I've been to the same ITS (on Coolidge) on and off over a lot of years (go figure huh!?) Heh heh. And I've always had good experiences here/ there. The doctor there, who has been there for quite some time is great! I have nothing bad to say about ITS. The ONLY bummer I'd say is them being closed on Sundays. So, if you accidentally miss Saturday (as I JUST DID) you then don't get dosed on Sun!

I dealt with ITS for 3 1/2 yrs. First at the west clinic, then at Coolidge. It was horrible all the way around! They lied about me & falsified documents several times. They gave me SEVERAL false positives on my ua's in order to keep me from gaining privileges. I was disrespected & treated inappropriately many times by counselors and nurses. Some times in front of clients. When I finally had enough & wanted to self discharge, head counselor tried telling me that I couldn't. I had to threaten legal action in order for them to discharge me. They have a turnover rate of employees that is absolutely insane. I now go to CMS on 23rd and Northern. Best move ever! I wish I had switched a long time ago. I truly feel ITS should be investigated and shut down!!!

So far I have had nothing but a good experience. Three week wait for intake. That is pretty good compared to others in this service. I have had to reschedule my intake appointment and timing with me was crucial. The person scheduling went above and beyond to make sure my appointment date fit my agenda. Wonderful...

Been waiting for paperwork they HAVE on file for over a week so I may begin treatment at a different facility. Getting nowhere on phone/in person. U would think they would be expedient in this process as each day I get no response is also another day of using dope. Seemingly clashes with their mission of getting people off dope and turning lives around. Kind of makes U wonder. RETENTION

I have never had as much difficulty with a methadone clinic as I have had with intensive treatment systems. This Clinic is very poorly managed, and everything takes an exorbitant amount of time to complete and most things are sprung on you as a surprise. Several occasions i have witnessed 4 or 5 people waiting to dose while both nurses behind the plexiglas paint their nails or scratch their backsides or whatever they do that prevents them from actually doing their jobs. This morning when I signed in there was a note that said I had to see my counselor before I could dose. I had to spend 10 minutes with my counselor before I could get my medication without any prior notification and I had a ride waiting for me outside. Overall this Clinic is okay I guess as long as you don't have any high expectations or expect anything to be above average.
