After obtaining my CCDW license I was interested in learning how to properly use my firearm. I spent 60 hours worth of private lessons with DA and attended several of their tactical nights at the local range. We began with the fundamentals and progressed to drawing from a holster, shooting on the move, vehicle engagements, multibpe targe drills, CQB (1and 2 man room clearing basics), etc.., They answered every question I had about when it was appropriate to use my firearm and how to react in many different scenarios. I also worked with their hand to hand specialist for those situations when you do not have a weapon.
All of these guys are the utmost professionals and experts at their individual crafts. They never blinked at the fact that I am a female and trained me just as they would have any other male client. Having spent this much time with the group, I feel that I can speak to their professionalism and to their personal character, as well.
Recently, there was a security scare at my work place. I emailed a member of the team asking what the proper response would have been in this particuar scenario. He offered to come to my work place and we spent two hours walking the property looking for ways to avoid dangerous situations and deal with the threat of violence if it were unavoidable.
If you are interested in becoming more skilled or looking for a group to handle a specific security issue, you will not find a more professional or diversly talented private security service/tactical training provider.
