staff is amazing

Ben Welch

My Experience has been Nothing short of AWESOME!!! From Justina to Dr. Adedeji and vanessa, They all really CARE. That means A lot to me, THANKS 2nd Chance!!!

Carrie Merlino

Expect to wait at least 2 HOURS!!!! Apparently on the addict side it's a 3 HOUR WAIT. Then when I got in the doctor treated me like a 5 years old because I was upset about waiting for 2 hours and instead of apologizing he threatened to make me leave!!!! Horrible service!!!!

Kristen Kish

Had my first appointment today. I was expecting the worst from all the bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the wait was about 2 hours but honestly I didn’t mind because Dr. Reddy and all the staff were extremely nice.

Taso Gicoudis

Small waiting room not enough chairs. People standing around waiting. Wait time 2 plus hours.

Kate D

Sure the wait is long and yeah that can turn people off, but they're amazing at what they do. I'm from NEW YORK and as impatient as I am it's worth the wait because they take the time to actually help you and understand you to therefore better help you in the long run. Dr.Dekker changed my life and I am beyond grateful and successfully living my life better.

Sandra Dew

Such a change to get treated by a real psychiatrist who knows what he is doing, thank you Dr Reddy! I have been his patient for a long time now and will follow him wherever he goes.

Sheri Scala

My provider is a fully educated, likable woman. She takes the time to explain any meds and why one would benefit from a change. Not only does E Sass explain, she will take out a book and show you in black and white. All decisions are left up to you. She is worth the rather long wait, si bring something to do !

Amanda Miller

I just want to give an honest opinion about my experience here. Dr Reddy is the first person in my history of addiction that brought my life to a semblance of normalcy. The practice is very busy but with the texting system I am in and out in 30-40 minutes. I have been struggling with going in and out of inpatient rehabs for the last 10 years to the extent that my family gave up on me. Today I have a job and a life because of 2nd Chance.

Coby Bonifasi

The wait is a little long. But they keep the waiting room at a decent temperature. So at least it's not an uncomfortable wait. They do have great hours tho. They start appts at 9am and there latest appt is at 6pm.They take all kinds of insurance and starting October 1st they will be excepting A.H.C.C.C.S. The provider I see Dr. Reddy is a very nice young man. Very professional. He asks the right questions and answers any questions you have for him accordingly. If comparing to other doctors offices, I couldn't call it. They all seem the same to me.

Mimi Annoual

Front desk staff are amazingly helpful when spoken to with courtesy. Justina is always so nice and helpful in person and on the phone. The wait time is the only con from this office but they have the option of text to have you come back when its ur turn which has really made a huge difference for me at this office! Would reccomend to absolutely everyone.

I am amazed by this place and Dr. Ulrich. I didn’t go here for rehab and I was kind of shocked it was called what it was. I just came for a psychiatry appointment. I’ve had ADHD for years but just moved to Arizona. This was the first doctor in this state I felt like even listened to me. He’s a good listener and didn’t treat me like I was seeking for drugs, also a first in Arizona. I don’t know if the laws are different here about prescription meds than they were in Oregon but no one seemed able or wanted to help me until I saw Dr. Ulrich. I barely waited at all and it was super affordable.

Connor DeVore

My doctor for years now ,Trusted always punctual and a good man of medicine

Jonathan Garcia

Had my first appointment with Dr Reddy and I think I finally found someone that understands how to handle my issue. I feel positive in a very long time. I hope to keep up with my treatment plan.

Dannie Smith

Absolutely the worst staff I've had the displeasure of dealing with. Not compassionate whatsoever.

Barry

I was a patient here of Dr.Reddy..I never thought he cared much about my Xanax use....not much talk..it was more...here is your new prescription ... after a 3 to 5 hour wait..I left the state and could not find a doctor to give me a prescription for my Xanax..I've been told you can have seizures if it is stopped cold turkey..I'm writing this tonight as it is my first night with out Xanax in over 14 years..I'm scared..I called Dr Reddy office over and over this week...and they told me they would talk to Dr Reddy...no return calls at all no help...no help at all..could they have not helped me.?.or gave me advice..I pray I don't have a seizure..I guess..it's all about money..don't be me...

Jeff Siekmann

I like this place for a couple simple reasons. #1: You can get an appointment to be seen. #2: The doctors and staff do care, they spend time with their patients. #3: Treatment plan explained thoroughly and timeframe for future visits and services specifically spelled out.......Could wait time be less: YES. My alternative is to wait weeks to be seen by any other provider and guess what, you wait at the other places too.

jesse lewis

The long waits are worth it. The office girls are always very helpful and friendly. The Dr is very nice and easy to talk to. Overall I am in a much better position since I've started coming here!

mike dood

Everyone is very friendly! Great place to go if you are ready to stop letting opiates run your life.

Ari Klopfer

I had an appointment, they wanted to charge me $250 for my first visit and $160 for all visits after that. I walked out because I said that is too much, I also have insurance and knew the price was too high for basic psychiatric care. 20 minuets later I received a phone call from one of the staff stating they would give me a discount, of about 50 percent for all services including my initial visit. This gave me pause, If 2nd chance was willing to drop the price so drastically so and so quickly, Then that was the price they could have given me in the first place. I find these pricing practices to be predatory in nature. It is not right for these companies to be asking for more than they deserve. It is nice to be offered a discount, but it should reflect your businesses standards to give fair pricing to all people, not just the ones that catch you in unequal treatment.

My experience with Dr Reddy was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and explained to me exactly the issue that was going on with my previous medications that were prescribed to me by my pcp. He worked with me to get me on a good regimen. Excellent doctor, highly recommend!

