I wish I could say I was happy with their service, but I’m not. I asked them to determine where a lady works, so I could serve her. They followed her to a secured garage and did not bother to follow up. They told me they had opened a records request, but they didn’t. There were 2 potential employers that reside in the building, but they didn’t bother to do any more investigation. I hired a private investigation firm, but all they could do was provide amateur service. I paid them $390 for very little in return. After coming up short, they said they would refund some of my retainer, which they never did. After bugging them, they said I had used the balance. They would not call me, I had to call them. Disappointing service. Much promised, little delivered, unapologetic! In the same manner that an authoritarian government receives 95 to 100 percent approval in an "election", Trailfinder has 5 stars. You see they have a clause in their contract that says that you can't "disparage" their company. That violates my right to free speech. I received a threat letter this morning from Andrew Scott. Please review this letter and decide whether you would like to utilize their services. "Hello Sir - I am not happy that you are not happy. But I truly feel we did the best we could with a $390 budget. We followed her three times. If your legal goal was to serve her, it's as easy as hitting her before work since she parks on the street and warms her car up. With more time, we certainly can dig up more information but we earned each hour that we billed you. Please see attached our signed legal contract. I would like to bring your attention to the top of page 4, paragraph "Non-Contingent" which states that "Client expressly acknowledges that Agency's fees for services are NOT contingent on the outcome or results of the above referenced investigation." and "Client understands that results of surveillance and investigations by their nature are not guaranteed and are limited by time and resources." We never charged you mileage, we offered to serve her free, and gave you 30% off the hours we did bill you for. I understand your upset you didn't get the full answer yet, but you can't say that it's our incompetence, when it was solely the budget. All services we have provided you have been in good faith. Lastly, I would like to bring to your attention the paragraph titled "NON-DISPARAGEMENT" in which we agreed that you would not disparage us by publishing online or otherwise any negative statements about us or the services we provided you. It is stated in the contract that without you agreeing to not disparage us, we would never have entered into these services with you, knowing the very nature of how risky their success is. You agreed to pay us $200 per day for each site you post negative reviews to, until removed, in addition to any and all attorneys fees we may incur to enforce our agreement. Unless you want us to start billing you $200/day, we would kindly ask that you remove the attached seen review from Google. Update 3/21/2019 On March 19th, 2019 I received a text message from the owner of Trailfinder, Inc. warning me that I had 15 minutes to make it to court before a default judgement would be issued against me for $6,140. At the time of my court date, Trailfinder texted me pics of an Affidavit of Process Service, and a Small Claims Court Summons. The Affidavit stated that I was served by M&M Serving of Colorado Springs at my home at a specific date and time. However, I was home at the time (and I live alone), and I was NOT served. As such, this is either a serious mistake made by the process server, or a fraudulent act to gain an unlawful default judgement in court. When I googled M&M Serving of Colorado Springs, Trailfinder was the first search result shown; which suggests that the process server may not be independent of Trailfinder. The judge through out this frivolous judgement.

I have reason the believe(per plaintiff of case)that instead of serving the documents I needed served, he instead advised the plaintiff of the motion I had filed so that he was able to avoid any further chance of being served by someone else. But the job was eventually done by an honest person in the VERY FIRST TIME.. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND this COMPANY!! OH AND WHEN HE SAID THAT HE WAS NEVER ABLE TO FIND THE PLAINTIFF AT HOME and I ASKED HIM TO TRY AGAIN, the COST DOUBLED!!! When I asked way he said he was to busy and if I wanted him to fit me in then that would be the cost.. DOUBLE!! So if you aren’t the plaintiff in a case you need someone served ON, I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.. He had said he tried 6 different times. With no success. I gave him exact times of day on each day Of the week that he would find this person home. The only time he saw the plaintiff but instead of serving him like I paid him for he gave the plaintiff a heads up. You can not ask for a more professional service. I was updated on the progress as needed, my service process was made on a weekend which obviously this agency will work on the weekends to accomplish the task. They offer to notarize and send your affidavit to the clerks office and from what they told me retain the body cam got one year as proof of service!!
