This company fosters a very negative environment, from the cattle-call treatment of applicants to the rudeness of trainers. One particular African-American trainer who is in his 60s seems to have it in for anyone who has any physical limitations, gets up in your face as if he is a drill sergeant. I'm talking about knee injuries. And the man who is the general manager is extremely rude in the way he speaks to employees. While individual sites might be pleasant, the office experience ruins it for everyone. They talk a lot about "attitude" - they need to change theirs.

I've only worked here for 2 weeks I started as temp officer hired through Ingram micro and worked 5 days straight for On the job training. I was then told previously to talk to a man who was the scheduling supervisor named SADIK idk what's his last name is. He setn me up with a new account to be a flex officer until the initial place Ingram micro had a 3rd shift position.i worked at the Crestwood sprint store for 4 days then was told to work the weekend and as soon as I got there another officer was present so I called SADIK asking what was the deal. He told me something along the lines that she need to finish out her days something like that. Regardless he just told me to go home after I was already in. This company is very unprofessional and soo unorganized.

Applied online successfully qualified for a part-time position in Lexington, Ky I received a call from recruitment office a interview was scheduled immediately for the position I received multiple calls prior to interview confirming I will be of attendance I showed up ten minutes earlier then the scheduled time I was greeted by Brian a current employee of G4S that I will be assisted shortly I waited patiently for fifteen minutes to finally meet with my interviewer Patricia Rice she was kind at first impression together we proceeded to her office Patricia begun to go over my work history which anyone who has applied for G4S knows you have to list verified employment history for previous ten years I had completely no problem submitting my employment history needed but I have only been working for four years in my life and out of those four years I worked 11 jobs mainly part-time and temporary positions with faith if I work well above average I will successfully receive a full-time position assignments don't last forever at staffing agencies contracts close Patricia told me I have terrible work experience in less than three mins of entering her office I waited to see if Patricia Rice was going to continue on with the conversation and tell me at least a little about the company even though I research G4S myself prior to my scheduled interview Patricia didn't waste any time she told me I have never worked for a employer longer than 5 months but I have verified work experience for positions on my resume longer than a year and you have to submit vaild telephone numbers for previous employers when applying for G4S Patricia said if I hire you today you are just going to quit I was shocked because I was only in her office less than five minutes I replied to Patricia If im no longer needed for the part time position i was offered i can just find a employer some where else Patricia agreed and replied yes I waited a second out of confusion I have never scheduled a interview before just attend finally to be told personally in less than three minutes I will not be receiving the position I was basically harrassed about Technically Patricia had my resume for days my contact information I spoke with many different individual empolyees of G4S prior to my interview with Patricia if I didn't meet required qualifications why waste my time and leave a potential possible empolyee with such a atrocious first impression I may understand more if G4S has a high turn over in employees but this is just unprofessional to bad I can't report this Lexington, Ky Branch to Better Business Bureau I hope future applicants have better luck I personally can't get back the time I wasted applying especially from the online application

Ironically the location of this branch describes its professionalism, a Mickey Mouse ran operation. Although key figures are great at this particular site I personally worked for this site. Believe me when I tell you this branch is unorganized, for a company that prides its self on being the biggest the budgeting was herendous. They moved me from site to site but the worst part was the pay here. Not only that they don’t care about your family they will take hours away without a moments notice. I personally had issues with prejudice and bigotry while working here. This company has some of the rudest, self centered wanna be boss mentality staff. If you work here heed my warning document all your work hours. If you are of any African lineage or anything other than caucaisan of white complexion beware of the Road Captain Carson Sangrey he is on a mission to move up in the ladder here and will step on you and use you as his pawn. He is a power hungry good ole boy on a mission. Brown- nosing Major- Silva doesn’t care about your family life nor care to run a decent team. If it’s not about pleasing cooperate this site can careless what happens hence the numerous lost contracts due to lack of professionalism. I worked with a racist partner at a particular site and after numerous complaints about how I was being treated by this coworker I was harassed to the point where we both got into a physical fight because of all the racial slurs he was hurling. Guess who was moved from the job site? Me .The person being harassed. You’ve been warned.

What a joke for a security team. I was able to walk past security without going through metal detector without being wanted without being questioned, while trying to access a hospital. I was sitting in the waiting room at the hospital the security guard left his post told the nurse he would be right back. In the time that he was gone for individuals walked right past his post around the metal detector and sat down in the waiting room. Who knows if they had weapons or other intent security guard wasn't there to protect anybody. Went to another hospital security guard is a pervert wanted to see the woman's panties in a bag pull them out show him to them also was not wearing gloves he wanted to touch them Donald grow you pervert. I'm pretty sure it is policy to wear gloves before touching anybody's belongings. I'm sure your mom didn't work because the metal that was on my belt did not set it off you didn't ask me if I had any weapons on me. I was able to walk through the ER and upstairs at Cape Canaveral Hospital with God knows what. When I call to file a complaint with G4S nobody answers their phone when I called the hospital to talk to management I was told I had to come in to file a complaint by Stephen with a v and that to inquire about policy such as a security guard leaving his post I had to contact Hospital risk management which was a lie. After I told Steven that has fellow co-workers did not take pride in their job Stephen hung up on me. I spoke to risk management I asked her if it was okay to record the conversation since they were she said yes when I reminded her that I was recording the conversation she abruptly hung up on me. Why hang up on somebody if you have nothing to hide by hanging up you are shady you are proving that you were doing something wrong and you are hiding. Transparent companies transparent people do not hang up when they were told they are being recorded for a second time. This company is Shady they want to talk about how fraud cost Americans over a hundred billion dollars a year however they're the ones committing fraud they are taking money for a service but they are not providing it they are not providing security for these hospitals because people are able to walk right past security upstairs with weapons. How safe do you feel knowing that there are weapons bypassing security and Health First hospitals and other facilities that G4S supposedly keeps secure. thank you and have a wonderful day. I have interviewed with G4S a few times, ultimately turned down a position each time cauae i didnt think it be a good fit. But the people who interviewed me were very nice, and well informed on job roles and positions. Tjey made the interviews comfortable, and gladly answered any questions i had. Their office is nice and clean. Theyre one of the bigger security companies aroumd, and jobs they advertise pay right around the norm for the type of industry.

