I would tell anyone considering hiring this PI is to the run in the other direction, unless you feel like paying $100/hr with no results! Do Don't agree to large retainer Fee's of $1,500/$1,000/ or even $500. Start out at $150 and require updates and results before paying additional money. If you agree to large upfront money, you will end up with with nothing (results or money). It was difficult enough just to get a phone call back. You will get a warm and fuzzy intro call, but then it's like pulling teeth to get info/results after you pay. Over the course of 5 weeks, only talked on phone 3 times, and that's asking for him to return calls. No results and wouldn't even travel to address's I found ( I went alone to scope out locations), seems as though there are more important priorities than investigating our case. Don't do it, unless you have extra money to blow. Save your money and do your own investigating, or find another PI. Also, make him sign a contract stating his terms and conditions, such as how many times he will contact and update you by phone. What is he going to do for you. Don't just accept his vague contract.
