Please do not allow your insurance to pay this place. I went to bayless for a short term disability claim. I made sure to Express the sensitivity of the issue. My paperwork was never filed properly, I spoke to a supervisor after every visit which made no difference. When my claims specialist did reach out to Bayless for additional info to approve my claim they failed to respond. This caused my claim to be denied, so I didn't get paid for a month when I really needed it most. So now im trying to get my records to file an appeal and it's been over a month with no response from Bayless even though I've called several times and visited the office. Unless you want to make your current condition worse, DON'T GO TO BAYLESS HEALTHCARE!!!!!!

I have been going to Bayless for 3 months now. My normal provider is Marcus Fossmeyer, but I have been seen twice by Linda Gin. Marcus is friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and willing to figure out what works best for the patient. He treats me like a human being, not just a patient. When I first started at Bayless there was a mix up and I was scheduled with Linda accidentally. She has also seen me when Marcus had an unforeseen medical emergency and had to leave early. Linda is very sweet and seems equally as knowledgeable. The only issues I have with Bayless are with the instant urinalysis tests they use. More often than not they have come back with false positive. At first, this was VERY upsetting for me, because I take my sobriety seriously and despite the reassurance that the test would be sent off and tested (which it was and the medication that the instant UA indicated was in my urine, was not actually present in my urine), the fact that ANY test, was coming back positive for medications I wasnt on. Now, it still doesnt feel good, but I know my doctor trusts me and knows that there is an error with the tests. Since Bayless serves people struggling with addiction, I think finding a new brand of instant urine screens would be beneficial for both the providers and the patients.

I called in yesterday to have my sons medication refilled because his mother left state for a funeral and had the last four pills with her. My 9 year old is now going through withdrawls because the pharmacy does not have any record of the doctor calling. Even though yesterday it took about an hour of being on hold and speaking to the staff to have the doctor promise me that she would call it in. When the pharmacy called they were told that the doctors will not take care of refills and that they will have to wait until Monday.

The reason I believe Bayless is an excellent government medical facility is for only one reason, that reason lays in the Mesa location, more specifically, because they are fortunate enough to employ a psychiatrist by the name of Marcus Fossmeyer. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. I wouldn’t switch him even if I was offered the services of the highest paying psychiatrist for free. He has truly taken the time and effort to help me find out what it would take to help me live an actual fulfilling, happy, and successful life. You see, I never actually thought that was even possible. Reason being, by the time I first came to his office I had no hope at all. Today I don’t only have hope but I am actually able to live the way I have always dreamed.

I hate the automated system every time I call here. I can never get a real person on the phone and get real questions answered without wasting gas and going down to this place and then requesting information they have no idea about. Since it was missed placed I might have to reschedule a new appointment!

Waited 2 hours for an appointment I made a month in advance and my doctor was not even there. I have also called multiple times to get my prescription rewritten and filled. Two weeks later and still nothing.

I've had many issues since day 1. Being told I didn't have appointments when I did, male secretary was very rude and fighting me in it when I had a voicemail and paper work proving I had an appointment. Mind you, this was after I was released from a hospital in which they sent me here. I've had issues with my medication not being sent and have been in an on going battle to just get my meds filled .I never recieve a call back, when I've left many respectful messages, I don't have my own psychiatrists desk number nor am i ever connected with her. The few times in the 3 weeks I've been calling, I've gotten TWO returned calls, in which I was not helped and told they'd call back, in which they NEVER did. I am SMI and need my meds. I was also over charged. Which I was not told, I had to go in to dispute it. After my next appointment I will NOT be returning. Nothing but problems here, they aren't attentive nor helpful. TbwgreT solution is for me to check myself into a mental hospital. Again, the same place that sent me here. I do not recommend them.

Initial services were fine and friendly. I was a bit lost in the process trying to figure out how the "integrated" part worked, and contacting over phone is next to impossible. Had some problems later with treatments but was unable to reach anyone by phone even by leaving messages. As a result, discontinuing services so that I can find someone more likely to help and fit my needs medically.

Been going here a few months now. Waiting room feels a bit depressing but the complex is absolutely beautiful and the staff is super friendly. Check in nurse even remembered our conversation on my second visit, a month later. Definitely shows that they take their jobs seriously.

These people have genuinely helped me deal with my drug dependence issues.

Bayless takes care of you. From the moment of the phone call I was blown away by the kindness, professionalism that was showed the ,front desk. It’s always shaky meeting a new psychiatrist. Well that was put to ease real quick. Dr Dormon ( sorry if I misspelled it ) was truly listening. She has eye contact with you, which is rare in this field sometimes. I never felt like I was being rushed through like a packing plant. Every word was non judgmental or wrong. Really good Coordinated care. And the most amazing thing about the Dobson Ranch location is that if you also do therapy it’s right upstairs. And I can’t say enough about the therapist I have. So much progress in such a little time. I definitely recommend you checking this place out, you might just regret if you don’ coordinated care. Wow, went there just yesterday. and they're closed everyone went to the Sweet next door even the guy that was trying to drop off the stuff that they had scheduled for deliver it he even looked at me and said I'm not sure whether clothes I had to bother to the people at suite 101. This I would not ever recommend these people they don't know what they're doing how they're doing it they just go with the flow whenever things are convenient for themselves

I was called minutes ago to confirm an appointment. I got all the way through to having her first verify my insurance of Acchess that covers this type of service. She said they do take my Medicare however not my achess. I explained the appointment had been set by a case manager for me whom is employed by Banner as well. This case worker had known what insurance I'm on and that I have my own appointment for the same services that I set months ago on the same date. So basically, she intentionally set me an appointment for a Banner psychiatrist to see me and by the way she treated me I have no doubt it was intentional. I asked the girl setting the appointment for the office manager as I intended to report this. She acted like she did not hear me and said she would cancel the appointment. I said I needed the number again. She began saying "hello? Hello? Is anybody there. If anyone's on the other line, please call back". Ridiculous. I am not going to be taken aadvantage of just because I'm in physical pain. They only want you to bill your insurance and treat you like dirt if they can't. They train the employees not to act like you exist if you have a complaint. Horrible.