Sarah Jones

I really like Dr. Reddy and all the staff. They are friendly and truly care. There can be an extremely long wait time, however as bad as that sucks they offer to text toy a half hour before being seen so you don't have to wait there, but I guess that tells you how great the are by how many people go there.

William Cholakian

If you like not being seen and being around a bunch of drug addicts asking for money this is the place. I went in and quickly left when I was told the Dr. was "backed up". I think this may be a government cash grab clinic. I wanted a doctor and not a nurse Practitioner ! Waste of time and money. It is a really pathetic excuse for a mental health clinic .

Josh Broaddus

Great place with great employees. Just to many patients they need more doctors. It takes to long! But other then the wait it is a great place

Richard Sollami

Finally two Psychiatrists that really help with the correct medication without judgement

Tyler Berault

L dr. Reddy has saved my life he is the best doctor I could have ever asked for and he works with you the wait man PL a little loan but it's well worth saving your life and I'm sorry if I'm spelling her name wrong but the receptionist Jolene she is just the absolute best because she puts up with me coming in 45 minutes late every week

Amber Thompson

Leslie Handler-Frakey

Love the Docs and the service, long waits to see doctor.

black Money

All the negative reviews are correct and valid. Wait time is ridiculous and the waiting room is tiny and can't even hold the patients they have waiting in line due to their poor organization. Waiting 2 hours so far, might be here a little longer. If anyone wrote a positive review you may be brain dead or have mental retardation.

Julio M

This is not like any other place trying to push scripts by some quacks, Dr Reddy genuinely cares without judging and worked with me on what works for me. There is a wait but not too bad, the staff is very friendly.

Jordan Bevacqua

Im at a crossroads here, the service is great! The wait time on the other hand is unacceptable inconvenient and feels like our time doesnt matter. Like I said previously said the staff is incredible at their job. Dr. Reddy is patient and listens i appreciate it.

Casey Kacena

They can save your life, if your patience is non-existent you will be fustrated, but the results possible through these services have givin me a "Second Chance" ( pun intended ). Highly recommend Dr. Reddy and his great staff.

Ritzy Rags and Shoes

dr reddy is the worst doctor in town, he isn't even a real doctor he is a drug pusher. All he does is write scripts and thats it. He doesn't check in on you or ask you anything. You have to come every week and you have to wait 2-3 hours everytime to see him. This place is very poorly ran. He is rude to his patients and his staff. His staff talks about how much of an prick he is all the time. All he cares about is making money off addicts. Do NOT go to this place there are other places you can go that takes insurance. Also when your there all the patients in there waiting all talk about how much they hate this guy. This guy needs to go to jail end of story

Joey Fant

So easy to sign up and get started with your maintenance program to get clean. Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Reddy. Love the staff too.i finally found a place that cares to help me beat this addiction. you guys are awesome. See you next week! I suggest you go mid day and you will be out of there in 1 1/2 hours or less. THANK You guys so much for helping me turn my life around seriously.

No Polygons

Dr. Reddy is wonderful, I have no complaints about him. However, the wait time at this place is absolutely insane. I've waited over an hour and half past my appointment time once. If the office can get the appointments and wait times under control, I'd give 5 stars. *Update*: Good point. Rating updated.

Kelli Fiolle

Linda Bazalaki

Muriel is a great listener and provider. The staff always put their best foot forward at all times. Love the care I receive every visit.

Jordan Smith

Dr. Reddy is one of the kindest doctors, he tries to sit down and talk with each person a fair amount of time but has to be quick as well as other are waiting. Since i been with A him a year now, hes helped me when I couldn't help myself. He has improved wait times dramatically, still talks and listens and is a great guy. If it wasnt for 2nd chance I dont think I would of found a 2nd chance anywhere cheaper. Don't listen to the older reviews This is a true review on Dr Reddy and how many he helps and the staff is friendier then any clinic/outpatient for drugs ive ever met. The ONE DOWNSIDE is the SMALL WAITING ROOM.

Gita Soni

Dr. provides all controlled subs. with checking patient history. Don't recommend this doctor for your love one.

Ali Rajaei-Tehrani

Horrible horrible horrible!!! Not sure what others are talking about here but as a physician myself I have never had worse treatment. The office is poorly organized, the wait time averages 2-3 hrs. On top of that he doesn't listen. Don't do it if you can avoid it.

Marlo Kobylarek

I had a great experience with not only Dr.Reddy but his entire staff! The front office staff is very nice and efficient. There scheduling is great too and I love there texting system! Dr. Reddy was very professional and thorough. He made me feel like he cares and that means a lot to me especially with what I'm dealing with..I'm definitely GLAD that I found them !!

2nd chance is been by far the best treatment center I’ve been to yet I see people complaining about the waiting room of all things but I think people forget this is an epedemic so of course it’s gonna be packed..dr reddy is awesome he’s been handling addiction treatment a long time so he knows what he’s talking about

Peggy Sturgis

I’ve been a consistent patient since January of 2017. Except for what everyone else complains about which is the double, triple & quadruple booking & having to sit there for 5 hours or longer which personally has happened quite a bit, the service that I personally am speaking of is phenomenal. I get a chance to see him for as long as I need to, if he feels that it’s safe & something he’s willing to allow me to try medication wise, that I’ve asked for he’ll make the change. On the flip side, if I ask & he feels it’s not safe and he’s not willing to do it he’ll say no, however, the “no” is always backed up with a reason. So, I like that I get to be involved with my own treatment. I think he’s an extremely professional Doctor who cares if there’s a problem, not just a number like other Doctors. It’s nice to know that he remembers what’s specifically going on in my life week to week, which again, makes me feel cared about. The front office staff is also as accommodating. I’ve been knowing the head of the front desk person Justina since my very 1st appointment. She’s always treated me with dignity, respect as well as caring and kindness. I believe that I have felt better since I’ve started, up through today being asked to do this survey. A huge thank you for Dr. Reddy for helping me all the way to the front desk for doing what they do, especially to Justina who also puts in a lot of hours and not to mention that she’ll pick up the phone even after hours and sometimes as long into the night if 9:30pm. I’m thankful for that because I’ve needed help after hours a few times & she will go the extra mile for you to receive the help you need for however long she’s there. I’m not sure what I would do without 2nd Chance Treatment Center. Thank you to all of you!!

