Please be warned, this is not a good doctor. He overly sedated my mother to the point of her being critically ill. Prior to seeing him she had no medical issues other than a bad UTI which rendered her confused. We had to have her discharged out of North Metro and into UAMS. It was a nightmare. It is apparent that this man is in the medical industry just for the money. He is the main psychiatrist for North Metro's Transition (Geri Psych) Hospital. If you care at all for your loved one, please make certain he is not the psychiatrist they see should they go into North Metro...which as a hospital...I don't recommend either.

Dr. Rains got me in right away and talked with me for a while. He has great staff that was very helpful and very friendly. I couldn't ask for anything better than him or his staff. During our conversation and talking to him he knew exactly what I was going through and knew a lot of my feelings without me even telling him. He explained why I was feeling that way and everything he said made complete sense. Him and his staff did an amazing job and I would recomend him to anybody that needs help. If your needing a great psychiatrist then I definitely recommend him. Thanks Dr. Rains for you and your wonderful staff for your kindness and understanding of my needs.
