I really wanted to like this place. It's local to me and I preferred not to have to drive a couple hours away to get my procedure done. I had massive weight loss and was looking into body contouring. The first time I went in the receptionist was snotty. Waiting time wasn't bad so I can give them that. Turns out at that time the receptionist was also the initial person in the room with me. She told me right out "you don't need anything done". I didn't ask for her opinion, nor was it welcome. The surgeon who came in afterwards was "ok". She is no longer there (telling now), nice enough, but also opinionated instead of truly listening. So I had spent the next year checking out half a dozen other surgeons in the Midwest. I came back again after seeing that there was a change in staff. Again, it would've been more convenient to do my procedure locally. This new surgeon was very nice, but the other staff was still rigid and not at all flexible (could be them or could be Aspirus in general). Aspirus Plastic Surgery in Wausau COULD be great, but they are still have the small town attitude & don't truly realize people have options. Other places have better service, more experience, cash prices, and don't jump their overall costs are steep as they did. They really need to do their research and compare what they are offering to others. I thought many times about talking to them about how they're losing out in person (I'd really like to help them improve), but I doubt they'll hear me.