Before, I had submitted a angry response, I was having a bad day, I would like to resubmit a real review that actually depicts Dr. Reddy. He has been patient with me, working with me and and actually cares about everybody he sees. I'm sorry to everybody that saw my last post and to Dr. Reddy himself.....He cares more than you might realize.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY RELIED ON PRESCRIBED OPIATES FOR PAIN RELIEF/MANAGEMENT: Give Dr. Reddy and 2nd Chance a chance and schedule an appointment today! I was initially scared to transition from opiates for pain management but Dr Reddy eased my fears with his thoroughness and detailed patient education about the entire process. I am almost angry that I never knew the physical effects opiates can have on your entire body and brain, otherwise I would have switched a LONG time ago. I have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of pain relief I've recieved from the medications hes prescribed and feel confident that once I am able to receive the injections and surgery I need to correct my back injury, that Dr Reddy will be just as helpful and supportive during the medication reduction process. I'm no longer afraid- in fact, with Dr. Reddy and his compassionate and kind staff, I feel 100% supported and confident that my continuation with his plan will bring me to the life I've wanted for 10 years- completely free from pain and dependance upon medications to control it. I feel blessed for having found this clinic, and will forever feel grateful that I made that first call/appointment. Dont let the fear of going without medications you've relied upon for years detract you from helping yourself- this clinic and program will give help you and give you the tools you need to reach the quality of life you want and deserve!

Cheryl Garcia

Thank you Dr Dekker! You are the kindest and most patient doc I have met in a long time. You have explained everything so well. You even take the time to make sure monetarily I have choices. YOU DO CARE Not only as another patient but as a human being I can not thank you enough. Also you said something as I was leaving your office that struck me, you said be safe out there! That you for making my journey a little easier to endure

My experience at 2nd Chance Treatment center has been very rewarding. They are understanding, respectful, and caring. Dr. Reddy listens respectfully to your problems and treats them appropriately. The staff is very kind and caring. I am very happy to have found such a wonderful treatment center.

Robert Boley

Place takes forever to do anything. A appointment here takes minimum 4 hours. Absolutely ridiculous.

Richard Sweis

Extremely well organized treatment center once you get on their system, they are now like my extended family

Nicholas trujillo

I love the staff they are very nice and the Doctor is extremely helpful I have a life again thanks to 2nd chance treatment.

Maryann Bridges

Staff kind of and responsive to if I need to change anything an appt. Time (which is a lot of times for me!) Love the idea of checking in... Then if there is a wait... They text me to return to office! Very supportive and positive Dr. REDDY. He is professional and without being able to stuffy. I he has a great dry sense of humor, and has a way of making it me feel comfortable and he is trustworthy. The whole atmosphere is very accepting and welcoming. I am

Erica Webb

We recently moved from Ohio to Arizona and 2nd Chance treatment center has worked diligently with our family to help make the treatment process suitable for our family's finances and appointment needs. This is a very important aspect when it comes to substance abuse treatment, The financial obligiations do affect the emotional impact it can have on not just the person being treated but the family involved. Many insurance companies will go to the moon and back to avoid covering even a small fraction of expenses for substance abuse treatment and medications which is sadly a flawed part of the system, and I'm sure a huge reason why many people fall through the cracks. This can make or break a persons soberity, and a broken soberity could very much result in a broken family. So my hat goes off to 2Nd chance and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for going above and beyond to help keep our family strong, sober, and stress free. We are extremely grateful for all you have done for us! -The Webb Family

The wait times are generally 2-4hours for a scheduled appt time. They are working well past the closing hour of 6pm.

This center was referred to me by a doctor at a different facility. I had my first appointment here recently, not before reading reviews on the doctors as I often do, and wanted to share my experience. The office itself is encumbered with people seeking help, as we're not alone. This led to a longer than usual wait time (1-5 hours as per other patients) to see the doctor compared to elsewhere, in-office. However, in previously attempting to contact other psychiatrists to find earliest available, it's usually in the 4-6 week area. Dr. Gogek being able to see me 5 days from calling still made it fast by comparison. Then when I did meet the Dr., he listened, asked questions that I felt were relevant, and prescribed medication that we were both in agreement on. All while also discussing alternative treatment and actively holding a conversation about the quality of my care. He never pushed any one particular medication and looks for a solution from other angles. He must see 100 people a day sometimes with how busy that place was and he still made my appointment feel personal. I'll be back for sure, but with a good book next time.

2nd Chance Recovery is a great facility that specializes in treatment for opioid addiction. The staff is kind and caring. My provider is Dr. Reddy and he is the best. He always makes sure my dose is where it needs to be and is on top of anything else that he sees will help me stay in recovery. I came to 2nd Chance Recovery after a 9 day detox and graduating the 28 day rehab program at Valley Hospital (I recommend Valley Hospital to anyone looking for a detox or rehab facility) Dr. Reddy was able to see me almost immediately after signing new patient forms and had my prescriptions sent to my pharmacy so they would be ready for pickup as soon as I arrived at the pharmacy.

Raymond Brady

I have been a patient at 2nd Chance Treatment Center. With Dr. Reddy. The goal is to stay off, medication that I don't need For pain, the treatment, that I am on works, its life saving. The Staff is considerate, kind, always helpful. The Doctors are considerate and knowledgeable about there patients. Thank You very much to the Staff and to the Doctors.

