I'm not a patient of his, but my brother is. And let me just say that I am shocked... My brother is an addict who's been in recovery idk how many times and he's been to several rehabs and was finally getting back on track till he started seeing Dr. Laeupple. My brother's drug of choice is pills - pain pills & Xanax to be exact. And that Doctor prescribed him 90 Xanax bars a month. Those pills don't last him a week usually and it's a miracle he hasn't overdosed again... I'm all for taking pills when necessary and I know it's not Dr. Laeupple's fault that my brother has an addiction & I'm sure my brother didn't tell him his whole back story, BUT I don't understand why a doctor prescribed a 30 year old addict that many Xanax per month. Yes, my brother is responsible for his own actions, but that's like putting a steak in front of a hungry dog. :(

Dr. Laeupple is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. His office doesn’t run as smoothly, they don’t always answer calls, but I will not switch to another doctor I like him that much. He cares, he listens, he helps.

Dr. Laeupple is a fantastic doctor! I am new to the area and was able to set me up an appointment the next day! He is really smart and just an all around great person to talk to. I give him a 10/10!!!! I haven't had any problems with the office staff, but I'm never in the waiting room for anymore than 10 minutes.

I've been a patient of Dr. Laeupple's for almost a year now. At first, it seemed like Dr. Laeupple really listened and was truly concerned. The more follow-ups I had, the more it seemed like I had to repeat my concerns because he didn't know who I was and wanted to change medicines every visit without giving them a chance to work. Aside from that, the office staff is horrible. I had to reschedule an appointment one day and could get anyone to answer the phone; I had to leave multiple voicemails, with no return call. I've spent the past 3 days attempting to schedule an appointment, but the scheduling line voicemail box is full, so I've tried the other line options, and nothing. No one answers the phone or returns a voicemail. I will be finding a new doctor.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Laeupple for the past three years. I’ve been going through a divorce and alimony problems through the courts. Dr. Laeupple. Has my highest respect! He was there when I needed to have deposition and he was there when I needed him to appear in court. He cleared his morning of patient just to appear in court and the end of the day for 9:00 am the next day. He listens, he knows his drugs and prescribes medicine only when he feels it is needed, no over medicating. If your looking for the best Dr. Laupple is the one for you. I can’t say enough about him!

He’s terrible has misdiagnosed me for over a year. I have called today to try to get in because he put me on medications that have made me feel 1000x worse and he wouldn’t see me today. Just said stop taking the medications and make another appointment. He doesn’t care about his patients he just wants their money DO NOT GO TO DR LAUPELLE

My daughter was seeing this psychiatrist, and when she attempted suicide using pills he had prescribed for her, I called to ask for his advice. He was rude, arrogant, and abrupt to me, even though I had been paying the deductible charges for her care. He advised me to take my 46 year-old screaming, combative daughter to the emergency room. Short of having her arrested, or physically dragging her, I was unable to follow his advice, since she refused to go. Finally, she agreed to go to a friend’s house, who promised to take her to the emergency room. However, she decided to cut her wrist before this could occur, and was taken to the ER by ambulance when her friend found her walking down the hall dripping blood. She was evaluated by a Psyciatrist in Decatur, who sent her to The Sanctuary in Cullman. She was kept there for 9 days, and was sent back home to live with me and my 83 year-old mother, who has congestive heart failure and COPD. To this day, this doctor has never called to check on my daughter. He obviously does not care, and I would not recommend him to anyone!

I love Dr Laeupple but it is way too hard to get anyone on the phone in this office. It usually takes me 4-6 calls to finally get someone to answer just to make an appointment.

I have been a patient of Dr. Laupple's for several years. I first saw him when he worked for Alabama Psychiatric Services (APS) and followed him to his new practice once APS closed its doors. He has always been great! Never do you have to wait forever when you have an appt scheduled; he is always on time. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions.

I've been with Dr. Laeupple for about 3 years and have never had an issue with him personally. I like our relationship and I think he genuinely cares about his patients. That all being said the staff is frustrating when it comes to getting things done via phone. NO ONE ever answers the phone and you end leaving a message. I wish my healthcare needs were as important out of the office as they are when I'm in his office.

He's a great man, he listens and is very humble and understanding. He remembers everything you tell him and he always asks how my grandfather's doing(even though i only see him bi-monthly). Anyone who's posting a negative review is trying to get something they want and don't need. If you need a good psychologist then this is the guy to see. -Mac

I made it to my appointment ON TIME according to my phone's clock. I had my paperwork in my hand but hadn't completed it just yet as many doctors will allow you to complete it while waiting to be seen. NOPE, NOT HERE! As soon as the rude front desk lady noticed I didn't have my paperwork completed, she immediately asked to reschedule me! This was my first impression and a terrible one at that. I refused to reschedule since DR. Laeupple is too greedy to see a patient that was there on time with a copy of my MRI. I have since found care elsewhere but I can't get over the lack of empathy for my missing an entire day of work just to be rescheduled! I don't recommend this office AT ALL! Save your money and time: find another Dr!

He listened to me understood what I’ve been through and what I’m going through now, he really wants to help with my severe anxiety I really like him my first visit 10/26/18 he took the time to listen and respond to help me deal with life’s problems. I really appreciate him taking time with me to help.