Absolutely awful experience! Intake went well , the nurse was very kind and professional. But as soon as I saw the doctor...she claimed she could not prescribe me anything! That I had to see the psychiatrist... okay Well after seeing the psychiatrist, she made me feel like I was a junkie just looking for pills! Are you kidding!? She refused to help me or give me anything to alleviate my extreme anxiety. After leaving, I felt absolutely terrible. They made me feel like I was a bad person for asking for help! Is that how their psychiatrist treats patients diagnosed with PTSD???

Cammi Swift

I totally love Lin she is a happy upbeat doctor that loves to see her patients improve :)

I’m leaving this from an anonymous account since I still know someone who goes here. Honestly bayless is GREAT- if you’ve been properly diagnosed in the past and mostly need an easy place to get meds you’ve been prescribed before and occasionally switch up meds. If you have just a mood disorder or anxiety or something, go for it. It’s an amazing place. If you have ptsd, learning disabilities, adhd, or anything more “complicated”/“severe” - do. not. come. here. i had the employees here tell me that what a mayo clinic psychiatrist told me was wrong, i was told they don’t have the credentials to diagnose/treat autism, adhd, etc. they don’t deal with smi/disability either. i also wouldn’t go to the therapists unless you need help managing “more common” things like bipolar, depression, anxiety etc. i now know multiple people including myself who have been told that we don’t have things we know we do (like if other professionals have said it’s very likely), and that we just have other conditions (usually anxiety). you can’t just tell everyone they have anxiety and they seem more fine than they think. same goes for the therapists. you can’t just slap the same treatment on every person and expect results. however someone close to me is still being treated here because they mostly needed help with things they had already received a lot of help for in the past, and they have the best therapist there in my opinion. (it’s the fourth therapist i’ve heard about/seen). not only that, to find this therapist they first had to be scolded over the phone for switching therapists and being a “difficult patient”. and i think the help they receive is great! just...this place isn’t for everyone. that person still being treated there is the only person i know who didn’t have to quit going. i also ended up in the actual hospital because i wasn’t able to find any answers about medication interactions when i was having one i found out was VERY common. it took one google search to find out that everyone knows these two medications shouldn’t be taken together and i was told there was no known interaction. i had to be tested for serotonin syndrome before i could leave the hospital and missed 5 days of work from the withdrawals i had to go through to stop the interactions. i ended up leaving bayless more traumatized than i went in. the two stars is for pretty okay treatment for someone i care about but the missing three stars is for myself and every other person i know who was failed by them.

Been in therapy since 2017, therapist just cancelled out on me and never returned. I never received any communication from Bayless, so I had to find a replacement therapist. Now that I'm seeing a new therapist, I had to sign forms that if I do a no show and they can't contact me, my file will be closed. Funny, how they can do no shows, they can cancel in ONE hour from my appt. and never communicate with me on what is going on (if I should quit this place, or find a replacement). NOTHING. but I had to sign forms recently that I must never do that or else my file will be closed. I'm giving this place a second chance to see if they really care for patients. Let's see what happens.

They "accepted" my insurance just long enough to put me through the intake process, then sent me a $914 bill saying basically "we don't accept medicaid from your county and we cannot continue being your provider". So, I'm given a huge bill AND told the intake process was a complete waste of time anyway. Couldn't they have figured that out BEFORE rendering service? Then they sent me 4 different price quotes before settling on a figure. Finally, I sent in my payment and a month later they still haven't cashed my check. This place is awful.

Extremely disappointed in the care I (almost) received here. The therapy and psychiatry rooms are so tiny and hospital-like that I did not feel comfortable whatsoever. After my THIRD (THIRD!) appointment with them, they advised me that my, despite me paying an already pretty pricey (at least, compared to what I am used to) copay, that I owe them over $200! And after telling me this, and me getting extremely distraught, the person at the front desk STILL tried to talk me into going to my next appointment! So embarrassing, and a huge waste of my time and money. Very bad experience.

ALWAYS A LONG WAIT... 30 TO 45 MINS! It says on website place opens at 9 and our appointment was at 0830. No one was called until 9 am when everyone was here at 0810 when we got here. Sketchy! My daughter has crisis situation and my call was not returned by the NP. I called the following week to follow up. NP stated to email her directly if we have problems or questions. I emailed her before and was never answered. We will be looking for a different doctor!!!

Marcus is awesome he has lots knowledge on every discussion and is very awesome. So is that staff. Dana is the greatest very prompt on getting back to me if l have any concerns. Thank you guys keep up the good work!!

Katherine Switzer

I have always been a complicated case but my provider is definitely able to help me, very encouraging, listening to my concerns what works and what doesn't work, explaining things so I can understand the bigger picture. I feel more and more confident with this provider, and under their care, they found the right medication regimen for me that actually is working without constant trial and error. I have been getting better even with tough ongoing situations that would normally make me spiral downwards. I will continue with Bayless Healthcare and with this provider.