Donna Stack

It’s worth the wait to see Dr. Reddy, I give them a 5 Star ⭐️ rating. The staff is hard working, friendly and awesome

Grate doctor, I really appreciate his help

T. Kleinhans

Front desk ladies are very professional and kind. I absolutely hate writing stuff like this. I’m finding myself editing it down because I feel guilty but I don’t want anyone thinking withdrawal symptoms aren’t a thing. -It’s expensive out of pocket, but I continued to go because it’s extremely difficult to find a good psychiatrist. I got switched to someone else in the office, but I was still very hopeful. The further into the visit we got, the worse I felt about myself. He did suggest I seek counseling for a past trauma I finally mentioned out loud, which was validating and I needed to hear that. However, there were “red flags” that made me decide not to return. I was told that you don’t really have to worry about withdrawal symptoms if you’ve only been taking something for a couple months. He was surprised a certain medication I was previously on caused weight gain for me, which most know to be true. I was told I’m probably going to start drinking at work. I told him I didn’t do anything but weed, and not until I was 18. He didn’t believe me at first on either note and was surprised, asked me where I grew up, if my parents were still together. Statistics, I guess. He forgot what he was going to prescribe me at the end of the visit but remembered a minute or two later after he asked me if I remembered. I didn’t remember. Without going into too much detail, he was pretty patronizing and argumentative. Some comic relief is nice but at the right moment. He’s -not- completely apathetic, honestly. I just wouldn’t pay that much to put myself through that again.

I usually have zero problems

Im happy I've found this place , Dr. Ulrich listened to me for awhile and figured out what I needed, and it has completely changed my life. I'm so grateful to finally having the guts to get help when I needed it.

Dr.Reddy is a saint and anyone who thinks different has a brain of an orangutan

TheOtherBrother Darrell

They have a great staff here. They do see a lot of patients and you can expect to spend from 2-4 hours from first check in. But, they do have a texting system now so you can leave after the first step and they'll text you 30 minutes before the Doc is ready to see you. Works pretty well if you're busy like me. Can head back to the office to get some more work done.

Kevin Brownfield

July 15th I called your office to reschedule an appointment I had on the 19th. I was meant to drive to California to help my in-laws move to Phoenix. I told the MALE I was speaking to that I needed more medication or I'd run out before I could come back in for the next open appointment. I work Monday through Thursday and would be leaving Thursday night on the trip. The man told me I couldn't get a refill as my nurse practitioner, Muriel I believe was her name, was no longer at the location. I begged him to help figure out what I could to, my medicine has dangerous withdrawals and also helps me with anxiety, major depression, and PTSD. Not having this medicine would be dangerous and possible life threatening. The man told me to come in Tuesday, the 16th at 9am. I drove almost an hour to be there before work. When I arrived, there were already a handful of people, which is fine, however the front desk then told me they couldn't help me. The girl didn't seem to care about my situation. She told me I could wait for 2:30 when an appointment was open. Remember my work schedule? I couldn't wait. I was lucky that the 9am appointment didn't show up, because I took their spot, however, despite being the first appointment, I still wasn't seen until 10:30am. Which meant that I was now extremely late for work. I had to call and find a replacement until I could go in. So here's a list of what you've done to me, 1. Given me medication which if stopped abruptly could have dangerous symptoms. 2. Refused to refill that prescription, despite it being my second visit, even after this third visit, I have not been given access to refills without having to come back in, which costs me money. 3. Lied to me about when I could be seen. 4. Made me wait an unnecessary length of time to be seen by a new nurse practitioner, a meeting which lasted no longer than 10 minutes. 5. Triggered my anxiety 6. Stole work hours from me. 7. And to top it off, took $60 from me for the service of being messed with. To be honest, if there were doctors who accepted insurance near me I would never go back to your location. I certainly won't recommend you to anyone.

The Good: The staff is accommodating, efficient, and polite. The office is convenient and clean. The treatment plans are effective and offered with care and respect. The Bad: The major complaint is the excessive wait times. Two to three hours in a crowded waiting room is standard. Since appointments are weekly (or bi-weekly), this can become problematic (interfere w/employment, school, family, etc). Although 2nd Chance is similarly priced to other clinics, appointment and medication costs add up quickly. Overall: It's a wonderful, albeit costly program. 2nd Chance supports the program with quality doctors and an accommodating staff. The unusually long wait times make for a 3 star recommend.

DR. REDDY IS THE MAN HES HAS HELPED ME COMPLETELY TURN MY LIFE AROUND..I APPRECIATE HIM & HIS STAFF!!

Be prepared to wait up to 2-3 hrs for your scheduled appointment. I thought it was a one time thing, but apparently not. Tried to put up with it for a year and I just can't anymore. Too much time wasted waiting and then there is No explanation as to why???

Tessa Powell

The staff is very friendly and the provider is also very nice but it literally takes HOURS to be seen it's so fucking ridiculous and makes me wanna just up an leave or freak the hell out...

When I made an appointment I was not told that the Dr. I was seeing was leaving the practice a month. He told me one of the other Dr's would see me. I found out they stuck me with a nurse practioner. I was expecting a Dr. Don't even get me started on the office staff.

sarah merrill

Been coming here for four years and I trust the dr and staff. Dr Reddy is always willing to listen and help me fix any medication issues. Staff is polite and always trying to get patients taken care of despite the long wait time.

