I have seen Dr. Gurmendi for 4 years and loved him. But Louis the secretary is one of the rudest humans I have ever encountered. When dealing with patients with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, suicidal tendencies, etc you DO NOT treat them like idiots. You DO NOT hang up on them. I have never missed an appt or caused an issue. But I find myself not wanting to even call to ask a question because I have to speak to her. I am now looking for a new dr. I'm so disappointed but I haven't felt this low about myself in a while.... and it's all over getting my feelings hurt from the only secretary at the place I go to to FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF. Kinda sad right?

Dr G is stellar. He is kind, compassionate and his expertise in his field is incredible. Lois is very direct and business like. But she has always treated me kindly. She always has a smile for me. Dr G is enthusiastic and very encouraging. He not only prescribes medications when needed. He actually talks to me and we dig down deep into what works best for me. He is the best!
