I cannot say enough good things about Rick. He was out of town but took my call and had people start working immediately. I was in a very sensitive situation that he was able to resolve in a matter of days. Two women were attempting to extort money from me. He located them in another city and obtained addresses and personal information, along with much of their life history. At his recommendation we took all of this information to an attorney. Within one day a letter was composed and personally delivered to them (note - this was in another city). I have not been contacted or approached since these women received the letter.

Dear God, Grab your nearest set of Angel wings n reserve 'em for this man right here. Amen. Am dealing with an unfortunate chain of events and within the first 10seconds of talking to this man I not only trusted him and liked him but I knew I could learn a lot from him. 10 seconds... I couldn't have made a better call. If you are questioning... Call Rick. Incredibly informative and his knowledge base is out of this world. He is like a human index of useful information, fun facts, legal comparisons and "things to take copious amounts of notes on". He's like an almanac an encyclopedia and a legal issue of what's hot and what's not quiz all in one and on top of that talking to him is a breeze. He understood that I was a human who was having a hard time and he not only listened to me, but related to everything I said and had his own story to tell me. We are all someone's kid. We are all mommas boys or daddys little girl brothers sisters aunts uncles nieces nephews and we are all ultimately the same. I live by the golden rule(treat others the way u want to be treated) and sadly Rick and I had to agree that the world is not like that anymore. We don't protect our family like we used to. Especially if there's money involved, most family members nowadays throw other family under the bus and take what they can and run with it. It physically makes me sick and I didn't know what to do. After an hr of crying to and talking with Rick, copious note taking and baffling intake of his magnificent knowledge (yes, magnificent knowledge), I am now a different person head strong and know where the f*$k I'm goin with my situation. There's a difference between being able to "be the change you want to see" (I strive for this) and fighting fire with fire and sometimes.... well sometimes, you just have to be a cu*t right back. Smart move calling calling Rick. Smartest thing I've done all year and I've got no qualms yelling it from the roof tops, thank you very much. Rick, your a GEM. Thank you so very much. Truly. Oh by the way... within the first 10mins of our conversation he told me that I needed a lawyer not a pi. I didn't end up hiring him but now I kinda want to find a reason to hire him. Ha! I contacted Rick Johnson after having had a judgement issued in my favor and attempting to locate the individual on my own, with no luck. I wanted/needed an honest opinion and found myself asking these same questions. Would it be possible to find this individual? Would it be worth my time? And, what would the cost be? I researched a few agencies online thankfully encountering his website Rick Johnson and Associates. What caught my attention TO BEGIN WAS, OPEN 24 HOURS! NEXT, Rick was a prior investigator with both Denver and Jefferson County District Attorney's Offices as well as served as a Grand Jury Investigator in both Districts. FINALLY, THE REAL ICING ON THE CAKE, Rick's 39 years of law enforcement/private practice experience! Could you ask for anything more? I decided to read on. I noticed there was a section dedicated to references and the testimonials spoke volumes (i.e., "Prompt, savvy, professional, helpful, serious, excellent advice, commitment, invaluable insight, incredible PI, very pleased, integrity, expert advice, sound judgement, and would work with him again") I loved the feedback! I knew this was the guy for me :) I decided to send Rick an email, within minutes I received a response and we followed up the next day. He asked several questions to insure he had an accurate idea of my situation and what was in my best interest. He was honest and straight forward. Rick was easy to speak to and extremely helpful. He provided me with several options, several in which I had not previously considered. We spoke in great detail and never did he rush me off the line or make me feel as though he did not have time for me. I truly appreciated his compassion to doing what's right and helping those who truly need it.