Brad Schuessler

Dr. Reddy was friendly and caring to my needs...highly recommend if your looking for a great dr to help. brad

Sylvia Zegan

Everything seemed very unprofessional except for the office admins . The doctor I saw made me feel very uncomfortable and I had trouble answering his questions. He prescribes me something I have taken before and know doesent work. I really hope I don’t have to come here again. Also. On the first visit they ask you for your card information written down. It’s a very bad practice, don’t fill that part out. That’s basically giving someone a blank check.

rainbow cheeseburger

Doctor Bryan was great. He helped me alot with my severe deppresion, and prescribed me the rite meds. Definitely feeling better now than before.

Bonita Jones

Dr. Reddy and his staff are kimd and understanding.

Chase Berry

Terrible wait time, my husband goes every week and is there for more then 5 hours every time WAITING FOR AN APPOINTMENT THAT ONLY LASTS 5 MINUTES terrible staff

Tim Nelson

Joe Moreno

The only real bad thing about this office is the wait sometimes but it’s not the front office or even the doctor’s fault when there’s just so many people who need help. It’s called an epidemic for a reason and if it wasn’t for the staff being great I probably would’ve found a new place already though.

Martin Hotten

I was overcharged in August and have been trying to get a check for the difference. I have called the third party billing service and the office and keep on getting the run around. It has now been two months and no check!

Unfortunately my experience at Dr. Reddy's facility was less than satisfactory. Upon scheduling an appointment with Doctor Reddy, I was in the process of switching doctors and was looking for a new regular doctor. I chose Doctor Reddy because he was less than a mile away from my house and across the street from my CVS. My first appointment was at 1:00pm. I ultimately wasn't able to talk with Dr. Reddy until 7:00pm. I had asked the receptionist multiple times what the wait time and cue was, and she informed me that I was 4th in line, for insurance verification and that she couldn't tell me how long the wait would be. At around 5:45, the recepetionist said that my insurance had gone through and the co-pay would be $200. I paid the fee and stepped out to contact my Primary Care doctor and insurance company. I was then informed that my co-pay should in no way be the $200 and that his office had already charged my card. I walked into the office and informed the receptionist that my doctor claimed that the insurance charge was incorrect and requested a refund. The receptionists only response was "Dr. Reddy will see you now." Dr. Reddy first asked me to close the door and began to inform me that he would not see me as a patient because I was "rude" to the receptionist and was "The only person who had this issue today." Throughout the 6 hours of waiting I did at his office, I saw dozens of people waiting for hours on end. Some even had children with them that hadn't even eaten or been home in hours. Dr. Reddy tried to excuse his wait time to me by claiming that he saw 45 patients that day, and although I believe he was telling the truth and can empathize with the stress and disorganization of seeing that many patients in one day, I cannot excuse or empathize with a man that lets his office get so far behind, that his patients have to suffer a 6 hour waiting time, and little to no explanation throughout the day regarding the delay. Edit: I just checked my bank account and the office charged me $250 instead of the 200 they claimed. 100% a scam. I have spoken with my primary care doctor and she confirmed that she IS submitting a REPORT to the BOARD of MEDICINE.

Samantha Lopez

My sanity has been restored thanks to 2nd Chance. My psychiatrist Dr Reddy treats me like it is and has put me on the right path.

N Hinman

Extremely helpful staff and Dr's here. Sometimes the wait can get long. But the services here are worth the wait! Thanks to all at 2nd Chance Treatment Center!

Only 2 doctors so the wait sucks sometimes, but they are usually on the ball with things.

Golda Peterson

I'd give minus stars, if I could. Took someone for an appointment with Dr. Reddy, the first appointment of the day. The doctor didn't even arrive at the office until about 40 minutes past the appointment time and didn't call the person back until an hour and 10 minutes past the appointment time. He didn't apologize for his rudeness in being so late for HIS FIRST APPOINTMENT OF THE DAY. Just a warning, the hour and 10 minutes was not as long as the person had waited before. The front office staff are very nice. That is the only positive.

He's a great Dr. He listens when you have concerns about ANYTHING and i mean ANYTHING!! I do think that for its being a place to to to get Medication for your substance/alcohol abuse that it shouldn't be at time such a stressful thing, the ladies up front LITERALLY WORK THERE A**'S OFF WITH TRYING TO ACCOMMODATE EVERYONE in a small space not too add that on top of it WERE ADDICTS AND WE DON'T HAVE VERY GOOD PATIENTS, with the time just waiting to get back to see him takes what feels like hours; BUT DON'T GET WRONG there are times where It is out of his and the girls controle due to the patients and all the insurance process i personally think that with the amount of people i seen there and the stress it has put on my friends that are the hardest working ladies i have ever seen, that to take off some of that stress everyday new patients should be referred out for a month or two so that the patients who have been there for months aren't the ones having to stress out over going to the dr especially when it takes up at sometimes my entire day. I Found a Office that i enjoy going to to see the employees they are amazing and I think they should BOTH GET A RAISE!!!!! ;D (for realzzzz) to make up for the stress and the atmosphere they both provide the office, as well as not opening at the listed time if there is no dr to see patients as it is not fair on everyone, i do see it from everyone's perspective, Dr Reddy sits there all day dealing with pain in A** addicts and still seems to always have a calm collective attitude witch make its relaxing more once you are taken back and the front office Ladies make the waiting time not a complete drag as they are very friendly and welcoming and I just love them they are all the BEST!!!!! 2nd Chance has the most amazing staff i have ever seen in a health field.

I am happy to have finally found a place that doesn't treat my addiction like a number in a methadone clinic. Dr Reddy is incredibly knowledgeable and the girls are so friendly, they feel like my extended family. I feel so productive and functional after starting my treatment here. Thank you Dr Reddy.

