Dreadful management. No amount of cleansing could remedy the chicanery, malice, and downright evil actions of management in this branch. It can be understood that some people will have bad experiences, that being stated, I have had the more bad experiences in this single location than my 14 year career as a security officer. There remains a condition of shabby uniforms, unethical practices, excuse laden rhetoric, and extremely poor customer service. The only thing that could bring light to this company is fire consuming it.
On more than one occasion I was asked to submit copies of my ID cards, security license, and CPR/AED cert card. Apparently they had been lost.
On more than one occasion I observed supervisors conduct interlaced with pejorative emotional interjection and leadership characteristics that on par with sociopathic behaviors.
On more than one occasion I observed a security officer mishandle a firearm.
One two separate incidents I observed security officers working without a license.
One two separate incidents I had documents for SNAP benefits that needed to be submitted and were not in a reasonable time which caused hardship to my family.
I was removed from a contract for no cause which applied duel liabilities to which management stated it was due to the clients wishes.
When I reduced my availability of hours due to being removed from that contract and making far less money I was retaliated against by management.
I was made to feel inferior due to egocentrism. I was made to work with unsafe and mentally ill people. I was caste into an "outgroup" for standing up for myself when I saw unethical and immoral behaviors. Finally, I was always willing to do my job to the utmost, remaining composed and tactful even in spite of such a horrible work environment.
For the company as a whole, I will add that the typical behaviors of salesmen trump what they can really deliver. If you consider working for this branch or this company, just know that they do not have a equitable mind about how they conduct their business. It would be a good job to have if you were going to school, but I would refrain from becoming involved in a company with the experiences I have had. Best of luck to all job seekers.
