given, and as I was walking past the nurses desk which is completely open glass where you can hear everything they're saying two of the nurses were discussing the proper manner in which way to slit your wrists so that you kill yourself. Verbatim one of the female nurses said "well that's stupid I don't know why she would cut across her arm" And the male nurse said "I know, you think they figure out that you have to cut from top to bottom." He said that while giving a visual example. Mind you I happen to have met the girl that they were discussing, she was a very sweet girl could didn't have Suicidal Tendencies either. She did have some self-harm issues but has she heard what I heard there's a very good chance she may have went home and done something like that and it would have been those nurses fault. They talk to her and lie about all of their patients and they treat them like s***. I have to say that my experience there thankfully was a short one, I went on a voluntary basis for something I assumed I was going to be seeing and sent home the same day for. But while I was there my experience was so heartbreaking that I will tell you it's lit a fire in my spirit. For me I will not let this end here. I believe proper Mental Health Care should be available to everyone regardless of your situation. You can no more control a cancer cell than you can control a mental illness. I guarantee you won't see a cancer patient being treated with such disrespect. And the facility looks nothing like this freaking picture. It's actually in shambles. And looks like a mental institution from a 1960s documentary

Took my wife here and she got the help she desperately needed. They were friendly helpful only bad thing is when you visit you can't hug or have personal contact. My wife was able to call me daily and I was able to visit daily. She was feeling and doing better when she came out. She went in there fussing throwing crazy fits, but they were never mean to her.

Don't go here...for even a shot. I did and they charged me 500 dollars. They tried to charge me for a room. Hillary deplorables.

This place is very helpful!!!! I dont know about all those negative reviews, but if you are a patient located on 4th floor be ready to deal with their amazing staff. Now this is an old place, but however they keep it clean. Literally all of the staff were very nice to me!!! They will talk to you whenever you need them and observe you to make sure keep track of your goals. Grant it, I was not familiar with the area and was skeptical about coming here. But I do not regret at all. If you come here, be honest to the staff members helping you. And be sure to talk to the staff for help whenever you feel you need it. That is what they are there for. Levi, keep up the great work.

This hospital saved my life. I was going thru some bad things due to people taunting and threatening me with me life. The staff from the doctor to the nurses and mental health techs all took me under their wing and got me to open up and talk and laugh again. I wish I could give this place a -5 but they want a 1-5 so I had to give them a 1... That being said I did meet Nurse Ratched from One Flew the Cuckoos Nest face to face there. That place made things much worse before I some how pulled myself together. Believe me I needed help when I went there. However that was not the place to get what I needed. They didn't have much for therapy and made you feel like you were in prison. As if you had committed a crime and that's why you were there. Nurse Ratched pulled my cup out of my hand as I was drinking the water to take my meds then slammed the window in my face. Then I ended being forced to tell her sorry for yelling at her for it!!!

This was literally the worst mental health facility I’ve ever been to. Yes some of the staff was nice, but overall I’ve never been so uncomfortable in my life. People there were saying they’ve been to jail and this place was worse to them.

If your reading this review your trying to find out about Levi all i'm going to say is please try and find a better place to be checked into besides here this should only be a last resort.

Strange Occurrences

Terrible. They make fun of patients. Allow blatant sexual harassment on patients by staff. Nursing staff believes everyone is lying and also says things like they should kill themselves. If you need help, this is not the place. All staff members believe everyone are drug seeking and say very horrible things about patients. They do not care, and laugh at people who have issues.

I tried 7 other psychiatrists none had experience in PTSD. Levi was my last hope. They are beyond friendly. They genuinely care about you and your well being.