I made an appointment at 4pm and I waited three hours, yes 3 hours I am not exaggerating , before i was called up by the receptionist and told they had ran my insurance wrong and now I would have to pay an additional $50 if I still wanted to see the doctor that day. They were closing and I had no way to get them their precious money in time and I got told "oh well that's too bad". When i tried to schedule an appointment for another day the receptionist was looking at me like I was an alien and kept mentioning how if i came back it would cost more and i probably wouldn't be able to pay for it even though I just had to switch my secondary insurance to my primary to pay the price I was told it would cost before I waited THREE HOURS. Not a half hour, not sixty minutes, not two hours, but three hours before they could tell me they made a mistake. The worst part was I was never offered an apology and I was treated like it wad my fault. The money i had paid originally was never refunded to me they just kept it and i had even had my vitals checked and given them a UA. I have nothing to say about the doctor seems like a nice guy from the reviews but the ladies who work the front desk need an attitude adjustment. I am trying to change my life and I think a lot of people coming in as new patients are especially vulnerable and am I really asking too much from these people because I want to be treated like a human being.

Dr worked with me in every way possible to help accomidate changes made with my move from ohio to Arizona. As rough as the transition was it all worked out to be a very helpful in the end. Also he was the only dr I could find initially who would take me on before my move to Arizona. I am thankful for 2nd Chance Treatment Center.

One of the best psychiatrists I’ve been to in a VERY long time. I come from a rough background and finding Dr. Reddy was exactly what I needed. For once my needs actually feel like they are met and along with the friendly staff I don’t think you can find another team like them. It feels good to finally regain my mental health back after the trauma I’ve been through. Yes there is a wait time but if you get the text messaging services (which has them send you a text when your appointment is up after you are done dropping a urine sample). Makes the whole process go by WAY easier. Most places make me so uncomfortable and I suffer from social anxiety on top of ptsd and this place starts to feel like home after awhile

Leitha S

5 stars for Dr Reddy. My doctor, psychiatrist, friend all in one. Saved my life, God bless!

Suboxone withdrawal is worse than heroin. If you want to save your life go to an inpatient facility AND get out of your environment. I have 4 years clean and sober today and trying suboxone maintenance is only prolonging the inevitable. I also used to work here in 2015 and you don’t want to know the corruption that happens....I am surprised the feds haven’t lit this place up yet.

Cairo The King

Besides the ridiculous wait times, overall friendly, helpful, and considerate of patient needs and concerns.

William Brown

From the moment my wife and I met Dr Reddy we instantly felt we were in the right place. He is knowledgeable, patient and hopeful. He was so clear about the path I would take and met me where I was, taking baby steps. I have come a long way now and owe this to him.

Amy Williams

I'm very happy to find Dr. Reddy after my years of going to therapists and psychiatrists and other quacks. He immediately understood my situation and put me on medications that turned my life around. I am able to work now and my life is finally getting back on track and i owe this to him. thank you

The physicians at this office are very thorough and attentive to the patients needs. They genuinely care and go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

We made an appointment for my son and drove an hour to get there just to be told that there was a mistake and the doctor that see’s children wasn’t in that day... so, without an apology, we drive an hour home. We rescheduled the appointment for later that week and after we arrived and checked it we waited for 3 hours to see the doctor, which ended up being a niece practitioner. I am aware of the “biggest drug epidemic” happening now but pace as a professional office you really should pace yourself and your appointments, it is never okay for someone to wait for 3 hours after a scheduled appointment. We won’t be going back. We have since seen another child psychiatrist who helped us and saw us at our scheduled time. Sorry for the one star but our experience was terrible. I just can’t recommend you’re services.

Jonathan Price

Everytime ive been here ive never been seen less than an hour after my appointment. Stay away if possible. Staff doesnt care wont give a refund if youre tired of waiting.

I was in a panic last week after receiving a phone call that my regular doctor's license had been restricted and he would no longer be able to prescribe medication. I called 2nd chance at 5:15pm on Thursday and was able to get an appointment at 3:30pm the very next day. I had my 13 month old son with me so the long wait time was a little rough but well worth it. Dr. Reddy was seemingly upset that his patients had to wait so long to see him. He was very kind, thorough, and respectful after what I can only imagine was a VERY long Friday for him, considering how many patients he saw. The ladies at the front desk were very kind and I was baffled at how wonderful the other patients in the waiting room were! I was trying to fill out my paperwork with my son in my lap who was particularly fussy that day and several other patients gave toys, books and other personal belongings to my son to occupy him so that I could complete my paperwork. I am thankful that Dr. Reddy (and his staff) was able to get me an appointment in less than 24 hours from the time I called. I would be in a tough spot if not for 2nd Chance.

Great patient care with a friendly and understanding staff. 2nd Chance Treatment center offers a variety of options for a variety of condtions. I finally have my life back!

OneRom LLC

It can get really busy at times but I don't know if anyone's noticed but they don't call it an epidemic for nothing. Also, the awesome staff (shout out to Justina! You know I had to write something if not you shouldn't have sent me the link lol) both front and back with their hard work and willingness to stay to all hours of the late night. There's pretty much no such thing as a perfect place but I'll say that Second Chance is a second to none treatment center if you truly want to stop using... I've been going here since my God knows what number overdose and I really wish my girlfriend and I at the time had found this place sooner then maybe she'd still be here.. I'm sorry for the long book but thanks for listening to my little rant..Remember that you may not be where you want right now, but be damn glad you're not where you used to be!

Taylor Edwards

You will love Dr Reddy if you are okay with getting drug tested weekly, and having to wait a bit. They moniter their patients very closely, which is good. Some people find it annoying. I would reccomend them to anyone who needs help getting stable, or trying to get sober. Great outpatient weekly care. I am very thankful for Dr Reddy & 2nd Chance!

Great friendly staff always willing to help if you had past issues, no insurance, etc.

