Recently I had the pleasure of dealing with Private Investigator Mike Hakimi at EPIS. Although I never met investigator Hakimi, because I live in NJ and needed the services of a private investigator in the Los Angeles, CA area. I didn’t know who to call but I am so glad I found Investigator Hakimi at EPIS. Mike answered the phone listened to my problem and explained what was needed and the process clearly. After speaking to my wife we decided we had no other choice but to use the services of EPIS. That Friday evening Mike sent the paper work needed to hire them. What I found over a 3 day period by dealing with Mike over the phone, email and texting how professional, understanding and considerate Mike was. On that Friday Eve I attempted to send Mike everything he needed to start the process. Mike sent me an email that evening while I was already out for dinner that he didn’t get it. I wasn’t able to get him the paperwork he needed to start until late that night or Saturday morning. I emailed Mike Saturday morning that I was sending him the paperwork and he informed me that he already had requests to use his services and I needed to get the paperwork to him as soon as possible. I did and was relieved that it was done and I could relax somewhat. Later that afternoon I informed Mike that I decided I would fly out to L.A and attempt to follow my daughter myself and would not need his services. Investigator Mike was understanding and took the time to provide me with advice. He even said to call him if I needed anything when I arrive in LA. I purchased my plane ticket, reserved a rental car and a hotel room. On Sunday morning day I realized I was crazy to think I would be able to do what Mike said needed 3 investigators to follow someone from LAX. I called Mike and told that I needed his services to handle this. Mike again was professional and told me what additional information he needed. We got everything to him with less than 9hrs before my daughters flight was taking off. My daughter, with less than 6 hours before her flight was to take off she decided to take my advice not to go on this trip. Although I was a relieved, I now needed to once again let Mike know I no longer would need his services only hours before he and 2 other investigators were to start following my daughter for her protection. The way that he responded was refreshing. He understood and he told me that he was happy that everything turned out well for my family. Well it doesn’t stop there; I asked what I owed him knowing how much time he had put into this. I was expecting some sort charge and more than happy to pay. Mike said that he was just glad that everything turned out well and don’t worry about it. I have never met Mike and didn’t know anything about EPIS but after dealing with Mike I would have no reservation to hire or recommend Mike at EPIS. Five star service.

I needed to do a background check on someone (who shall remain nameless, since I don't want him to know!), and a good friend of mine recommended Empire Pacific Investigative Services Inc. I was a bit hesitant to call at first since they're in Los Angeles and I'm in San Francisco, but my friend gave them such a high recommendation, I decided to give them a try. I spoke to one of the owners, Mr. Mike Hakimi... in fact; he's the one that picked up the phone! I asked him several questions about his business, and all that a background check entails. Just by talking to him, you can tell that he knows his stuff! I discovered that there are several different checks you can do for a background check and that the price is dependent upon which checks you want done. What I liked most about Mike is that he runs the business, so you will always be able to get him on the phone (he said 24 hrs. a day - I hope he sleeps!). He's not paying a bunch of middlemen so his prices are very competitive. I won't hesitate hiring Investigator Mike and recommending him to friends.

First thing I'd like to say is, if you think you need a Private Investigator, don't feel embarrassed or uncomfortable to call. I have used at least half a dozen private investigation companies in the Los Angeles County area so my comments are based on an assessment relative to the industry at-large. Due to the nature of services for which one uses a private investigator, this is not the type of service where the reviewer/user/customer tells the internet what they requested/ordered (i.e. penne primavera with red sauce). You don't go to an investigator with something you want to tell the public. That's why they are called "private" investigators - to be discreet while gathering the information you need. I have hired investigator Mike Hakimi on multiple instances within the past few months and have found his services to be just what I was looking for. He calls you back when you leave a message and responds to email. That should be the norm in any industry but unfortunately it seems like it doesn't happen as often as one would expect. My Son found Mike at Empire Pacific because we needed a detective in order to find someone. We had spend a lot of time and money on many search people websites and never found anything current on the person we were trying to find. We hired Mike to do an initial check to find the person. Mike called and said on the initial check that he had found what we needed, he said the second step would be to go look by foot and there would be a fee per hour. About 2 hours later Mike called and told us he had found the person and gave me his current phone number. I called and sure enough it was the person I was looking for. Now this shows how honest Mike is because he could have easily billed me for a few extra hours of leg work (which is paid per the hour) and I would not have known he already found the person. Mike was very attentive when I called and either picked up his phone or called me back very fast. I would highly recommend Mike, he is vey good at what he does and is respectful, honest and FAST!