So i left the company in regards to getting another security job else where due to the branch sticking me at a warehouse setting that handles recieving and shipping which is what i never did before worked there for 3-4 weeks and my last week i worked ot because i pushed into it now i should have gotten a 2 weeks worth of pay this friday 5/11/18 and unforntely the person that handled my pay only paid me for 2 hours and i looked into my bank account i got 16.25 i felt very screwed over by this company on top of that they are refusing to pay me out those 2 weeks because according to there side i was paid out correctly well news flash bored of labor says it all

G4S is a wonderful company! There was an evacuation that took place at the Lake Lynda location due to a faulty elevator, the guards and management staff were right on it. All worked together with MTC and other staff to get it resolved within a 2 hr period.

I drove 50mins for a interview all for the lady to tell me she cancelled my interview but I never received a email for a cancellation. Then she decides to take me anyway but was totally unprofessional. She took one look at me and just knew she didn't want to hire me so she was just being rude. Tom Kriesler, the trainer, is a delusional white supremacist who halts your orientation classes to brag about how he's an "Exorcist" that expels demons from people. Seriously. Most sites are run by 65 year old lazy drunks who sleep on the job and pass off half their administrative work onto the security officers. This company tries to impose military shaving standards, and forces you to buy your own razors, t shirts, boots, etc, despite claiming they will provide the uniforms. And when they do provide a pair of pants or a shirt, they're always 5 sizes too big, and they demand that YOU pay for the tailoring to fix it. Most of the security officers they hire are sexual deviants, misogynists, racists, and homophobes just like Tom Kriesler and his limey wife, Sue.

For a company that touts themselves as one of the world's biggest and most premier employers, they sure do run on a tight budget. You're just as well-off working at McDonald's, and that isn't a joke or an insult. I worked 3rd shift at the Eastern Regional Water Supply Facility in Orlando.The job paid $8/hr, which is just as cheap as you can be. Even though this was a completely isolated post with almost no human contact, l would be harassed regularly about having whiskers and unpolished shoes; just the epitome of senseless pettiness. l quit before long. Let's not forget, this is the company that employed Omar Mateen. l have no idea how they still maintain any respect in the business world.

This security officer literally followed me around a church parking lot all because I pulled over for a moment, and then became combative with me because he felt that I ignored him. When I asked what was the problem he couldn’t give me a real answer, but it’s clear he had his harassment hat on this morning because there was no reason for him to even approach me. I went to this location for a job fair, got hired and started the non paid training the following week. Sat in a class room from 700 to 600 for 5 days taking lots of notes and took like 5 exams required by the company on top of the 2 Florida State exams required to pass in order to get your security license. Mr. Teddy Brock blabbed on and on about the company's high standards and acting real strict towards the classmates in training. Come to find out they want you to meet their high standards with appearances and uniform but yet they pay a lousey $9 an hour which is way below the average pay for a security officer in Florida. After the training I started at a site where they were desperately short of Officers. I started working. 60 to 80 hours a week. And the supervisor was still calling me asking me to work more hours on top Of the 80 hours I already had. Then they hired some more people who are horrible to work with. Once they stared having the bodies covered for the shifts they cut my hours. Within the 5 months I been there I've seen officers come and go not lasting more than 2 months. I picked up a shift they needed and 2 days before they texted me saying the shift is covered. I had picked up multiple shifts one week and they canceled it witg short notice. Then I really had it when my relief didn't show up and I worked a double. Next day the supervisor said thanks and told me I'll have Friday off no overtime. What's the incentive for working for there guys ? It's not even worth it don't work here much less apply. Theres way better Security jobs out there.

Went to st joe main in lexington with my wife to support her during her open heart surgery! I recall getting harrased and stereotyped to assume that i was nothing less than a criminal! I wear red very fluently, and may carry a swag or certain sense of proclivity they arent used to but, in reality, if i were to begin from the first visit in 2016 till now to describe in order incident after incident, senseless shakedown, lies and accusations made on me just for something as simple as floating from waiting room to waiting room searching for nothing except to inprove the level of comfortability overnight due to my inability to travel forth and back from there to home everyday bcuz of being an out of towner so to them i was looked upon with the same level of prowessness as that of a lowly peasant!!!: - JUST TO EXPLAIN TO REVEAL BY TINY EXAMPLE the ridiculous level of inhumane and judgemental conditions that were eventually placed on me only to conclude to the end of my stay there with my poor wife, STILL THERE, alone, being last night finally with two of the unprofessional security guards waiting until i left property only to go to tge 3rd floor room that my wife is recovering in until the 20th of next month and make up and formulate yet another, but final story and there reasoning behind, informing her to let me know im not allowed back on property because they caught me smoking on campus when for a fact, as god as my witness, i left her room, got onto the decending elevator to be stopped at the 1st floor, walked out the front door revolving glass doors, got into a blue jeep immediatly and left the premises, only to conclude into tge phone call i was to get from her twlling me exactly what they said and because i was caught smoking again! Smmfh!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL VERY INEXPERIENCED VERY JUDGEMENTAL EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL! G4s solutions should be ashamed they even still work at the hospital and I PERSONALLY, wont stop until that changes and they are no longer present even anywhere at all in lexington Kentucky