Connor Strege

Came in to try and get help with my panic attacks. Was treated like I was a drug addict and the DR. Acted like I was just trying to get meds. I'm just trying to get help. I was told by my psychologist to come to a phyciatrist and they take my money and tell me to go see a psychologist I wont be back.. I'll also make sure nobody I know ever comes here!

Stephanie Canfield

Dr Russell Horning, is awesome. All of the staff are also awesome. If you need counseling or see a psychiatrist dr i would highly recommend this office to anyone. Their availability to get you in to see a dr is very quickly like. My first appointment was very quickly.

Zak Norgren

I started here a few months ago with dr. Reddy and although the wait is bad at times (better now) I always thought the staff and the doctors were kind, professional and also understanding of their patients. Dr. Reddy is a No nonsense Doctor and I like that he doesn't make me jump through hoops to do something better for my life. Dr. Dekker is awesome as well. He always gives me the chance to talk and he genuinely cares about my recovery. Good experience thanks guys for the help! UPDATE: so Dr Dekker moved on to new opportunities

Jenny Rodriguez

It's getting a 2 because I happen to like my provider, Dr. Gogek. I believe this is Dr. Reddy's practice and he needs to make some drastic improvements immediately! I have been coming here since June 2017 and only 1-2 times have I been seen within 1-1.5 hours of my appt. time. He's all about the $$$ as they double book and you will NOT be seen any sooner than 2-2.5 hours after your scheduled time. This is obviously more than just a mere inconvenience when you have a job and they want to see you EVERY week. On top of it, Dr. Reddy is the worst and has patients scheduled around 9am but doesn't seem to get started taking people back until well after that time....today it was around 10:15am that he started to see his patients. Respect your patients' time, Dr. Reddy and get it together because this is one of the worst offices I've ever been to. On top of it, the admin staff are not that friendly, the facility is dirty and I hate having to use their bathroom. If you're new and looking for a new Psychiatrist, save yourself a lot of time, frustration, and money and find another practice. I have held off on switching because I don't want to start all over but my time is worth $$$ as well and I'm done wasting my time and money because this money hungry doctor can't get it together. Horrible horrible service. Shame on you, Dr. Reddy...I'm surprised you haven't been reported to the board...but maybe you have. Certainly worth looking into at this rate because I don't have much confidence that you'll even care enough to work on improving this.

Wait time is 3-4 hours long. Helpful and caring staff but the workflow is disorganized

Me Nae

If you enjoy waiting 3 hours minimum from your scheduled time to see the dr for 5- minutes this is the place for you. If you like other patience standing outside junked out asking you if you want to buy or sell some medication, or being asked hey is this the doctor that gives out xanax.... then definitely go there. Honestly I truly can't believe this guy isn't under investigation. Less treatment center, more along the lines of a methadone clinic, just keeps you coming back for years.

Jesse Petroski

Tomorrow is 9 days clean from suboxone, 38 for cocaine. You can free yourself of the leash. The withdrawals are not as bad as short acting so long as you taper, but do not stabilize at less than 2 mg.

I have seen Dr Billing twice already & have nothing to say but wonderful things about him. He is very understanding, positive, & not judgemental at all. I was super nervous about coming in my first time, but he made sure I was comfortable with it all & I left happy. The wait times are a tad long, but they're doing their best on working that out. You will wait the longest on Fridays, a couple hours. You can sign in and do your vitals, & you have the option for them to text you a half hour before you will be seen so you don't have to wait in office if they're super busy like on Fridays. I came in on Tuesday and was in & out within an hour. The staff is very friendly & help you out the best they can (my first appt was on a Friday at 1:45 & I didn't know their wait times. I was in a rush to take my daughter to a concert by 630, so I called at 430 to reschedule. they talked to Dr Billing as I was next & I came back at 5 and he made sure I was out by 6 when I needed to be. Your first appt is the longest). I couldn't be any happier with coming here & the service I receive(d). If you're looking to get clean without the judgement.. definitely come here & don't hesitate. You CAN do it. They will make a plan specifically for you & not just toss medication at you and tell you good luck. They are really here to support you and help you through the process..it's not just because it's their job, but they truly do care and understand and want to help. After 7 years, a couple months clean here and there, I'm starting to feel normal and hopeful again. I wouldn't be able to do this without their help..it's a long hard road, but I promise - there IS light at the end of the tunnel. Don't give up. You have a support system with them. It's a huge weight off your shoulders the second you walk in to their office.

Ashur Lazar

Dr. Reddy is by far the best Dr that i have been too. He knows exactly what medication your body is in need for. He is understanding, and helpful. I highly recommend you to call and make an appointment immediately. He saved my life, he will save yours.

I only gave 1 star because zero is not a option. I seen Dr. Reddy for 3 years until my last visit. I waited 6 hours and when I finally got back to see him I was trying to share my frustration about the wait times and was told to shut up if I wanted my medicine. I've never been disrespected by a Doctor like this. I am self pay at his office and found another Dr that takes my insurance who actually cares about his patience and not the money. Dr. Reddy does not care about any of his patience and I realized this once I seen Dr. Coehlo. He really sat down gave me the time and education I need to start getting off this nasty medicine which in the 3 years I was with Reddy he never tried. Dr. Reddy only made sure he got his money every 2 weeks. I dont know how he doesn't get in trouble for the things that go on in his office. The girls in the front are amazing the dr is just a horrible person. After 3 years of seeing this dr I would not recommend him to anyone. The last time I seen him I left his office while having a full blown anxiety attack and that's not how a psychiatric appointment is supposed to end. Save your time, and money go somewhere else!

If I could give a minus I would!! First visit I waited for HOURS only to be told they canceled my appointment!!! They never called to tell me this, and let me check in and sit there. 2nd time I went the doctor accused my of being a liar, and non compliant! Many other things I just dont want to discuss however he traumatized me to a point of me going to go inpatient again this is how mental health so called professionals treat their patients with PTSD??

