You could not find a better or more caring doctor! Or staff! I've been going to him for years. He listens to what you say. He doesn't try to force the newest drugs on you. He uses what he thinks will actually help, and if it doesn't or if there are bad side effects, he is very quick to change it. I am allergic to almost EVERYTHING, but he really worked with me to find medications that helped.

Was the first psychiatrist to recognize that as a small-framed woman (I wear kids shoes) that my prior doctors may have been overmedicating me (making side effects of otherwise good meds for me intolerable) because of the severity of my Bipolar I. Old-school psychiatrist who knows and has seen a lot in his time, doesn't push the newest drugs from the drug reps unless older drugs don't work. He has me the most stable I've ever been, and I hope he stays in practice for many years to come! I still can't live alone or with people who will take advantage of me, need people to check every once in awhile to make sure I am not forgetting meds, and tell me to keep my sleep hygiene good if I start slacking there, but I credit him with saving my life, because no other doctor could get me the right balance of medications and the right doses for my size.