Elisha Lyman

Dr. Ulrich is great!

Good Dr. Long waits from demand so I plan for it

The staff is always friendly. They are busy so make sure you give yourself time. But everyone in the building is amazing.

Rocio Orellana

I requested to see a therapist, instead I got a Nurse Practitioner that is not a therapist per her words. When I was seen She told me they only prescribe medication. I didn't need medication because I already see my pcp for this. I waited over an hour and fifteen minutes just to be told this. Not sure if this is standard for this practice, but if you're seeking therapy this may not be the place for you given my experience. The staff was less than friendly and they even had a crying child behind the reception desk. When I asked one of the receptionists how long it would be until I was seen she said she didn't know and that I was next, I still waited an additional 30 minutes until I was finally seen. I was offered more medication even though I didn't request any. I didn't take the prescription because I didn't feel comfortable being prescribed drugs by someone that doesn't know my medical history. This place sucks.

District 62

Great place takes care of your needs haven’t had a bad experience yet

Aiyana Shaw

It’s really important that doctors offices communicate & send reminders of appointments. This one failed to do so. Front desk told me a different date than the actual appointment they made. Didn’t tell me till after I showed up on the wrong day and they say it was rescheduled yet absolutely nobody contacted me to inform me of the changes or anything. Never even received a call or email reminding me of my appointment like last time. I’m sorry but I can’t receive treatment from a place that will waste my time & confuse me if they can’t get it together & communicate properly. It’s upsetting because I heard great things about one of their doctors there.

David Honaker

I go there for mental illness (severe depression and daily, hours long panic attacks). I have to cancel frequently because I also have very severe physical problems due to Marfan Syndrome. They really work with me. And the two gals in the front office: ANGELS.

Kurt Bevacqua

If you have state insurance this spot will get you into see the doctor for your subs and whatever else you take for free. I have 0 dollar copay for the doc visit and 0 dollars for all my scripts ... Idk how but this place is a savior for people with state insurance. I've been coming here for a while now and it's kept me and my wife on track. Dr. Reddy is a cool doctor who understands addiction and takes a more unconventional approach at helping you maintain long-term sobriety using suboxone maintenance and of you have any other mental health issues he will get you on the right meds for that as well. I will say that one only downside to this spot is that they require you to come once a week for your script no matter how long you've been coming to see him. It doesn't matter because it's free but it can be time consuming. They've gotten a lot better with wait times since I first started going and I imagine it'll only get faster as they are a fairly new office. I'd rather wait a little bit each week than live the way I used to live any day of the week... So people should stop complaining about wait times... Think of how much you used to wait to pick up and how often you'd have to pick up to stay well... Compare that to waiting once a week at a doctors office to get on medication that will eliminate cravings and block opiate receptors? It's a no brainier for me.

Okke Alberda

Dr Reddy lets patients wait for hours - 3 full hours are no exception - because his office consistently and deliberately schedules multiple patients at the same time. Totally disrespectful towards the patients.

Elaine P

Dr. Reddy is not professional, he treats his staff and patients with total disrespect. He screamed at a older lady and kicked her out of his office. If you are considering going to him Please Reconsider he is not a nice person and he does not care about how people feel. Go to another doctor he will not take care of you. You won't get what is needed from this doctor, they should close his doors because he over books and it takes at least 3 hrs for an appointment. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR SEE SOMEONE ELSE. My last visit took 6 hours

Aleshia Lafave

My appointment was at 10 am and I have waited over 2 hrs and still have not been called back for anything. Anytime i ask if they know how long the receptionist gives me attitude and tells me to wait my turn

Christian Davis

Very nice 100% saved my life I’d be dead or still out there

Anthony Beltran

Very transparent. They get everything sorted before you see the doc so there is no gigantic bill coming home, they resolved everything with my insurance before my appointment. Dr Reddy is one of the best there is out there. You will not be disappointed.

Valeria Vetsky

By far the best place for opioid treatment! Highly qualified doctor and love my therapist as well, highly recommend. I feel like my support system is in place, the staff genuinely cares.

Alyssa Wood

Dr. Reddy and 2nd Chance are the best!! They really care about addicts and they are very affordable!!!!! I recommend this place to anybody looking for help. By checking on me regularly it has put me on the right path to recovery. I would never go anywhere else!!!!

Tanner Watkins

Highly recommend Dr Reddy for addiction therapy. The staff of second Chance treatment center is very courteous, organized and patient. There is a extremely high demand for the treatment that they provide and they are able to and all the patient load with a great time-saving service.

Andy Dearing

This place has no clue how to verify insurance. Was turned away more than once because they claimed I had coverage other than AHCCCS - when I spoke to AHCCCS the issue was resolved - rescheduled my appointment and was told they would verify my insurance before the appointment- they did not - yet another wasted trip and no explanation as to why they are the only provider who has this issue. Today they told me my AHCCCS plan wasnt taking calls - and yet when I called they answered immediately. Thanks for lying, wasting my time, and wasting my gas.

Randi J.

I love 2nd Chance Treatment center . I've been coming here about a month . And what a difference my life is. I see a huge change already. My life was getting out of control. I see Dr Ulrich and he is amazing. He really cares about me as a patient and a person . He listens to my concerns and wants the best plan for my recovery. He wants me to succeed. The office staff is also very nice and helpful. Thank you 2nd Chance for another chance in living.

Nicole Cunningham

Have been coming here for years now and love the staff and Dr. They DO care and the girls are always so sweet and helpful. I have and will continue to recommend this office. :) Happy thanksgiving guys!! And thank you Dr. Reddy for the 5+years you have been my best and favorite Dr.
